"Mmmm... I was never into the forest much." Jaro he stretched a bit before attempting to head back the way they came. "I'm not sure I'd want what it has to offer..." Hopefully the didn't get lost. "SO tell me what you know about inspiration then..." Jaro looked genuinely interested. Maybe he'd learned a thing or two in college. "Have you had a muse???"

"It's a little creepy, to be honest," Aodh admitted, moving to follow Jaro back. There were some signs of their path so it would be easy to follow back out hopefully. Something about the way that Jaro was asking him about a muse made him turn pink and he shook his head. Blonde hair fell into his forehead and he raked a hand through it to get it back. "Mostly I just ..." he started, then stopped. "I try to find it around me. Weird things are inspiring too. Sometimes it's just the way that sunlight hits the a window and reflects or the puddles after it rains ..." He paused in his steps a moment, pinker for even admitting that. "No muses for me. Just my brain." Not entirely unlike Jaro.

"My sisters like the woods.." Jaro smirked, "My brothers and I always preferred fighting and army man war games.." Well the ones closer in age to him anyway, "But my sisters always had their little garden plays with animals and forests and faeries and things.." The tall man paused walking too, if only to glance at their surroundings and try to pick the correct direction back. "So what do you make?" Because he really never had asked and now he was curious. Jaro usually just... well, the world revolved a bit around him if you hadn't noticed.

"Think all the stories growing up around here put me off the woods." Aodh shook his head. "I always preferred the town over exploring out here ..." Not that he did not, in some spare time, read about those kinds of things. Sometimes those stories felt more alive than anything else. When Jaro paused, he tilted his head towards where it looked like they came from. "I haven't actually made anything in awhile." His fingers plucked at the bracelet on his wrist. "Mostly just sketches, to be honest. Things I can put together with my own hands and others could wear." There were a pile of in progress pieces stored away in boxes that he had ignored. Aodh had enjoyed making things like on his wrist but ... "I'll show you sometime if you want?"

"I do want." Jaro grinned. His wariness wasn't affected much by stories, though they always had peaked his interest. As much as anyone would be, someone with a fantastical mind, someone who stayed up too late watching Ghost Hunters marathons. "Now do you think we're close?" To leaving, because he hadn't been paying attention to where he was walking and everything looked like trees again.

"You want a lot of things," was the reply. Aodh came to a stop, looking around them and then trying to pick the path. Gray eyes blinked and went from tree to tree to tree. There had to be some kind of pointer but they had not exactly followed a trail. Was that a clearing through the next set of trees? That would mean they were close. "I think so? I-" Aodh sighed. "I was more focused on talking to you than paying attention to where we were walking back this time."

"Well worst case scenario we walk that way until we die.." But they weren't very far in so eventually they would come out to the road. "Next time you have to navigate.. even if you have to ignore me speaking." He gave him a look. He was srs. "But if it gets to it.. I'm eating you to survive." azuredreams they can fade out trying to find truck probly ??

"Will you even survive if I ignore talking to you?" he asked, mostly joking (but a little serious). "That's the plan anyway." This was what happened when he let himself get distracted. Aodh gave Jaro a look right back. "I am not food. I don't care how delicious you think I may be." iloveyouDIE when he realizes how that sounded ...

Jaro grinned, a sharp sort of attention, "That sounds like a challenge." Did he mean the not talking or the eating him? Who knows.

Aodhan turned a vivid red as soon as he realized just exactly what he said sounded like. He said nothing, instead just continued walking. Worst, worst, worst.
