It made her chuckle when Ilyra put her tongue out as a response. Had she thought to tease her some more she might have said something more but Ming was just happy to hear that she agreed on the shelter.
Her fun was short lived, however, because then she heard Ilyra say that she wasn't sure if she wanted to go back. That meant that there was a part of her that wanted to. Ming'we sighed and looked away. She still couldn't see why anyone would want to go back there. A pure bred might fit in just fine but anyone with something different would be an outcast. Just as she had been. When she was younger it hadn't been such a big deal. Ming had always just smiled and brushed it off.
She brought a hand up to rub at her upper arm.
"Oh." It wasn't much but then again she wasn't sure what to say. The hate filled speech in her mind would only make Ilyra upset, she was sure, and she had no love for the Alkidikes and their ways to share. So that left silence.
