Shaking his head to himself, Shun placed the leash back where he found it, then headed back to the station. He navigated the halls, making his way to June's office. There, he just walked right on in, deposited her keys and wallet on top of her desk, then started to walk away without a word.

As he walked in, June looked up, somewhat delighted by the interruption. "Shun! Wait- have you eaten dinner?"

Shun just kind of quietly stared at June for a few moments.

She gestured to the takeout cartons, only one of which was opened. "I got too much ... if you wanted some? As a thank you of course!" She tried to clean up some of the mess around them, as though she hadn't noticed it was there until now. She'd been busy.
"I also had some ... questions."

Shun eyed the other cartons and raised his brow, "What are they? And could you not just save what is left for another day?"
After that, his gaze narrowed a bit.
"About what?"

"I could I suppose, but if you haven't eaten it's no problem," she said with the innocent sort of smile that June usually wore. The kind that small puppies had that made you feel obliged to protect them.
She tried not to look too uncomfortable under his stare. "The other day with the water balloons, they were- that is, you and America. They were floating?" No easy way to break that question.

Shun didn't approach to take any of the food. His brow just remained raised for the time being.
"Do you really think they were?" he asked calmly.

June raised an eyebrow at his hesitance and then said, "Oh! Sorry I should have said what I got." She then went on to list the various cartons; mostly basic foods like spring rolls and fried rice. June didn't exactly go for exotic (she was a pretty picky eater all things considered).
She would approach the floating water balloon question once the food situation had been established; she was like that, needing to finish one task before moving on to the next.

Shun sighed as she began to list off the food she had here, then shook his head.
"No. I do not need anything," he said flatly. He hadn't eaten dinner yet, no, but he mostly wanted to go home right now. And since she didn't answer him about the water balloon thing, he was ready to step right back out.

Normally she would have asked, "are you sure?" but Shun didn't seem like the kind of person that required a second answer.
"Sorry, sorry. Anyways the balloons- I do think they were. Er, floating. I was there for a good hour, but I didn't want to ask there ..." June was kind of shy and it had taken her quite a few days to work up the courage to ask about it.

"there were a lot of balloons flying around that day," he said, "but I do not think any were going off on their own, June."

"You two were ... throwing them, and then catching them. But not touching them," she explained, motioning with her hands what had happened.
It was an event in broad daylight, you couldn't really hide it.

It was true, he had gotten a little carried away, and should have stopped once passerbys came. But training was still training. To June though, he tilted his head.
"What would you say or do if I said that was really the case? That we were somehow flinging water balloons without actually touching them?"
