Ninfia felt bad that Fluffl hadn't visited any other booths. Though Ninfia hadn't had a chance to get to many other booths themselves, Tieldad had offered to give his spiced cupcake to Fluffl which, they had gotten for him at the Hot Shots booth.
Placing the cupcake on the counter, the bird child motioned for Fluffl to come over. "Tieldad and me thought you should have this! Since we knew you liked baking we thought another baked good might put a smile on your face!" They smiled and looked back at Tieldad, who gave a loud, happy chirp of approval.

“Ah! That's wonderful.” Autumn's cheeks glowed. She thought suddenly of Eyzaak, Akkira, and some of the other children of the Salamire Outpost. She wondered if they would all still be friends when they were older. Then her gaze went to Caterpal. They had their spats and argued nightly for sure, but despite all that he was undoubtedly her very best friend. “What do you think, Cat?”Caterpal flashed his tail. He thought it sounded sappy. Autumn laughed and returned her attention to Fluffl. “Has Puchen changed much since you were wigglers?”

Booth is reset! Since there were only two of you, RP response time! biggrin
A foreign cupcake appeared on the counter. "Oh!" He slapped his forehead. "Ah, I didn't mean to imply you should get me something! That's so nice of you though, thanks!" He looked around the booth and then leaned in conspiratorially. "I'd better eat this quick or Puchen might think I'm consorting with the competition!" He bit most of the frosting off of the cupcake, with about half of the base. "Mm! Spicy!"
Without flinching, he finished it off and tossed the wrapper into the garbage. "Ahh! Thanks, kid!" Fluffl gave an exaggerated pat to his stomach.
You chose B's secondary option (which I forgot to give a letter!) +3 points!

A) "We were both a part of the same hivestem block. Puchen's lusus is so pro-military that it meant being close to the base, even if she ended up in a lowblood domicile. The little redblood practically skipped up to the counter today. They had made Fluffl very happy yesterday and dang did it feel good. Ninfia loved doing nice things for other trolls especially lovely ones like Fluffl and Puchen!
When they arrived at the counter Ninfia noticed the blueblood didn't seem to mind their company today. Maybe they hadn't made her as mad as they had thought the other day. Grinning widely Ninfia waved to Puchen and Fluffl before speaking up. "Hey do you guys need any help today? Tieldad said I could if you'd like!"

The following night, Autumn returned to watch the blueblood work. The former military captain seemed less terse than usual, and Autumn saw it as an opportunity. Leaning against the counter, though careful to keep out of the blueblood's workspace, she asked, “What was your childlhood like, miss?” She had heard a bit from the greenblood before, but she was interested to hear it from the blueblood's perspective. Not to mention, she was curious if baking had ever been in her career plans! Sypon I'd like a coupon, please! CAEK!

A) Puchen gestures for you to come behind the station. “Get some gloves. You can frost those cookies. We’re behind schedule! Choose whatever color you like. This is Bloodfest, so go nuts.”
Fluffl smiled. +2 points!
B) “Excuse me?” Puchen seems disappointed and irked at your answer. “Other than the fact that he’s my friend and moirail and happens to be one of the few decent trolls left on Alternia?” +0 points.
C) “Childhood? What’s that?” Puchen jokes, her tone cutting. “I was preened and prepped for greatness from the time my lusus snared me in the caves. You seem like a nice enough kid. Enjoy your time at Bloodfest, and your younger years. Hell, take a freebie and don’t forget to eat it in one bite.” +1 point!

Ninfia had gleefully helped out with the booth yesterday! They eagerly spread all of their favorite bright colors of icing on the cookies. They smiled widely everything the cookies were bought or someone complimented them. Life just couldn't get any better for the small bird child!
Needless to say they were a quite a bit sad when they realized today was the last day they could visit the booth. They had made some wonderful memories at this booth and they even thought of Puchen and Fluffl as friends now! Walking up to the counter Ninfia quickly wiped away the tears that were forming in their eyes and gave the biggest smile they could muster. While placing down a few of their last beetles for their last bag of macarons. Taking the bag from Puchen, they simply asked both of their new friends a question. "What makes you both the happiest?"

The baker's response was curt, but at least Autumn got a cookie out of it. And it was still better than the gruff responses than before. Dividing the treat in half, she shared with Caterpal, and thanked Puchen for her time. Bloodfest would be wrapping up soon (Autumn could hardly believe it had passed so quickly) and Autumn had dedicated a few hours in her final schedule to visit the Burning Bird Bakery once again. Many of the cakes and pastries had been sold, and she thought the booth looked a little lonely without them. Nonetheless, Fluffl and Puchen were working away. “So...” she sidled up to the counter. “Have you enjoyed Bloodfest? Are you glad you came?”

A) Puchen bit her lip. "Shoulda seen OHC comin'." She goes silent, and Fluffl wraps his arm around her. +1
B) Fluffl looks at Puchen and they stare at each other for a second before laughing. "Kid, when you're at your lowest low and there's someone in the pit with you, being with them makes you the happiest troll alive." +3
C) Puchen shrugs. "Well, it could've been worse. Got plenty of business. Plus you're not so bad of company considering all the other ingrates I have to deal with regularly." +2

Ninfia smiled a wide smile. It was so good to see these two laugh. They had been working so hard all of Bloodfest and the little bird child valued that greatly but, also believed that sometimes it was best to just laugh it off too! They smiled taking their bag of macarons over to Tieldad before waving to the two. "Hope to see you two around again soon!"

Autumn positively glowed at the compliment. The blueblood had a tough exterior, and while beneath that she may not have been warm and cuddly, she did have a certain amicable quality. Her words were not as harsh as they seemed. At the very least, Autumn was glad that she had made a good impression. She could not wait to tell Byakko. “It was a pleasure meeting you both!” she said, with a curtsy. She gave Caterpal a look, suggesting he do the same. The grub bobbed in the air. “And maybe I'll see you next Bloodfest?” Oh yes. She definitely planned on coming back.

Puchen's lip twitched into something of a smile. "Yeah, stop by Civisect Mall sometime. I actually wouldn't mind seeing you there, kiddo. Bring friends!" She reached into her pocket and produced something. "Hey, I don't really pay kids for helping out at the booth, but I think I've got some junk if you want something shiny to play with." Puchen hands you a broken piece of technology!  If you collect some repair parts, your troll will receive custom lusus art! "Yeah, thanks for hangin' out. Fluffl liked the company." She stated. Fluffl balked. "You did too! You even commented that you liked her hair." "No I didn't. Hey, didn't you win a cake or something? Here, get outta here, kid." Fluffl produces for you the cake you were eyeing! You won the last Cakewalk! Puchen also hands you some repair parts!
