Aaron looked at the structure, rubbing the back of his neck. "Ahahah...oops..." he said, looking around to see if he could spot a cavern nearby as the rain started.

Anita looked at her destroyed monument in tears, falling to her knees as she watched the rest of it collapse, "But... I worked so hard on it..."

Aaron...Overshoot!Steffychan19 ...looking around to see if he could spot a cavern nearby as the rain started. Aaron, feeling the rain hit the back of his neck as he rubbed it, decided it was high time to get to shelter and to get to shelter fast. Wasting no time, he looked about for some sort of cave or something. Anything to get out of this storm. Fortunately, he found a convenient cave entrance fairly nearby to the monument-camp. He entered the cave mouth and turned his head to shout "Hey, I found a-" That was all he managed to say before he tripped on rock and tumbled headfirst down a steep incline shortly into the cave. Aaron suffers a minor wound!Anita...Roll to Dodge!The rain was really beginning to get heavy while Anita sobbed in front of her monument. Luckily, the trees and shattered monument sheltered her a little from the rain, so while wet, she wasn't soaked. Yet. What snapped her out from her sobs was hearing Aaron yelling something nearby. (I've updated the front page to include the two new locations)

"GYAH!" Aaron shouted as he tripped, tumbling down into the cave. He rolled to gets on his knees, though he suffered a small scrape to his elbow. "Ow... Jeez, I am REALLY off my game today..." He looked around the cave, then poked his head out and waved his arms. "Hey! Over here! There's a cave!" he shouted.
(Rolling for his shout, to see if she'll be able to hear it or not!)

Anita heard the scream about something, snapping her out of her depressed mood. She stood up and walked after the sound, listening for it so she could find him again.

Twisty CavernAaron...Epic Fail!Steffychan19 (Rolling for his shout, to see if she'll be able to hear it or not!) It really, really was not Aaron's day today. He popped his head out of the cavern, opened his mouth, breathed in ready for a yell and...inhaled a fly. He coughed and spluttered and his yell was more of a muffled whisper. The Untold ForestAnita...Epic Fail!PhantomJavon She stood up and walked after the sound, listening for it so she could find him again. Anita followed the sound of Aaron yelling. At least, she thought she did. Was there an echo here? Was it the thunder? She feared she would get hopelessly lost in the forest... Anita...Roll to Dodge!...which wasn't completely unfounded given the situation. Nevertheless, despite the rain, the flashes of lightning and the complete lack of a bearing, Anita somehow managed to find the cavern mouth. Miserable and wet, Anita trudged into the cavern. -1 to next roll!(Looks like even the none-super-bad rolls are poor this round...)

Aaron choked on a fly, then spat on the floor, getting the fly out of his throat somehow. He gasped and wheezed, keeping his hand on his chest. "J-jeez...that...that hurt..." he said hoarsely. Then he looked around, looking for any source of fuel for a good campfire.
(I know. : P)

Anita looked dazed and confused, looking around the dark cave. She did not notice her new friend nearby, so continued to look around for him as she was worried about him and the fact that she was now alone in such a place.

Aaron...Partial success!Steffychan19 ...he looked around, looking for any source of fuel for a good campfire. Aaron found some kindling which looked like it had been abandoned by a previous attempt at camping. Unfortunately, it was fairly damp. He was fairly sure he could start a fire with it anyway, but it would take considerable effort. Anita...Perfect Success!PhantomJavon ...so continued to look around for him... (With your -1 to the roll. Shame because I liked the idea that more slapstick with Aaron was about to happen :p) Anita felt her panic rising through both the unfamiliar surroundings and the worry for her new friend. She took a moment to catch her breath and looked around. She realised that, from here at least, there wasn't a lot of places he could have gone, unless he had decided to charge off blindly exploring the cavern, which she doubted. She felt a little more confident and pressed on. Sure enough, she found him a very short way into the cavern and, even better, he had found some kindling! Anita felt an intense relief wash over her. +1 to next roll!

Anita laughed to herself and rushed over to Aaron, "Aaron! Thank goodness I found you! I thought you might have gotten rushed away by the deluge. Here let me help with the fire, I got some snacks we can warm up with it." She pulled out her bag and started sharpening one of the sticks nearby to prepare it to heat up some of her salted meat.

(Sorry it's taken so long to reply...busy work.. ;-; )
He sighed as he found the kindling, and gratefully handed it off to Anita when she joined him. "Thank you. I feel like if I were to try to start a fire, I'd end up doing something stupid... I seem to be having terrible luck today." he said, rubbing the back of his head. Then he smiled and pulled out some bread and cheese from his back. "I've got some snacks too." He glanced at his small wound. "I should probably patch this up first..." he said, trying to take care of his wound.
(....I quit. >.> Seriously? Come on, dice....)

Anita...Success!PhantomJavon ...started sharpening one of the sticks nearby to prepare it to heat up some of her salted meat. Anita sharpened her stick well enough to easily skewer the meat. She began to cook with no further issues. Aaron...Epic Fail!(Don't worry, work and Christmas would be enough to keep anyone busy smile ) Steffychan19 "I should probably patch this up first..." he said, trying to take care of his wound. Aaron shouted in alarm. He had failed to notice that his pack of snacks had split open and something very, very salty had spilled all over his bandages. The pain was intense, but, luckily, the wound was well on its way to recovery. Not that it felt like it at the time. Wound healed! -1 to next roll!(You've had some stick with the rolls eek )
