If he left now, it would come back to haunt him. On one side, people were tending to the wounded. On the other, they were on the move, they were pressing forward with purpose. Shiloh knew he couldn’t stay here. The smell of blood, the freshness of death he hadn’t yet hardened himself to... There was only one option left, because Shiloh couldn’t run again even if he wanted to. He had to do something.
Maybe it was crazy to chase a monster, but when had he ever worried about making poor choices before now? There was blood on his hands already, even if only in his own mind. What more did he have to lose?
He pulled out his phone, the crowds making it impossible to know he was reaching out to someone who was already here.Text im gonna do it i shldnt do it im gon na do it Shiloh “Poor Choices” Beaumont made for the stairs.First Floor Orange Zone --> Right StaircaseShiloh Beaumont – HP: 20/20

Lucas had more than had his fill of these supposed all-knowing and yet exceptionally ignorant antlered beings. He stood his ground, watching his Pack, and just like that... It wasn't the first time he'd come out of the place but he still wasn't entirely prepared, especially with the cries and filtered screams that greeted them. Dizziness mingled with shots of nausea filtered through him, but he swallowed it down and slowly go up to his feet, his human and prosthetic feet, his spine straightening though still feeling a little...off. Lucas rolled his shoulders, flexed his fingers and cracked his neck. Only after he assessed that he was whole did he open his red eyes, listening to the gathered with an expression that was less than impressed. "I'm fine, Princess," he answered her question first as he slowly joined the group, looking them over, "and if you mean Eve, she's safe." Well, she was safe. He had no idea now. His eyes lit on Lily. "First, this is in no way our fault, Sunshine. Those shits are making a game, a mockery of our lives and existence, and I don't want to hear you playing into their hands like you're some pawn, alright? Don't be guilty over what you have no control over." He extended his hand ( holy s**t were those claws?) and gently touched his knuckle beneath her chin. "Head up Lilypad, we've got work to do." Kneeling next to Jamie, his words softened, mostly audible to just the rabbit-kin. "If you need help or to hold onto me for this, you let me know, okay, Buttercup? I'm all for us learning how to deal with this s**t but not now. Not when we've got this on our plate." Lucas gently smoothed his hand ( carefully, CLAWS) through the teen's hair in an affectionate gesture before he stood, red eyes narrowing. "We've been briefed that there's a rogue were that is here and shouldn't be - and yes, were as in werewolf, you're looking at one." His voice was clipped, no-nonsense, years spent as an Officer still very much a part of him. "We don't have time for questions. We are on your side and have a deadline to catch the errant were: four twenty two in the a-m. After it's done, you can ask whatever you want, be as afraid as you want, but our objective is to apprehend the rogue." Too many civilians. Too many young, scared eyes. Lucas didn't like it, but he was the wolf. He'd play Big Bad if he had to. Quote: Right StaircaseLucas Reis HP: 20

The group moves up the stairs on their different sides. They are joined there by several of the wargs and two werecreatures, and everyone is now standing before the elevator banks. Lara stops near the group. Her eyes flicker towards the stairs: surely it would be best if she went downstairs, with her condition. But she cannot abandon the younger wargs, and looks to Melina: "You can't stay here alone," says Lara, "Walk with me to the stairs. Things seem calm there, and you'll be safe enough." Damn, son. Lucas was most certainly not ******** around. They'd have to have their tearful reunion with music and hugging later. If he was right, and there was an assignment (and considering he'd gone all soldier mode, Autumn was very much inclined to believe him), she was gonna help him get s**t done. Especially if it meant these two kids didn't get ******** over on some were thing they didn't even ask for. "I think we should head for the third floor, first. Work through there, push any assholes against us down to the second floor. And that way, if someone gets hurt beyond what I can handle..." She gestured to Lucas's claws, then added "no offense. We just watched some people get ripped to shreds down there, and if it's a rogue were, I have this feeling claws are comin back into play..." Autumn turned back to the others, not smiling anymore. "If something happens, we can get anyone injured down to the first floor quicker from the second than we could from the third." She frowned. "I still don't think we should just. Murdercock this guy, though. I don't know about you all, but I want answers as to what the ******** is going on."The group Bolded her proposition for ease of access

America, who'd at Falco and Melina and whose attention remained there as Lara followed, snapped her attention back to the stairs as Autumn began to talk. Face turning grim, she asked, voice short, "Explain the situation. Small words."Top of the stairs.

"Right. So the furry ******** with us are on our side. The guy from outside wasn't. He's gone apeshit and is hiding somewhere here in the building," Autumn explained, gesturing to the school. "we have to scope him out. Get him under control, so nobody else gets hurt. My personal vote is that we restrain him and try to get answers." She offered America a tight-lipped smile.
"That work?"

" Jesus wept. Alright, if it's a person I should ********' hope we're not all planning to kill him." She turned to give the rest a confused gaze. "Like...that's not a thing ya'll are planning right? Oh look, there's cops, too. Thank ********' god." She waved at Jeremiah and Shun. Obviously they wouldn't let people just run around all, let's kill a sumbitch! Like a bunch of backwoods boys full of piss and homebrew moonshine.

“L… Lily?” Zac’s voice was more than a little surprised to see her, and sporting a few new… accessories. Not really what he’d expected to see today, the claws gave him pause but, she was being calm, rational. There had to be a reason for it, and maybe if they knew that they could calm the other one down some how. After all… they were a person first… right? “LUCAS!” He added glad to see his friend, all the papers and web page’s he’d been digging for, he wondered if ANY of it had helped. He didn’t care right now. He hugged Lucas, big bad wolf or not. “Everything is closed down, there are cops at the exits I think someone said.” He needed to make it clear that just leaving wasn’t as much as an option as would be preferred. He did though, nod to Autumn’s suggestion. “ I’m with you. Third floor means we can maybe catch it as we go down, and we won’t, hopefully, be trapped at the top floor either.” “…and Maybe… maybe we can figure out a way to calm him down, or… something. He was a person before this…” Quote: Voting for: Go up one more floor.

"Last time we went to Other Ashdown there was a monster deer. And a knife. It was some s**t," Autumn told America, not even slightly amused by the memory. "I just want us all on the same page so nobody pulls a knife and slits the guy's throat at the last second, if we do get him tied down. She turned to the group. "So what do we think? Third floor, or what?"

"While I agree we need to work our way to the third floor," Jeremiah spoke as he glanced around to the group, " we need to clear the second floor first and make sure that we're not leaving anything beyond that can go down to the first floor and attack the injured." His eyes glanced to America and gave her a nod. " There are friendlies, if some of you have not noticed, and we are not going to harm them." Jeremiah's voice was hard. This was the detective lieutenant speaking and he meant it for everyone. "Any hostile people that we find must be either captured or knocked out. I don't want to see any unnecessary actions or violence from anyone." Shoulders rolled and he was looking over everyone. There were werecreatures present and he was glad to know that Lucas and the others were alright. " We cannot just past this floor up and leave our injured opened to being attacked from things that are on this floor. So we need to investigate and clear it." The words were repeated, just to make it clear. " I am not going to have people die downstairs because we failed to clear this area before we checked the higher floor."

"Good Small words version." Was that.... Lily?? He kind of thought today was supposed to be the job fair. Now it looked more like the "Keep Ashdown Weird" fair. "I think he came knocking down the hall a minute ago, there was a lot of banging around and s**t, but he didn't get through the door." Find whoever built that door. then give them a ******** medal Especially after the railing. "Should we like, find something to work with here? I mean, most of us aren't going Bella Lugosi here..." He shot a look at Lily, raising his eyebrows. "But speaking as someone who's not I think I'm glad to have you guys on our side." Werecritters. No ********' kidding. Focus on that, not on the idea of mauled people. Or the potential of also being mauled. He could do this. Probably. I mean he watched When Animals Attack... that maybe counted as prep for this kind of thing. "Starting upstairs sounds fine... I mean.... I think." He had a vague thought about potentially herding an angry creature into a crowd, but then again, it had already gotten onto the second floor, he didn't think trying to drive it to the roof was going to do much more than -mildly inconvenience- this guy.

"That makes a ******** more sense," Autumn admitted at Jeremiah's speech, shoulders drooping. As many movies as she'd seen, she wasn't a soldier or investigator. It made more sense.
"My vote is to go where Jeremiah goes."
