Ooc: I do not know much about Harems so forgive me if I make a mistake in this post. Company: Harem & Dingi Thought: How is this day going to be? Mood: Normal Attire: Casual Islamic Wear ≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎ ==== ✹ ==== ≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎
Sohrab nodded when Dingi explained who Nayu is. Sohrab was still skeptical of the whole 'God' joke that had been bestowed on him, but seeing that snake kind of got him to realize this place is not something for the human eye. So Sabih was a healer? That would be useful...especially in situations where first aid was needed pronto. He did give Dingi an annoyed look when Dingi told him that pure black and one color was boring. "And that's your choice, I just like the color black..."
The descriptions between restricted and unrestricted were clear......barely. "Soooo....the only difference is...is that unrestricted can be used for whatever the person wants and restricted just.......I'll find out on my own."
Then came the description of Zmeya, the goddess in which Sabih was most fearful of. Dingi, though she wasn't his type, was a strong ally and can produce beautiful and skilled children. "Do you really want a snake around that is close to eating your friend and maybe the entire harem?" He had to ask as he then could see that slowly all the girls were done with eating and doing their daily routine. He decided he should get up. "Guess it's time for me to go start the day." He stood up and walked out, knowing there will be stuff needed to be done.
What was his purpose being here? He thought about what the red-headed girl said. They were hired for different purposes; belly dancing, cooking, seeing, music....Sohrab did not have any of them. All he had was the ability to study, learn quickly, and speak/write/read multiple languages such as English, Arabic, Chinese, and Spanish. During the day, Sohrab did the chores all the girls could not do which was labor, cleaning labor anyways. Since Sohrab had used the jail's exercise room to get some strength, he easily did the duties of cleaning up in rooms and the dishes that was from breakfast. Often or not, he did small errands around. That has gotten him a few smirks from the girls who belonged to the harems . "I don't see what use she is to our Master, how embarrassing." Sohrab had to maintain his cool though as he kept going with the work.
After that, it was break time...or lunchtime. So at the first minute he had gone to the library, as directed by one of the girls, to get himself a book. He returned to where the girls ate with the book in his arms as he got his servings and sat at the farthest corner, planning on reading the book. He did wonder when that red-headed girl would bother him, but he hoped she didn't. He needed some peace and quiet. Reading a book and eating was that ideal peace and quiet.

"Don't found out too personally." Dingi chuckled a little, secretly plannin to fill Abira's room with only colorful clothing, just to spite her. That could be quite fun, but annoying as well and the more the Prince thought about it, the more he talked himself out of it.
He shrugged his shoulders. "I am sure I were to wed her, there'd be rules. I don't particularly like her, but the strength may be needed..." He watched the woman get up and he nodded to her. "Be well." He called to her and watched her walk out. While the girls were all starting to get ready for the day, Dingi was still sitting with Sabin. After about fifteen minutes alone, just sititng, letting the eunuch sleep, Dingi started to get up, bringing the still dead asleep Sabin with him.
Dingi's morning was relatively uneventful. He spent most of his time outside and in the garden. By the time lunch rolled round and most of the girls went to eat, Dingi and Sabin were still in the garden, which most of the windows opened up to. There were three women from the harem that were with him, each carrying baskets as Dingi went around and picked fruits and veggies to put in the baskets. Even unripe food was picked and as they graced Dingi's hand, they'd turn the perfect color to be picked and given out. The garden was quite large, and had many fruits and veggies to offer. Over and over again the baskets were filled with fresh food. It is rare that a palace offers their towns people anything, let alone food. This was something unique that Dingi enjoyed doing for his people.
Sabin still looked half asleep, he was dazed, confused, and he stared into the windows of the palace, hoping to get a glimpse of people he could make weird faces at, which he was pretty good at, scaring people away from the windows because it looked like he had a wee bit of the fever in the brain.

As he ate, he soon realized something was wrong with the harem. A lot of girls seem to be cautious or a little scared. Sohrab knew he needed to find out why so after gobbling down the food, he picked up the book he was reading and went to a group of girls who are neutral in his perspective. "Hey, what's with the other girls looking like they saw a monster?" One of the girls with short bobbed hair replied, We are starting to notice that some of the girls are missing, especially our mealtimes when everyone shows up." Sohrab turned his head back and forth to try to count everyone here, but this was his first day so he cannot be sure if he knew how many girls were here. "How do you know that maybe they are late? Maybe something happened?"
"Because one of my friends here I had not seen for three days without explanation."
fair enough Sohrab thought as he did a small thanks to the girl before walking off to go take a self-your around the place. He did notice Dingi and Sabih were out in the gardens with other women, getting some food out. "Interesting..." He thought as he soon stared at Sabih who made a weird face at him. That got Sohrab to raise a brow, even though he didn't know Sabih well, that seemed out of character. So with that, Sohrab decided to go back to his room to get the Hijab out of his neck as it turned out to be bothersome. He decided to read his book on the bed as it was peaceful in here. Although with the missing girls, he wondered if he should do an investigation....to see if there was a connection of sorts. "Sabih did say I have no curfew, so tonight I'll see what I can find."

Sabin nearly split a gut laughing at how Abira just walked away, not finding him funny at all. He didn't seem tic are that the female didn't find it amusing, that face of hers is what made Sabin laugh. Dingi looked up to the Windows to see no one was there. "Ya a bit touched?" Dingi asked his friend who just laughed. Dingi slapped Sabin upside the head and the white haired male slapped the princes abs, then a little petty slap fight happened and Sabin took off running.
This was a sort of game to them and as Sabin ran, Dingi followed close behind. The two made such a ruckus running through the palace, even past the king and queen. They were like young boys again. Near every great hall was ran in and the harem no exception. Down the hall, past Abiras room and down the hall. Sabin started to go left. Opposite of their rooms when Dingi grabbed Sabin by the hair, which made him Yelp, loudly. "Sorry!" Dingi said, his tone turning to a whisper. "Ya know you're not allowed down there, do you want to get yourself killed?" Dingi said. The eunech whine and took off again, down towards their rooms this time, Dingi close behind. These two were not lovers, it was obvious, but more like siblings... And children.

Sohrab had his plan figured out which meant he needed to get his phone prepared. By that, it meant he needed to make sure the flashlight on the phone would work. As he was doing that, he heard running from down the hall. He would've ignored it until he heard them coming again. He sighed as he opened his door to go to the people. "Is it even allowed to-?"
WHAM!
Sohrab was knocked out of his feet by two people he soon was able to identify as Dingi and Sabih who looked like they were playing a simple game of tag. Sohrab groaned as he sat on the floor with his back against the wall. "This day cannot be normal can they?" He groaned as he got up and rubbed his shoulders since it did hit the wall. "Sabih making faces and the two guys I am under playing a child's game...what's next?" He knew he had cursed himself just saying that but he did wonder what more can be done to make things even more weird. Not even seeing if the men stopped, he got back to his room to continue on preparing for the investigation. Getting out his luggage, he decided maybe a bath would do. So getting out shampoo, conditioner, and body-wash, he now had to figure out where to go from his room.
After a bit of questioning, he found the baths girls are allowed to use. Trying to find a private one. He stripped out of the clothes, including the 'strapless female bra for men' before dipping into the bath, steam filled the room which made him relax. "I guess this is a nice benefit to be here away from home."

The answer: no, never normal. In a world of gods, demons, and snakes that eat cute eunuchs, no. No normal. Everyone in half the building could hear the two shouting and screaming at each other. Even the night time couldn't stop their yelling. Though there was nights in most of the halls since no one was really in them, the two seemed just fine with glowing eyes.
Sohrab should never have felt relaxed. The moment his eyes were to close for more than two seconds, when he'd reopen them that strange shadow of Dingi's would be at the other end of the large bath area, crouching down, and staring, directly at Sohrab. He brought a finger to his covered lips, as if saying he'd keep the secret. But maybe he wasn't there at all, for even a blink after, he would be gone. maybe it was just the steam and shadows playing tricks, who knows.

When Sohrab opened his eyes, his face soon met up with a shadow. Even if it was Dingi, Sohrab screamed so loudly that it might as well be a girl's ear-piercing scream. "HOLY F*CKING S**T, GO AWAY YOU PERVERTED MOTHERF***ER!" He threw something considered to be a weapon at where the shadow was. His screams caught the attention of some concerned women, who saw 'Abira' dipped into the water, only the head was showing. Since the women were paranoid, they immediately assumed the disappearances happened at the bathhouse so now the women decided to never bathe alone.
Thankfully Sohrab's clothes were hidden and the girls went away so that he could change back. With his hair dried off with a towel, he went back to his room to wait until everything calmed down and most girls were asleep. Sohrab came out of his room with his phone to light up the hallways. He needed to do an investigation of the place, which included the inside and the outside of the castle. "What did the girls have in common?" He had muttered to himself.
Before going to his room, he had decided to ask the girls on what the missing girls had in common, it seemed to be that the girls were all Bals; the unrestricted and that before they left, it was when they needed to be by themselves. Sohrab nodded as he then went through the hallway, hearing nothing going on so he got to outside, only hearing the wind blowing as he walked cautiously down to where he had access to. He then wondered if he could be bait, so he went to where he was isolated and then sat down on the grounds, with a book on him. "The girls....they were all bals....and they seem to be pretty girls.....once I hear a noise, I shall investigate and find out." He kept his phone's flashlight on as it went around the perimeter that surrounded him. He did wonder why they went missing, his first hypothesis was maybe jealously....like the snake girl didn't want to compete with the other women? Maybe it was a royal who wanted a girl but the girl denied and went crazy? So many theories.....

The shadow chuckled when Sohrab screamed like that, even when he was gone, the laughter lingered. It wasn't just the women that heard the shout. Dingi, though three floors up, could hear it. "Ah. I think they met shadow..." Dingi chuckled, rolling his eyes and going back to whatever weird game he was trying to figure out to play. It was common chess, and it was confusing the prince. Board games wern't his style, he liked physical games, something he can run around and smack Sabin in.
Sohrab was being stalked, it was just that simple. When he went outside, something, or should we say that shadow. was following him. The shadow thought that light was off, strange, as he hadn't seen a phone before, so the light was new too, and thus thought it was an evil device. As Sohrab sat down, the shadow got closer. He was too busy keeping people safe to notice any of them vanishing, so he was ov no use to the crossdresser and his goals. But that f-ing phone! He got up, reall close. It was easy because he /was/ a shadow. and he poked the phone light a few times while he sat a lantern to Sohrab's side and turned it on low. The glow was just enough to find the lantern, but cranked up it would give quite a bit of light, so for now... the shadow cracked and broke the phone light. One less thing to worry about! Its not like the item would have lasted long here anyways, there was only a few spots with electricity, and only one in the palace with the human plugs.

Sohrab kept on looking around as he started to hear rustling around on the grass fields. That got him on edge as he then saw a very dim light which got him to back off deftly. If he saw that light, it meant that he possibly found the culprit behind the missing girls! But then he saw that the light produced the shadow, looming over him as Sohrab gulped. He needed to defend himself! So with that he was about to move but the shadow moved faster and punched the phone, so hard that the light that had guided him shattered into pieces. "s**t!" He exclaimed as it was now very dark in the place, making it hard to see. His eyes could adjust but it could take awhile. Now he will need to get it replaced once home! And it will be an expensive one!
Sohrab now was pissed! So he maneuvered around to go and punch the assailant but it was to be dodged. Now with the light a little brighter, Sohrab soon saw it was that man from the dinner. The one Sabih said is so loyal to Dingi and rumored to be the lover. "Oh, you!" He grew frustrated as that meant the lead has been back to square one. "What? They said I had no curfew, and thanks for breaking the light from my phone!" He growled lightly as he knew it meant glass pieces were around here, Sohrab might have to warn Dingi of that so no one cuts their foot. "If you're this so-called 'Shadow', then you have to know about the missing girls right? Sabih did say you see everything."

Of course you couldn't punch a shadow, so Shadow couldn't be hit either. It was fun for the man to watch anyways. He moved in a way Sohrab would be lead away from the broken phone, but still in the light of the lantern the shadow had left. It would seem that the cross dresser was calmed down a little bit and Shadow stood there, watching Sohrab. The light was bright enough to see but Shadow stood right out of the ring of light and tilted his head. He looked like a beatn puppy with that tone being taken with him. His eyes, glassed over and looking to have no pupil, looked downward.
Shadow would not yell about curfew, or the item, in fact he didn't speak at all. He minded his feet and walked around Sohrab and as the question was asked, the Shadow brought his hand over the glass and broken phone. A ball of black gathered all the missing bits and glass and started to reconstruct the item. The shadow watched, and the orb was transparent enough that Sohrab could watch his phone being magically put back together in perfect working condition. But it wouldn't be Sohrabs anymore, it was the shadows, and when it was done fixing, Shadow gave it a once over before pocketing it, deeming it safe to at least carry. His attention went back to Sohrab. "They are safe and healthy while here. I do not care where they are. Once they have left the palace, I no longer see them." Shadow's voice was airy, soft and gentle.
There's something about the unknown, the quiet, the cold. There's something unspoken about the dark, something I can never quite put words to. Something terrifying, yet beautiful.

He had to raise a brow as this man somehow did his magic with no explanation, getting the glass put together like it had never been broken...and the light flickered on again. When Sohrab saw Shadow putting the phone in HIS pocket, Sohrab coughed. "HEY! That phone belongs to me!" His voice became demanding as the man was technically stealing. "I paid for it! So you need to give it back!" He got to the man and was almost getting agitated to the point a fist might be thrown...but then again....this man dodged so quickly from his last one.
"They are safe and healthy while here. I do not care where they are. Once they have left the palace, I no longer see them."
"So that's a no." Sohrab sighed out of frustration. "Here I go back to step one. Now, if you can give me back 'my' phone, I need to continue my investigation, seems like I am the only one who is doing something about it at this point."

The shadow looked up to Sohrab and he shook his head. He held up his hand, just in case Sohrab did decide to attack. He said nothing about the phone. It was his now. He fixed it, and it was contraband. Instead he walked to the lantern and picked it up, turning it up high and handing it to Sohrab. The light was stronger and brighter than the phone, so the shadow thought it an improvement, a very annoying one. He quickly handed it to Sohrab and backed away from it. He didn't like the light. It looked as if he may even be blind, but it was obvious he wasnt.
"To a crossdresser, it shouldn't matter. To a flower, it shouldn't matter more. It is not your place." He said coldly. "Measures are being taken. There is a war at hand that is unseen by such mortal eyes. Keep out of it. Or don't. Your choice." He said, turning away from Sohrab. "Your 'phone', is mine. I will give it back when i find it not a threat. A day or so."

"The other one will know. The other one knows much of the human world." Oh, well now Sohrab will have to figure out who 'the other one' is. THere was a reason why the guards and higher up servants didn't have names. But that wouldn't be discussed here, Sohrab wouldn't need to know.
"Who are you?" Shadow asked when Sohrab said investigating was his place. "are you not one that was brought here for the sole purpose to work? Did the Master not buy you?" That was the only way that Sohrab would have made it to the castle, someone would have had to offer him to the palace, and the palace buy their freedom. Granted it was given right back to them, but that wasn't the point. "As for your privacy. It means nothing to me. The people here are open in their entire being. Why do you think girls are happy to just run around mostly naked. Even the prince detests clothing. And the earthly women are always-" The shadow put on a happy, chipper, valley girl sort of voice "Always soooo happy to have a gay friend~" His voice dropped back to it's monotone self. "I have no intent on any sort of 'loving' relation."
"Angry deities, for the most part, perhaps a few upset demons. And the King and Queen know of it. They do not wish to incite a panic among the people." The shadow walked with Sohrab, though out of the light. "I think you should go home. Meddling will only make it worse."

Sohrab would have kept going until Shadow spoke again, "The other one will know, The other one knows much of the human world." That made Sohrab turn his head. "What....in the hell...are you talking about?" He growled slightly. As the Shadow gave him a question on his own. "Who are you? Are you not one that was brought here for the sole purpose to work? Did the Master not buy you?"
"I am not a thing to be bought first off, and second my name is Sohrab. I took this job to prove to my community I have a goddamn right to visit my sister despite the 'mistakes' they think I made. This was the only job I got accepted at even though I am supposed to be a 'woman'. Now, what else do you wanna say?!" There was a bit of silence between them, only the wind was heard before the man spoke,
"As for your privacy, It means nothing to me. The people here are open in their entire being. Why do you think girls are happy to just run around mostly naked? Even the prince detests clothing. And the earthly women are always-Always soooo happy to have a gay friend~! That would've made Sohrab laugh at the fact it came out of nowhere, the surprise of that tone made him shudder, trying to hold in the laughter since he was trying to be angry. ""Angry deities, for the most part, perhaps a few upset demons. And the King and Queen know of it. They do not wish to incite a panic among the people. I think you should go home. Meddling will only make it worse."
"Define home." He growled back as technically he did not have a home, even though the Shadow kept on following him despite Sohrab determined to investigate this thing. At the same time though, he knew one night will not solve 'everything'. He did go to his room and glared at Shadow. "Now go away mind you." He shuts the door and sighed, irritated as he got to the bed, frustrated that he did not even progress...even slightly.
