"Yep," Harrison said. "I made up a worksheet."
He had two other pieces of paper, and he handed the first to Lawrence.
"This is a workout, see? It's the same one I do, but it's a good beginner one. It's got the sets you got to do, with squats and lifts and all." There were half-traced figures drawn on the paper, illustrating each set. "Now, it's not gonna ruin your figure or nothing, just give you some, you know, tone...knowing how to block's only going to get you so far."
Harrison took out the second piece of paper,
"And this is the other thing. Before you work out, so you don't pass the ******** out, you got to drink a protein shake. There's a few recipes on here. This one's peanut butter. ...This one's vanilla. That way, at least you're getting breakfast."

Lawrence smiled suddenly in a way which was slightly unnerving, going from cold and disagreeable to approving and grateful, neatly folding the paper against his thigh to take with him. "Oh these will be very useful I'm sure." He said. "Thank you." He would certainly read over them and perhaps consider the excercise if it wasn't too much effort. He had no intention of making anything with peanut butter in it.
"Can I go now?" He asked sweetly.

"No, a protein shake a day isn't gonna solve s**t. You still got to eat regular."
Harrison put the cup of water in Lawrence's hands.
"...I'm walking back with you."

Lawrence raised a brow at Harrison. "I am an excellent cook, I eat exceptionally well."
And taking a sip of the zero calories drink, he stood carefully.
"Won't your husband be upset?" he asked with the hint of a smile.

"Maybe you got worms," Harrison said.
"What, for taking the elderly across the street? Nah. Then again, maybe. His track record with old people isn't the greatest."

Lawr smiled but it was a cold smile. "No need to be vicious about it. A simple not interested would have sufficed."
If there was one significant downside to the island it was the sheer amount he was subjected to reminders about his age. It never got more tolerable only less and it just made him even more intent on squirming away from Harrison as soon as possible.
"Why exactly are you following me home then?" But even while he spoke he briskly exited the infirmary, concious of anyone who so much as glanced at him on the way.

"What the ******** do you mean, not interested? Of course I'm not ******** interested. I'm walking you home because you ******** fainted," Harrison lied.
"And you still didn't have any orange juice," he grumbled.

"Fair enough, there's no reason to get indignant about it." he shrugged his shoulders and finished off the water, holding the cup out to Harrison as if he was a butler.
"Orange juice has its time and place." he said, hurrying through the cold and pulling his jacket closer.

"Yeah it has a time and a place." Harrison ticked off on his fingers. "For breakfast. With Vodka. And after somebody has a hypoglycemic ******** incident."
Harrison snatched up the cup.
"And you're still cold, too. Just tell me before you hit the snow."
