Chiara! Thankfully that was SOMEONE he recognized! Zariah brightened and moved to near her, balking when he saw her grab the other girl.A yellowblood. A really....cute yellowblood. A really cute yellowblood that she was smiling rather happily at. Zariah drew his hood up and over his head as he chewed his bottom lip. She must be interesting to get Chiara's fickle attention. Damn her....she could've at least given him a PROPER answer to his confession...why did she have to be SO HARD to talk to PROPERLY?! Was he going to have to anger her into another fist fight to actually TALK? He didn't want that to be their relationship but it seemed to be the only way to actually get anything out of her!

He shook his head and set a frown on his face. There was research he could.....SHOULD be doing, not pining over a certain foolish blueblood. He needed to get his information CHANGED. He needed to be able to go out in public again....maybe figure out how to fix Kei's stupid mess as well. Their safety was FAR more important than some stupid feelings with a certain similarly stupid blueblood. He knew full well he couldn't pose as Chleio forever....

Chiara left Elidae to whatever she ended up doing. The yellow blood wasn't giving her much of a reaction and the blueblood hungered for. "Well Elidae, looks like your doing fine, it was a pleasure to work with you!" Chiara gave the troll a friendly pat on the back and went to go inspect what else there was to do.

The blueblood walked past "Zariah", but the orangeblood looked like he was pretty invested in whatever it was he was up to. She would bug him later, she still felt a weird flutter in her grub digestor when she thought too hard about the boy. It was better to just ignore the feeling until it went away, right? Besides, here was a pack of drones just falling over themselves to be bossed around by a highblood like her. Chiara was all for complying with that, and grinned as the drones scattered to fallow out her orders.

Why was she so close to the yellowblood? Why was she touching her so much? Was she flushed for another troll? He felt sick. He knew full well how fickle she was....why would he bother spending so much time on such a foolish troll. Ugh! Just thinking about her even made working difficult! But really, shouldn't she be more interested in him ONCE AGAIN sneaking into a government facility? She always seemed so excited after the fact, shouldn't catching him in the act make it even MORE interesting to her? Zariah gave his head a quick shake. No, he knew better. He had things to do, things that DIDN'T require her attentions. After all, if he was going to get himself altered in the system he needed to do it fast....preferably BEFORE garnering the attention of any high ranked trolls...maybe it was a good thing she was the only troll that seemed to notice him.

Tonight, Psykgi was at her perky best, flitting around the workspaces and being as supportive a redblood as she possibly could be. ”Well gosh, you're doing such a great job with that computer there!” she chirped to a young and handsome orangeblood (Zariah). She brought fresh-baked doughnuts to a harried researcher. She smiled and waved and schmoozed with funders and more or less brilliant minds (in the company of other more or less brilliant minds, of course). She even waved to Chiara, who she knew severely disliked her, but what was she to do about that? A little bit of jealousy was part of a healthy troll relationship, after all, and would be motivating besides.

After a whirlwind of encouragement, however, Psykgi found herself coming to ground somewhere near a bevy of computer terminals. ”Whew!” she said, brushing her intricately dyed hair back with a hand. What a rush this was, playing around in such high society, moving people like very complicated chess pieces, helping them be the best that they could be. She sent Eridia a text, half questioning and half taunting, before resting against a wall.

Well. she thought, What shall I do next?

"You," said Chiara as she came over to Psykgi, "Should come help me move some stuff." The blueblood steered the redblood over to a bunch of boxes of supplies, a bit out of the way of other trolls.

"So," Chiara started as she maneuvered Psykgi's back to a wall, grinning with sharp teeth. "Eridia has just captured your little bloodpumper, hasn't she?" Chiara stepped back. giving the redblood a little breathing room. "Well im here to say you've got my support. Im not interested in Eridia's red feelings, im just interested in her well being. And who has a higher chance of hurting her than someone she might actually care about?" Chiara held her hand out to the redblood in truce. "So, as long as Eridia stays in good health and mind, lets be friends. Because face it, Eridia inspires a lot of... emotion in other trolls, sure sometimes pink feeling, but often times black ones as well. She will need her red partner to have her back. Do you think your actually capable of that?" The blueblood arched and eyebrow. If Psykgi backed down she was definitely not good enough for Chiara's best friend, but if she stood her ground, what was the harm in a little, test, to see if she was good enough?

Chiara's approach was very sudden and not really expected, but Psykgi was game for anything, even moving crates which was a little beneath her intellectual capabilities. However, she was a lot stronger than she looked - One had to be, with an axe as a favored weapon - and she didn't mind doing a few physical pursuits to keep in shape.

Of course, she was expecting a very interesting trap. It would have been insulting to expect anything less of someone of Eridia's... or, Chiara's... caliber. Exactly what form the trap would take, she didn't know, but when she was forced with her back to the wall, she was not surprised. Nor was she surprised that Chiara was talking to her about Eridia, either - that was, after all, the source of their discord, was it not? Possible Auspice-requiring material, that.

However, the nature of the conversation was unexpected."Why, thank you!" she said. She did appreciate support and contacts and connections of all sorts, especially high blooded canny ones like Chiara. She made an interesting enemy. She made a valuable... ally. Friend... was a stretch. "You don't need to worry." she said, taking Chiara's hand and fully fully expecting one of those annoying buzzers at any moment as she shook it, "Ah, but you have us mis-quadranted! We're black, not red."

... What was that incredulity about? Psykgi raised an eyebrow in turn, but was soon distracted by a tour in the facility. Ooo, a celebrity. Wouldn't that be a fine catch for the Civisect side?
"See you later~" she said to Chiara, sidling off to schmooze and sweet talk the fine tealblood troll... and his very highblooded companions.

Psykgi watched them carefully, supporting the tour guide as they made their rounds, being as infectiously cheerful and convincing as she could. If she slipped in a few good words here and there about the rehabilitation center and the wonderful work being done there, well, who was to care? The group left with big smiles and promises of beetles, and Psykgi knew she'd done a good job. She could get used to this, and to Ma'am's pleased chittering in her ear and, well, all around her as she swept back towards where she'd left the blueblood.

"Heeey, so." She said, discreetly sizing Chiara up,
"Want to go raid the opposition?" Truth be told, she could use a little fighting practice, and it wouldn't hurt to show some strength in front of a graceful predator such as Chiara...
