Everything was pretty new to Blythe as their younger sibling had practically threatened them to go out and stop being so co-dependent. Honestly, Blythe didn't care either way, they would have a great time no matter what. Val had shoved a flyer in their face before joking about finding love and departing to their own dorm. The event looked like a fantastic idea and that's what had brought the young hybrid here today. Approaching the table with a bright smile, Blythe filled out their name on the sign up sheet and was given a name tag. B L Y T H E they wrote it all caps and an explanation point just for emphasis. Blythe had managed to do a little bit of "dating research" before coming and was dressed fairly well into formal clothing, a button up, slacks, and nice dress shoes. They had put on a bit of cologne and brushed their teeth three, no, four times just earlier.

Somehow, eating had not crossed Blythe's mind as now slight hunger was starting to set in. They moved to pick up a lollipop and smiled. This would do. Blythe then eyed a second candy but noticed a stern stare from a coordinator and Blythe laughed a bit nervously. You'll be seated at table ten. Blythe nodded and quickly made their way in that direction. As they approached, a girl was seated with a cute plush in their arms. "Hello there! My name is Blythe and I am here to be your potential date. Platonic or romantic is up for you to decide!" Blythe was enthusiastic about the whole situation, but only because Blythe had no idea what any of this was or what being in love truly entailed. The concept was foreign but it seemed interesting none-the-less. "You must be my-..." they looked down at her name tag. "You must be Eve!" Blythe shifted their eyes trying to remember what comes next and then shoved their hand forward for a hand-shake.

Raleka didn't have much of a choice for how she would react when her assigned partner approached, because they simply came out of seemingly nowhere. Her lilac gaze first flitted to the name tag. Ah, that's how you spell Riamheid, is what she thought, and then her eyes looked to the ears of the Goblin.

As a hybrid, her Chimera and Dyrad combination made Raleka used to some prejudice, but Goblins were considered to be rather cagey. When she was little and still lived in Dryad territory, she had never had contact with the other Daydreams, but she knew there was a bit of bigotry against them. Riamheid already seemed to the university student as being a bit carefree, a bit forward, but overall... attempting to be friendly. Raleka couldn't say she ever even put that much effort into being charming, toothy smile or not. And yet, the presence of an actual person still made her very nervous. She clutched her kitty plush closer to her chest.

"Thank you. For the compliment about the plushie," she said, weakly attempting a smile. "Uh, yes, I'm Raleka. And you're Riamheid. So, it's a pleasure to meet you!" The hybrid didn't normally make this much effort to be cheerful, but she really wanted this to go well. "Do you go to school here? At the Academy, I mean?"

There were a few bags of brightly colored candies in the center of the table, just waiting to be picked up and eaten. Whoever had organized this event put a lot of thought into it. Raleka dragged a bag toward herself, opened the ribbon at the top, and popped one into her mouth. She was expecting chocolate, but it was cinnamon flavored. Her face twisted a little in surprise.

Ok now she felt a bit bad. Here this pretty cute nightmare walked up dressed for something more formal and here she was just like normal in her sweater and most comfortable jeans. Not only that they were quite beautiful with those crimson fluffy wings. Still she smiled at their pick up line it felt like it almost came off a brochure. “Yes” She said reaching out and giving his hand a gentle shake. “I’m your potential date tonight so it seems like it’s up to the both of us if this goes further or not. By the way I like the nametag Blythe.” It was fairly bold and while she wasn’t sure if it was a joke she had to admit the little exclamation point on the end was kind of a cute touch. She gestured for them to sit down and realized they didn’t have a plush. While she was pretty sure they wouldn’t need a plush to squeeze the daylights out of if they were nervous it was still a nice little way to remember the event so when a coordinator walked by with a armload of plushies she held up a hand and held up one finger quickly and the woman just nodded and handed her a plush while not even breaking stride. Offering the plush out to Blythe she gave them a tentative smile. “You might as well take one after all I think they are to commemorate the event no matter how it goes for students.” She tried to think of something interesting but failed miserably so she went with how she sort of thought things like this went. “I’m in a senior in Arkham looking toward Grendel for art or litterateur. I have a lot of little pets and I’m a horrible dancer.” She shifted a bit and looked into the crimson eyes of the nightmare across from her not sure how much she should really add or not. “What about yourself?” She liked listening to the histories of others perhaps it was how she was raised or maybe it was really a fallen thing as some seemed to think.

Lokni got lost in the weather, enjoying it immensely. He was sitting on the ground when he suddenly realized he was being rude, he should be inside awaiting Morginn's arrival not outside indulging in his passion of weather.

Getting to his feet he walked over to the entrance and went inside, scanning the room he saw several new people had entered and wondered if one was the person he was to meet.

Slowly moving about the room he was glancing at name tags when he saw a Fey leaning against a wall and saw the name he was looking for.

Stopping in front of the Fey but not to close he gave a slight nod of his head and said "Hello, I am Lokni I believe you are Morginn the person I have been looking for. May I inquire as to how you are this fine evening?" He smiled and awaited a response.

As the fallen shook their hand, Blythe smiled radiantly with excitement. Everything was going according to plan, whatever plan that was anyway. "Excellent! A mutual approach to companionship! I am very eager." Blythe looked down at the nametag in question and nodded. It was a pretty good idea to write it that way, if they did say so themselves. Their red eyes darted up again when they noticed that Eve was holding out something. A plush. Blythe blinked with a bit of surprise. They had never received a gift from someone that wasn't a family member. A softer smile grew upon their face as they shifted their eyes to the fallen, to look her in the eyes. "It's just like yours. Thank you, I will cherish it forever." Eve started in about herself, interesting facts that Blythe mentally noted. Now it was Blythe's turn. A look of determination set in within their smile as they gathered the facts in their mind. "I am a junior in Eldritch. I'm new to the idea of school but I hear that if I strive toward the community college, I can learn the trade of justice! I am interested in the history of protection and sacrifice!" Blythe bit their lip eagerly, stifling an excited noise. "I also do not know how to dance." They were really enjoying talking to new people, especially Eve. She was very nice to them and not at all what Val had said it would be like. Blythe was pleased by all this, and it was pretty obvious as they simply could not hide their elation. Oh right, maybe they should ask a question now. Blythe not-so-inconspicuously looked down at their palm, squinting a bit to read the faded ink. "Do you... have any siblings?" Blythe darted their eyes back up as though they came up with the question all on their own and smiled awkwardly. "I have one younger sibling. Their name is Valentein!"

Caramel continued to walk around looking for Rose, since she was the first person he was to be meeting up with. He didn't want to give up just yet. Without meeting her, he imagined what she looked like pink or rosy red maybe?? He wondered if she would like a guy like him, she sounded kinda fancy and Caramel really wasn't. He wasn't sure if he wanted to dance to court or connect with another race and learn their courting rituals. Caram wasn't much for dancing, he made a face at the thought. All he wanted was to get his business degree and open his own bar.

Ram had wondered about the unusual adornments on the chimera, and now they realized that they were not accessories but actual leaves. And wood. A hybrid? No matter. Riamheid did not presume to judge the other races. Their ways were not goblin ways.


"I would not be so presumptuous as to claim that my comments on the plush doll would apply to you as well..." Riamheid said as they settled in, though their fanged smile seemed to imply the exact opposite.

Charm - a way to turn others to your side and to engender positive emotions. There was no need to sacrifice secrets to serve it, and Ram was - as they were now realizing - fairly good at it. "But it is, indeed, a pleasure." They took one of the candies - Cinnamon?! Ram palmed another one for later.

"My, these are tasty." they commented, returning to the question at hand, "Yes, I recently transferred here. I was sorted into Enoch house. And yourself?"
