Terry smiled as he watched Seung scoop up the puppy, glad his gift had made the other happy, holding the carry on carefully like the other had been. When he kissed him, he returned the kiss with a pleased hum. “You are very welcome, glad you like him.” He had at first been a bit hesitant to go ahead and get him an animal for a gift, not knowing if Seung had talked to his parents yet, but when he saw the puppy at the shelter and did a quick search on the breed he couldn’t resist.
“They said his mother had been found wandering the streets while pregnant with him and his siblings. She was brought to the shelter so she would have medical assistance for the birth.” He watched as the puppy sniffed the other. “When she gave birth the original owner had managed to find out and collected her once the puppies had been weaned, apparently they had moved and somehow in the confusion she had been left behind. The puppies were all adopted out except this little one, they didn’t say why though and he is in perfect health so that wasn’t the reason.” He gave a nod at the last question. “I had looked up the breed name after I found him.”

He would be talking to his cousin first, see if she could deal with his parents first. He would talk to his parents in person tomorrow, when he had the puppy with him. He doubted they would deny him the puppy but he could be wrong, especially since it was a gift. It would be wrong to return such a gift and his parents weren’t the sort who would tell him to return the puppy to the shelter, nor would they do it themselves.
“Gift for you in pack, can help self to it at kitchen table.” Seung said hoping the other would like it. he’d gotten him bread from a bakery, fresh made that morning, and then several special asian pears.
“How do you forget dog...and not take puppies..” He said shaking his head and nuzzling the little puppies head he smiled down at the little one. “Very cute.” The underside of his chin being licked by the little one in his arms who was wiggling about. “Got gift for family members also...should give to them also.” He said looking about, wondering where the others parents and brother were. “Glad this one has home now, will have good name as well.” He added and cooed a few words into the little puppy's ears. Oh yes, he would make sure he had a good name. “You did? Looked up Jindo dog?” he asked surprised but pleased.

Terry glanced down at the carry on then back up at Seung and gave a nod. “Thank you.” He said with a smile. “Want to move into there and then into my room later or vise versa?” While he was curious as to what the other had gotten him, he would be content to wait if he wanted to go and relax for a while after having been on the plane for so long.
“I don’t know. If I was moving Ace would be a top priority so I can’t understand how she had gotten left behind.” He shook his head. When he had heard the story from the shelter workers he had been in disbelief over it. How any good pet owner would leave their animal behind like that he didn’t know. “As for the puppies, apparently he simply didn’t want to bring all eight of them home with him.” Which he almost thought was a good thing as now the puppies would hopefully be with people who wouldn’t end up forgetting them at some point. He smiled again as he watched Seung and the pup interact. “Alright, they should be back from the store soon so you can give the presents to them after they return.” Matt had gone with their parents since he had been needing to buy some new socks. How his brother kept losing socks he would never know. “Yes I did. When I read about the breed I thought he would fit you perfectly.” He said with a small blush.

“Kitchen first, can have what I got you then.” He said. he could also lay out what he’d bought for the others family so it didn’t remain in his luggage the whole time. “Think you will like, mentioned one to you already but other is special.” He had mentioned the bread in Korea being different, had mentioned he would get some for the other. The pears however were the special part, a surprise gift.
Balancing the puppy with one arm he wen to bring his luggage into the kitchen, at least one piece of it, so he could empty the other gifts from there. “Don’t know how you forget a dog or not want the puppies. Jindo dogs are special...treasure in Korea. From same province as Seoul...just south on an island.” He answered, though he had a feeling the other knew it if he had read up on the breed. The area they were from was proud of them, famous for the Jindo dogs, and even had a statue of one and their owner and memorial for the deceased Jindo dog.
“Yes, this is perfect, I am very happy.” And he was, it showed, as he seemed to be beaming the whole way to the kitchen. When he got there he bent down, setting the little one onto the floor so he could lay his luggage down and open it. From inside he pulled out a bag full of skincare products for the others mother. “Have lots of good products back home, tourists come just for makeup and skin care products. Very good, some better than here.” He said confidently, not a bit arrogant or thinking his country was better than this one, as he stood up and set the bag on the counter top gently. Then he bent to get the gifts for the father and brother and set them too and on the counter top.

“Alright.” Terry followed Seung into the kitchen, keeping an eye on him to make sure he didn’t need help with the luggage on the way. “I’m not sure. All I can think of is maybe he didn’t want to have to keep that many animals in the house but even then.” He gave a shrug at the end. He nodded when Seung mentioned how the Jindo were treasured, having read that and where they were from on his search.
He was glad to both hear and see how happy the other was with his gift. The smile on the other’s face made his heart skip a beat and he was this close to calling him cute out loud, not that Seung was mind if he did most likely. When they got there he sat the carry on, on top of a counter and opened it up. He could admit to looking more at the other man then at the luggage though. “She will love them.” He nodded and glanced at the gifts for his father and brother. He could see a soccer dvd which he assumed was for Matt and a book on architecture of South Korea he figured was for his Dad.

Once he’d set the gifts down and his luggage was empty of them he bent again to close up his luggage and put it back onto it’s wheels. Scooping the puppy up again he looked at Terry. “Open yours?” He said motioning to the carry on of his the other was holding. “Think you will like.” He was fairly certain the other would, if Terry didn’t he’d be surprised.
Once Terry got his gifts, and maybe tried something, they could head up to the others room and he could relax and they could talk. “Should try something.” And he decided, puppy in hand, to make himself at home and headed for the others fridge to see what was in there to drink, he didn’t think the other would mind or his family. He had been allowed the last time...speaking of which...maybe there was still a container of banana milk in there or a juice bottle of his? The thought of that had him feeling rather happy and a bit blissful at the idea.

When his presents was brought up he nodded and turned back to the bag. He was pleasantly surprised to find some of the bread Seung had mentioned before and large fruit. He removed them from the bag, leaving the rest of Seung’s items inside, then zipped it up. He looked between the bread and the fruit, not sure which one he wanted to try first seeing how they both looked good. “Which do you suggest first?” He asked after a moment and looked over at the other with a small smile. When he saw where the other was heading he gave a chuckle. “I think a few of your drinks are still in there, check towards the back on the right side.” He could feel Ace twining around his legs so he bent down to pet the kitten for a moment.

Nodding his head he peeked over the top of the fridge door. “Bread is fresh...made this morning. Might try that...can have with pear.” He said, identifying for the other just what the fruit was. “Asian pear, different from pears here - better.” At least to him they were. He liked them a lot more, the flavor and how juicy they were. It was two different things to him.
Ducking back down to look for his drinks, to see if any were left, he came up with the only remaining item - a small container of banana milk. Silently cheering he stood up and went to poke a hole in it, seeing as there was no straw, so he could sip at it from the top. “We go your room if you want?” Not that eating in a bedroom was normally done but he knew some people did do such things here, and they had when he’d slept over.

Terry straightened up from petting Ace and nodded. “Alright, I’ll try the bread first then. I’m sure if I eat both I will not want to eat later.” He said with a chuckle. He then moved to wash his hands, not wanting to touch the food just yet until they were clean. “I’ll put the pears in the fridge for later.” He was curious on how different the taste would be but he was equally as curious about the bread so it wasn’t a hardship to have one now and the other later.
“Sounds good, I’m sure you will want to actually rest somewhere you can stretch out after being in the plane.” He nodded as he dried his hands. He put the pears in the fridge and set the bread on a plate then moved to help Seung with his luggage again with a small smile.

“Can share the pears with family also.” He said, since there were six there, it wouldn’t be a bad idea. it would mean none went bad, or risked it even. Watching the other wash his hands, sipping on his drink, he had to keep the puppy from knocking the small container from his hands as the little one seemed to want a taste.
Nodding to that he smiled. “I would. But would like to hear what you thought on videos and anything you want to know.” Since he was sure the other would have questions on various things he’d seen in some of the videos. “To your room.” He said with a smile and helped himself by grabbing a piece of his own luggage to bring up to the others room. Since he had clothing in there and would likely change since he’d been in the same thing for over fourteen hours. A change in clothing, and possibly a shower, would be lovely.

“Good idea. Are they best to eat as they are or cooked in something?” He asked, curious. Every time he looked over at Seung and the puppy he would get a small smile. “Oh and I almost forgot, I bought a couple different collars and leashes for him as well. No name tags though he does have a tag to say he is up to date on his shots.” He hadn’t been sure if Seung would have a preference to colors for the collars or styles so he had bought a small variety, along with a couple different leashes. One of the leashes was one that could lengthen or retract as well.
Terry nodded again and lead the other male up to his room, setting his luggage by the door and setting the plate with his bread on the desk for a moment. He wasn’t worried about Ace getting into it as the kitten was currently sniffing at Seung’s luggage, interested in the smells. “Feel free to make yourself comfortable. Do you want a shower and then talk or save that for later?” He asked. He wasn’t trying to tell the other that he needed one but instead was just offering it in case he wanted one to help relax.

“Can eat fresh or cooked. Like them fresh personally - best in my opinion.” He answered with a light smile in place. The little puppy having decided to lay it’s head on his shoulder and be still, for now. “Oh! Didn’t have to buy so many.” He would find a way to repay the other for it, but to know he was up to date on his shots was nice, very nice indeed, and he would have some choices in collar and leash. He just had to pick a name and he’d get a name tag made up then.
“Shower then we can talk. Been on a plane for long time.” He said while setting the puppy down, he had set his luggage by the door as well. “Have snacks in there, foods also, if you are interested or curious. Can have some, or just look.” He offered up as he went to find some clothing to change into. Opting, due to being in a nice warm home and it not mattering as much what he wore, for something comfortable that he’d normally wear to bed. “I can do bathroom on my own, helped last time.” Since he knew where everything was and such. He grabbed his bathroom things and went to shower quickly, and remove his make up and clean his face properly. His contact case and glasses came with him as well.

“Ok, might have to try it out both ways then.” Terry said and had to stop himself from once again calling Seung and the puppy cute. “It wasn’t a problem at all. And this way you have extra incase something happens to any he wears.” While the puppy hadn’t shown to be one to chew on things, there was always the chance that collars could get ruined in other ways or snap off after getting snagged on something.
“Alright, I’ll wait until you get back before getting into anything.” He said then sat down on the floor to play with Ace and the puppy. While he hadn’t gotten any dog toys for Seung, there were enough of Ace’s toys around the house that there was something the two animals could be amused by. When Seung came back he would find Terry tossing a ball with a bell in the middle across the room and the two pets running back and forth trying to get it then return it to him.

He was still thankful for the extra collars and leashes, the options he’d have, and in case any got wet from rain or anything else. It was considerate, among other things, of Terry. The shower was nice, hot, and relaxing as he washed up and took the time to wash his face. Once the shower was over and he was in front of the mirror he finished cleaning his face, with what some might call a million different products, but it wasn’t really that many. Since he had taken his contacts out before the shower he pulled on his glasses after getting dressed in comfortable bed clothing and headed for the others room with his things in his arms.
Stepping into the others room, smiling as he saw the two playing, he went to put his things away and settled onto the others bed. “Was nice, needed that.” Yes, he really did. Running his fingers through his hair he flopped back onto the others bed and turned to face him. “Tell me what you found interesting and anything you want to know about? Haven’t talked to you in days.” he said while shifting to glance around and see if the other had tried the bread yet, he hoped he liked it.

Terry looked up when Seung walked in, giving him a smile and tossing the ball a couple more times. When the other man sat down on the bed, he moved up off the floor to join him, watching the two pets continue to play. “I’m glad. I know I usually feel better taking a shower after a long trip.” He said with a nod then laced his fingers with Seung’s. “I found many things interesting so like I said earlier, it’s hard to pick them out in any sort of order.” He said with a chuckle. “Tell me a little about the different customs for eating in a group. I know you and your friends explained some of it when you were making the video but is there more?” He asked, picking a random topic off the top of his head.
He had indeed gotten into the bread while waiting for Seung to return from his shower, though he had only eaten about half as the kitten and puppy duo had demanded his attention again. Since he had moved it over to the side table next to his bed though it was within reach if he wanted to continue now that the animals were content to play with each other only.
