Kae was still talking to Mara, waiting on a response from Ree, it was taking a while, she wondered if Kage was just putting up more of a fight. She sighed, "Kylar... well, Kage. He is a shadow and has an ability to afftect memories and to lock and unlock anything." She watched as Mara was calming down, and possibly started to remember Tri. This was good, that mean it wasn't as permanent as Andy had been. Kae noted that in her mind in the limitations of his powers as another piece of that puzzle. "Ree took Zira and went after him. He should be coming back soon with h-.."
Hexxis is dead.
Her heart sank suddenly as her eyes widened. Did she just hear him right? No, he was supposed to be getting her back. Were they too late? Was Kylar such a threat that he had killed a child in cold blood. "..wh-what?!" she exclaimed then paused, not realizing she had said it out loud. She swallowed hard as she took a deep breath. Track her collar. GPS. Took her body. Zira's arm. The information filed in like data in her mind, like calculations to a bigger picture. She opened her mouth to call Zira to her, but stopped. No, she couldn't bring Zira missing an arm here into the room with Mara confused, Tri unknowning of the true situation, and Melody too young to handle such things. Panic and anger set in. What could she do. She needed to... track Hexxis. But why? They took her body. But. Why?? Nothing made sense, 'No.. .not again. I refuse to let these senseless killings keep happening. I can.. I will do something this time.' She reached her hand up to the comm to answer him,
"Ree, don't worry about Zira. Understand that her body is expendable. Give her your cellphone and tell her to go. I will do what you asked. Just get inside, let them deal with any damages. I'll meet you at my room and we will go from there." she instructed, her voice commanding like she was directing an army to the battle.
She let go of the comm and turned back suddenly to Melody. "Melody, stay here with Tri. Tri, if you leave this room, I will make you regret leaving them." she seemed to be in determined attack mode as she didn't even wait for a response as she waved her arm and everything blocking the door flew to the side and she ran out the door, slamming the door behind her. She bolted down the hallway, skidding around corners until she reached her room and threw the door open and sat down at the laptop on the desk, she began to type vigorously over the keyboard, windows opening and minimizing and closing quickly. She adjusted her glasses and pulled up files and boxes that showed lots of information on Hexxis. Then activated the GPS pulls of her inhibitors. She analyzed the data rapidly. Her face full of focus but showing flints of anger.
Melody furrowed her brows as Kae bolted from the room suddenly. She had a feeling something bad had happened to Ree's sister. She looked down to Tri and frowned. The girl.. Hexxis.. that was his daughter. She hoped everything was okay, but she knew that wouldn't be the case if Kae was running to meet him. She then turned to Mara, looking slightly scared as she rested a hand on Tri's arm, grabbing onto the fabirc of his coat in slight fear as Mara still had a gun. "...mara..?" she whispered as she felt the dread in the room subsiding slightly, which didn't help her fear much. She thought about what she could do, if she could talk to Mara somehow. Looking back down to Tri. "...t-tri say something... to her... " she spoke in a softer, more frail voice as she look like she might cry but was actually holding up fairly well for feeling so overwhelmed.

A shadow pooled up in front of Ree as Zira rose up from it, her shoulder not bleeding much anymore, wires exposed still as she looked down at Ree emotionless. She stared down at him, not sure what would be appropriate to say at this moment. "I take the blame." she stated simply. "I had misunderstood your initial request. I understand now that I have caused a series of events that led to her death. I... apologize." her face softened a bit but still remained rather dull. She stood there, unsure of what to do next as she watched him curled up into a kneel surrounded by his wings.

Ree, don't worry about Zira. Understand that her body is expendable. Give her your cellphone and tell her to go. I will do what you asked. Just get inside, let them deal with any damages. I'll meet you at my room and we will go from there."
Expendable...Kae was not part of the SIU but.. Zira was expendable? He knew if information came to Commander Arisel that Hexxis died in that crash he might be sad but in his mind metas were expendable in the goal of stopping the Renegades and any of the other bounties. However, he had not expected the same view from Kae.
Or himself.... Damn it! He had her -ARM- and she could be bleeding out even so he told her to retreat....with everyone a mess back there they might not notice she was ble-

Ree lowered the wings around him and looked up at her, moving to his feet he grabbed the arm from where he dropped it feeling even worse if that was possible as he looked at her... Truely looked at her. Still life?....wires? He moved to her shoulder and stopped his eyes red and slitted.
"Apology not accepted " he said quietly holding it the am to her, she didn't look alarmed or even worried about it...was she still life? If so was that why Kae said that. He just did not want another death because of a bad decision. "That was my order. It worked ....to well. Perfect if we were just trying to kill them not ... Not .. " he shook his head when his throat closed up, why was it different talking of the other three? Maybe because even as he said it he had never really expected to kill any one.
"Are you still life? ....will you be okay? I can heal you if you want.." it would take up his two artifacts but who cared, well she wasn't dead from blood loss so ..he was at a loss.
Pulling the phone from his pocket he held it out to her. "Kae told us to go after them. She will call with the coordinates " his voice steadying again, just as long as he kept his mind focused on something else. He wasn't going to let Zira go off after them with just one arm... He wasn't in the greatest condition either, he head hurt, his soul hurt and so did his wings and back but he was still better than nothing.

Mara listened intently, still not understanding why he would do this but maybe when this Ree caught him she could ask. That... That made her feel a little be- She jerked her head up even the Archangel on the floor looked up when Kae's voice changed from calming to suprised to one biting the edges of anger before she left. She tightened he grip in the gun as everything that had been placed ad a barricade went flying in Kae's hurry to leave. Why were there so many with powers... Why was she even associated with so many..it worried her.
Tri raised himself to his elbows as Kae spoke to Ree, telling him to come back before she threatened him and left. With that tone of voice it wasn't something he would think of disobeying usually....but Mara was alone and Ree was coming back and Hexxis was resting in her room..at least the ones he cared for the most were safe.
"..t-tri say something...to her..
Tri blinked and turned to look at Mara who was staring at the door uneasily then at melody who was staring at the gun in her hand. Not the beast time for Kae to run out. "Mara? " he said quietly, wanting to be on his feet for danger but seeing her so afraid, it was best if he stayed where he was. It wa so out of character for her to show fear or insecurities that it made him a little afraid too..but she remembered him, so it wasn't completely without hope.
He watched her turn to look at him and melody nervously and he lowered himself completely to the ground. "Could you ...please close the door? And if you don't mind..my injuries are hurting could I have one or both of your pillows until Kae comes back? " holding still as she nodded, even looking a little relieved as she dropped the gun on the bed and went to clos the door again and lock it before going to the bed to get the pillows.
"Melody... Could you turn on the tv? Look for something not to noisy but still for children? " giving her a task as well and hopefully they could both relax.

Zira blinked as the apology wasn't accepted. Yes, it was his order, and she followed it exactly, but had she understood the implication of the initially request, she could have adjusted to not only meet his command to cut the car, but also comply within the request to retrieve Hexxis safely. Either way, Hexxis was dead and her body taken. For whatever reason, it seemed that Ree had wanted it back. She nodded to the agreement that she had done exactly as he had wanted.
Are you a still life? Will you be okay?
"This body is that of a still life meta, yes. My parts are replaceable and I am able to still maneuver on my own. I will be fine." she reported as she took her detached arm and dropped it into the shadows below her, melding slowly then disappearing.
She took the phone from him and she dialed a number and put the phone on speaker.
A window pulled up on the screen as it connected the call. "Zira, task: retrieve the body of Hexxis. The inhibitors were turned off and the reactivated 27 minutes later both at the same location and is still there. I'm uploading the coordinates to the phone. Be on guard, this area is flagged to highly likely contain a renegade hideout, and knowing the ones that took her, it's likely that's where she is." she instructed. "Did Ree head back already?"
"Affirmative." she then looked to Ree, "He is still with me, and has intentions of going with me. Adjusting orders to include his safety. Priority over body retrieval."
"Alright, good. Good luck you two. I'll be monitoring your progress and you call me if you need anything or you run into trouble." she further instructed then hung up the call, she then plugged her phone into the laptop, downloaded some things to the phone the took the cord from the laptop and then reached up to plug it into the comm. She then made her way back to Mara's room.

Melody nodded and moved to the tv to turn it on, then looking around for the remote, finding it on the nightstand as she turned it to a cartoon channel. She then put the remote on the bed and stared at the gun with worry for a moment before moving back to Tri and sitting down next to him. She went back to trying to heal him, or at least put him at ease.
Knocking lightly she called softly through the door, "It's Kae... I'm back." she then opened the door slowly. Making sure that Mara wasn't pointing the gun and then came in the rest of the way, shutting the door behind herself. "Sorry about that..."
"Is she okay?" she asked in the moment, staring up at Kae with worry.
Kae hesitated, staring down at Melody with wide eyes as she asked about her. She then looked to Tri quickly to see if he caught on to what she had said. She really hoped he hadn't.

Ree blinked again, body? Kae said that as well when she mention expendability. A still life, if he was remembering correctly, could take a pretty could beating but they could still die or well have a more permanent death.
So why were they talking as if life was separate from the body? No....no...why was he even thinking about this? Zira said she was okay, he should leave it at that. Why was he so easily focusing on another subject? ...they were going for Hexxis's body ...the body ...okay he would rather think of anything else.
Ree said nothing just breathed and releasing in a rhythmic pattern as he listened quietly to the conversation between Zira and what he could hear of Kae. Wings tensed as Zira mentioned his presence there and his intentions of going, only to relax them a moment later when Kae just told them good luck.
Not what he expected either.
"Let's go then. They turned it off then on? Huh " he sounded very tired, mostly to do with his spirits than the complete lack of energy "Maybe they tried to heal her....failed and turned it on to tell us where to pick her up...so trap" Not daring to think of the other possibility. "Where to?" It shouldn't be to far if Andy already reached where ever.

Mara looked wary as she went back with the two pillows, her fingers curled into the fabric as she knelt down trying to force herself to trust.
"It's okay" there was a slight pain underlying those words as Tri took both pillows from her never looking her in the eye.
That made her feel worse when she finally back off. How did she trust him? Adopt him? He looks so ..suspicious and it made her nervous.
Pulling back she moved to the bed staring at both of them and glancing toward the TV before realizing staring at them wasn't going to help much in making her feel better. Slow she tried to look agsin through the things she put in the bed for clues about herself, keeping close to the weapons but continued being distracted by the TV until she was finally just watching instead of looking.
Mara jumped and reached for the gun when Kae spoke but it was only the elf..she seemed pretty okay. "What went wrong?" Focusing away from the TV and frowning faintly in the way the old Mara would have to brace herself for bad news.
Is she okay?
She? Andy? Wait did Melody even meet Andy again after her memory loss? Tri opened his eyes and focused on Kae as she entered the room, a sudden surge of fear forced him to sit up slowly, something he hadn't tried to do just to keep Mara calm and with her hand off the gun. All for nothing as she rested her hand on the barrel staring at him. That hurt deeply even if he knew she didn't remember him fully. "She?" He asked quietly still sitting as he looked to Kae intently, having a very bad feeling.

Zira nodded in confirmation that they should go. "Yes, it seems her inhibitors were shut off then purposefully reactivated. It most definitely could be a trap." she agreed, her eyes never breaking contact with Ree's . As he asked where to, she looked down at the phone in her hand and a map pulled up showing where they needed to go. "A mile from here." she reported then looked to Ree and blinked for a moment before looking at her where her other arm should have been. She then handed the phone to Ree. "I know where it is, I will shadow jump there. Are you okay to fly or shadow jump as well?"

Kae hesitated as it became obvious something had actually happened. She stared at Tri, trying to keep stone-faced as she was pained underneath. She didn't know whether to tell him, feeling he deserved to know the truth about what happened. On the other hand, Mara and Melody were there and she knew Tri would try to go to her, whether she was alive or not. She couldn't just tell him, not like this. But she very well couldn't lie to him.
She sighed and collected her thoughts, opening her eyes to stare down at him with stern, cold eyes, she spoke just as rigid. "I'll talk to you later about it." she lingered her stare for a second longer before directing her gaze at Mara, softening slightly. "It seems they weren't able to apprehend Kylar just yet. They'll have to pursue him further out. Ree and Zira are going to go handle it. It will be fine.... In the meantime, we should try to get your memories back. That's the most important thing right now. Tell me, what can you remember? New things since realizing you could not remember anything." she prodded for answers as she tried to scientifically piece together the best way to jump start her memories. All the while, she kept an eye of Tri to see his reaction, and to stop him if he decided to try to get up.
Melody sat next to Tri, her hands burried into her lap forcefully as she hung her head slightly and stared at the floor. She felt bad for almost giving away what happened.

Ree looked away and took the phone back quietly, looking at the dot for the location. "I can't shadow jump but flying should be fine " he said tiredly trying to see if sight jump or flying would be more tiring. A mile? That might take him about three jumps leaving him with only three left before he really needed to rest. if there is an attack...flying would be better, on the other hand he might be able to catch a breeze to help him part way there . "I'll meet you there" his voice was cold but wary.

"Memories?" She looked between Tri and Kae...not sure what was happening. "I remembered his name....Also another two? One with yellow and purple and another with black and light blue? Snow globe, blood and screaming in a hall, uh him ..as a little kid under a net" she looked at Kae questioning as if she would know what it meant.
Tri looked back at Kae until she glared at him, he didn't glare back just watched until she turn to Mara. As she spoke he pulled out his phone and dialed a number, looking up with a shiver at the mention of a net as it rang.
"What?! "
"Commander Arisel, where is Hexxis? "
"Mara. Is she with you? Where the hell is she we need her here! "
"Unconscious, she is being treated by her sister a doctor. Hexxis. Where is she?"

Zira nodded slowly. "Best to save sight jump. You might need it later if we are ambushed just as your suspicions might suggest. I will do my best to protect you, Ree." she titled her head slightly, blinking with certain carefulness, being delicate about the situation for some reason. "I will likely arrive first, I will assess the situation before you arrive and we can proceed from there." and with that, she melted into the shadows below her, closing her eyes as she disappeared.

Kae placed a hand to her own chin in thought, making a motion to adjust her glasses as she thought. "Very interesting." so she did remember bits and pieces. That was good. That meant her memory loss was temporary and they could likely jump start more memories by talking of things she would know. "It's jumbled, but definitely seems like you are beginning to remember things again. A very good sign. Maybe Tri can talk about the n-.." she hear Tri's voice call to Commander Asriel as she whipped around suddenly to Tri, her eyes burning in extreme agitation as she knew exactly what was now happening.
Where is Hexxis?
'You stupid fool.' she thought, clenching her teeth hard in slightly anger but more regret.
Where is she?
"You just had to ask... didn't you?" she forced out through gritted teeth and irritation. "Melody, move away from Tri." she instructed as Kae moved to the door, placing her hand on the handle. "I told you we'd talk about this later....... but you are so eager for the truth now...." she narrowed her eyes at Trisuri, anguish in her eyes as she then averted her pained eyes. "Trisuri, She's dead." she spoke before Arisel could say it. Surely, he would also confirm what had happened. "When Kylar left, he took Andy, Blaise, and Hexxis. Though it's assumed that Andy and Blaise are accomplises, Hexxis was highly likely a hostage. Ree didn't say the details. But she is dead. I checked the vitals from her inhibitors myself, and I'm sure they...Asirel has done so as well." she was fighting back tears now. "I'm sorry, Tri.... I'm so sorry." and for once, tears spilled down her cheeks, but she dare not sob, no, her face was still as stern as ever, refusing to show her true wrought emotions deep below as all that could manage to surface was tears. "...im so sorry.."
Melody flinched as Kae began to command her. She came to a slow stand, looking at Tri, tears already in her eyes with regret for saying anything as she backed away towards Mara instinctively. She looked to Mara with worry, frowning. "...i'm sorry.. i didn't mean to say anything.." she whispered in a small frail voice, sad and remorseful.
Taking a deep breath, Kae opened the door a bit and reached into her pocket to pull of her phone that was connected to the comm in her ear. "If you want to go, I won't stop you... I'll even tell you where to go.. But do you even have the strength to get there without killing yourself in the process..." her voice was cold and calculating as she spoke, as though she had shut down every emotion she had, the only indication of feelings was the tears that refused to stop running down her face, her eyes looking away, too pained to try to look at him.

I will do my best to protect you, Ree.
Protect him, after what happened? "Stop stop stop " he muttered out loud to himself and took a deep breath as he closed his eyes. 10 seconds later he opened them an took wing, heading in the direction of the coordinates while moving his phone into save battery mode. Now was not the time to wallow in guilt and self-pity, bad enough to make her think he was more of a liability than a help.
If it was an ambush he had to focus on what might give them the upper hand which means knowing what the layout of the area was, even if they had to retreat and not push. Scrolling closer he grabbed an address and started to look at their real life photo street view option. /Worst case I can try bringing the building down on them/ ignoring the sick feeling in his stomach as he tried to reason they were only after a body now ..that they had tried the same at the hospital.

Tri watched Kae move to the door and instruct Melody to move away. He just narrowed his eyes wondering if she knew he didn't need to use the door to leave this room, and was already gathering shadows just to do that, causing Mara to move even further back to Kae.
Trisuri, She's dead.
The shadows fled his control as he was left staring at her in shock. The dread plummet down until it was an undeniable pain that felt worse than the injure he had recently substained. He watched her tears, heard her sincerity and sorrow and could only lower his head to look away from her before he felt the need to join her.
"She's dead, we're sending people to follow her signal since they were stupid enough to take her with them. Wait, is that (title) Kae Gold? Put her on "
Tri closed his eyes as a shiver ran through him and his breath hitched. Hexxis had been resting, her injuries would have made her easier to manage even if she was still a liability in trying to escape. How did she die then? Why did they keep her with them? Was it possible the collars were wrong... Or they they just took them off still active? But Ree was the one who said she was dead.
He let out a shaky breath and got up painfully, his eyes reflecting the more emotional pain he felt, but there was still a glimmer of hope that wouldn't go out until he actually saw Hexxis himself. "Trade. Comm and password as well" if he could catch up to the other two he would need the Comm to talk to Ree.
He didn't answer Kae's question of being able to make it there or not, he would and that was all.
Mara looked at Melody even as she kept glancing up now and then nervously as Tri and Kae talked. Someone died....and they were both hurting. "It's okay.." She said quietly to Melody, holding out her hands so she could come to her if she wanted. Luckily to distracted to remember the odd change in voice that had made her push her away.
Was it someone she knew? Should she be hurting as they were? The name barely brought up anything other than a faint flicker of anger. While Asriel's name brought up a memory of a dinner, mild irritation but other wise amused. Were they married? Was she married? Did she have any other children? She thought quietly looking down at Melody.
She looked up suddenly as he got up, favoring his side as he held the phone out to Kae. " you shouldn't go...." Feeling pain and worry for him without any real context while still harbor int her fear.
"Have to go" he said quietly, his voice breaking just slightly. If he came back... Maybe she will let him stay with her in the same room for a while even if she wouldn't hug him.
If he found Kage he would take him back..feeling no small amount of guilt at not dealing with the influx of new metas sooner. Looking weak in front of those he had to lead..their first impressions...that was the reason he hasn't tried and now he felt guilty not doing so, or at least a one on one meeting during the times he felt better.

Leukos perked up suddenly and narrowed his eyes. Shifting a bit, he looked down at Ashral who was sharing an earbud with him listening to music. ”…like it?..”
Ashral exhaled shakily and nodded slowly. ”..it’s nice…” she spoke softly, still leaning her head on his shoulder with her eyes closed as they sat next to each other against the wall of the dining room. She had pulled off the eyepatch a while back as she found it uncomfortable to wear, being that she could see through both eyes unlike Hexxis. She sighed lightly as she listened to the rhythm of the music, unaware of Leukos’ uneasiness.
He looked down at her blood-stained clothes and frowned, ”Maybe we should get you cleaned up…” he shifted a bit to try to stand then felt a tug and stopped, looking down at her again.
Ash wrapped her hand to grip his arm lightly. ”…don't go… just stay here.” she whispered, keeping her eyes closed as she just wanted to be still for a little while longer.

Zira formed up a ways from the house, eyes fixated on it from a distance. Her face washed over in confusion, perplexed by something then took a few steps back and stood there silently.
As Ree arrived, she began to talk, ”I am having trouble identifying who is in the house. I think it’s only two people, they are listening to music which is interfering with my ability to read them. Which is.. unusual. One of them is telepathic, however weak, and has sent forth a warning to me. The telepath is scared but determined.” She paused for a moment, never breaking contact from the house. ”I think.. there is a spirit in the house. I’m unable to identify if it is a Mane or Malice, however.” she turned to him, looking him in the eyes. ”How would you like to proceed?”

Kae nodded slowly and removed the comm from her ear and held out the phone and comm to Tri. ”The password is 0-7-2-0. And this..” she motioned to a couple open tabs along the inside of the side of the screen. ”..is the gps for her inhibitors. And this one is the vitals reading from it.” she instructed. ”The other two tabs monitor Zira’s vitals and her gps as well.” She sighed shakily, collecting her composure then grabbed the other phone from Tri, putting it up to her ear and moving away from Tri to let him leave. ”Hello, this is Kae.” she greeted in her normal voice as though nothing was wrong, wiping the tears from her face quietly as she concentrated on Asriel over the phone. ”Asriel, I presume? What can I do for you?”
Melody moved to Mara as the offer was extended for her to be allowed closer. She reached up and grabbed Mara’s hand with both hands and she stood close to Mara, worried and scared. Then when she heard the news of Hexxis’ death she furrowed her brows further and the buried her face into Mara’s side, regret consuming her for saying anything and forcing Kae to tell Tri what had happened. She didn’t know Hexxis and had never met her, but somehow she felt incredibly devastated by the news like it was someone she had known her whole life. ”…i’m sorry..” she whimpered quietly, muffled by Mara’s clothes as she desperately tried not to start crying.

Ree landed by her quietly finally able to fold his wings in tiredly as he looked toward the house. "Two?" He repeated with a look of surprise as most of his plans went out the window at that. He glanced down at the phone again as they were pretty much right over the signal now. A weak telepath that knew they were there and a mane or malice as well. He stood there quietly, thinking now they will only find just the restraints and not the body...it was to odd to explain why they kept moving Hexxis....had Kage actually been a plant? Was he here there to take another meta alive or dead? Did he know the power that could be gained from some bits of their body.
His wings shook as he took a breath. "Let's go in, they already know we are here. If they attack and look like they will follow, lure them outside. Retreat again if either of us is injured, they out number us or are more powerful" his voice dull and quiet, they were there to pick up a body not add another one. He moved toward the house, walking up to one of the walls and glanced back at Zira, if one of them can lure them out the other can head back in and get what was needed. He phased through the wall and stayed phased, hoping to surprise anyone who was ready to attack the from door.

Tri took the phone from her and nodded his thanks as he pulled away, glancing down at it as he turned in place trying to face the correct direction. 1.9 miles, that will take him about two jumps and a big hit or miss. It wa Sony when he was settled that he pulled at the darkness in the area until he had enough to jump. (Shadow Jump x2: 1 left )
He reappeared with a gasp nearly doubling over as fatigue hit him all of a sudden. He barely heard the scream of the human whose shadow he accidently exited from until they started yelling and backing away. Damn it, he raised his wings in a hurry and slam them downward quickly, doing a vertical take off as fast as he could. He ignored the sharp spike of pain from his wound as it was dulled by the adrenaline rushing through him. Once he gained enough altitude he sigh, glancing back down at the phone as he typed in the pass key he had quickly memorized from Kae. He had overshot that area by only a bit but it would still take him a few minutes to get to the right location.

"Kae, Is It true? Is Mara still unconscious? s**t. The General wants to speak to her about what just happened, he is sending some of his men from one of the other bases to give us support. "
Mara looked surprised and put her over arm around her kindly. "It's not your fault... Kae said she would talk to him but..." She didn't know if it was going to be okay or not, but it wasn't the childs fault. Lifting her agree hand she started to stroke her hair gently. Melody had asked..Kae looked like she was going to tell Tri in a more kindly manner so he wouldn't rush off... before he pushed her. "He's stubborn" she said with some irritation, blinking as she didon't even know where that came from.

Zira nodded, confirming the plan. She melded back down into the shadows beneath her, reforming inside the house, in the doorway between the dining room and the living room, blinking curiously at the scene. /Hexxis sighted, pulse confirmed. Two children are present, no others detected in the house./
Leukos caught sight of Zira and glared hard at her. His skin was starting to glow lightly. "Stay away." he demanded in a low voice as he remained still, trying not to wake her.
Ashral stirred slightly at Leukos' stern voice, opening her eyes slowly, but not moving. Her eyes sliding to Zira and narrowing, glaring. She didn't recognize her and merely assumed it was an enemy, just staring angrily but unmoving for now.
Zira simply stood there, saying nothing, the perplexed look flickering upon her face. /Despite the boy's hostility. I feel surprisingly calm about him. Odd. Proceed with caution./ she then glanced at Hexxis and paused in uneasiness. /Ashral confirmed. Inhibitors are removed./

"Yes, she seems okay and her vitals are stable. I'll tend to her until she wakes up again. It looks like she collapsed from stress, so the best course of action is for her to just rest for now. I am available to speak about what happened in her stead since I have been in contact with Ree about the situation thusfar. If that is alright with the General. We may not need that support here, it has come to light that Kylar has fled further out from the facility and is being pursued by Ree. I will let that be your call whether you would feel the help is still needed knowing that." her voice was calm, self-assured, almost regal in a way. Kae shifted her vision to Melody and seemed to frown, a twinge of pain in her eyes as faint memories flickered in her mind of a young girl crying over not having any friends. She was about to sigh solemnly when Mara made a comment about Tri, causing Kae to quirk an eyebrow. If there was any indication she was remembering Tri, it was that comment alone. A view that both her and Ree shared about Tri. Maybe it wouldn't be as long as she'd anticipated to get back her memories after all.

"Pulse?!" Ree yelped and rushed toward Zira, pausing near the doorway then phasing through her so he could solidify and look at Hexxis himself. Oh godn-.....she was alive!........barely.
He wings lifted and lowered slightly like a nervous bird wanting to take off. Hexxis was alive...but the Malice was in control? Then how was the other kid unharmed? The other kid? Ree blinked and furled his wings in trusting Zira to keep watch, even if they have never practiced together she seemed a lot more experienced than him in this.
"I know you. You were the other orphan in Sanctuary. " he said quietly, remembering him with ...Melody. "The one who was with Melody ......tell me. How don't you have a rebar sticking out of you right now being so close to a Malice." He said with a glance toward Ash, ignoring the child's glow as he sent out a hint of healing energy to try and get an idea of how Hexxis doing...how was she alive..did her Malice resuscitate her...someone in the renegades. To many unanswered questions.

"Fine come over here and talk with him. Good luck convincing him to pull those people out after that last Renegade attack and now this. " now this....Mara's tough talk of before was slowly crumbling as more than have her of "recruits" ran off and the other part is either too young to even drive or just injured.
Tri dove as he was finally over the green dot on the map, back winging while gritting his teeth together at the pain. He could feel warm rivulets soaking into the fabric of his shirt as he put the phone away, listening and hearing only a soft humming he was starting to associate with Zira. (Electric Sense)
"Ree?" He activated the Comm and headed toward the door, not realizing the other meta who had been staring at Ash and Leukros froze in panic, he entered the house carefully, pulling darkness toward him for an attack.

Leukos' eyes widen slightly as Ree mentioned Melody, the memories coming back to him. He was the guy that came in after Melody after she had been shot by the human. Leukos never got to see his intentions, whether he was there to save her or to finish the job, and now here he was talking about her, asking about the Malice, asking why he was unharmed. His skin was glowing more, building up to something. "I said stay away." he commanded more sternly this time. He shifted to look at Ashral. "...hey.. do you know them.." he asked softly, never really taking his eye off of them.
Ashral winced hard as Leukos moved, the wounds still in too much pain to consider moving to much, reaching her free hand to her stomach, fearing reopening the wound again. She slowly moved her vision from Zira to Ree, lifting her head slightly to get a better view and kept her eyes narrowed on him now. "...I don't... I've never seen him before..." she answered, then rested her head back down on Leukos' shoulder.
Leukos glared intently at Ree whom was closer than Zira now. He lifted his hand, palm open as a flame erupted in the shape of a sphere ignited just over his hand. "Leave us alone. I won't let you hurt her too..."
Zira shifted her eyes to the side for a moment, not moving.

She kept an eye on the two children. Just relating information until Ree would give her orders. She was still having a trouble identifying the young boy, he was obviously experienced with spirits enough to know what would effect her, whether he realized she was a spirit herself or not.

Kae sighed a little closing her eyes in thought, then as she opened them she spoke again. "Right, I'll be right over then. Also, I don't need luck, that's for people with no confidence in themselves." she hesitated slightly, the last part just coming out of it's own. "We will see what can't be worked out..... I've been told I'm fairly good at talking to people, so who knows." she added a bit softer now. She then hung up then phone and gripped it, exhaling deeply in frustration. Kae turned to Mara, "Well, unfortunately, I will have to go and try to stall things until you can remember enough to pass as yourself again. At least they don't assume you've been compromised... that's the last thing we need right now." she paused, eyes widening for a moment, "...oh gods, don't know how this would have all went down had I not been here.." she whispered to herself then shook the thought quickly. There would be enough time for all that later when things had calmed down again. "Just... focus on trying to get your memories back.. maybe Melody can help..." '..though I doubt it.' Kae then sighed once more, bowed her head lightly then left the room.
Melody pulled back slowly and looked up at Mara with a frown. "I can try... I don't know that much about you..." she looked down at the ground and sighed in sadness. "...im sorry..." all the while she kept a firm grasp on Mara's hand, too afraid to let go of her now.

Ree unfroze at the challenge, reacting more than thinking as he tried to use telekinisis to slam the hand,the one with the fire ball, back towards Leukos's own face.
"Hexxis, go to sleep" he ordered angrily as he took a step forward, wings partially lifted and bristled.
"Ree" the voice sharp and cold.
Ree stopped but glared forward not looking back. "You idiot. You reopened your wound" he hissed hiding the medley of emotions Tri's voice brought on, under only one emotion...anger.
"Ree, back off. Now!" This time it was more forceful with a hint of pain and under it all a little fear as well. Tri stopped behind Zira catching sight of the other side and feeling relieved it wasn't a fight against Ash...but the fact Ree looked ready to fight a child didn't relieve things much..especially not in front of Ash...Hexxis...who was alive. He felt a rush of relief and a feeling of gratefulness, to who he could not say but he was profoundly happy to see her even if it was the Malice instead.
Ree glared and finally backed up, moving 5 paces before stopping. His wings twitching slightly in reminisces of an angry cat as he struggled not to act.

Mara stared after Kae, stall who? Been compromised? She didn't understand but she could see the sudden realization in the elf's eyes that things could have been much worse somehow if she hadn't been there. It made her grateful yet very confused on what she had gotten herself into..she was in the military she knew that from the papers but why? And why had the people who had come to her....none had been human.
Looking down at Melody she tightened her grip on her hand slightly in comfort. "Well....that makes two of us " she tried to smile faintly. "How about this? You can ask me questions and see if that might make me remember something" already the question of joining brought up images and feelings she wasn't so sure off...jumbled and laced with a feeling of dread.

Leukos preemptively put out the fire as his hand began to move on its own, though only at first as he had control by the time it neared his face. With one swift movement, never breaking eye contact with Ree, he ripped the earbuds from their ears and threw them to the floor angrily. He looked ready to defend against the Meta who now seemed to be attacking them.
'Hexxis, go to sleep.'
"..d-don-.." she whispered, not even being able to finish the only word from her mouth as she closed her eyes again and suddenly slumped to the side, falling completely to the floor unconscious.
His eyes widened in alarm as he felt her slide away from him and fell to the side. "IDIOT!!!" he screamed through clenched teeth as he sprung to his feet, standing there next to her, his body starting into a glow that continued to brighten quickly as he built up energy for an attack."I'LL NEVER LET YOU TOUCH HER!!!"
Zira shifted uneasily as she stayed still where she stood. "Her heart rate is dropping quickly. It will stop again at this rate." he voice was cold and robotic, but her words seemed urgent, if not a bit rushed as she felt the message extremely important to convey.
Leukos froze, his body dropping the glow almost immediately as he turned and dropped down to kneel next to her. He picked up her hand into his, stroking the top of it with his other hand. "Ashral.. you need to wake up..." he spoke calmly but shakily, fear in his voice as he focused his attention on her alone. "..Ashral... wake up now..."
Ashral strained a bit, wincing as she opened her eyes tiredly. "..luekos.." she whispered softly then closed her eyes again, sighing. "...just let me sleep..."
"You can sleep later... just stay awake for me right now, okay?" he offered with a faint smile. "Can you sit up again? I'll help you." He tugged her hand a bit, to try and help her back up into a sitting position against the wall.
She let out a soft whimper as she struggled to sit up at his request. After settling back against the wall she exhaled shakily and placed a hand on the wound on her stomach as though it helped subside the pain. She opened her eyes a little, and slid them over to the third person who had just entered the room. "...tri..." she whispered, wincing as she tried to move, as though she were attempting to get up but simply couldn't, never really leaving her position as her breathing became a little heavier.
Leukos stayed kneeled next to Ashral as he looked over at Tri, analyzing him with cold eyes, unsure if that was who she had mentioned earlier or if she had just been talking to herself. He remained silent and on guard, concentrating on every little movement from the three metas that stood in the room with them, ready to defend at a moments notice.
Zira blinked a bit through an expressionless face then looked over to Ree then back to Tri.
/It appears that Ashral is keeping Hexxis alive. However, it is putting a lot of strain on Ashral to do so as Hexxis is too close to death to survive on her own./

Melody nodded slowly, looking up at Mara. "I don't know what to ask...." she muttered then looked away to think for a moment. "Do you remember anything about me? I know we don't know each other well... but we met very recently... so maybe you might remember recent things?" she seemed unsure, the inflection in her voice giving that away easily. She then looked at the papers on the bed. "...What about all that? What do the papers say about you?" she asked, deciding to direct her question to about her instead. Who better to remember Mara than herself, right?
