Drexl playfully stuck out the tip of his tounge. "I know...I completely forgot that I usually have a change of at least shorts while I'm out and about. You never know when you'll need it." he pouted then lowered his head to Jerami's shoulder. "Fine..." he added a childish whine to his voice. Smiling before he hugged the other close. He liked being able to relax around Jerami like this. He looked back up at the skies. "I wanna take you to a waterfall under the clear skies one day, Jerami. When we're older." he smiled down at the other. "It'll be a nice adventure. I hear there's a land of water across the desert...like a grand oasis."

Jerami couldn't help it as he started to laugh a bit more, "Is that so? You're really amazing, Drexl." He said between bouts of giggling. He couldn't help it, his friend was just too cute for his own good. The fact that they had been out for quite the adventure already and he just now recalled something that important just now. He lifted his arms up, laying them over the arms that were hugging them so that he could hug Drexl's arms tight, "Next time for sure we will go swimming... though it might end up as a group affair depending how many of our siblings and friends find out that we are going swimming." As Drexl mentioned wanting to to take him to a waterfall under the clear skies he found himself looking up thoughtfully for a moment, wondering where such a place might be. A thought that was answered a moment later as Drexl described to him a land of water that was like a grand oasis. It sounded... well, amazing really, though also far away. Across the desert meant Oba, right? He wondered if he should be worried or not. The war against the Obans was over a long, long time ago, right? So it should be alright for them to go there once they were older, likely after they were equipped with weapons of their own. Giving a smile he said, "It sound nice! I hope we can go there one day!"

Drexl nuzzled the other feeling his touch to return the hug. The hybrid nodded. "I'll find a steed that everyone's afraid of. That way we won't run into that much trouble." He wondered what type of steed that would mean. Maybe if he got it as a baby that would mean less issue of it turning on him. He mused about it. Then pulled Jerami to lay against him as he shifted to lay back on the ground. He was lost in thought as he spoke. "Did you want to nap here for a bit? I'm sure Burin will join us--ACK!!!" he let out a yelp as it seemed the bird showed up as soon as its name was mentioned. Drexl stared at the beast. "Wow...you got amazing hearing!"

Jerami laughed, "Sounds like a good idea, having an intimidating mount should be rather useful when it comes to warding off trouble." Or so he hoped, thinking that if they had a large friend in the form of a mount for Drexl. He wondered what sort of mount it might be, but he supposed that they wouldn't know until he met that mount, huh? "Hm? A nap... well, so long as it isn't a long one my mothers shouldn't come out looking for me." He murmured, then gave a little squeak as he saw Bruin coming rushing toward them, fluffed up, and stained purple from berries. He blinked a couple times before he sighed, "I... saw that coming... that is going to take forever to get out of your feathers." He said, reaching a hand out to scratch him under the chin in a manner that had the kinfa fluffing up in delight. Turning to look at Drexl he gave a smile and said teasingly, "Remember, just a short nap, or else you will have to face off with my mothers... and I don't want that." He liked Drexl after all and he didn't want him to get in any trouble.

Drexl chuckled. "Got it." he pulled Jerami against him, offering Burin a spot. "Come on...we'll make this quick." he settled down before finding himself drifting rather quickly. "Sorry...guess I'm a tad sleepy." He was soon out. The male easily slipping into dreamland.

It was the sound of squwaking that woke Jerami up from his nap, causing him to sit up slowly, lifting a hand to rub it against his eyes, "Hmmm...?" He looked down at Bruin who was fluffed up in front of him, wings flapping, "Huh? Oh!" Yeah, right... he was taking a nap with his friend and it would appear as though it was time to get up according to his kinfa friend. Lifting his hands he set to work fixing his long hair which seemed to be going in all directions at the moment. Only after he got it under control did he reach over to give Drexl a little nudge in the side, "It's time to wake up, Drexl. We should probably be getting back." From the looks of the sky above them it didn't look as though they'd been out here too long, so nobody was likely to be looking for them yet. If they were quick about it they should be able to get back without trouble.

Drexl flinched at the sqwaking. Feeling Jerami's nudge he slowly opened his eyes and sat up with a drowsy nod. "Mhm...right..." he smiled as he got up, stretching out the youth hummed. He held out his hand to help the other up before leading the way back. Drexl was super happy with this adventure, he hoped Jerami felt the same way. As they walked back Drexl looked to Jerami. "Thanks...for indulging me in this." he smiled gently.

Jerami gave a smile, "Not a problem, Drexl, it was a lot of fun! Even Bruin had fun and you know how much of a stick in the mud he can be." The kinfa was a bit of a grump most days but today, likely because he got to gorge on berries, he was in a great mood. It was something that had put Jerami into an even better mood. Save for the creepy aura of the one silent stream everything had been peaceful and fun! He'd learned a few lessons from it as well, mostly about how he really needed to better dress for the adventures that he went on with everyone even if wearing shorts under his dresses might not look as nice. "I hope we can go on another adventure soon! This one was a ton of fun." He chirped, his antennae giving a rapid wiggle of delight. He was careful to stand near to his friend as they headed back, keeping an eye out for any dangers from simple things like sticks, rocks, and spitorog as well as bigger things as well. Given that they weren't stopping for berries or tree climbing on the way back the return trip was a lot faster. A good thing because that meant they would be back with plenty of time to spare but a shame since that meant he'd be parting ways with his good friend soon. It had been a good day though and soon he could go and tell his sisters about all the adventure save for the 'secret spot' that he wanted to protect alongside Drexl

Drexl led the other through their recently taken path. He got back to the training grounds. Knowing that Jerami could get back on his own. Drexl looked up at the flowering tree that was apart of their training trees. He tilted his head at the pale lavender flowers it held. He reached up plucking a bloom off, settling it into Jerami's hair he leaned in to steal a soft kiss. "Thanks again." he said smiling softly before rushing off.

Jerami lifted a hand up to hover in front of his mouth, his aqua eyes going wide, his cheeks blushing brightly as he stood there stock still. He hadn't been expecting a kiss from his friend and before he could even say anything about it or anything in reponse to the thanks before Drexl was already running off. He blinked slowly before he looked to Bruin, "That was... surprising..." He breathed, lifting a hand to fan himself to try to cool the blush. The last thing that he wanted was to go home so flushed or else questions might be asked. The kiss was going to leave Jerami with a lot to think about... though he'd have to dot hat thinking once he got home. Turning around slowly he headed toward his place, still fanning himself as he went.
