Well, that pointed to pretty clear...sudden increase in libido. So. There was that.
"Anything else you've noticed what's different? Fever, itching, trouble breathing, change in bowel s**t."

Lawrence shook his head. "Like I said there was a lot of throwing up in the infirmary and I've been a little tender on what I can eat since but it seems to be mostly from the damage." He gestured at the base of his ribcage right down to the terminal end of the scars under his clothes. "It was fairly extensive. I assume much of it is down to that. No fevers, no itching, strange dreams but I think that was the opiates, they have since mostly ceased other than the Blue Kingdom ones but I am told there is a reason for those."
He shrugged. "The more I lay it out the more I realise something has to be different somewhere. I feel more out of control and impulsive."
And that was saying something, he was already very very very impulsive.

"Yep," Harrison said shortly, "And I keep memories both ways. Same as you two." He gave them both a downright charming grin and made a check on his paper.
"His weapon changed," Rodney volunteered softly.
"Changed? How? Good change? Or is it broke?"

Lawrence didn't risk saying anything about Blue Kingdom, vaguely invested in no version of him in any universe coming to any undue harm. In that world Harrison was the boss and could probably be vindictive if his dreams were rendered too unpleasant every night.
"It just grew." he said regarding Butch and this time without warning Rodney beforehand (because he had said it was fine) he summoned the claws in a swirl of ghostly energy and held them up in an emphatic shrug. "Nothing too special." he said.

Rodney seemed alright this time, and stayed sitting quietly.
Harrison had seen Butch before, fortunately, and grinned wider. "Hey, congratulations. Heard you got a promotion, too. That's what I was talking about, seems like it all paid off. ...But uh...I'd say that and the libido thing are probably not related. I mean, hell, it might be. But I never heard of one thing causing the other."
"Is there any way to help?" Rodney asked.
"Well," Harrison said, staring at everything he'd written down which had in his vast experienced always been handed off to someone who knew what the ******** they were looking at. "I can uh. Get your vitals and do some bloodwork. Like I did last time. Maybe get some swabs? I'll go get a kit. I mean, are you just worried something's up, or do you want to try to get a tamper on the symptoms?"

Lawrence desummoned Butch again with a flourish. "Yes." he said. A promotion. It was strange to think that it had happened at all. He'd gotten lucky but he'd also learned to associate luck with nothing more than a heavier blow when karma caught back up to him.
"I don't care about the symptoms." he said, even though it had put Rodney in danger and in some ways himself. "I just want to know I am not dying this time." A reprieve might have been nice, but a reprieve as always something he thought would be nice and never actually got.

"Not sure they would have worked anyhow, considering what you said about the morphine," Harrison said, leaving to go get said kits. He snapped on a pair of gloves and got a swab from Lawrence's nose and the back of his throat. He also filled a trio of vials of blood.
Two cups, and some sterile wipes sat ominously on the counter, without any swabs anywhere nearby.
"Bathroom's around the corner, if you want to fill these up. Now, if you change your mind symptoms-wise, I wrote down some weirdass over the counter s**t. Which I'm not technically supposed to be recommending. Uh. Let's see. If you're opposed to meds, this one's some kind of herbal thing, don't think it could hurt to throw in there."
He handed over the little paper, which had Vitex agnus-castus written on it.

Lawrence submitted to the swabs with his usual cat like indignation and with even more indignation took the cups.
"As long as it isn't medicine." he said, deeply and bitterly suspicious of medicine which had any effect on his brain after the years he had had to deal with being science's psychological guinea pig trying to rein in his issues.
He left to the bathroom and returned a startlingly short time later and set the samples on the table, crossing his arms and putting his back to them in what was almost a childishly huffy sort of gesture.
"Thank you for your help." he said, but it was with the same sarcastic edge as a child thanking a teacher in a sing-song voice. He glared at Rodney for no reason in particular.

Harrison picked up the bag with said samples.
"My pleasure as always, coming out here for free to do s**t nobody appreciates," Harrison said, folding over the top. "I'll be back with your numbers."
Rodney seemed slightly upset at the glaring, radiating what was mostly a high concentration of concern.

Two days later a notice is sent out to Lawrence and anyone he's associated with in a potentially sexual manner. It requests they check in with the infirmary for testing, as well as their recent sexual history and an order not to participate in any form of intercourse until they've been cleared.
The diagnosis : It appears that Lawrence is now sterile and potentially can spread sterility to others. There's concern that they, too, will be able to act as hosts for spreading this new, likely Famine created, disease. The research is now being headed up by the Breeding Program.

Some of the tests took longer than others. The metabolic panel was done pretty quick, and those results Harrison had in immediately.
"We got to wait on the others," he said, sitting down with his piece of paper.
He also had a chintzy looking bottle with purple flowers and greenery on it labeled HERBAL SUPPLEMENT. It made some vague claims without making any actual treatment promises, along with the bizarre assertion that it was GLUTEN FREE.
Written on the top was the word, Chasteberry.
He handled that over.
"Now, your panel looks a lot better. A lot of your s**t's back in order. See. All the little numbers match. ....Most of them."

Lawrence eyed the panel with a critical eye, not certain of human base values but able to see the very marked differences from the last one he'd had done while out of control of things. Things were once again out of control but in a completely different direction and he found himself wondering if maybe it was just being a hunter, maybe this was what happened and he'd only never noticed because he'd been putting so little energy into his body.
It raised a lot of questions and didn't give too many answers.
"Looks normal, more or less, at least for me." Holding it out to Rodney to take he picked up the bottle to look at it. At least it didn't look like science in the slightest.
"So in short, we have no idea." he said.

"In short, I'm hedging it's something, but you're going to have to wait on the labs to see if they got an idea of what." Harrison leaned back against the counter.
Rodney took the sheet to be polite, but had no idea what he was looking at. He held it for Lawrence instead.
"Otherwise you're looking healthier, and Butch got through his change. Tell me how that herbal s**t works out for you. I'll, I dunno. Text you or some s**t for when you can come pick up results. You can probably just get them yourself." Since Lawrence actually worked here.
Doing actual Doctor s**t.

"Look its just always far more legitimate going through people in good standing. No one suspects I'm up to something when I deal with you, it's just a straight up question. No one can accuse me of doctoring results or put things off-limits."
He shook his head. "I appreciate your help for what little that is worth."
Shrugging, he headed to the door. "Would be better if you didn't whine so much though."

"Wow," Harrison said, raising his eyebrows. "A genuine thank you. Would be better if you compensated me a little, but hell, I'll take what I can get." Harrison looked over at Rodney. "...How about you, you need anyone checking your vitals?"
Rodney reddened and pulled the neck of his sweater even higher up his neck. "No," he answered softly, slipping down to the floor. He folded the paper into a neat square, and pocketed it. "But thank you." He was still looking at Lawrence with an inordinate amount of concern.
"Yeah, yeah." Harrison wasn't sure when this had become a thing. Maybe he should put in for an Underground Medical Advisor specialty.
