𝙲𝔯𝔬𝔴𝔫 𝙿𝔯𝔦𝔫𝔠𝔢 𝔬𝔣 𝚉𝔞𝔩𝔱𝔬 Aldon smiled softly nodding to his sister as he began to help lift her up on her horse, His eyes squinting slightly at the pain it put on his left calve. "You shouldn't push yourself so much Athena. Mother would be upset if you make the injury worse." He turned to speak to the Emperor and politely decline his offer of a house healer when Kaiden spoke up. He eyed him worried that his words may have somehow offended the Emperor as they were spoken out of turn. His eyes though rested on his brothers hands on Ambrosia's shoulder's, this made him uncomfortable. He should not show too much attachment to the girl, at least not in front of the Emperor. Sighing he looked back at the Emperor. "I thank you for your offer, we would be glad to have the help of another healer with us for the journey back. I fear my leg may cause some problems so the help is much appreciated." He paused noticing Ambrosia watching the physician with interest. His eyebrow twitched before he sighed once more, "Miss Aleksei I wouldn't suppose you'd have a poultice in that bag of yours that may by chance help ease the pain Athena is feeling?" To his annoyance she did and handed over to him a poultice of Opium Poppy and Comfrey, the glow on her face was enough to cause him to mentally roll his eyes. He took the poultice and handed it to the physician who was checking out Athena's foot, "Here, put this on her foot and wrap it up...As strange as it sounds, her poultices seem to work..." I rescued him when he was but a cub. His mother was killed by some villagers. And as I look at it, there is nothing wrong with larger sorts, it only provides you with more to love." she said patting Rascal's head lovingly. Just as she was about to speak about how she had stumbled across them, Kaiden spoke up for her. His grip on her shoulder she felt was more of a support for him than anything. She knew he needed her strength as his friend and she was happy to oblige though she was not used to being touched so informally. She placed a gentling hand on the hand that rested on her shoulder, patting it twice before turning to look back up at the Emperor. "It's true. I had been using my power to sort of guide me to the city of your kingdom so that I may learn more of your culture and herbs that grow here, when it..well I got lost. Rascal was chasing the light and I..well I was chasing Rascal..." she blushed softly dropping her gaze in embarrassment. "When we stumbled across each other we quite literally stumbled. I tripped over the skirts of the dress I had been previously wearing and fell in front of Kaid-...Prince Kaiden, who then tripped and fell in his attempt to not step on me...It's all rather funny when you think about it." Her embarrassment getting the better of her she found herself playing with the bandage on her arm from where she had cut herself to prove to a tribeswoman of Phobos that she wasn't going to poison her with one of her poultices. Realizing her nervous behavior she shook her hands out and looked back up at the Emperor, "So you see I have no real destination, just a goal to learn of the different cultures and herbs of the kingdoms and to use that knowledge to better myself and hopefully help more people by creating better and more varieties of poultices to help with different ailments." She said while her face was practically growing with excitement and purpose. She held his gaze for a moment longer, feeling as if she were getting lost in them before she blinked realizing she had let her gaze linger too long once again. Of course afterwards she was scolded by Aldon a little who then agreed to the healer joining them. "If I might be allowed to actually answer his lordship that would be nice, seeing as he did address me in that instance." She said in a slight huff before looking to the emperor and giving a small smile, showing that she was without a doubt her mothers daughter. "Thank you for the offer sire, I would be grateful for whomever you wish to spare, if for the sake of my brothers alone. I would be heartbroken should anything happen to either of them on our way home. As for myself, it's merely a sprained ankle and resting it should do the trick." She replied politely before looking over at Kaiden. "Not that you aren't good at tending wounds Kaid, but it's a little harder to look after your own without help." She said to him in a gentle tone that was still laced with concern before once again looking to the emperor and giving another small smile. "Oh and thank you Aldon for helping me up, and you as well miss Ambrosia for the poltice." She quickly added looking to both in turn as the physician looked her foot over.

 Clothing: Armor Transport: Shire Horse With: 20 guards Cash: $1000Going: Home Mood: a little angryThoughts: "Surprised..."Emperor Azazel smiled softly at Ambrosia "Well, Miss Aleksei, if you would like to stay in Lionis to study its culture, the people, and the plants, feel free to stay...or if you are going to travel back to Zalto feel free to come back any time, You will be given a room here at the castle " he would say to her before looking back at Aldon and nodded his head "Your mother was quite difficult, but we managed to exit the room without problems" he said before looking at Kaiden, the Emperor would press his lips firmly together as Athena would speak while the Emperor looked at the boy "a healer will be accompanying you back to Zalto as a sign of good faith, after all what would your father say if I let my own Niece and Nephews die from injurie? Nothing. because he would already be planning a war because I let you three die. So you will not argue with my decision." Azazel would say "Despite how well of a healer Miss Aleksei is, it would be a safer bet" he said. The three Zalto children where his niece and nephew by law twice as Azazel had married both of their paternal aunts, however the only thing tying him to them now was that he had a daughter by one of King Arthur's sisters, if not for that daughter the Emperor would not be calling them family.

Kaiden clenched his teeth tightly but he stood firm where he stand then he closed his eyes as he lightly made a small bow to the Emperor,"Thank you sir.." as he stood back up but his head lowered as he eyes were hidden underneath his hair from the emperor as he removes his hand form Ambrosia's shoulder as he felt all eyes in his general direction.
He hated being out of place but when he and his siblings return home, he is gonna have a long talk with his mother and father as one of Kaiden's hand turned tightly into a fist but he hides it behind his back and as well he kept his mouth shut the entire time as he said what he wanted to say despite on being disrespectful or not.

He not only offered to allow her to stay in Lionis longer to study their culture but he now offered her a room in his home. This was an offer she could not simply refuse, besides it would be highly frowned upon if she were to refuse and risk upsetting him. Before she spoke she looked over to Kaiden, he was clearly upset and while she couldn't discern what exactly was upsetting him so much, she wanted desperately to help him calm down and feel better. She would hate saying goodbye to her dear friend, but he seemed uncomfortable here and she was in no place to refuse the hospitality of the Emperor...With her mind made she faced the Emperor, curtsying low she smiled sweetly. "If you are sure it is not too much of a bother, I would love to take you up on your offer. Besides Lionis was where I had written to my father as my next destination. To suddenly change course would worry him...and he is fairly frail ever since..." she paused, biting her bottom lip and shaking her head. She couldn't get the words out of her lips and just hoped they'd understand. She let out a calming breath before turning to Kaiden and reaching out to pull his fisted hand from behind his back, cradling it in her two hands. "But I will write every day or as often as possible. And if you'd allow, I would very much love to visit you very soon my dear friend." She paused before adding, "besides don't you think we should at least give your parents some sort of warning before they have a random visitor from a different kingdom?" She said laughing lightly. She moved closer to him bringing his hands to her heart. "But, if things should get hard or you need a friend do not fear to send me a letter asking I visit. I will be there with much haste. You are not alone Kaiden." she said this last piece in a whisper she knew only he would be able to hear. She then let go of his hand and stepped away. She turned to face Athena and smiled brightly, "No need to thank me. I enjoy helping others and healing those who need it. If I am able to relieve your pain even for a moment, it makes me happy." She looked at Aldon, flinching at the hard look he was giving her, he clearly did not appreciate her breaking normal manners in her grabbing Kaiden;s hand and speaking to him so informally. But she did not let him bother her this time. This time she stood her ground, lifting her chin up only slightly to show strength, "While we are exchanging thanks, I would like to thank you as well Prince Aldon for allowing me to join your journey to the castle and helping me when I became lost. 𝙲𝔯𝔬𝔴𝔫 𝙿𝔯𝔦𝔫𝔠𝔢 𝔬𝔣 𝚉𝔞𝔩𝔱𝔬 Aldon stepped back and listened to his sister. She was right they should've let her speak as she was the one addressed. He found himself laughing and reassured by the Emperors words saying that the two had made it out of the room without harm. Hearing him speak once more to tell them that a healer was going with regardless, especially since father would start a war if they did not arrive home safely. He laughed once more, it was true he could see their father doing just that. When the Emperor finished speaking he looked over at Kaiden who was clearly upset. He sighed, he so hated to see him upset. But before he could even make a decision on whether to reach over and comfort his brother Miss Aleksei had done so. Touching him so casually as if she was of high status and had the right to. His eyebrow twitched in anger at her blatant disrespect of protocol, especially in front of the Emperor. He would be lying if he said he wasn't relieved to hear she was staying in Lionis. Hearing her mention giving their parents time to prepare to receive a guest he smirked, it wouldn't only allow them time to prepare but give him time to leave before she got there. There seemed to be nothing wrong with this girl, and sure maybe over time he could learn to put up with her, but her blatant disregard for status and how to act annoyed him...maybe he was just being over protective and slightly hurt and jealous that it seemed that Kaiden was fond of her as his friend. He sighed, resigning to look away and down at the physician who had worked his way over to him and had already began stitching up his gash. Her clenched his teeth and bared the pain till it was over and the wound was wrapped once more. He walked over to Athena and her horse, looking up at her he smiled softly, "I do believe we have stayed long enough. Mother and father must be getting worried now." He turned to the Emperor and bowed once more, "I thank you for all your help and for your offer to house Miss Aleksei while she stays in Lionis. It was very kind of you. And it was great to see you. As I stated before you have our fealty and I only wished to give you my respects and I hope your reign is long and prosperous. Granted at the mention of their own father starting a war should anything happen to them on the trip home, she knew he wasn't going to try anything. Of course she could tell her dear older brother was upset and that her eldest one wanted to comfort him, but the fact that Ambrosia had beaten him to it annoyed him. Well perhaps that and how casual she was with them in front of the emperor, but in truth she found it refreshing. Aldon's voice however brought her back to the present time and she gave silent nod in agreement. Of course if the emperor wished for them to stay longer, they wouldn't have much of a choice in the matter and have to accept his hospitality. Even she would rather get home as soon as possible in order to voice her thoughts on the whole marriage request that had been made.

Kaiden then sighs as he listens to Ambrosia's words which made him calm only slightly then he said,"Alright Ambrosia but do be careful.." Crys flaps her wings she soon flies away from the group as she headed back home but then Kaiden removes his hand from Ambrosia in a gentle matter then he faces the Emperor then he bows toward him,"We shall be heading home sire, thank you for taking time on seeing us on short notice.." then he stood up straight as Isara walks over to him then he turns around as he reaches out to feel for Isara's saddle and reigns.
As he felt the reigns, he held on to them then he got on the saddle as Isara steps back a little as she turns herself around and she faces the gate as Kaiden waited for his siblings to leave for home but he did not turn his head as he remains facing forward toward the gate as his eyes remained closed, he just wanted to leave this place and head back home and start training to get his mind off of today.

It will be a glorious occasion for the Kingdom" he said to them as he looked at the Physician, he would whisper to the man "When you arrive be sure to speak to the King as to why you have come" he said to him and when the Physician nodded his head Azazel would look at Aldon "May the gods grant you speed and safe travel" he said to him. He would wait a few moments before he would look over at Ambrosia "My lady" he said as he would offer her his hand "We have a lovely garden on the grounds and a beautiful courtyard full of flowers that may be to your likeing" he said to her with a small smile on his face "Come, I will escort you around the grounds Miss Aleksei" he said.

He then turned and watched as his brother said his goodbye to Ambrosia and then to the Emperor. He bowed once more to the Emperor before climbing up onto Athena's horse with her. "We shall be making a quick leave then sire. And we look forward to the joining of our houses as well." He looked at Ambrosia and nodded his head, "Stay safe, it would upset those who care for you if harm was to come of you. We look forward to your visit." he said in way of goodbye, his jaw tensed ever so slightly at the visiting part, but he knew that even if he wasn't fond of her, she was probably good for their family...or at least for Kaiden. With all said and done he took the reigns and started heading towards the gate. It was hard for her, she had never really had many friends growing up and the ones she did all managed to perish during the eruption. She kept a bright smile on her face even though her eyes threatened to tear as she waved enthusiastically at the siblings as they departed. Rascal ran after Kaiden and trotted along beside him his head and tail low, knowing they were leaving. A few moments went by and she stopped waving, Rascal ran back over to her and she welcomed him into a hug. Letting go once the Emperor spoke again. Regaining her control of herself she smiled softly, accepting his hand as a soft color of pink laid across her cheeks at the touch. She couldn't help her excitement at the mention of a garden, and her eyes lit up her smile becoming much more genuine and warm. "Really? With the lack of a better word he morphed back into the normally friendly guard he was on the surface. " You're not one for words, huh?" he asked as if he hadn't noticed. It was odd to see someone signing, the last person he had known who signed had been a deaf old man back in the slums, not that he had spent much time with him. " Not that I'm judging" he said at last. Although it was still poor he could see the feminine boy a lot better, Watchdog would pause every once and a while to ensure they were still behind him, and he only grew more uneasy as they neared the castle. " Have you ever been inside the castle before?" he asked Irulan, although he highly doubted it, he was mostly making small talk to be friendly and to keep his mind from drifting back to the unease he felt heavily in his stomach. ^ ^ ^

Hands moved quickly, hindered by the objects they held. "No." He answered shortly, not bothering to delve into a long explanation. Besides, if Cecil were to find out that he was a slave, Zigfried's legacy would be in trouble. So a short, vague answer was best. Although there seemed to be more questions coming. Why was the guard being so... Chatty all of a sudden? Irulan shook his head. He had never seen the inside of any castle. Nor has he been taken to one before. Obviously whomever he was seeing was royalty. That was the only logical conclusion. Anyone else wouldn't risk doing anything untoward right under the emperor's nose. In his own home. The slave frowned, sensing Cecil's unease. What was wrong? Despite this Cecil found himself enjoying the silent companion and not getting grilled with questions. " The castle's pretty amazing" he admitted with a sheepish smile " Not that I've been everywhere in it, not yet at least, but I've seen some pretty beautiful things" he admitted. His mind was on the fact that the Emperor and his son had returned from war made it all the more hard on the normally easy going man. " Those are pretty fans, by the way" he said mildly as if he had just noticed the fans in the better lighting. Cecil waved to a pair of guards who wandered by, they nodded to him and cast amused glances at Irulan, but neither challenged him as they approached the doors. ^ ^ ^

The male was growing increasingly suspicious of this friendly guard. Nobody was this pleasant without an ulterior motive. He gazed up at the castle as they approached and was unable to help the smile that spread across his features. It was so big! Maybe he could go and hide on the roof one day. Great heights always made him feel at ease. "My fans? Oh... Thank you...?" After signing a response he slid the fans back into their designated pockets. Maybe he wouldn't need them. Irulan frowned when the guards let them pass without question, confirming his suspicions. They would be seeing one (or more) of the royal family. "Who are we seeing? Don't lie." He inquired mutely, lowering his gaze to the ground. He knew he was at least safe at the castle so long as he stayed on the good side of the royal family and the other guards. When Irulan replaced the fans and thanked him for the compliment he offered a smile. That was until he asked about who they were really seeing and he asked not to be lied too. Cecil was an awful liar and even if he got away with lying it would only serve to make whatever was coming towards him worse. Rather he turned his gaze away from Irulan so he couldn't see the blush creeping over his cheeks again as he said " Our crown prince Valter Drosselmeyer" he hooked his hands behind his back and continued forward trying to appear relaxed when really he wanted to get inside as quickly as possible. Watchdog he disappeared into a sewer grate and would mostly reappear after they entered the castle again. " He's requested company for the night of his return" he said mildly. Cecil was struggling to keep his face calm but he couldn't help but offer an uneasy smile " We don't want to keep him waiting" he said as he picked the pace up a bit, in reality he would be the one taking the punishment if Valter had to wait long, even more so if the emperor caught wind of who he was bringing into the castle. ^ ^ ^

Watchdog had disappeared from sight and Irulan only hoped that they would see him once more when they reached the inside of the castle. He seemed to relax a little when the name of who they were to see came up. At least the guard was telling the truth. Most wouldn't. "The crown prince? I've heard of him." Most women cursed the name behind closed doors and openly feared him. Irulan wasn't scared. And he didn't particularly care what was done to him. All he cared about was the money. "He intimidates you." He observed, stepping inside the large doors that made the entrance to the castle. Irulan seemed to be opening up a little more now, speaking more.
