 The book's contents were both not what Amihan expected and exactly what she expected. Though truth be told she wasn't sure if she was happy with this discovery. As her eyes read the pages, she was certain her face was getting redder and not from a lack of breathing. Fanning herself, the flight instructor decided she should think of something else. Unfortunately the first thing she thought of was not a thing but a person. Mr. Sheffield to be exact and Amihan didn't think her brain could ever manage to insert the Numerology professor into the scenario the book depicted. Which made her cheeks ever redder and hotter. The dryad lingered by the roulette booth, mostly to act as a steady meeting point for his sister while giving the Nightmares and Daydreams playing encouraging smiles. He felt his phone buzz in his pocket and retrieving the device, Narra smiled and idly gave the plushie he'd won a squeeze. Text Message from Narra I'm not going to "be" here. I'm "already" here. Look for me by the roulette booth. I'm the only brown dryad in a sea of colorful Nightmares and Daydreams so you might have to look harder. I'll keep an eye out for you, too. He was quite glad that the venue was indoors. Typing all that out with cold fingers would have been difficult and would definitely have taken longer than necessary.

Topaz thought she recalled where that booth was. It was pretty close to the entrance she had come in through. She turned and backtracked through the crowd, slipping between people and hoping she was right. She took a moment to be glad that she was so tall, otherwise it would have been that much harder to make it through the crush! As she neared her destination, she spotted a crown of pale blonde hair and golden leaves. "Narra," Topaz called out excitedly over all the noise, wiggling over to the Dryad with a huge grin on her face. Thank goodness he was so tall as well!

 Odessa couldn't help but feel a wave of exhaustion run over her, she hadn't been getting much sleep lately, staying up late to study. She was so close to graduating and becoming a senior, and her aunt was riding her to do well. Still, she didn't want to miss this event for anything, so she had drug herself out here to see everything that was going on.

Narra was all warm smiles when he heard Topaz's voice, not that he wasn't already smiling to begin with; he was a rather friendly dryad. He waved at her, both to acknowledge that he'd spotted her and to serve as encouragement for those around them to make way. With his other hand, he held the plushie he'd won behind his back, having decided (in the span of time between typing out his second text and sending it to the baphomet) that the plushie would be a good gift for her. "Excuse me, pardon me, please let me through," he softly said to those around him as he manoeuvred himself towards his friend. "Hello, Topaz," he greeted, looking up at his taller friend.

 Kara was waiting near the entrance of the festival for Odessa. She felt bad for the girl. She was usually the one cramming for school, but she knew Odessa's aunt was being a bit of a jerk with finals coming up. She felt bad and wished she could help Odessa some, so when the festival was announced she knew she had to make sure Odessa went, she had always had a thing for the festivals here and Kara couldn't really blame her.

 This was Pandora's first festival since coming to the Academy. She had heard some pretty cool things about the school festivals and had hoped she'd seen one before graduating, so of course she found herself coming down to see what all of it was about. She smirked, hefting a bag over her shoulder and a guitar case over the other. Maybe she could even perform for a few people if they were interested.

Topaz's grin widened as she watched Narra make his way through the crowd towards her. She kept heading in his direction, watching her hooves to make sure she didn't step on anyone, and met him halfway. "It's good to see you again," she said happily, reaching out and giving Narra a quick hug. She wasn't sure how Dryads dealt with physical affection (she hadn't thought to bring it up before), so she hoped hugs were fine. Probably were, since they lived closely with Fey and Fey tended to be very affectionate indeed! "This is great timing, actually! I have something for you that I wanted to give you in person!" She fished in her bag and pulled out two plushies. "Actually, one's for Renge," she clarified, holding them out to Narra. "There was a booth set up teaching how to make them, and I thought it looked like fun!"

 Meliae couldn't help but be excited about the festival. She had heard there were new races appearing at the Academy and she wanted to get a good look at them! It'd be nice to not be the complete new kid for a change. She hoped she could meet one!

 Sarren's caretakers decided to drag him out to see the festival. It wasn't that he didn't like them, but he had a tendency to get lost in his projects and never even realize something was going on! So he danced about happily among everyone else, glad that he didn't miss what was going on right outside his own window!Spoilering the familiar since it's a snake~

 Ahhhh... the season of love! Akylan definitely couldn't let himself miss something like this. All the beautiful lovely ladies that needed dates.. What kind of ladies' man would he be if he let them be lonely?

 Syndri didn't waste any time getting themself to the festival. They admired all of the decorations, studying each and everyone one to see how they were made. It was interesting, but they couldn't help but smile prettily at one of the attendants at the particular booth, hoping to be able to score a prize. Point Total: 53 Feb 1st: 16, 20, 17

 Candy (12)Now it had come time for Candy to once again bring her family out for another event, this time being the Hunter's Jubilee. It was a good thing it was inside this time, since Winter Solstice had been really cold for her freshlings. Now that they were inside they wouldn't have to worry about the cold at all as they went about. Right as she entered with her family she found herself being given a rose, accepting the gift before the stranger walked off. Surely this person had someone else that deserved the rose more than her. However, it would be rude to deny such a gift right?   Phyre (11)"Let's go play some games!" Phyre exclaimed as she took her brother's hands, taking them to a ring toss game that if you make a shot, you got candy! However, as Phyre started to toss the rings it became clear that she wasn't the best at this game. Maybe one of her brothers would do better? ", Crystallize, your turn!" Crystallize (14)"Okay Phyre," Crystallize giggled some at his older sister's enthusiasm. She had never seen her this excited before. Maybe she was just excited to spend this time with her family? Crystallize knew he was excited about that. Turns out he wasn't terrible at the ring toss game, managing to get a single ring to go onto the pole. For winning he managed to get some jawbreakers. He was for sure going to share this with his siblings ", Your turn Larimar."  Larimar (17)This whole event was making the elf nervous. He wasn't used to all these people, and there were so many nightmares and daydreams he had never seen before either. The only nightmares he had ever seen was his mommy and siblings who were hybrids, one of which being a mutated one. The only thing really keeping him from tearing up and rushing to Candy to hold him was the fact that his siblings were here, making sure he kept busy. When it became his turn to toss the ring, he refused to do so, simply holding onto his big sister Phyre's arm and shaking his head no. He didn't want to play this game. He was sure he would simply miss. Maybe if there was a different game he would try it out.

Ah, Hunter's Jubilee. That was always quite the busy time around the Academy. Jezebeth had, in a sense, been early awaiting the Holiday for a change. Or, maybe the better word was she'd been nervously waiting for the day to make it's annual appearance. She'd been friends with Enoukn for years at that point, but sometimes...when they were hanging out she felt a bit shy when she sat in his lap to read books. Certain actions that had been so easy to do as friends, were starting to become more awkward. What was happening?
She hadn't really known at first. She'd attributed those things with the pains of growing up. As the Holiday started to loom closer and with the songs of 'love' in the area she started to get a better grasp of what might actually be going on in her head. Did she have those sorts of feelings with Enoukn? She certainly did enjoy spending time with Eno, he really was a lot of fun despite the rather constantly grumpy look he has on his face.
She felt the heat on her cheeks than and realized she must have been blushing. She had thought about asking Enoukn to join her and in the end she had. But she hadn't asked him there on a 'date', more like an invitation to a fellow friend. Ah, how she had messed that one up. They day was still early though!

 Lazarus (4)Having just gotten here, Lazarus began to see if any of his friends were here. He was sure at least one of them would of showed up to such an amazing event, right? Sure enough, his eyes fell upon Odessa, a sigh escaping his lips. He was glad she was here, and maybe they could even hang out some? Before he started to head over to her though, he noticed a stand of roses and thought of her. Surely she would appreciate one right? It seemed she didn't have many things at the moment that had been given to her. Picking out a lavender/purple rose, he quickly paid for it and started to head over to her. Once he was in front of her, he waved to her happily and presented his gift ", Hello Odessa! It is nice to see you here. I saw this rose and though that maybe you might like to have one of your own."  Yihad (16)Another event Yihad had somehow found humself at. Why was hu always going to these things? Must be the candy... yeah. Anyhow, hu was here and needed something to do, and that bottle game was looking fun. It would seem that no one had managed to knock more than two bottle down so far out of the five that were there. Maybe hu could managed to try to knock one down humself? Hu had managed to end up knocking not just one bottle down, but three once hu had hus chance to throw. This accomplishment ended up causing a few of the people watching to gasp in awe. It wasn't really that amazing of a feat, right? Anyhow, hu had managed to win hus plushie for this game.  Somansh (2)Before she got to work on her classes, Somansh wanted to go to this event and see what she could get out of it. Maybe there was a few potted plants like last time she could get and grow. There was still room for more in her dorm room, and she was sure that she could handle a few more. At the moment though she couldn't find any, but she did find herself being gifted a necklace by someone and was told they found her to be pretty before rushing off. What? Someone found her pretty?! But... but how could they with her half wings?!   Jacinatha (17)Candy candy! That was all that was on the little freshling's mind once more. For now all she could do was look at all the stalls in awe, trying to figure out which she wanted to go to. There was so much candy, and she wanted them all! Her caretakers wouldn't like putting the already energetic imp to bed tonight, that was for sure.
