Why do you want this concept? I may not be the best at waxing eloquent upon anything, especially when my brain is mush and ready for bed after a long crazy week at work. But you know what? I'm still giving this a shot anyway because I've fallen in love with the Kirin, both the regular one and the Oroshi Kirin, from Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate. Ever since I first laid eyes on them, after getting a copy of the game for myself thanks to watching my friends play the game so many times, I knew I had to have them. In some form or other. Now, I have no idea how many months later, I have a chance to do just that in Soquili. I suppose I have a soft spot for Kirins. It's gotta be the scales and horn~ And the fluffy manes... and their unique abilities... @A@ I'm so determined to get these guys that I've spent over two hours pouring over this form and fretting out the details for their names and tempers lol. Why do you want this concept? This mare is to be the eventual leader (Sea Witch) of the Sea Glass herd. It would be a band of beach combers - welcoming aquatic and land ponies and familiars alike. They roam and make camp near watery areas and see what treasures the water brings. They craft jewelry and other sorts of trinkets, depending on materials, to trade with herds and individuals they come in contact with. (Slowly compiling info on it here.)
Oceanid spreads the story that she was blessed by a bargain with a powerful sea creature long ago, granting her long life and her aquatic features. It is but one legend among many told in the Sea Glass herd. This story isn't true of course (she was born a kelpi'suti) but it is the only version that most of the herd members will hear of. Overall she is clever, crafty and free with her wiles - one must be to be an embodiment of the ocean itself.
Herd members would be free to come and go as they please so that they can trade crafts and stories. That and hopefully lure more people into the herd. (This is one herd I would like to apply for a herd helper for if the slots ever come up again.)

Why do you want this concept? My Boy Auberon has been around since 09 and i have not won a breeding for him at all in that time. The owner of his LM has poofed in the last few years it seems but i would love to try and get a breeding for him before i come to terms with the fact i might need to end his LM and find him a new mate. Auberon was the second Soquili i ever had in the shop and i think hes beautiful in such a simple way that it would be sad not to get him a breeding with his first real mate before i end up needing to break them up.

Why do you want this concept? Ever since this SC came up I kept thinking to myself out of all the permissions I've been given by people, who would I want to custom for plot purposes. I was thinking MacLirs little sister as I've been trying for her for the past couple months but then I realized I can get her during regular custom slots, along with all of the others. I also considered doing customs for my own soqs but I can still get them through regular customs as well. So I went to my quest thread by chance and realized I had two there that I've been really wanting and have been putting some thought into. I came across the movie Princess Mononoke a long time ago when I was in middle school, maybe even early high school and I've been enthralled with the movie ever since. I watch it every now and again as well. The reason I want this concept is because I love everything she stands for, and everything the movie itself stands for. I'm not sure if you've ever seen the movie or not but I love her as a character and I would love to see her brought to life. She's fearless and strong and not afraid to back down from doing what is right. She's as loyal as the wolves that raised her and can hold a grudge against those that harm the ones she cares about. She cares for the environment and the balance that comes with everything coexisting. She's everything that is needed in the world today. Fearless and bold people to stand up for what is right, even if everyone is against you for it. That is why I want her. Without Unity we have nothing and we will ultimately destroy ourselves and she fights to keep that unity.

Why do you want this concept?
I adore Crea. He is likely my favorite Soq, and I am very proud of him overall. I am wanting to expand his family as he has been through some poopy times as of late. My concept bellow is for his mother. I would like to, if I am able to get her, also get his father at a later date. I do plan for him to have a large family, however, with many different types of Soquili. Most of his "family" will be very similar to him with the black and white and rainbows. His mother, on the other hand, is similar but much removed. She is far more "inhuman" in her personality. She sees things primarily in a black and white, and finds beauty in simplicity. She is very different then Crea, and as he was raised more by his father he would be shocked to see her at all. I would very much like to be able to use her with him to expand his plots, as he is just now getting back into the game of RP and plotting finally. She is a bit of an unknown darkness from his past, as she is not very warm and kind, more "high and mighty", distant and cold. She isn't mean, and does care for her children very much, but she doesn't "love" in the traditional sense. Love is to strong of an emotion for her to feel comfortably.
I chose his mother primarily for her looks and her more extreme levels of edits/mutations. This is a concept that I know requires a very special set of circemstances to get. She is not a concept that I feel I need as soon as possible. I had a few other ideas I was considering entering but those I'd like to have sooner rather then later. With this concept there is no time limit. I would just like her to come at some point.
Colourist Preference: Anyone who is interested in doing her! I am looking for mutant level edits, primarily on her wings, so as long as they can do that (or collab) I am a-ok! Collabs: I'm ok with it!

Why do you want this concept?This is what Chura looks like now. I was 17 at the time and had big, grand dreams for this guy -- he was going to be my most prized possession. But then I got him, and his muse didn't click for me. I've RPed him a grand total of 1 time (1 measly post) - barely even enough to get to know his character even on the surface. And I feel ungrateful. I feel terrible that I have not played with him the way he deserves. But for some reason, he doesn't speak to me -- he never has. I want to give him a fresh start - almost 10 years later, I want to bring him back to me. xP
He was supposed to be (in my mind) a creature of the swamp, a glorious, beautiful-only-to-himself, creepy creature of the swamp. But in 2007, doing something like that was virtually impossible so I designed him differently. Now, in 2016 -- and years before....when my desire to change him first began -- I want his outward looks to reflect the muse I had given him.

I'd like for him to essentially look similar (with a bit of your spin on it if you want) and perhaps without the shiny look to it. I got him originally back in 2007 as a bullfrog and I'd still like him to remain a 'bullfrog' by color - just with a bit of a mutated swamp twist to him. Another addition (mutation?) that I'd like to see on this completely revamped version of Chura is various plant growths attached to him. (Would they be a part of him, or just something growing on him, then?) Think swamp creature - like this following images one, two, three. The plant/vine/tree/wood like growths could be going up his legs, and perhaps around his back/neck? Face: The circle on his cheek should remain the same, but I'd like it if the eyes looked 'dead'. He's going to be revamped to look like a swamp creature so I think that looks better. Mane: I'd like for him to have hair - or something along those lines, added this time around. I really like how this makes it look like hair, but it's essentially the under-bog of the swamp just growing on him. Color is CC? Swampish green? Could he also have evidence of twigs/growth/swamp creatures coming out of it? He's a prince of the swamp so anything that makes him look like he comes out of it is great. Why do you want this concept?The background of this character goes back quite far. While I was in high school (over 12 years ago) and I was first learning about anime and it's related art I created a fox girl that has evolved quite a lot over the years. She became a big part of a story I've been attempting to write for years. She comes already with a long extensive backstory and personality. In a small way she's a reflection of my fun loving sarcastic self and embodies so many of my favorite things. Her concept started at about the same time that I discovered gaia and Soquili so having all those things come together would be amazing.

Why do you want this concept? It may be a bit of a cop-out but the biggest part of this is in my quest thread -- started back June of 2010 More Bitter than Bittersweet My dad's been fighting cancer for the last nine years now and the thread hasn't been updated since we started fighting again in 2013. Starting onwards from 2013:
Dad's surgery was a failure; from radiation his esophagus has actually melted to his aorta. My mother, sister, her partner, and I were gathered for what was expected to be an 8 hour surgery. The hospital gave us a buzzer; much like a restaurant buzzer and it went off 2 hours in. Told us that the cancer is inoperable --
Since then we've been doing cryogenic freezing treatments and rounds of chemo. There's now a mass on his lung, but since he's undergoing chemo there's nothing to do besides continue on the chemo.
Day in and day out we're living with the knowledge that this cancer won't go away and that what we're doing is trying to extend length of life without getting rid of all quality of living.
My dad is weak, tired, and more and more often losing the ability to speak coherently. It hurts my heart so very much.
This is why I've been off of the internet so much, because of spending my free time with family while I have them. I think of Kai so much while dad is weak and trying to fight. She was always with him. Always. It was hard to get her to go outside sometimes because she didn't want to leave him alone.
More importantly; dad still misses her. On one of my last visits (in January '16) he was talking about her.
She's still chemo dog. Forever.

She got us through some really traumatic times… and in the end we lost her to the same vicious beast that she had gotten my family through. I know it’s dramatic or perhaps melodramatic but it’s how I feel… Dad and I still can’t talk about our girl without crying. I swear there are more pictures of her up around the house than of me. She was the best thing for my family in more ways than I can imagine…
Powers from Domain (required if Getting Domain): Kai can, briefly, bring a good memory back to a Soquili’s mind – make it as strong as if it’s actually happening (relive something near and dear to that Soquili) but – the moment only lasts as long as she is physically in contact with the Soq that she’s helping – and its very physically/mentally draining on her.
Personality (required In general): Kai is a healer, definitely not in the typical way. She doesn’t mend cuts or heal sickness but she brings a peace to those around her without being obtrusive. One need not tell what’s wrong – she’ll just know and comfort gently without getting in the way or expecting an explanation.
Plot ideas (required): I’d like to get Kai into a plot of some sort with her acting as a marriage councilor – I think it would be absolutely fun to have a couple on the verge of breaking a lifemating and be ‘healed’ so to speak by having their memories heightened and being the catalyst to work through their own issues. (I have a couple of mine that I can use for this… It’d be extensive self-RP but once I have that done – possibilities are endless) From there Kai could set her sights on helping a torn Soquili – someone that isn’t inherently evil (IE not a Kalona/Skinwalker/etc) but was raised to embrace darker tendencies -- to pull someone back from the brink or getting them to forgive themselves for an ‘unforgiveable’ act. I’m also toying with the idea of her helping a grief stricken mother through the death of a child (this again are my own Soquili’s and I don’t want to say that’s what I’m going to do when I know I want to do the above RP already @__@)

Why do you want this concept? Alright, here's the story. My wife, Kamiki, and I have been Absolutely SUPER into/obsessed with Captain America & the Winter Sodier since the movie came out in 2014. It took our already large interest in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and ramped it up to 11. We've read a ton of comics, we cosplay as the characters, we go to conventions, we spend way too much time on tumblr, we write fanfics, we draw fanart, I can go on.
Soquili has been a home and RP land for us since 2005, and it would be SO meaningful to be able to bring the characters into the shop and be able to RP with each other here, plots, etc.
I've been sitting on one custom's worth of credits since I left staff in 2012, but, like I said, it's one custom's worth. I wanted to save what was left after I spent the rest for something really meaningful. And in 2014 I realized what that was after we both got really into this fandom.
I really want us to be able to each get one of the characters to RP together, so it's been my plan to hang onto them until one of us can get the concept, and use the rest of the credits to buy the other. But... getting a custom slot is hard as hell, can take years upon years, etc. Especially when one of those slots is an edited mutant. Especially when it's a cosplay - which makes even when bribe slots are open a really tricky business to appeal to a colorist. At least the cosplay restrictions have been lifted now, or this would be a literally impossible quest.

Why do you want this concept? I have always wanted a Kalona since I joined the shop years ago. My best friend designed (with input from yours truly) and gifted this idea to me, so she's even more special.

Herp De Derp Symphonic metal tributes are life. <3 Why do you want this concept? Because Venus is from a family that has become very dear to my heart quickly. It's a mish mash of crazy personalities who are very tight knit! It was orginaly just a lawlzy idea when we saw how much our CYO customs matched Tsizzy. Me and sage_the_vampric_angel joked how they could be siblings, then we won them! Through roleplay they really shined and made the concept solid. Now all that is missing from the family are two key members, Andromeda the mother and Venus the twin sister to Helios.
Venus has been a joy to roleplay in OOC aim roleplay so far. She has brought a new light and spark to my muse. Plus she is a key member to the family that shakes things up from the norm and challenges age old customs that to her are outdated. -- Colors & Markings -- Body: She has a cream white base. On her belly and legs it should fade to a tyrant purple, then to a grape purple near her hooves. All over this purple fade should be little stars and swirls. On her butt I would really like three stars in almost a cutie mark fashion. Face: eye color: A hot pink Eyebrows: CC. Something to match her mane Inner ear: Grape purple Face markings: She has a sort of swirly design on her cheeks and on her lower lip. Inside is the same tyrant-grape purple fade with stars as her legs. On her forehead there is a gold crescent moon. I would really love if she had like some purple eye shadow over her eyes to make them pop more. Mane: I want the top to be a kind loose mop of curls. Parted in the middle of her forehead with curly bangs framing her face. About mid-way down it should start to be in a large loose braid. Her hair will be white at the top, then a yellowish cream, then a dull pink, finally to a light purple. There should be little sparkles in her hair with the pink and purple parts. Tail: Custom unicorn tail. It should be long and sweep around in front of her back legs so that's it's facing her front. Long curly mane at the end with lots of floof going up the base! Her base coat cream white at the top then as it gets closer to the bottom it should fade into a coral pink with the hair at the end being a light purple like her hair. Hooves/Fetlocks: Custom long fetlocks. Sort of like angeni fetlocks but more floofy! Deep grape purple with yellow stars and swirls. Hooves should be a tyrant purple with a gold band on the bottom. Why do you want this concept? So basically when I was 13 (2006) I came across anime and manga and instantly fell in love with it. My all-time favourite show was Inuyasha, and Kagura was the dearest character ever to me. I even cosplayed her (very shyly, in my bedroom by myself with a fan and a kimono I'd scavenged from a random shop I found in the middle of nowhere). xD I've been trying to get her customed as a Kalona since 2008. I'd be perfect roleplaying her as a soquili, and even though I don't watch any anime anymore I still have a deep love for Inuyasha and will put on an episode once in a while. I even found the manga online from where the anime ended just to find out what happened to Kagura and oh my my (no spoilers I promise!) Back in 2007 (when I got my first Soquili, and unedited regular mare) I quested like crazy (selling fish and tin cans by the hundreds at one point) for this cosplay and a year later finally gathered enough funds to enter her. I've entered almost every single custom slots since 2008 for Kagura, and even attempted a few bribes but was never successful. I'll never give up though!

Her lips are full, and are a darker shade of red than her eyes (see refs). Hair:Her hair is brown, short, and is tied up in a ponytail with bangs. She has a white feather at the back of her ponytail. (see refs) Jewelry & Accessories: She has green beaded earrings (see refs). Also, I’d like her fan to be included somewhere, possibly opened by her feet (see refs). Wing Style #4 (with smooth feathers): Please edit the wings so that the feathers are much larger, and the wings look slightly different than the premade. Dark brown feathers, and dark red slightly transparent wings. More edits: I'd like there to be brown and dark red feathers on the floor. (Only the one white one in her hair though). Devil Tail #2: Dark red (color of her lips). No horns Clothing: She wears a kimono in the anime and manga, but I don’t want her to be wearing it as a soquili. Instead, please add some kind of garment/cloth that covers most of her body or neck with the same colors and pattern of her kimono (the white and red one).
