General Benitoite

While he was petite, painfully so at times, he wasn't weak but he wasn't this strong either. He stood watching the monster as it yanked off the page and turning toward him, the General took note that the beast seemed even more injured than before, tossed the page at him. It was by instinct that one leg fell back to brace himself, to try and keep on his feet. His balance had always been good but he wasn't able to keep standing when hit by a flying body.

Cursing as he went back and fell onto the ground in a tangled heap of limbs, his weapon leaving his hand and going flying, he cursed again as he lay there, under the page's weight, looking for his weapon. Deciding to solve this problem the easy way he slowly moved to stand, pushing himself to sitting and than slowly getting to his feet. One gloved hand moved to the back of his head where he'd impacted hard with the ground. "********." His head hurt, he'd had a flashing of black in his vision when he'd hit the ground.

"Is it just me or does he appear to be cracking like a mirror?" He asked casting his slate hued eyes toward the mars page who had been thrown at him. Reaching out a gloved hand, the one not still resting on the back of his head, and summoned his missing weapon into his hand.

"He's stronger than he looks..." He looked strong, without a doubt, but the strength he had was beyond what he expected to encounter. He was expecting an answer, even if it was some insult, from the page. he was not expecting the other to suddenly seem close to passing out. Reaching out, without thought, toward the page he wrapped a strong arm about him. His weapon pressed to the page's side as he held onto him, in order to keep the page upright.

"Don't pass out. We need everyone we have here to finish this fight." He ordered, commanded even, he wasn't a General for nothing. it wasn't often he gave orders, or pulled rank, but that didn't mean he was incapable of it. This was a knight at his side but this was an enemy to both of them and he would pull rank now if he had to - he would keep them together and as well as he could.

"Don't get close to him, he's stronger than he looks. Focus on that injury of his. Find whatever you can to throw at it or aim your attacks at it." He called out for the others to hear. His gaze than moved to the knight at his side. "You're going to be ok?" Shifting the other, enough to free up his weapon so he could throw it again at the beast. "Hold tight...he'll retaliate - I'll teleport us." And hopefully they could avoid the return attack from the beast.

Sailor Nephthys
DAMAGE=5

She had never been in a big battle, she was sure this wasn't as big as they got either, but this was not her sort of thing and yet here she was. She watched a General attack the monster only for his weapon to be turned on a Page. She watched the Page go down, but still try and fight - rock throwing. She watched as a knight went to help them, and do something - she didn't know what. She also watched as her bats were attacked but not before one of them managed to bite the beast - good! Maybe an energy draining would slow him down? Maybe it would help their side and they'd be able to gain some sort of an upper hand?

Watching her remaining bats vanish she hoped it would be enough, hoped to notice some lethargy within the beasts movements but she saw none - damn it!

She had already seen him throw a knight at the general so when the beast turned it's sights on hers she could only hope it wouldn't be too bad, that she would live through this.

Watching in horror as he went and...snapped a chain in order to get at the bicycle which he threw at her. Oh! That was easy! She went to jump over it only for a heel to catch on a tire and bring her crashing down to the ground in a tangle of limbs and metal bicycle. The hit she took was jarring and she knew she'd be bruised and sore from it but she also knew she had cuts and scrapes already, some leaking blood onto the pavement under her. Her head hurt, her vision was spotted as she blinked to clear it.

Sitting up, as best she could, she went for another attack. almost falling over onto the ground as she had to use both hands for it. With both hands in use the support she'd had, one hand pushing herself up from behind, the senshi of vampires called forth her attack again. The words a whisper the bats came again and went toward him. "They drain energy." She called out in a weak voice, letting her hand go back to support her. Blood she noted was indeed dripping down her legs from her knees and other various cuts and scrapes. Her head, the back of it, also felt a bit wet through all the thick dark hair she had.

Page Venice of Ganymede

He knew he should remain laying down, he should apply pressure to his new wound. There was a lot of things he should do, and likely more things he should not do - like getting involved in this fight. This was not something he should have thrown himself in to, at least if you asked a few people he knew. But that didn't matter now - they didn't matter now. Right now he was struggling to keep seated on the ground and not give in to laying down, not give in to being weak and giving up.

Shaking his head he lifted his dark eyes to the figure that approached him. Watching her come to his level his took note of her bright hair, so different from anything seen back where he was from. The smell of incense hit his nose and relaxed him as he bobbed his head to her words. "Hard to do with." He nodded his head toward the monster, watching as another page was thrown and a bicycle was tossed, with ease, at a senshi and she went down with the bike. "That here - is dangerous...can't be left alone." He answered but he let her work her magic.

He didn't know what her magic did but he trusted her, she was a knight like he was. He didn't feel anything at first, but it was hard to feel anything outside of the pain and the lightheadedness that the injury and subsequent blood loss brought him. When he finally did notice anything different he was lowering his gaze. The blood had stopped...the wound closed but only just. It was like new stitches but no thread to be seen.

He should relax, especially now when he could undo what the squire had done for him, but he just couldn't. he was a knight - he had a duty. Reaching, hand blinding searching the ground around him, for anything which he could throw he heard the General's words and sought to heed them. Finding another rock he threw it toward the beast, hoping to hit it's apparently weak shoulder.

Let me know if this sounds right for your squire's magic working on him. I'll edit as needed. Not sure how much it'll heal given his injury and her magic.

Tomlin, Order Guardian Cat

HIT: 5 DAMAGE

Tomlin had miscalculated. He froze on the creature’s arm, claws still unsheathed against its shining skin, as rushing air warned, too late, of the danger he was in. The thing had two hands, dammit. And its free hand engulfed him.

There was no struggle against such strength. The cat’s mouth hung open, unable to draw breath through constricted lungs, give voice to taunt or warning. The pressure left pinprick spots dancing across his vision, starting to fade out at the edges into darkness, huge mirrorsheen fingers blotting out his world. Thought became as difficult as breathing, ideas and regrets half-formed and shallow, hard to focus.

Maybe this was… why the senshi… complained when he tried… to battle with them…

No air, no light, only pain…

He didn’t feel the squeezing pressure cease.

He fell, inelegant as a dropped stone, and didn’t land on his feet.

He lay on the wet ground, a sad puddle of dirty ginger fur, barely stirring as the battle rage around him. Only the impact of a rock thrown nearby caused his ears to twitch. With slow movements, the guardian rolled onto his stomach, copper eyes opening again. He remained pancaked against the cracked pavement, ears pulled back as flat as his body, but his tail swished defiance.

“Ranged attacks,” he said, but his voice was soft, barely a breath. “Good plan. Stay on him.”

Determinedly, he raised himself back onto his haunches. He bided his time until the strange not-youma stepped within range. Summoning what little energy he had left, he took aim at a giant foot, the star on his forehead glowing from copper-gold to bright white as he invoked the Mauvian’s last-ditch beam attack.

The Eternal Senshi Harmonia was much more agile than Smol himself, she got up close to the monster and then through the rock at his face. It made contact and the monster growled, raising his hand to the spot where the rock had made contact. Shards crumbled to the ground, spilling from his face along with more of the strange silvery substance. When Smol’s hand fell from his face there was a hole where his nose had been and smoke began to leak from it. Energy, the creature was leaking energy. Inside it was hollow, what they were fighting was a shell. The General was right, he was cracking like a Mirror and breaking like glass.

Nephthys’s bats flocked the creature again, this time made harder to hit thanks to the smoke that rose from the Page’s weapon. The creatures flocked the beast again, swirling around the energy that was leaking from its face like hungry predators. It stepped back clumsy in its movements as one of the bats sunk its fangs into his face. The creature cried, it's loud metallic screech that sounded more synthetic than organic. Smol was in a great deal of pain and all he could do was channel said pain into offence.

It's cry seemed to echo through the city. To some it might seem very obvious that the sound was more than an outward expression of its suffering. But a call. A cry of a wounded animal asking for aid.

He sung for Gehenna and Benitoite once more, but its aim was thrown off by Tomlin’s cat beam. Giving them the chance they needed to teleport to safety. The creature stumbled forward and landed on its knees... only in that moment to be surrounded by glowing stones.

Zhou Yi, leaning on the edge of the bin, holding her hand signals steady with the help from Erytheia, called out the name of her attack. The stones surrounding the creature glew bright, and the creature hissed as he started to glow aswell. Another small bit of his energy drained.

The monster put a hand on the ground to steady himself and after a moment stood up straight, he was panting. It was clear to see that Smol was beginning to slow down, but he was not giving up just yet.

With one final road, he ran towards Violane, flicking his wrist in an attempt to smack her across the road. .

"Energy...?"

Erytheia stood on the sidelines watching as the creature raged. Its facade was dissipating. Its shell was shattering like a mirror. And there was nothing inside but pure energy and rage.

He watched as those we stood to fight began to crumble too.

How were they supposed to beat this thing?

Gehenna, Page of Mars
Damage: 5

The flash of hazy memories died as Gehenna felt arms around him, pulling him upright. The bulk of his body felt odd, pressed against something strong and small, and as he finally opened his eyes and glanced down he expected it to be one of the women before. At the sight of the paler figure gathering him up, he felt his muscles stiffen.

A General.

He couldn't deny the commanding nature - but neither could he deny that taint of chaos energy that swallowed the air around them, thick and as revolting as ever. Since that night with Alkaid, as her energy exploded around him from an open wound he'd punched through her abdomen, he had never quite been able to stomach the feel of it so close (no pun intended). Yet even through it all, Gehenna reminded himself that the words the other man spoke were true - they did need every able hand in this fight because he knew, with a deeply rooted dread, exactly what this creature was. He felt the kindred spirit in its anger, saw it in the way it looked into his eyes with pleasure at the fight.

"I'll be fine," he answered, obedient to a call of authority. He managed to straighten himself up and stand on two feet despite the way he felt battered through and through, body and mind. He stood where he was, still as a rock, as the man pulled back for another attack with a weapon that was, he had to admit, much more efficient than his bejeweled gloves.

"It's a berserker," he answered, finally, giving up his knowledge with a rock set to his jaw. A berserker connected to something called Mjolnir - a name he knew, and didn't. Was Eir here? Or someone that used to be Eir?

He unwound himself just enough to reach for an old, dented garbage bin lid and clamped both strong hands around it's jagged, chipped edges. It was round and metal, solid enough even if it was a bit battered. A half turn of his strong torso and he released it, watching with satisfaction as it soared through the air in a clean arc - trash discus style.

"We need to get it focused on something, tilted so hard it doesn't care about anything else." The dark man found himself drawn back to Beintoite's side, towering over him in height but paling next to him in strength. It was an unfortunate time to be punished by a mystical force parading as his ex-wife, but at least the General next to him could teleport. That was some small consolation in this huge ******** mess.

"If it's focused, it'll turn it's back on everyone else."

General Benitoite
DAMAGE=15

Watching as others battered at the beast he kept his slate eyes on it - watching. He was calm and calculating in nature. he wasn't the sort to rush into things, to not think and observe. it was in fact a rare thing for him, and such was not a trait on display tonight. As rain fell, soaking his uniform and causing it to gain in weight, and lightening flashed in the sky above he took note of the energy as well and took a step forward.

His head turned to the Page he'd been supporting at the others words. "Indeed." He answered simply. The other was right it needed to be distracted especially given what it seemed to be, if the Page was correct. "Meaning it won't stop until it's downed...

"I'll distracted it. I'm the best choice - I can take the hits better than anyone else present." Even the eternal he figured, as he had seen them...down in Negaspace and they had not had wings. That was new. "I have more experience in a fight..." And more experience in taking hits - hard hits. In a split second decision the General summoned his weapon and handed it over to the Page. "I trust you can at least throw this. I'll get in close and see if I can't grab some of that energy he has." If he could tap that energy, collect it, maybe he could help in weakening it?

it was a risk and one he was willing to take in order to win, though it seemed they were winning he didn't want to take the risk with an unknown enemy. They had a name, yes, but no information beyond that.

Pulling away from the Page fully the petite General made a grab for a stone and hurled it at the beasts shoulder before shouting at it. "Hey! On me! You want them you gotta take me out first." He would do his best to bait it - focus it. As he yelled at it he followed it up by launching himself at it, hoping to use his weight to knock it to the ground or at least latch onto it and start draining some energy.

Sailor Nephthys
DAMAGE=5

"Energy?" She whispered, shocked to feel energy in the air. "is there anything inside? Besides the silver it's leaking?" She called out, hoping someone closer might be able to see. As she watched the situation, watched as her bats seemed to go for the leaking energy and one bit down on it's target, her dark blue eyes landed on the guardian cat.

"Get out of there." Even as he was lasering the creature. She realized the cat might not be able to, not after it's near death from the thing. Moving in swiftly on red heels the senshi of vampires swooped down and scooped the cat up. "You did good, time to retreat for you." She said while jumping back, out of the way of the thing, in case it decided to lash out at her. Watching as it lost it's nose the senshi of vampire's gaze turned away from the hideous sight. "That scream..." She spoke, her voice nearly drown out by the beasts cry of pain, unaware that it was calling for more - calling for help.

Putting a good distance between herself and the creature she knelt down and set the cat on the ground. "Rest. I'll take you home with me tonight if I need to - so you can properly rest." Not knowing if he had a place to call home. He needed to rest somewhere safely, and a good hot meal no doubt. He parents, who would be home at this hour, would be asleep and not aware of whatever she did; which was good for her.

Looking around she stood back up and went to grab a piece of brick laying on the ground, oh so innocently, and taking it into her right hand she threw it at the beast. Her aim wasn't the best but it was a large enough chunk of brick.

Sailor Castor-To general/everyone

Sleep, blessed sleep. Elzo had relished it once he'd managed to return to earth, to his bed and to the place that was his home. It was deep and void of dreams. It was safe, and it gave his mind a small peace. Sleeping on castor had much the same, but there he woke to memories and knowing melancholy would loom over his heart. So earth had it been. Earth where his wounds could heal under the eyes of his brother and doctors paid more than their worth to keep silent.

Waking to the hum of Chaos had him flinging himself painfulling to the waking world, hands grasping for a weapon, for his pen. Panic and fear had his pupils dilate as he took in his surroundings.
He was still in the suite, still in his boxers from the night before. His body still whole and the dull ache of chaos far from his skin and bone.

Yet he felt it even when he'd been Elzo, and that alone sent a chill in his spine.
He could feel others gathering, feel them, one by one, massing near the energy, drawn like moths to a flame.

Elzo didn't rush himself. He dressed in plains clothes, he went to a far enough location that when he called upon his power he held back his wings and crown. He couldn't draw attention so far away. Chaos was chaos, and until he saw what it was, he'd not have eyes looking for the royal who'd slipped from the grasp of the negaverse.

By the time he arrived, he cursed himself for his negligence. The damage had been done, all that was left was to mitigate what else might happen.

"Castor Tiara Magic!" His tiara spun the traditional white gold disk before it was sent flying.

Blue eyes looked to those present, noting the negaverse general among them. It gave him a moment of pause. A youma wouldn't be let loose like this without purpose. They never were, not unless the negaverse really was crumbling and weaker internally than it let on.

"Anyone want to give me a run down of what ugly here is doing or is this another ******** up on the part of the negaverse?"

General Benitoite

It was another signature, order, that was approaching, was suddenly amongst them, that pinged off the General's senses. From his location the words filtered in and he turned his head, perhaps not a good idea, and decided since he was taking charge he would continue to do so.

"This thing here is, according to the mars page, a berserker. it's not a youma." He didn't, for the moment, elaborate as he adjusted his hold on the best so he could continue in his job of keeping it's attention on him. "It's not one of ours. This thing bleeds silver liquid...and you can't feel the energy it's letting off?" he questioned as slate eyes stared at the eternal senshi, one he'd met before on multiple occasions.

He'd tried to take him on in the past, right now though...the enemy of my enemy. The idea played in his mind, the words bounced about his head as whispers. They would, for this fight, work together.

"It's falling apart like a mirror....but it has the strength of what I called it." A berserker...it was strong...something a General or an Eternal, a royal even, could hold up to but nothing else really. He wasn't even sure how well he would hold up when it decided to strike out at him.

"That senshi in black and red...she said she drained some of it's energy with her magic. It doesn't seem to have done much good - not as far as I can tell." And his weapon, the one he'd one pointed at the eternal, was in the hands of a page of mars. He himself, all five foot three inches of him, was clinging to the beast as he sought to draw energy from it in the hopes of weakening it. He was meant for draining energy - it was what a Negaverse officer did.

"Just don't hit me with your damn magic and we'll be good. I'd offer a drink after this fight but I doubt you'd take me up on the offer." Soaked to the bone, his hair plastered to his face, the General looked small compared to the hulking thing.

Page Venice of Ganymede
DAMAGE=5

Still in pain, he was after all not fully healed, the page slowly got to his feet. His legs wobbled, and buckled, as they tried to bring him back to the ground - where he should be. He had, while standing up, grabbed another rock from the ground. This rock was thrown as he aimed, or tried to anyway, at the beasts already damaged face. The thing, as he wasn't even sure what it was, had lost it's nose - the poor thing...

Hopefully the rock he threw would take out more of it's face, maybe part of the mouth? Would it still be able to make that horrendous noise if it lost part of it's mouth? Or would it make it worse? Or no difference?

Looking down to the red haired squire who had helped him the page of Ganymede held out a hand, slender fingers reaching down to her. "I will take it slow - gentle." He didn't want to open up the thinly knitted together skin, she had used how much magic to help him? He wouldn't waste it and reopen his sealed skin and risk bleeding out, or at least severally incapacitating himself. He needed to be capable of helping, even in some small manner.

Smol growled, stone after stone hit him as did the trash can lid. Though the last one, thrown by the Benitoite, was the one that had the creature falling to his knees.

The stone thrown by The General went straight through the wound on its shoulder, making the cracks extend down to its waist and across its torso. It put out its hands on the ground to stabilize itself, silver dripped, energy leaked and Smol was gasping for air. No he was not dead, but he was breaking. The Generals charge seemed to halt when another Order Senshi arrived.

His red eyes just raised to look at him, Smol snarled and hissed at Castor. Though when the senshi’s magic was summoned, Smol lowered his head, knowing that he was done but not wanting to run or surrender.

That was until yet another Senshi arrived, draped in black with feathers running through her hair. She crouched down in front of the monster, pressing her hand against his chest. “Get up! Get the ******** up!” She commanded as her eyes fixed on the disc that was heading towards them. It all happened in a second, a large hand wrapped around the woman’s waist and the creature jumped to the side. Both monster and Dark Mirror Senshi got out of the path of the tiara. When the Senshi opened her eyes, she was being held close to the monster, a large hand covering most of her body.

That was stupid, she knew that stunt was stupid and her heart was racing in her chest. Still, she sighed a large sigh of relief and rested her head against the creature's body. It had summoned her here, dragged her out of her hospital bed in the ICU and there was something so strangely familiar about his aura. She could not watch it fade to dust, she just couldn’t. Pushing away from it she looked over at the General and raised her hand, as if to tell him to stop. There was no love between the DMC and the Negaverse and the alliance with Order was just as fragile, she knew that nobody here would have any reservations about going through her to get to Smol; but she was hoping they would have more sense than that.

“Don’t you think it’s odd, that it is gasping for air, even though it does not have any lungs?” She asked him, grasping at straws in an attempt to make the General stop and think for a moment. “It doesn’t have to breathe, but it is doing it anyway because that is familiar. Because that is what it knows.” She continued, glancing back over her shoulder as Smol once again kneeled on the floor; whilst one hand was raised to the General, the other raised to give the same command to Smol. She did not want these two going through her to get at each other.

”This creature is a wraith, though it's an anomaly. They usually do not grow larger than cats, they usually can’t cause physical damage to people - just drain energy. Please, hear me out. This creature could be the most valuable discovery that has ever come from Mirrorspace.” The senshi addressed the group, some were injured, some more than others. It was always harder to fight a case when damage had been done, but she did not need everyone to agree. Her eyes scanned over everyone present, but she did not look at Castor. Mjolnir herself had never been a diplomat but knew this was not a battle she could win through battle, if she had any chance of saving this creature she would have to talk them down.

Golden eyes flickered over to the Page holding the spear. “You, have you seen a creature like this before?” She asked him, wondering if he wanted to expand on the name he had given it. Mjolnir stepped back until she was stood right in front of the creature, the berserkers of the past bled like men, their blood was red and their flesh acted like flesh. Mjolnir’s reflection was cast on the monster’s skin, broken and obscured where the skin was cracked and damaged. Though the reflection was more distaughted depending on who saw it, were to her, Benitoite, Hy-Brasil and others it was a reflection of the person they saw now.

Harmonia, Gehenna and Castor might have seen someone else.

        ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

        Smol Health: 15
        Mjolnir Health: 35

Battle is on pause for now, but if anyone does decide to attack Mjolnir, Smol will move to defend.

Note: The variation of the reflection depends on your own past life experiences of Mjolnir, and the face and name she had when your characters interacted.

Erytheia felt the distinct aura of the prince as he appeared. He wasn't sure what to do now. He knew of this senshi royal and his position on chaos. Things would escalate now.

But there was another senshi that appeared and she was one he knew nothing about.

Her plea was to spare the creature. It was unique, she claimed. Worthy of saving.

Erytheia didn't know what it was, but he could hear the sincerity in her voice. He laid down his weapon.

"I will not harm it, sailor protecter. I have never seen anything like it before. If you say it is worth saving, I will aid you."

Tomlin, Order Guardian Cat

The beam of light faded out, leaving Tomlin heavy-headed and dizzy, the toll of the energy-intensive attack stacking badly with the crushing he’d already taken. But he’d been on target. The creature was crying, stumbling. Tomlin was vaguely aware of the different powered auras that spun around it. There was a General in their midst, co-ordinating with the Order-aligned signatures. He couldn’t make sense of it.

Someone yelled at him to get out, and that kind of thing was usually accompanied by a thrown shoe, in his experience. He didn’t have the strength left to run. The cat listed gently sideways, but friendly hands were there to catch him.

“I’m fine,” he protested as he was lifted up, but the unfamiliar senshi’s frilled sleeves were softer and drier than the ground, and her voice was kind. When she set him down again, he did his best to sit up straight and look like he wasn’t falling-down tired. Somewhere dry to rest was very tempting.

He didn’t see where the dark-uniformed senshi came from. Just that the creature moved for her, when it should surely have been shattered. He saw nothing strange in the reflections, just the cracks.
Looking at the creature now, it was hard to believe that its motivation was malice. He had never known a youma to cry out like that, or seem so human in its defeat. It was a strange entity, but beyond that, they didn’t know the cause of its rage.

It could have been frightened. It could have been lost.

“It attacked first,” he pointed out.

He moved forward to lean against Sailor Nephthys’s red heels, glancing up at her. He was vaguely aware that the senshi had gone to check the dumpster after he realised he couldn’t open it. From his low position, he could barely even see if the lid was still open, let alone the state of the girl who’d been the berserker’s first casualty. “Is the scout in the dumpster okay?”

“Are you?” he added, as his tired mind caught up that not all the red on the senshi’s legs was part of her fuku.
