He crossed his arms "It was probably an illusion! I don't believe it. Magic has no use in society... or in my life. I have to get accepted to a Univeristy... thats the only thing I'm focused on." That was more his parents plan than his... since his failure at sports ruined their famous athlete plans now they had moved on to academics. He was to be a doctor which required excellent grades. His grandparents had always argued that they put too much pressure on Torin to be perfect and Kyo suggested they let him do something he loved. They had sneered at that suggestion saying he would love being a doctor and the prestige that came with it. Torin liked the thought of helping people so he agreed to the doctor plan much to Alice and Kyo's dispointment. They thought he'd fight for something different... but Torin wasn't sure what that would be. Besides it was a sensible plan... he'd be happy with it... wouldn't he?

He shrugged, shifting his gaze to stare out the window "Sure... as long as it doesn't interfere with my studies. My parents won't be pleased if that happens"

::Chris sits in the study of his "summer" house, waiting for Charli to return from her first day of school. time had passed blissfully quiet. perhaps the child would be able to last for a few days before finding the worng person to upset. Chris had aged well over the years, even now people had a hard time beliving that sixteen year old Charli was his grandaughter. he looked to be at least fifteen years younger than he was and was throughly fit. his blonde hair however had given way to snow whiteness::
