Ashral grinned at the challenge. "It must run in the family..." she joked a bit, her eyes watching the pot, but her mind was not thinking about cooking. As he mentioned her being a great great... grandma of some sort, she opened her mouth in surprised appall. She then began to laugh. Really laugh. It was nice having someone to talk to. She had spent most of her living life alone, she began to wonder if this is what she was supposed to have had. An odd feeling of anger and resentment was starting to form below the surface, but she was at least enjoying the company enough not to show her underlying negative feelings about it.

He asked her about her parents and her smile dropped almost immediately. "...I don't remember my parents." she answered shortly. Her eyes were glinting with pain as she sighed, "All I knew was that space beneath the floorboards and my brother. I don't think I ever knew my parents. Though, Shogu used to tell me it didn't matter. As long as I was safe." her eyes narrowed solemnly. "I don't think I knew anything about them at all. Never saw them, never knew their names, never even got to talk to them before they died." She sighed, "It wasn't important."

The sudden mention of Hexxis snapped her out of her longing expression, looking over at him. "..yeah. She just woke up. Did you... " she shifted her weight and looked back at the boiling pot. "Would you like to spend time with her now?"

Ree winced, not sure now if she really didn't know her parents, had purposely forgotten them or if she was lying. And Shugo.... her brother's name was Shugo... good to know if he hears of a mane or malice with the same name. Wait... Shugo what?

"What was your last name? " he blurted out suddenly as she asked about Hexxis. Looking faintly confused then hesitate he gave a slight shrug "Up to her and you. I was only curious since you suddenly turned into an expert chief " he smiled faintly motioning with his chin at what she was currently cooking, they liked spaghetti, good to know. "I didn't know Hexxis knew how to cook" looking down at his own bland thing and not caring... food was food and he was going to go eat, heal, pass out ..hope their luck holds and repeat.

She blinked, tilting her head slightly, "Hmm?.... Oh... My name is Ashral Muramasa." she answered then looked to what she was doing, the body practically moving on its on. Her eyes fading into a duller expression for a moment. "I was allowed time to read. I discover literature that detailed basics of cooking. It was simple really. I memorized every recipe in the book. Unfortunately, with the lack of fresh ingredients... this will have to do." she paused for a moment. "Please do not allow me to intrude. You both seemed to be have a nice conversation so I do not want to ruin that. Please do not mind me." Ashral blinked a bit and then smiled faintly. "I guess that answers that, huh?" she comment off-handedly. She drained the water from the pot and added the sauce. Giving it a taste, she stared at the pot in slight surprise. "It's.. good." the food being surprising good for being made on the fly with such little ingredients. She moved to grab plates and silverware, she divvyed up the food between them and then put the plates on the table in the small dining room. Sitting down, she began to eat, shifting her eyes to Ree now and again. "What about your parents?"
PostPosted: Fri May 13, 2016 10:11 pm

//Muramasa... huh//

He blinked as he almost spotted the slight change between Ashral and Hexxis, as the cat blinked and looked back at them. Odd. Hm..he would have to ask Hexxis later if she actually liked cooking, now that she could taste what she did. He was curious, he could cook but it was mostly following recipes and try around when ever the mood hit him.

He smiled faintly, wondering almost what Hexxis was thinking out of all of this. Was she as curious about him of Ashral? or did she know this already? if she did he would assume she would have given at least some mention to Tri..so maybe she was learning just as he was.

"Okay "he gave her a faint nod, still smiling as he looked down at the food that had been divvyed up between them. Grabbing the second can of olive as the first once was pretty much gone, he took another bowl and divvied up those as well. "Actually..what does she think of her own cooking?" he asked curiously moments before Ashral asked about his own parents. He grimaced both physical and emotional pain as he sat down before looking at the bowl hungrily.

The cat now almost black flowed around the pots dipping its head down into one of the empty ones to "smell" nope no smell. "mrrrow?" looking up

"uh ......" he looked faintly disconcerted from the living room and shook his head. "Don't do that..."

It flicked its tail and moved back to him, literally just jumping at him and disappearing.

".........I think I hate myself. Anyways..." he looked sick for a moment as he focused on Ashral. " There is Tri... and I don't know my second parent. Supposedly Tri, Mara and her group were out hunting a meta who had been killing humans in an area near um...doesn't matter. " he shrugged tiredly. "Mara and one other person survived but the rest of the team was wiped and Tri had also gone missing. It was nearly 2 months later when he just reappears with my egg ...his collar was broken and a tale of someone who picked him up and healed him. He never told me who the other person is was or what they were like... so I think Mara picked up the slack there in raising me. " There was a bitter look on his face as he glance down at the food and brightened, eating carefully but quickly. "Not saying that they are bad. It pisses me off... but I still care for them" he said quickly with a hint of concern, since he was talking to Ashral...the one who likes to go stabbity on Tri.

She watched the cat curiously, not sure what it was doing or what it meant. He had mentioned using to see the real her, but that didn't make much sense to her, not understanding the power. She looked at him in the eyes then off to the side for a moment, "It is an acceptable source of refueling... I am.. impressed by my own natural skill for the craft. I would like to expand upon it and explore this innate ability I seem to possess." Ashral sighed in annoyance, "What the robot means, is she likes her own cooking and wants to cook some more stuff in the future. Jeez, Hexxis, I don't see why you need to over complicate everything."

She listened to him talk of his parents. Tri had kept his other parent from him and Mara had helped raise him. No wonder they kind of reminded her of...... of what again? The memory was way too foggy to remember what her mind was trying to pull at. She felt for the situation, but she also found parents unneccesary in her own situation since she had Shogu. But Ree... he had nobody else but them to rely on. How cruel. "Maybe we could find your other parent..." she suggested, shifting her eyes the the food, eating it slowly, in deep thought about it all. "I can help you find your missing parent... and you can... uhm... help me find Shogu." she frowned slightly in embarrassment for even asking. "I just.. have a lot to tell him that I regret not saying when I was alive... so if he's around somewhere, I'd want to revisit that chance again..."
PostPosted: Sat May 14, 2016 2:47 pm

Ree looked at her/them? bewildered as he kept on eating. This wasn't bad at all and Hexxis's comment made him smile faintly in turn. She wanted to learn to cook...no, she wanted to improve her cooking. That is something he had to remember, when they got back he cou-....

Swallowing he stared at what was left in the bowl blinking back the onset of pain and sorrow before taking another bite, looking down as Ashral talked. There really was no going back now, there was no way he could clear his name when he didn't even know what to look for an no one wanted the truth.

"Shogu? I could help with that.Kae told me once that we are basically immortal...so at least dying of old age is unlikely. Maybe I could look around where you both used to live? " he said tiredly as he finished eating the rest of the bowl and looked up. "Uh...at least after we can find Tri and Mara..." he trailed off. "Thank you..."

Ashral finished the food and then looked to Ree as he mentioned being near immortal, which was nice to know but there were too many things that could end his life even taking old age out as a factor. He seemed to question where she used to live, she place a hand on her head, trying to think. Anything that would help her to remember where that was. Did she even remember where she came from? She hopped down from the chair she was seated in, and went in search of paper. After a few moments, she returned, coming to a kneel next to Ree as she put the paper on the ground and began to draw a map that looked similar to Tretera. She then drew an "X" just north of Belrad, in between there and Aldas. "I... I think we grew up here... just outside of Khares. I'd know it if I was there. There's a huge tree there that my brother and I played around a lot when we were very young. Made a good hiding place." she stood, handing him the crudely drawn map she made. "If there's anything.. it's there." she mentioned. He spoke of Tri and Mara and she frowned almost in a bit of annoyance and angry, lowering her head. She moved to open her mouth to say something but hesitated.

Hexxis' voice suddenly interjected, "We will find them. I had Zira bring us as close to Aldas as possible since it is the last known location of Tri and Mara. We can start looking around here, I doubt the renegades would have gone too far. Especially if they..." she paused, not sure what to say. Closing her eyes and taking a deep breath. She opened only her right eye, and stared calmly at Ree. "It is in our better interest to rest up as much as possible before pursuing them. If we are needed for battle, we will need as much strength as we can muster. I don't want... I don't want to lose Tri because we weren't strong enough or we were too reckless about our actions. That may work for you, but it does not for me. I am far too used to calculation to deviate much from what I set in motion. I plan to accommodate when need be, but making decisions sporadically and in combat situations is not something I favor doing." she explained with a dull look on her face. "Please excuse my intrusion into the conversation, it did not seem like Ashral would have had anything nice to say, so I figured I would save her the embarrassment of saying something she may later regret. I hope you can forgive me..."

Her face softened into one of regret as she looked away from Ree. "...sorry... I just really don't like Tri...or Mara... But I will still help find them since they are important to you both...."
PostPosted: Sat May 14, 2016 11:29 pm

Ree looked down at the map quietly, staring at the area that would amount to quite a bit of flying between Belrad and Aldas looking for a ..tree. "....The tree might be gone by now" he said quietly not noticing the change in personality until Hexxis's voice in her formal speech pattern took over. Blinking he looked up at her with a slight tilt of his head as he listened.

Ouch, a not to subtle jab at what happened back at the base. It was warranted but he wasn't reckless all the the time. Even with the car, that was planned even if the violent reaction wasn't what he was expecting...never taking into account the larger speed.

He sigh softly and rested his head on his hands as he looked toward her. "Thank you" he said quietly grateful to Ashral before trying to addess Hexxis. "I see. I am not always reckless though " he said quietly. "Yet, back at HQ we didn't have the time, energy or resources to lay out a good plan either. I didn't set things up to help you escape that day." he admitted " I went in to grab some information and go out, before realizing none of you knew you should be escaping. " a flicker of frustration . "HQ would eventually go on high alert the next day and when they drop it, it would be long past the time where we would be doing Mara or Tri any good" he frowned, trying not to think of the thought that they might already be to late.

" Tri would have been perfect to get you all out with a minimum of fuss. I can't. I need help" he said looking at her intently. " Help from both of you. If you a have a plan that works I will follow it, I just hope you will listen when I suggest something and I will do the same. " he paused watching her. "Improvise only when the plan dissolved.. because no matter how well we planned unless we have inside sources we won't be able to prepare for everything. Like (criel) being teleport into parley" he wrinkled his brow faintly, knowing she never said that she didn't he just felt the need to elaborate and then of course (criel) .... if he look he could see find his blood stains.

"Resting... I should have done that before sneaking into base.... I got shot up when my powers failed" he muttered breaking contact and closing his eyes. Stupid so stupid and it wasn't as if he knew where they were when he rushed. If he held down his impatience they might have been able to get Hexxis and the other would without anyone dying.. or him losing the information. "Which was stupid... dangerous... risky. And I lost the information on suspected renegade bases. So I don't know where to start. Other than some suspected renegade sympathizers. So yea...resting." he sighed moving from the plan in general to his own failures and well... damn it well Hexxis and Ash got out from the third level without help and carrying Leukos and Melody part way there. HQ would be on alert now and finding Mara or Tri can help them pull out the other two. " Thank you for cooking, it tasted good" he looked up trying to give her a faint smile as he pulled away and started to pull the two plates he used together. "In 4-5 hours give me the rest of your wounds and i'll start healing them. If you have a plan just throw it out? "

"I see... so you don't intend to be reckless, it just happens. I will take that into consideration. I'd rather have some kind of plan before acting. Sometimes it is better to wait for the right opportunity but I foresaw the same problem you did back at SIU, so I'm sorry that I may have caused a bit more unpredicability than I meant to. Even though we had to leave the others behind, I feel that the two of us can find Tri and Mara. Together." she answered, trying to lessen her earlier blow as she hadn't meant for it to sound so mean, but it just came out that way with her objective thought process. She thought for a moment, "Maybe it's best to find a starting place. Like where I was found or what Ashral can remember of our time with them."

Ashral was quiet for a bit, "I can recall quite a bit from that time, but I don't know who was saying what. I just.. heard jumbles of things... my memories are usually kind of a mess." she paused, "Hexxis, can you help me decipher them? I can think about all of, let you hear it all, and you can figure out what's important and what isn't. I know you can do that thing where you over-analyze and you remember pretty much everything..."

She nodded calmly, her face dull and expressionless almost constantly now, as she moved to sit on the ground, closing her eyes and concentrating.

"They.. didn't know that Andy was alive, as well that Andy did not know that she was sent to a renegade base."

"They.. deactivated the inhibitors and were perplexed at the number of inhibitors that I wear." she lifted her hands slightly, motioning to the wrist ones she still had on from her old set as the only one that was replaced was the collar. "Michael removed them completely. There was another male voice, he asked Zaku and Andy to help him heal me."

"Zaku was apprehensive after finding out it was me. Andy begged them to help me. Zaku told her it was fine, that she didn't need to beg since they would help me either way, and said they had 30 minutes to heal me before they had to move to the next hideout. He told them to leave at that time and that he would stay with me when SIU came for me." her face looked confused for a moment at the idea.

"Insane... The other male suggested they leave me with a note. That Cordelia would never let Zaku stay with me."

"It seemed that Michael and Andy were arguing. Michael claimed that Andy might have been the one to kill me and only wanted to heal me out of her own guilt." she paused then sighed, "Another female,... Michael's sister... I recognize her voice, the one that I fought in the hallway when they attacked SIU. She knew of my fighting skill and suggested they restrain me. Michael obliged very willingly."

"Then.."

"Leukos..... he showed up and began to call my name... I heard him then. They were trying to restart her heart and he spoke directly to me. Saying that I needed to wake up. I remember that.... They started her heart then prepared to leave. Andy asked about Blaise and Kylar. And.. they said to raise a flag so that Blaise would know what to do. Andy protested leaving us there, but Zaku explained that Hexxis is not a subject of SIU's... she is.. or was.. a member of SIU. They could not take her with them and would have to leave her there so that SIU could find her. He.. understood that Hexxis was not an orphan..."

"Then I woke up and Leukos was still there."

"Where was that base?"

"That was the base that Ree found me in... it's inside Aldas, we won't be able to get to it with the borders closed."

Hexxis opened her eyes, her gaze fixated on the floor as she thought for a moment. "I would suggest going there and possibly trying to find any substantial evidence there but that would definitely be difficult with the borders being closed into Aldas." she sighed and looked up to Ree. "It seems we are at an impasse."

She stared at him with a deadpan face, "I will have healed one of the wounds by then, will you be alright if I give you back the rest of the injuries. Maybe it is best to give you half of what is left at that time. I can heal myself slowly over time, but I do not want to put too much strain on you as well."
PostPosted: Sun May 15, 2016 7:22 pm

He shook his head to say that her unpredictability managed to get her out and even if the other two were captured, if Kae was there they should be safe for a little while long. Another stupid thing..not trying to get into contact with Kae first.

He smile faintly as she said together, his wings relaxing slightly as he looked at her, focusing on her left eye to get any visual cue outside of syntax on who was speaking. "SIU would have scour that area pretty good hoping to get clues too, or DNA. Mara was pretty set on trying to get a bit of Zaku's DNA." he stopped as they started talking, reaching out to take the piece of paper and pencil ash had found and flipped it over so the map was downwards and started to write main points.

Andy ...oh goodness Andy. That was not a name he had been thinking about in quite a while, even so he was sure the hunt for her and Kage had not actually stopped.

-can deactivate inhibitors quickly and remove them. Both Michael?
-30 mins to leave when they think they have been exposed. No wonder none finds them
-Zaku, apprehensive of Hexxis but still helped. Continued to be scared of her after injury?
-Zaku, willing to stay until SIU arrived. Crazy? Powerful? Tricky?
-Michael and Andy. not very good view of previous Andy?
-Andy. Memory repression still holding. Kage and Blaise was not with them
-Flags. Confirmed code/directions
-Zaku truely did understood he was healing an enemy and still did it. Was it to prepare for parley as Tri thought? Other reason?
-Orphen.... Would he take in orphans? .... Adding in spy:long term

Tapping the pencil against the table he looked up again. "Resting long enough.....I can get into and out of Alda without problem. They haven't excatly closed of sunlight from coming in. " he gave a faint grin. "However taking you would be harder . Even flying we can show up on their radar if we go to high or be seen from below if we go to low. I can Shroud us in darkness ... but if it is only to see, it makes no sense both of us taking the risk. " he looked at her quietly before making a face. "Okay ..half by that time. " he hope he was ready, food will help but dang it healing was never really a skill he had been forced to use that much before now,

Hexxis watched him write down things and analyzed the data before looking around the room for a second with her blue eye closed. Her bland face searching for something almost out of realization. The stocked food. The furnished home with no one seeming to have been living here. Dishes. No one for miles. She stood up and ran off down the hallway into one of the bedrooms, noises could be heard of her moving things around and tossing things to the floor a bit. She then went into the next bedroom and did the same. Then it fell silent. After a few moments, Hexxis returned with a rolled up poster of some sort and a box under her arm as she moved to the table and spread out the poster to reveal a map. "This is one of their hideouts..." she spoke calmly, looking over the map of what seemed to be Aldas and it's surrounding area, there were red circles that lined the map. "It seems there are 20 hideouts in total marked on the map. 15 of them in the city, and 5 of them outside of the city." she then moved to open the box, the colored flags that they had found out about were present. "...my assumptions were correct."

"Does that mean we can find them now?"

"Not without checking each of the hideouts. As far as I can tell, there are no indications on the map to the correlation of flag colors. I cannot decipher a pattern." she sighed, staring down at the map. After a few more moments, she looked to Ree. "It's best that we not go together into the city. Your teleportation will be useful for getting into the city. Maybe... if we split up we can cover more ground that way. You can check some of the hideouts in the city, and I can check ones outside the city. That is, if you are okay with such a plan. We do have the comms, if you think it will still work at that distance. Either way, I would like to hear your input on it." she offered up and waited for Ree to give his opinion on the matter. She nodded as they agreed he would take half of her remaining injuries in 4 to 5 hours, and was relieved that he wasn't going to push for more.

"What?!" He looked up and stared around the house then toward the kitchen. Taking note of everything Hexxus had seen as well with a look of amazement. He was to tired to even give it much though other than it was maybe one of those houses that had been near a danger zone and people were forced to evacuate. Which giving it thought ...was not better.

".... " he stared at the map Hexxis brought back and the box, the flags? "...Wow. A miracle...just a miracle " he said softly, not masking the utter surprise he was feeling. If they were still back at SIU this map would have been gold. "Just...wow" feeling a sense of relief and excitement pushing against the exhaustion and pain.

"20... And 5 outside the city. Hm. " his gaze a little brighter now as he took note of the locations and glanced at the flags then back to the map, not seeing a pattern either. Were they all also fully furnished with a set up of food and maps? Where were the Renegades getting their funds? Now that was something he would like to know.

"The comms won't work that far and I would rather we not split up encase there is trouble. We should check the 5 outside first then the other 15 inside. If there are problems we will have at least 4 others places to hide out at. " reaching up he touched the comm that was still on his ear and pulled away. "If we find them inside the city, you will already be in a position to act. Then I can contact you and we can decide from there" He asked curiously, waiting to see what she thought about it.

She listened to his opinion on the matter, considering the options for their plan. "That would produce more favorable results if an attack is imminent. That may be best as they already know of me and my dangerous abilities, having fought three of their members.. one of them being Zaku Shiori." Her eyes darted over the map, memorizing every piece of it as she sighed and came to a stand. "We should move bases in 5 hours if you are able to. Go to the next base. I suppose the best way to learn about one's enemy is to act just like them." she moved back into the bedroom and laid down. "I... don't exactly feel safe entering a sleep mode in our current condition even if I know that might affect my ability to fight if need be. My.. cycles might cause distressing dreams." she stared off for a moment with a blank expression. Especially after everything that had happened, she knew it was almost guaranteed for her to have nightmares if she slept. "You should at least sleep. Even for a few hours so you will be ready to take on wounds and move to the next location."
PostPosted: Mon May 16, 2016 4:39 am

"I would rather move base now " he muttered looking at the map then picking up the list and folding it to put in a pocket. "Two days with your inhibitor throwing out a GPS signal and no response is not normal. " he replied and picked up the map and box. Moving and sliding the map behind one of the furniture and slide the box under it before joining Hexxis in the bedroom. If moving wasn't such a chore right now he might have pushed for it, but he really needed to rest.

"Nightmares? " he question curiously as he carefully laid face down, using his arms as a pillow as he slide his wings up but hesitated extending them over Hexxis.

Hexxis thought for a moment on whether they should go or stay. If they had been tracking them this whole time, they would have made a move by now. And even if they were there, they were waiting for something. A few more hours would not hurt much. Besides, they were aware of SIU probably coming for them, so they would be prepared. Rather wait it out and heal and be ready if they did attack then move now, set them off and still be too weak to fight.

"Rest." she decided.

She nodded slowly as he asked if it was nightmares. "I can get... violent. Mostly on myself." she explained calmly, closing her eyes. Normally she didn't fall asleep easily but she seemed fairly tired. She began to hum Ashral's song quietly as she lay there under his wing. Comforted by the motion as she imagined it as Tri's wing, the way he did to calm her at times. She frowned a bit, showing a little emotion but it quickly faded as the song trailed off and she fell asleep.
