Evilweirdo 0 Saleh! That's the guy! I never thought I'd be obliterated so many times by a move called "Gusty Nail." I mean... what? Man, though. Radiant Mythology's soundtracks [got good] (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ipkdjfo-p5s) after the first one! The first game's OST was fairly catchy, but didn't really have that wow factor. It's a shame they were never localized. The music alone makes me consider... other means of playing them. Anyway, I haven't done a beginner summon yet; I've mostly been saving up and drawing the costume ones while I can. I lucked out and got that Yuri and Tear, which added a good delaying arte and some RCV to my team. Also, the art is great! I would like that rainbow Sara, though... Should I risk it?
Yeah, delayers and arte healers are the top units to get out of these summons altogether. biggrin When you do pull from the beginner summon, here's to hoping you have the luck to snag a [Blademagic Master] Kratos (4-star) like I did. His Guardian Field attack is a lifesaver in a pinch. RCV can't be depended on a lot because as far as I've heard, that particular stat was nerfed for a majority of the units in the Global version. gonk
I love this game, but this is my only gripe: that there will be characters that you may not particularly care much for but are incredibly useful units, which results in you benching most of your favorite characters a lot of the time in order to get through harder content. sad
Actually, no, don't risk it. Rates for the 1st Anniversary summon are pretty awful. D: I only went into it prepared for my pull to be not as I'd hoped. (Still got a couple of delayers out of it, so it wasn't all bad!) Anyway, absolutely go for the costume summon; at least you're guaranteed one 5* costumed unit.

The Tales of Link subreddit is a nifty place to lurk for reports on summoning turnout rates (so you know which ones to just pass up and save your stones on) and advice on the harder content. biggrin I should have checked before wasting stones on the halloween summon. I wanted to get that Rita, as I'm switching over to a slash/magic team. And how fortuitous! The Beginner's Summon netted me a shiny [Blademagic Master] Kratos! The hype is real!

This game is really pretty generous with its premium currency, but the catch is that summon luck is pretty terrible. XD;;
And congrats on getting the arte healer Kratos! 8D And may you get many more, even non-Kratos arte healers. smile Building a collection is a good idea, so you have particular ones that can benefit from as many Leader Skills possible.

Salud! I'm a new guild recruit (or will be, once someone processes my application), but I figured it wouldn't hurt to post here while I wait. ...If I'm wrong, please let me know and I'll remove this posthaste.
Anyway, since ToLink got me into the fandom, it's only fitting I make my first post here; I joined during the Brave Frontier crossover event, and I've missed maybe one daily login since. More friends are always welcome, and my FC is below; despite what you may think from my units, I'm F2P (mostly - I paid cash once for a very poor result).

Holy balls you have Anniversary Sara. ;u; I've been playing since ToL launched and the only arte healers I have are my two [Blademagic Master] Kratos. I'm entirely F2P—haven't spent a cent yet, but if I had the disposable income I totally would. XD;;
So is that to say you play Brave Frontier too? Because the collaboration event is what got me started on it.
As for getting deeper into the Tales series, have you gotten to play any others yet? My gateway into it was Symphonia and I highly recommend it. smile

Accepted! Another Barbatos will be a big help pushing for that second LB.
I've been far luckier than I deserve pulling Arte healers. My first (non-Beginner) 5-star summon was Kanonno G., and she helped me grind enough Hero Stones to pull Bride Sara before that promo ended.
And yes, I've been Brave Frontier-ing for about two years now. ID there is 2206881480, though obviously I'd understand not wanting to use this forum to talk about it ;P
As I mentioned in my 'accept me' post, I picked up ToSymphonia during the last Steam sale, and I'm working through that in my free time. It's definitely a very unique take on the JRPG genre!

Thanks! I finally got the lead one all the way to the LB5 passive, just two more and Yggy to go. And...I'm all out of Malik keys. XD;; I wish I knew how to manage them more efficiently, or that the allotted time is at least half an hour instead of 10 minutes.
You have Bride Sara too. Good lord I need your luck. ;u; I haven't gotten any more arte healers since the 3rd Kratos Lippy brought back for me, and that was a long time ago...back in the time where I was just a noob who didn't know any better and LBed one of them... lol
Oh no, it's totally fine to go off-topic within a thread. smile If more people start talking about BF in here though, I would call for a new thread to be made. But wow, two years! Judging by how there's so much to do in the game, you must've witnessed a whole lot of changes it went through. surprised

Nice! I have no Yggy, Barbatos is the first Ares Realm I've performed competently in :s On the other hand, that means I can concentrate more on Barb - I think he needs about 1500 for his final passive?
I don't feel lucky most of the time... Three Orchestra summons got me no featured units and three single (useless) tickets. ;P
And yeah, you could say that! When I started, Felneus was arena meta, Zebra was the king of OTK, and FH teams brought as many Lario as they could get their hands on. We've come a ways, that's for sure.

I did the new Slash-specific summon, hoping for that Asbel. Nothing doing. I barely got any 4-star units.
That SAO Ludger is really something, though. That's two level 99 5-stars I have now. I still can't beat the event, though.
Looks like there's going to be a Duke Ares Realm. Sadly, Kratos doesn't seem to be recruitable through it. Alas.
