Chance let out a yell of satisfaction as the snowball went over his head.
"Hah!" he crowed, and then, abandoning all pretense of a snowball, he dived straight at Otto, threw his arms around his waist, and promptly sent them both toppling over sideways into a snowdrift.

A hollow grunt escaped him as he was practically body checked into a snowdrift. He laughed, having lost all ability to pretend to be grouchy or ill-tempered by his defeat. Instead, with his arms still over the man's shoulders, he idly flicked icy snow at the man's neck in hopes it would trickle down his neck. Sadly while doing this it caused him to bat snow at his own face too, but sacrifices had to be made in the name of irritating his partner.

"Ack - cold!"
Chance swatted at Otto's hands, icy snow seeping into his clothes and down the back of his neck. He shook his head again, trying to dispel some of the snow, and then swiped at his cold flushed face, pushing damp curls out of his eyes.
"Not cool," he said breathlessly, grinning down at Otto. "I totally think I won this round."

Otto gave him a devilish smile as he said, "You think so, huh?" with a haughty air about him. With another smirk, he smoothed a handful of snow right in Chance's face, point blank.

Chance let out a screech of mingled laughter and outrage.
"LOW ******** BLOW!" he bellowed and promptly rolled sideways onto his back, a hand clutching his heart melodramatically.
"And now I go to my death," he intoned.

Otto snorted, snickering to himself as Chance played out his dramatics off to the side of him.
"Yeah yeah, I'll mourn you or whatever." He yawned, flicking more snow at the man, listlessly. Actually, if the man wanted to play dead, he may as well bury him. So Otto got to his knees and slowly pushed snow over the man's legs.
"Ashes to ashes, dust to dust, and what have ya.." He mumbled to himself as he buried his boyfriend.

"I'm sure you will," said Chance, still melodramatically, gazing up at the sky with both hands now against his chest. He could feel the cold starting to seep into his legs, thanks to Otto being - well, Otto - but he kept going.
"I leave all my teeshirts to Otto Graves, and also that candy stash I was hiding from him all along..."

While Otto was surely grateful deep down knowing he'd inherit a plethora of teeshirts much too large for him, such sentiments were cast aside at the last bit of hypothetic inheritance. Otto stopped burying Chance long enough to give the man a horrified gasp. "You been stashin' candy and ain't been sharin'? You lousy piece of s**t!" Otto swept his arms deep into the snow behind Chance's head and shovelled it all onto his face and shoulders.

"I also bequeath to Otto Graves my telescope," Chance rasped dramatically, continuing as though he hadn't heard Otto's indignant squawk. "Just make sure it doesn't get broken before you look at the Orion constellation and - ack - "
A wave of snow was suddenly piled over his head, interrupting Chance's monologue before he could finish. He spluttered and yelped, pushing himself up and swatting snow off of his shoulders and swiping a wet gloved hand across his face.
"Holy s**t, okay, I'll give you the candy," he wheezed.

Otto watched calmly as Chance sputtered about, folding his arms while the man got right back up again. "Yeah you better." He huffed, "No one keeps candy from me. Not nobody."

Chance swiped a hand down the front of his face, which was now flushed red from the cold. There was, however, a cheeky grin on his face in spite of the fact that he was shivering slightly.
"Yes, but if you smother me in snow," he said seriously (except not really). "You'll never know where I hid it, now will you?"

Otto smirked, shrugging lightly. "I'll find it."
He leaned over and kissed Chance's cold cheek. Then, for added condescension, he patted the man's head. "Poor baby is shivering."

"Nuh uh," was Chance's incredibly mature reply, but the corners of his lips quirked upwards at the kiss to his cheek. It warmed him, even if Otto's lips were still cold from the air.
He knocked his head playfully against Otto's and said dryly, "You really need a better nickname for me than man baby. And of course I'm shivering, it's ******** cold out here and somebody - " He gave Otto a pointed look. " - just dumped a gallon of snow on me."

Otto scoffed. "Now that's just mean. Who'd cover a man in snow?" He flicked some snow off of Chance's shoulder as if he hadn't been the one to put it all there.
"Man Baby suits you just fine. Don't see a problem." And it was still his nickname in his phone.

"Oh, jeez, I have no idea," said Chance with a roll of his eyes. "Maybe some jerk who just really wanted candy or something."
He reached out a hand and pressed it smack dab onto Otto's face, cold and snow and all.
"Fine, then I'm putting your name in as Otto the Worst Ever."
