Veronica rushed right over to Brixos as he stepped out of the ring. She had a big smile on her face and was patting him on the shoulder, in an almost friendly manner. "Nicely done." She said, actually sounding genuine as she congratulated him for the fight. Without any name calling or any sort of patronizing tone or derogative gesture, it appeared that she was actually trying to be friendly towards him. When really, she was just glad that she might actually get the chance to fight him. Even her friends looked to be a little confused by her actions. That was until she turned and the sweet smile on her face turned to something more sinister. Ronnie then made her way back to where she had been seated before, and continued to watch the next few rounds of fighting. None of them really piqued her interest, they were more or less just your standard fist fights, but she liked to keep track of how the tournament was going. The only other fight that seemed to actually interest her was the one between one of her gang members and another new kid.

There was no way of telling what race this kid was on his appearance alone, and Ronnie wasn't close enough to catch his scent. She knew that humans didn't take their class though, so he had to be some form of other humanoid race. Perhaps even another vampire, which would explain why he didn't even make an attempt to move when the vampire charged him. The moment she saw the vampires fist go right through him however, her eyes widened and she immediately jumped to her feet. 'It can't be...' Ronnie then watched in horror as the creature pulled the vampire into some form of kiss. Only she knew it wasn't really a kiss. 'Why did it have to be a slime!? This could ruin everything...' Veronica slumped back down into her chair, and tried her best to recompose herself as she watched her vampire friend drop to the ground unconscious. The slime had likely nearly killed him by sucking the liquids out of his body. Fortunately for him the teacher had intervened, but the redhead didn't care about any of that at the moment. This new student was threatening her chances of maintaining her champion title.

Holding the title for so long, and being known as the toughest in the school was part of the reason why everyone feared her so much, and if she lost that then she basically lost everything. Her whole reputation was on the line. If she came up against that slime, which it was likely she would since they were practically invincible, then she had to do whatever it took to win. 'Whatever it takes.' She repeated to herself in her head over and over again as she made her way up to the ring for her fight. Her opponent was no match for her, and even in her distracted state she had no trouble dodging all of their attacks with her inhuman speed, and throwing the other student around the ring without much effort. The fight ended almost as soon as it had begun.

Veronica was so enthralled with her own thoughts that she had forgotten about her friend that had fallen unconscious in the ring, and didn't even notice when Brixos announced that he was going to take the vampire to the nurses office before doing exactly that. The only thing that snapped her back to reality was when the bell rang, sounding the end of physical education class. That was when she realized that her friend was missing, and so was the Mutt. She still had other classes to attend however, so she wasn't going to bother trying to find him. She did decide to make a quick stop at the nurses office, to see if her friend was there. After making sure that her comrade was okay and being taken care of, Veronica left to finish off the rest of the school day.

After the final bell rang, ending the school day Veronica separated from her gang and started making her way home. She was planning on meeting up with them again later, but first she wanted to go home and get changed out of the ridiculous, and in her opinion entirely unnecessary, school uniform. As she was walking, she noticed Brixos walking along on the other side of the street. But rather than going after him, she decided to simply ignore him. Now that she wasn't at school and around her friends, there wasn't as much pressure to be so tough all the time. There wasn't anyone else around that she really needed to show off in front of anyway.

Veronica's ears could pick up the faint sound of footsteps behind her, yet every time she turned around to see who it was, there was no one there. She knew she was being followed by someone though. When she looked over to the other side of the street, she noticed Brixos had suddenly disappeared. What a coincidence, that she would suddenly start being stalked by someone the same time he went out of sight. Ronnie chuckled quietly to herself and continued on walking, pretending as though she didn't know tat he was following her. She was planning to lead him down some quieter streets, until she found a place they could be alone before she confronted him. Before she had the chance however, she heard him call out to her. The redhead grinned and stopped walking, giving him sometime to catch up. The poor, naive little pup actually thought she wanted to be his friend.

When the Mutt finally caught up to her, the grin on her face changed to resemble the sweet smile she had expressed earlier at the gym when she had gone over to congratulate him for his victory against the lamia. Seeing his extended hand, she smiled even more and accepted his offer. At first it was nothing more than a simple handshake, but over time he would feel her grip get tighter and tighter. "You seem to have mistaken me for someone who cares, Mutt." She muttered while pulling him closer and continuing to tighten her grip to the point where her nails began to cut into his skin. "Let's get one thing straight, shall we? I'm not interested in being your friend. The only reason I was happy to see you victorious is because the longer you stay in the tournament, the better the chance I will have at being able to crush you." She said with a chuckle, her voice taking on a malicious tone. She was still smiling as sweetly as before, which probably only made her seem more psychotic.

Veronica laughed even louder when she heard his whimpers and saw his tailed tucked in between his legs. His attempt to pull his hand away was amusing. He didn't even put any force behind it. Which meant he was either a wimp, or just the type of person that didn't like hurting others. Which was practically the same thing in her opinion. The smell of blood filled the air, and the vampire took a big whiff, a wide grin growing on her face. Oh how she loved to torment him. He always made it so easy. Hearing his plea for her to release his hand only made her dig her nails in deeper for a minute, before she finally did let go. Her laughing came to a cease when she heard a voice from behind her. Ronnie turned her head to see who it was, and the instant she saw that it was the slime her eyes went wide. Of all the people or creatures it could have been, it just had to be the slime, and right when she was alone too without her friends around to back her up.

The redhead clenched her fists tightly. She knew she wouldn't be able to take on the slime. All the physical strength in the world would have no affect on them, because they didn't have a solid body. Any attacks would go right through them. Of course, she did have a few other vampiric abilities, but again, none of them were very effective against a slime. The feeling of being powerless was infuriating. Veronica glared harshly at the other student, as if she were trying to will her to combust. Unfortunately she didn't have such power, but it was nice to imagine it at least. She couldn't even stop her when she reached into her bag and stole one of her blood lollipops. "I have more important things to be doing. I look forward to the chance at fighting you in the tournament though." Ronnie replied after a long silence, trying her best not to show that she was intimidated in any way, as she turned to walk away.

Veronica had turned to leave, but after hearing the slime's comment, she couldn't help but respond. Even the suggestion of that whelp beating her was enough to tick her off. "There is no way this Mutt would have a chance at beating me." She growled while turning around just in time to see the slime burning off his shirt, and then the bandage on his chest, leaving him completely topless. She noticed his other wounds had been healed too, which was rather disappointing. She had put a lot of effort into giving him those injuries. At least with the bandages gone from his face she could clearly see the blush he had from being shirtless in public, so she could get a little kick out of that, while snickering quietly to herself. With his shirt being gone, she also got to see that even for his slim physique, he was pretty well toned. He obviously worked out, that along with his natural werewolf strength would mean he stood a fairly good chance at beating her, and she knew that. But even though she may not look it, she was incredibly strong herself, that came mainly from being born into a long line of pure bloods.

Ronnie was about to say more when she felt a burning sensation begin to creep up in the back of her throat. She placed a hand to her neck and gasped softly. It was a sign that she was beginning to get hungry. It was around about the time she would normally feed after school. She usually did so at home, but after being delayed by the werewolf and his slimey new friend, she was running late. If she left it any longer then she could end up causing herself to fall into a mild state of blood-lust, and that wouldn't be good for anyone, especially any humans. She quickly reached into her bag and pulled out one of her last blood lollipops. It wouldn't do much to quell her thirst, but it should be enough to hold her over until she got home. She quickly tore off the wrapped and placed the lollipop into her mouth, letting out a quiet satisfied hum as she did so. By that time Brixos and Addison had already begun to leave, not that she noticed or cared. She was too focused on trying to figure out a way she could get home quickly enough to find something decent to feed on, which would probably end up being one of the many human servants they had working at her home. She figured the quickest way would be to fly, since that would offer her the straightest route home, so she sprouted herself a pair of large, bat-like wings and took off into the sky.

Veronica made it back to her house in a matter of minutes, and flew straight through one of the open up stairs window. As she came in to land on the floor, she transformed back into her humanoid form. Her transformation usually didn't take much energy out of her, but seeing as she had already been hungry when she first transformed, she was even hungrier when she transformed back. She didn't bother going to the kitchen to get a blood pack, instead she sunk her fangs into the neck of the first human servant she came across. Her father usually didn't like her feeding off of them, but he should really expect it if he was going to have them in the house. By the time she was finished feeding, the servant had fainted from blood loss. Ronnie carried them to one of the spare rooms and lay them down. She had decided that she didn't want to meet up with her friends anymore, so she sent them all a text to let them know, then she decided to turn in for the night, even though it was still pretty early.

The next morning Veronica got up before the dawn, so she would have some time to squeeze in a sparing session with her father before she went to school. This was tradition for her during the tournament, and it was especially important for her now with two new strong students in the school. It also helped her to release a lot of her pent up frustration, which usually put her in a pretty reasonable mood. This day was different however, it would take a lot more than a quick spar with her father to help her ease the frustration she was feeling after running into the slime the day before. Her mood only got worse when she actually got to school though and she locked eyes on the Mutt and the Slime. Even the sight of them irked her, and especially seeing them together as friends made her blood boil. Unfortunately, because she wasn't able to mess with the kid while his bodyguard was hanging around, it meant that other students had to feel the sting of her wrath.

"Hey, Brixos!" Lucas called out to the werewolf. He was still pretty bruised and battered from being beaten, and was walking with a pretty severe limp, so it took him awhile to actually catch up to the kid. His voice had also caught Ronnie's attention, and seeing him completely ignoring her threat from the day before, only angered her even more. It had barely been twenty four hours since the Mutt had arrived, and he was already beginning to mess up her entire life. So far, she had lost one friend because of him, and with the way things were going, it looked like it was only going to get worse.

"Oh nah don't worry about me Brix. This is nothing. I've seen Ronnie and her disciples do worse, I actually got off pretty lucky. It's hard to believe she was once a sweet little girl. At least that's what I heard anyway." Lucas replied with a chuckle and a smile, trying to play it off like it was nothing, despite being in a lot of pain. "I actually wanted to say thank you for sticking up for me before, and you know...That other thing." He muttered the last part quietly, referring back to when the werewolf had literally begged Veronica not to harm him. "You're pretty cool, and I was actually wondering if you wanted to be friends." Lucas suggested while nervously rubbing the back of his head. He wasn't sure if the kid would want to be friends, but he figured it was worth a shot anyway. Before he could get an answer though, his attention was snatched away by the very attractive looking girl that was with him.

He hadn't seen her around the school before, so he guessed she was probably new like Brixos. He also had no idea what kind of creature she was, so of course he had no idea that the she he was looking at wasn't technically a she and had a male form as well. When she made her comment about him being cute, Lucas laughed and flashed her a charming smile. "You're pretty fine yourself." He replied, with a flirtatious wink. The feeling of Addison's hands on his skin made him shudder slightly, because it tickled. It was a little weird and the burning sensation wasn't very nice either, but he didn't mind it. She was hot! When she suggested that they go somewhere more private, the vampire only grinned even more. "Lead the way." He replied with a nod, even before he heard Brixos assure him that he could trust the slime.

Veronica was sucking on another blood lollipop while she watched from afar as Brixos, Addison, and Lucas interacted. She wondered what they could be talking about, but she was too far away to hear. From the way that the slime was rubbing her hands over Lucas' body, she figured she must of been healing him like she had done with Brixos the night before. She snickered quietly to herself when she remembered how embarrassing that had been for the boy when he lost his shirt. She had been hoping for something like that to happen to the vampire as well, unfortunately the slime seemed to be taking more care in what she was doing. Which was a shame, really.
