Lily pursed her lips when America started asking questions. There was so much she herself didn't understand, and they were on the tail of something just as unknown with a little more blood on their hands, so she didn't see how giving her the quick briefing they'd received was going to do them any sort of good. Luckily for her, Jamie was a bit more loquacious, and the werefisher nodded along in silence, as if to ratify everything he said. When word began filtering through the radio about bites and infections, Lily moved closer to Jamie, putting a protective hand on his shoulder, looking both defensive and concerned. "I don't know if naturally is the word I would've used," she shrugged, rubbing at her strange ear, "but yeah, I get it. The Prideful One pulled us out of our happy little prayer circle because we have to stop this, so we're here to help, no biting involved." She would have smiled, but she felt with the state of her teeth it would do little to help the situation. "So...we have any other leads?"

Shiloh's attention immediately snapped back over to Jeremiah as he spoke, blinking curiously. If there was one thing he couldn't stand, it was when adults tried to talk for him or give him unsolicited advice. This didn't necessarily fall into either category, but he narrowed his eyes, only the teeniest bit miffed. It was probably better than standing there all sad and self loathing.
"Sure gramps, whatever..." Shiloh glanced away, but his cheeks felt a little hot with something akin to embarrassment, because the words honestly did help him to feel just bit better. He had acted on his own, and he was here, and that meant there was something he could do. What it was, he still wasn't too sure, but there'd be a purpose for him yet.
Maybe he should get to looking around then. Though as he turned to Jamie, he startled slightly at the sight of Lily; the ******** had she gotten here? Well, she had been with the group, but...
"Uh... dunno. I'm gonna look around I guess." Shiloh awkwardly scratched the back of his head, glancing at Jamie again. He didn't want to separate even slightly, but part of him almost wanted to distance himself in a weird contradictory way. It was just that whole 'No, he could do something—no wait, he couldn't, or maybe he could, or'...
Whatever. It made his head hurt, so he was just going to act. Directing his attention to the stalls, Shiloh investigated the shredded aluminum separators curiously. Christ, whatever came through here was a force of nature to be sure...

It was startling to hear Shiloh's sudden apology, one that felt like it came out of no where. Jamie hadn't meant to leave him in the dark. He promised to tell him about what was going on, after all, and he would. It's just that he'd gotten caught up in his conversation with Jeremiah. It made him feel helpful and that had certainly been a nice change of pace.
Just like it was a nice change of pace to be comforted. Jamie honestly ate it up. With a nod of thanks to Jeremiah and a gentle hand on Lily's as she touched his shoulder, he let out a small, almost determined breath. "I was gonna, um, try and look for more, too, I think..." he told her, following Shiloh's lead. He'd wanted to try and explain Other Ashdown to him, but that would have to wait. It was probably better to split up to search for clues, anyway.
Giving Lily's hand a small squeeze, he went over to take a look at the mirrors, see if maybe something had gotten caught or their brother had left something behind. It might not be much, but anything would help, wouldn't it? Just had to be extra careful not to cut his toes on any of it.-- Jamie is searching around the shattered mirrors.Jamie DelaxcroixHP: 20/20

Algie notices the blood smears seem to have come from whatever broke the stone sheet of the sinks. There's a particularly large splotch of blood on the floor around some shattered tiles. Pieces of the tiles and bloody footprints and handprints lead the way out of the bathroom. America's warg self is nearby. On the stairs, looking down, watching the concourse below them. There is no danger to the first floor at this time. Jamie has found a cell phone. It's not locked. Shiloh's investigation reveals that the aluminum stall separators are torn to shreds, sets of four long slashes. It looks like it was done purposefully, like someone trying to get control of themselves. Chris stands by the entrance to the bathroom, one eye on the group inside and one eye outside. So that's why he sees the were first: it's not a man, it's a girl, small and slight and blonde-haired. She stumbles, furred claws clutching at anything to catch her as she cries out in pain. Chris was, as Other Ashdown had rightfully made him, pretty paranoid which is why he was standing more on the edge of the bathroom than right in it. The rest of the group had it pretty covered anyways and he was tall enough that he'd most likely get in the way.
He was more invested in watching Shiloh, Jamie, and Jer talk (and they were called moonwalkers, and Pax's sibling? This was all fascinating information) than really keeping lookout that when he finally decided to look back, he was completely and utterly terrified to see a were nearby.
And god, she was so small and Chris had promised to protect Jamie but he also had heard what had been said - that they were rogue, and scared, and a bite from them was very very bad. So unforuntely, Chris went with instinct rather than logic and lashed out at the girl, kicking her with about as much force as he could manage.
It took him a second to reconsider, before he gasped out "Oh god I'm so sorry." and then with though, "GUYS! THERE'S A ROGUE ONE OUT HERE!!"

Inhaling sharply, America's sight returns to the room at hand and very suddenly is extremely grateful for the reassuring sight of the relatively peaceful first floor. Something was attacking.
"Don't let 'em get bitey!" She reminded the fellow at the door while her gaze flitted about the room for something helpful before landing on a trashcan, already overturned. Dumping out the rest and popping off the lid, America, called out, "Maybe we can get this over her head?!"

Lily was already on edge and not looking at any particular clues, so when Jamie's teacher began to shout outside, she shimmied her way through the crowd and out of the stall, watching with wide eyes as he punted a little girl. "Man, you sure picked a scary one, huh, Teach," she sniffed, her lips twisted into a grimace when the girl hit ground. That girl didn't ask for this to happen. She didn't mean to hurt anyone. It wasn't fair. "I'm sorry, sweetheart," she murmured lowly, approaching with her clawed hands reaching for the girls' arms. If she could just get the girl pinned down, maybe they could subdue her without doing too much damage. Lily's HP: 20 Were HP: 37/50

Thorne followed the sound out into the hallway and hissed at what he found. Which was: Chris punching a terrified girl in the face. "I'm letting you die first if zombies ever come to earth," Thorne deadpanned to Chris in a half-joking manner before approaching the girl the way he did a dangerous dog. "Hey, it's gonna be alright - just calm down, yeah? We'll find you help soon." He reached for her, half to subdue if he had to and half to help Lily because ******** if he was letting Lucas's pack mate get hurt. HP: 20/20 WERE HP: 33/50 AMItotic idk he's there tryin'a help

Shiloh heard the scream instantly. His head had turned to the source, but his legs were already running to the door before his mind could catch up with the situation.
That being, his teacher kicking a small child clear to the ground. ******** stone cold. Shiloh really didn't have a whole lot of thought to add to that one, other than he clearly wasn't the man he thought he was.
Of course, then he noticed the claws, and his mind flashed back to the shredded metal in the bathroom and how distinctive it was and how it looked so purposeful. In his daze, Lily had run out, followed by Thorne, the duo quick to pin her down (or attempt, anyway).
"Watch out for her mouth!" he remembered the warnings of being bit, but Shiloh was over there in a flash anyway. This was it; he could be useful pertinent, he could do something. Even if that something was dog piling onto a small child.
Better than beating the s**t out of her, at least, because he had a feeling that would probably upset some people (namely Jamie)

Jeremiah could not quite believe that people were hitting the girl but ... He shook his head and followed after Lily and Thorne, calling to both. "Get a grip on her arms if you can! I'll get her legs!" Which definitely meant he was going for her feet, aiming to grab and get a hold of them to help pin her. Ok. Okay.
Seeing the dogpile, America tossed the garbage can away and quickly considered the options. There didn't seem to many, and non of them particularly good. And there was still the biting business. "s**t s**t s**t s**t..." was the hissed mantra as the girl approached the group on the floor, taking off her denim jacket as she did so.
As the girl's head thrashed up, America brought down the jacket over the moonwalker's face trying to create an impromptu muzzle. America cringed, realizing she'd been more forceful about than she'd intended.

"Knock her out!" Alg sort of danced a bit around the mass of people, some on the thrashing were's limbs and others just trying to hold her still, he attempted to clock her in the back of the head...
Except she didn't get knocked out and he'd essentially whacked her in the skull with his fist.

When Shiloh took off, so did Jamie, shoving the phone he'd found into his pocket as he went. It was obvious he was getting better at using his feet, and once he had them mastered he had a funny feeling he'd be pretty formidable in a race, but that was neither here nor there at this point. Chris had called from outside. It was a rouge were...
Rouge still felt like an almost uncomfortable word to use. The ones they were chasing hadn't asked for this either, had they? It was difficult not to lump himself in with them. After what they'd been told and what he'd experienced by simply touching his kin, Jamie wondered if they weren't all supposed to be some sort of impromptu family.
That didn't mean the other people gathered here weren't important, though.
Jamie didn't want to hurt anyone. Jamie was a bleeding heart who only wanted to make friends and take care of his fish. Was that so much to ask? He tried not to outwardly flinch when Algernon attempted to knock her out, but it didn't quite work...
"I-It's gonna be okay..." he said, voice wobbly. She was already hurt and there was hardly any room to get in there, but he held down one of her arms because that was all he could think to do.

You all use the smallish were-creature as a punching-slash-kicking bag. She takes it like a champ, hitting the ground rather gracelessly with a wordless wail. Once Lily grapples her into submission, she still flails and fights (though that sensation of pack is there: this were-child is family, a sister, and in pain) teeth gnashing, foaming at the mouth with her claws fully extended. She is crying, brown eyes wide and uncomprehending, strawberry-blonde locks flying as she tries to shake Lily, and then Thorne, and then Jeremiah, until she was still enough--America wrapping her head in denim as she screams and cries unintelligibly--she snaps out, teeth slamming together audibly, but catching nothing. It's her claws that hit her victim, Thorne. She can't see what she's done, but she renews her thrashing, trying to get away, muscles pulling and flexing as she attempts to escape.
