It is the year 202, Jan. 4th

The storm has stopped, however the ground is covered in ice and snow, Oni wander around the land, though they are passive they are a nuisance. It is still very cold out, -30 degrees but no wind out. Something seems off as the sun is now showing in the sky and it has remained dark.

Kingdom News:

Lionis: It has become known that the Emperor has suffered from a heart attack, however his condition is unknown

Zalto: A riot has broken out in front of the church of Onera with believers at least 100 casualties, 40 citizens having been caught in the cross, and 70 people arrested from both sides.

Ethe: The barrier has gone down and the Ethernal fire has gone out, citizens have stormed the Ethernal Fire and believed the priests to have been negligent, the priests of the Ethernal Fire have been put to death by the mob. With the barrier down the crops that haven't been gathered are now dead due to the snow and ice, the cold that the barrier had been protecting Ethe from now sinks in.

Bellris: The cold from the storm has iced the complete northern side of the castle and has caused the villagers in the north to flee toward the southern villages. All the crops in Bellris that haven't been harvested are now dead.

Phobos: The cold from the storm has had hardly any effect on Phobos due to the regular cold weather they have, and thanks to the regularity of the cold they have hardly any blowback. The few crops they managed to plant are growing steadily.

It is the year 202, Jan. 6th

News is now delivered via Psychic constructs of humanoid forms named PIA.

The land is cold and frigid with very little light showing though the thick, billowing, rolling clouds. A wailing wind cries from the north, ripping out plants by the root. The light from the sun can barely be seen between the clouds and sometime it even vanishes all together. it is -20f

Kingdom News:

Lionis: The west side of the Slums smolders from the fire and under Princess Esthers....persuasion... have began to clean up the ashes.

Zalto: A priest of Onera is found drowned in a well and many people rejoice while those of Onera take to mourning. Heavy winds come from the desert and rumor circulate that a glass structure has been uncovered by the wind.

Ethe: The rage surrounding the Ethernal fire has calmed and an attempt to find those that murdered the fire priests begins. Antigone is covered by frozen gore as frozen faces liter the ground. A barrier of 40ft. stalagmites encircles Solidon. Tales of a frozen beauty begin to circle.

Bellris: The republic looks abandoned and barren as its fields are empty and its people have gone underground. it is ten degrees colder here.

Phobos: The cold does not dissuade people from going about the day.

Maude: Despite the cold the Maude begins work on the Calan Fest.

Year 203

Lionis:
The Emperor seems to be doing well physically, however something could be said about his mental state as he begins a war with Bellris, the imperial armies march into Bellris without a single hesitation. Lionis however seems to be fearful as many begin to secretly leave the capital without notice, those that once fled Ethe return, those with ancestors in Phobos and Zalto go back to claim old homes that have been covered in dust. The population of the Capital drops fifty percent within a year and with the Emperor sending people off to fight the royal guard has been depleted, not enough people remain to keep the peace as people become bolder and bolder, two noble houses have been raided since the war began.

Ethe:
Despite the death of the Queen and the near extinction of the Quatrez line Ethe has been recovering rather well and has seen a boom in their economy never seen before. They are more stable then before the eruption.
Their fields are doing well and with meats reintroduced into the country no one in Ethe is going hungry, taxes have been raised to accommodate the slowly growing stability. Literacy has gone up as the Academy of Blackstone has been opened to all ranks in Etherland, a scholarship system has been introduced for bright individuals that pass the royal exam.
To honor their new found success and to prove to the world that they are growing a new capital has been chosen, The new Capital of Ethe is Obsidian, located within the mouth of the extinct volcano, Mt.Shaelia, near the far southern edge of the Kingdom. As well in response to the possibility of war spilling into Ethe the Queen Regent has installed a mandatory draft.

Beyond this...something new has been created by the curious minds of Blackstone Academy. Three students- Ishizawa Ashigo, Sybil Patel, and Bryan Cyvil- have made the discover of steampower. The three students have brought this discovery forward to many nobles in Ethe in order to gain fundage and since the discovery many things have been invented as others latch onto the idea and fund up and coming inventors.

In the east, founded by Dixon Titanus- Vacuums, Sewing Machines, a steam powered clock, a Printing press, and large steam powered drills have been constructed
While in the North of Ethe, the Mayor has found that by combining the new steam power and magic Etherland has created lightbulbs out of bluewhispers-melting them down and reforming them into wires that react to the steam and light up rooms, steam powered hammers that have reduced the cost of labor and have made it possible to begin an even larger project of a railway (currently only circleling Etherland), and the beginnings of a steam powered powergrid that uses geothermal energy to heat water from the nearby river and send it up pipes as well as giving access to clean, sanitary, and hot water to the main city of Etherland

Zalto:
Zalto has welcomes a second child into the world, a Prince named Edward Aldon to whom the title of crown prince now rests. Yet again Zalto manages to avoid a major catastrophe as the Queen of Zalto has eased religious tensions just a little by attending the Church of Onera openly. In the realm of bad news however the King has been sick for nearly a year and people fear the worst, the only relief they get is the occasional times the king will address his people.
In the desert the winds blow as more of the strange glass building has been uncovered along with far more, showing that beneath the Caelum sands a whole city made of glass has yet to be explored.

Phobos:
Phobos has been having relative success as well, finally after what seems to have been ages Phobos has managed to find several plants that grow well within their soil. Carrots, Pumpkins, Parsnips, and Potatos, Cabbage, Kale, and nearly every root vegetables. With the new surge in farming jobs several once unknown villages have begun to take in larger populations and the capital of Phobos is looking less like a rundown crime ridden village and more like an actual town as the muddy streets have been replaced by gravel roads. People are no longer scared to go outside without protection as the King has made Phobos much safer, corruption within the city guard has been thoroughly rooted out and crime has dropped once more another 10%, and the population has grown another 5%. You can actually hear children running around outside.

Bellris:
Bellris has resewn the fields that were damaged during the winter storm of 202 and again the fields grow strong. However due to the winter storm and the subsequent attack by the empire Bellris' capital is bursting at the seams and has had to add an additional three miles of buildings to accommodate those that have either been forced from their homes from wither the cold or the empires attack.

Alongside the efforts to rebuild the lost villages, Bellris builds for war. Sounds of hammers beating metal can be heard throughout the night and sightings of strange war machines being lifted out of holes have been seen by patrols passing though the air. The Bellrisian armies have been marching and stand ready to meet their enemies on the battle field.

Lionis:
The riots calm some as people get ready for the Empresses coronation.
Ethe:
The Typhoid break out in Solidon, Palude, and Titania regions continue, one in five are sick
Zalto:
Barbarians continue sacking Draconis, people have began to very slowly move back home.
Phobos:
All is well is Phobos.
Bellris:
The Typhoid break out in the regions of Vasilisa, Smokescale, Somnus continues.
