It's Time to Da-Da-Da-DANCE!!
Troll Competing: Elidae Bonbon
Total Points: 4!

Even still bothered by what Chiara had said to her at her booth and on top of her being one of the most troublesome trolls she's had to endure, Elidae for some reason wound up back at her booth. She looked to the blueblood with a pleasant enough smile, but her eyes were narrowed. She knew what kind of troll she was.

"Muuusic~" She sang, looking over her shoulder at the blueblood. Surprisingly, what played was but another popular song she heard often in the salon. She knew all the words and often danced to it on her own time! Wasn't her favorite, but it still got her going. Tapping her foot, Elidae began to dance. Hm! She recalled seeing something on the tele that might have been good inspiration for her dance! Well, sort of. She tried, but it wasn't all that great.

Her attack move, she had to admit, was pretty spectacular. That dummy had it coming! But in exchange, Elidae was entirely wore out by the end of it and couldn't muster up the energy to end her routine with a bang. No matter.

"How was that? Also I-huff- made a bracelet for you~" Elidae called, a few pants in the middle of her words. Tossing over a beaded bracelet (half yellow, half blue) she made earlier at another booth in Chiara's direction, Elidae winked and tossed her hair to the side. "See, its yellow like me, and blue like you! Aren't the colors pretty together?" Was that a mocking tone? What was she trying to get at here? Elidae sure was bad at hate flirting.

There were lots of songs on that CD, but for some reason Sascha and the howling cat beats just went together so well! Amazingly, despite the music choice, Sascha preformed excellently. "Ooooh Sascha, are you trying to set up a partnership with me with those moves? You just wanna spend more time with me don't you?" Chiara teased the yellowblood. She put a star next to his name.

Chiara eagerly waved at the half dressed redblood again. Really, the more skin showing the better the audience liked it. Its like this guy already knew. "Go Opimus!" Chiara shouted to the troll as he started up. When his act was over Chiara winked and handed him a card voucher for "Private Dance Lessons" from Chiara herself.

Chiara was mesmerized by Eridia's performance. The blueblood stared, enjoying the entire performance. When Eridia finished Chiara cheered loudest of all. Eridia was defiantly dance battle material. "Pfft! You would blow the audience away if you got on stage. You trying to give everyone a heart attack?!" Chiara put a star next to her best buddie's name.

Chiara quirked an eyebrow at Zindel as he danced. He was usually so flustered when he messed up on the stage, but it looked like the redblood was happy as could be. Something was wrong, Zindel was never happy, and Chiara didn't like it. Something had to be done.

Right on time the annoying orangeblood came back. Chiara looked at her name. "Faithe Keeper." The blueblood would have to stalk down this troll later. As the orangeblood danced Chiara just could not keep her black feelings up. The girl was so confident as she played and had fun. Yeah, Chiara definitely had to track this troll down. She was something.

Chiara watched the oddly decorated greenblood dance, his braids swishing with his movements. It struck Chiara as "puppy-like" how his braids swung with his dancing. "I like it Pup," Chiara said to the boy as he stepped off stage. "Come back again, ya hear?"

Chiara had seen this little troll before, the day before actually. Chiara watched, her grin growing. This was why she set up a dance battle booth, mostly for the laughs.

Then Elidae came up to the booth and blew the blueblood away. The attack was amazing, and Chiara held a hand to her side, where the yellowblood had struck the training dummy. When the yellowblood tossed the bracelet at Chiara she felt her heart beat black. That Elidae was something. Chiara put two stars next to her name on the clipboard and circled it.

"M-maybe.....I mean..." he fumbled awkwardly with his words. UGH! She made him such a bumbling ******** MESS!! He offered a sheepish, toothy grin instead as she returned to judging. He hadn't done well....he knew that perfectly well....but having Chiara notice him and.....had she flirted with him? His cheeks burned a toasty orange as he decided he definately liked the attention....so much so he could even over look the slight indignant twinge he felt when Kei IMMIDIATELY stepped up to...show him how it was done....or however she wanted to think of it. Surely she'd wanted to SAVE him in some way....but at least Chiara had been paying attention to him and not HER. Somehow he couldn't care less if everyone else had eyes only on his twin.

He steeled his nerves for a second go....winding up tripping not once, but twice. Both over the dummy as well as while attempting to scamper offstage in shame. He made ONE good move in the entire debacle.....ugh....why was he such a clumsy OAF around Chiara? "S....sorry....that was p-pretty bad..." he mumbled as he passed her, attempting to get out quickly. Ugh....he was just such a mess!!

Run-Away Nutbeast!
Amidst the festivities, you notice a nutbeast getting groovy on the dance floor. It approaches the training dummy in an energetic Charleston before dealing the hapless target a fierce and cringe-worthy uppercut! Nutbeasts are not an usual sight by any means, but this one is dressed up with a shell-shaped backpack. It looks like it could be somebody’s pet. If you can catch it, maybe the owner will give you a reward!

Rules:
To capture Shelly the nutbeast, all you need to do is quote Green Minuet in this thread. Whoever quotes Green Minuet first succeeds in catching her. Anyone else is considered to have lost her in the scuffle. Once you have caught Shelly, you must post in Lutrin’s booth in order to return her and claim your reward. If you have not returned Shelly by the rollover, she is considered to have escaped! Both capture and return posts may be reserved but must be filled out by 12:00am PST in order to redeem your reward.

Private dance lessons? Fellah was a little doubtful that he'd make a good pupil, but the redblood would try anything at least once! "Well gee, thanks miss. I'll definitely have to take you up on that offer." He thanked the blueblood, pocketing the voucher in his overalls.

Back again, Fellah was determined to combine what he'd learned over the past couple nights and dish out a decent dance battle for once.
Unfortunately, even with all that determination, Fellah just couldn't get the hang of it. Staring off...okay, things quickly dissolved when the redblood took a wrong step and got whacked in the face by the dummy again, this time resulting in a black eye.
With a sigh he stepped out of the ring. No one can be good at everything after all.

It's Time to Da-Da-Da-DANCE!!
Troll Competing: Cerpin Sugall (disguised as Mickey Yensid)
Total Points: 5

He'd practiced all afternoon before showing his face back here again. This time, he had even dressed up a little for the part by bringing a pair of pimped out sunglasses with spikes on the frames. He was going to kick a**, take names and rock this crowd all night. Snapping his fingers, he queued the music and smirked as a decent song came on. Clearing his throat, he did a quick twirl before spreading his arms in a power pose and singing to match the music.

"Everybodyyyyy- rock yo bodyyyyyy!" ******** yeah, he was getting into the groove of this. Dancing and music were some of his passions, outside of space and fashion. He was going to make a name for himself here, even if it was Mickey Yensid instead of Cerpin Sugall. A shap kick to the dummy landed pretty damn good and he smirked at the crowd as he worked that beat.

For his grand finale, he motioned for everyone to put their hands up before taking a step back, starting a run and diving straight into the crowd! Hands passed him around for a few seconds and he raised his fist up to the sky in triumph! It wasn't the best dance in the world but for a kid, it was pretty damn awesome!

Arniva was busy pacing across all of the booths, panicking. She was LATE. Mamaook made her LATE to Bloodfest! She was too mad, too busy panicking, to even stop and appreciate all the cool things that surrounded her. The sights, the lights, the smells, the yells.. everything was all too much for even her to take in all at once. As she finally settled down, she straightened out her dress.. deciding it was time to get serious. This was her first Bloodfest, and by darnit she was going to have FUN.. even IF she was late to it due to some freak fruit accident her mother had.

As she ran around the grounds, she noticed a booth that .... called to her. Dancing? DANCING? She LOVED to dance. She just ran straight to the booth, taking the time to glance at the rules. Not that rules mattered much to her in the long run, she just wanted to dance!

As the song came on, she pushed her way to the floor, beginning to strut her stuff as best as she could. She danced pass the squirrel, she crit that dummy, she... tripped.. and landed on her face. Ouch.

As she picked herself off of the floor, she glanced at the troll judging the booth. It.. it was Chiara. Hell. CHIARA saw her bomb. At her own booth!

Sascha made his regular trek up to the dance battling booth and-

"OH MY GOD ARE YOU KIDDING ME," Sascha shouted over the din of animalistic screeching that immediately started up upon his arrival. Sascha regretted ever thinking that having a theme song would be cool.

"Y'KNOW YOU'RE JUST GIVING ME PRACTICE TOWARDS ACING THIS 'SONG' OF YOURS!"

Sascha wasn't sure if he could even be heard over the noise. He eventually relented and hit the stage before he could miss the few tentatively melodic parts of the song.

Just as he was beginning his routine, a flash of white zipped across the stage. Sascha swung his leg to avoid stepping on it, and ended up doing a surprisingly graceful spin move. Uh. No harm, no foul, he supposed as he tried not to get distracted by the seadweller wrangling the squirrel offstage.

If the music Sascha was dance battling to was terrible, then he'd have to compensate with the battling part. Until then he'd been concentrating mostly on looking flashy, but clearly that wasn't cutting it (especially with Chiara's recent sabotage). Sascha allowed his tempo to slow as he carefully regarded the dummy's placement.

One, two, hup! Sascha took a running leap at the dummy. Red sparks crackled around his legs as he was held aloft just long enough to plant his kick upside the dummy's head. His momentum carried Sascha over to the other side of the dummy where he skidded to a stop... On his a**. Sascha waited for the music to end before bothering to get up. Mission failure. As least the dummy's head was crooked now.

It's Time to Da-Da-Da-DANCE!!
Troll Competing: Autumn Vikare
Total Points: 0

Autumn arrived at the dance booth just in time to witness Sascha's very mature outburst. Raising her eyebrows, she glanced over at her lusus. He met her gaze, and they shared a look. Talk about a foul temper. Still, Autumn felt a small surge of pity. The music, if it could even be called that, was awful.

As the yellowblood continued his performance, Autumn removed her coat and unfolded her wings. She let out a gasp at the bite of the winter chill. It was colder than she thought. She immediately considered putting her coat back on, but then reminded herself that she would warm up plenty on the dance floor. Besides she enjoyed the freedom to stretch her wings for what felt like the first time in eternity. They had been confined for far too long, and were beginning to cramp.

Tuning out the animalistic screams, Autumn focused on warming up. She rolled her wrists, her ankles, and her neck, and leaned from side to side. Satisfying popping sounds came from her spine and shoulder blades. All the while, she pumped her wings, starting slowly and gradually working her way up to a sharp buzz. As she raised her arms over her head, fingers laced together in one final stretch, the yellowblood on stage landed his conclusion to his performance. More precisely, he landed on his a**.

Autumn pursed her lips in an attempt to swallow a smile. Clapping politely, she did her best to keep from laughing. Caterpal had no such courtesy. His laughter came in squeaking bursts, accompanied by his erratically flashing tail.

Fluttering up onto the stage, Autumn brushed past the yellowblood. “My turn,” she said simply. She knew she had this in the bag.

As soon as she landed, the music began to play. Something delicate, ... she could do that. She struck a pose. She traced her toe in a circle. Then, ten seconds in the bass dropped. Autumn visibly cringed. It took all her effort not to clap her hands over her sponge clots. As the tempo jumped to double time, she struggled to keep pace. Still, she was beginning to get a handle on it.

Until a nutbeast scampered under her feet.

For one terrifying instant, Autumn thought she might fall. Her instincts kicked in however and one powerful pump from her wings had her airborne. Reflex took care of the rest. It was just like when she was playing with Caterpal—exactly like playing with Caterpal actually. Only this time, she sought to impress more than just her lusus.

Dancing half on the ground, and half in the air, Autumn prepared her attack, an airborne kick. She kept it simple, nothing fancy. After all she could not afford to hurt herself (and her performance) in the process of trying to pull off some daring manoeuvre. Thankfully, it went as she anticipated and the target dummy looked suitably damaged. Autumn spiralled high into the air in preparation for her finale.

That proved to be a mistake.

The winds were strong off the coast of Civisect, and a powerful gust sent her spinning. A second later she crashed back down onto the stage. Fortunately, she had not fallen far, but she had little doubt that she would find a couple of bruises, come next twilight.

Groaning, Autumn sat up. She pushed a loose of hair out of her face. Aware that she still had at least one pair of lookstubs on her, she rose to her feet. Then, taking her time she bowed and flounced off stage. She might have blown her finale, but she could at least be dignified about it!

It's Time to Da-Da-Da-DANCE!!
Troll Competing: Faithe Keeper/Etsali Azeban
Total Points: 4+1= 5

Faithe gave Chiara her usual little smile as she approached, waving a greeting to go along with it. She felt like she was having a pretty good night and, honestly, she was kind of looking forward to having a little more fun with it. Even if she hadn't been the best at it so far, dance battling certainly had met the fun qualification by leaps and bounds! She turned to move into the ring, then paused to come back, taking off her shoulder bag and settling it safely by the table. There was still some soup in there, wouldn't be any good to break the jar! Then she made her way in and waited for Chiara to start the music.

She bounced lightly as she did a quick stretch and then the song was starting, a little slow at first but ramping up into a catchy dance beat so quickly she could barely believe it. Her first movements were the same untrained motions she'd made every time already, an easy dance that went along to the beat without stressing about getting it perfect. But as she came around froma twirl the training dummy caught her eye again and an idea came to her.

This wasn't just a dance, after all, it was a battle! Maybe that was where she'd been going wrong all this time! She shifted her movements into something more controlled then, carefully decided on but still fluid because dodging was the name of the game in a real fight. A swipe here, to cut into an enemy, a duck to dodge around beneath an upraised sword, and when she came around to face the dummy again she was more ready than she ever had been in this booth. Surging with adrenaline, she charged the enemy with an attack that threatened to knock it over entirely.

As she backed off to prepare for another attack, tasting victory for all it was worth, her boot slid on the freshly fallen snow. And just like that her nearly perfect performance was over with her on her back. She gasped in a breath and then let out a full laugh. No wonder Zindel hung out around here. This was amazing.
