Terry nodded and gave a hum. "Yes, we're fairly close." He said. There was always some distance that growing up caused and since he has had responsibilities in this war between Order and Chaos it has put a but more distance between them.

"How about you? Anyone in your family you are particularly close to?" He asked then glanced at the hand on his shoulder and got a thoughtful look on his face. Terry gave Seung a glance over then shifted so her could grab the other Knights forearms. "I have an idea. Maybe it will help if you aren't worried about your balance and are just making sure you get used to footwork. That is, if you trust me to keep you up."

"My younger cousin." He answered without much thought. They hadn't been close, or at least not so close, till this summer. But they'd gotten close enough he tended to act like a parent to her often. He was close with his parents, especially his mother, as well as his sister. but he'd been the one his cousin had called and he'd been there for her - the first one there. She had called him and not someone else. They were especially close since this summer.

"I trust you." And he found that he really did trust the other. Normally he never let people in, or rather he let a few people in, but he needed to make friends here and allies. He knew he needed it but he hadn't thought he'd trust the other as he did or find himself friends with him, it had surprised him when he's asked the other if they were friends when they'd been eating a few evenings back. Where he might shove it away, try to deny it and avoid it, he wasn't doing so this time. This was more than an ally now - this was a friend he trusted...someone he'd do what he could to help.

"Then I'm glad you have that closeness." Terry said with a small smile. He didn't think anything about it being Seung's cousin and not a sibling or a parent he was closest too after all these thing happen all the time.

If his heart gave a jump when the other man said he trusted him, he just wrote it off as being happy a friend did indeed trust him to at least keep him upright. "Thank you. Just hold on to me. Keep your feet parallel, shoulder width apart for this, you don't have to worry about pushing okay?" He waited until he was sure Seung had a good grip then started to slowly skate backwards, pulling him along with him. "Don't look at your feet, just feel how they are and keep them slightly bent and apart." He said with a smile.

Nodding his head, he had been just about to look down at his feet and the ice, and focused his dark eyes onto the others lighter eyes and let the other guide him. Glancing over the others shoulder to watch other people skating, watching how some moved with ease while a few others seemed to perhaps be new to it as well or somewhat new.

"What school do you go to?" He asked, suddenly curious. He should be in the university here but he needed to first work on his English skills, hence the school he was in. It wasn't something he was upset with though, he couldn't hope to pass in university if his skills were not good enough with English. He wasn't about to risk his grades just for pride or some other such things, he was a sensible person in such things. He cared enough about his grades to not risk them, he'd made sure to do well back home and would continue to do so.

"What for?" He then asked, wondering what the other was going to school for...then again now that he thought about it...how old was the other even?

Terry was glad to see Seung wasn't having trouble balancing like this but kept a decently slow pace for now that way it wouldn't either throw him off or end up running them into someone.

"I go to DCU, er that is Destiny City University." He said, clarifying just in case the other man hadn't hear the acronym for the school just yet even though he was sure he had heard of the school itself. "I'm going for a game programming degree. And yourself?" Seung wasn't the only one who realized he didn't know how old his skating partner was. Terry was fairly certain Seung was at least around his age but he wouldn't actually guess the exact number.

"I have tutor from there...found a flyer for them." He said, he'd been there and would attend in the fall. "Will go there in the fall." Even though he'd already been to university and knew what it was like, though he also was sure it would be different here. School in general seemed different now than what it was back home - very different. A lot less hours were spent in school for one, that was the biggest difference. It was a good thing he hadn't gone to school the first day prepared for school like he had back home, that would have been very embarrassing.

"Father wants me to go for business, like back home. I want to write." An issue between the two of them, a point of discomfort for him as he felt obligated to do as his family wanted but he wanted what he wanted as well. He was still working on a story but what would he do when it was done? It was something personal, deeply so, and meant for a person who was now dead...so what to do when he was done with it? Maybe burn it in a ritual way? A gift to his departed friend? Bury it somewhere, maybe at a temple back in Korea? Or perhaps he'd keep it hidden away under lock and key.

Pushing the troubling thoughts from his mind, before it could bring his feelings down, he focused on the other and on what they were doing.

"Has the tutor been helpful?" Terry asked with a raised eyebrow. He wondered briefly if the fact that Seung would be going this fall meant that he was younger then he thought but he could always ask at some point.

He gave an understanding hum as he maneuvered them around a little kid on the rink carefully. "I'm inclined to say you should fallow your own dreams and go for writing." He said. While he didn't want to cause trouble between Seung and his family, he also knew that you did better when you enjoyed the work you did. "Why kind of things have you or do you want to write?"

"Yes, and the one from the school." He said nodding his head. "Just slow." Slower than he wanted but English was harder for him than Japanese had been when he'd learned that. "Harder than Japanese...very different." Came the answer from the other.

Glad for the others help, as he was able to get around the kid which he wouldn't have done on his own, he glanced backward toward the little kid. He was glad he hadn't hit into them, that might have really hurt the poor kid if he landed on them. "I want to..." But it was hard to do that, it wasn't the easiest thing. He was hoping that because he was here now he could follow his own dreams, he hadn't talked to his family about it though. He was planning on just going for a literature major when he got to DCU though.

"Stories...fantasy." He answered the other rather quickly and easily. He wasn't sure he'd stick with it after finishing the book for his departed friend, he might though. He hadn't thought too much ahead but he did find thinking of races, and names, and other things to be really busy work as it took alot of time to think of such things and describe them so someone else would understand and envision what you pictured in your head while writing it. As he'd worked on it, and it wasn't' nearly done, his respect for writers went up and up, and it was understandable.

"You want to help make games...? What kind of games?"

"I could see why. Very different base languages that they grew from." Terry agreed with a small wince. He knew that English was also considered one of the harder languages to learn as a second language thanks to all of the idioms and the like mixed all with in confusing it.

"Well if you decide to do so then I'll back you up at least." He said with a supportive look. Granted he couldn't do much to actually back him up but sometimes it was good enough to know someone was in your corner.

Terry nodded with a half smile. "Sounds like fun genres to write, I know they tend to be a lot of fun to read." He said as he lead them in a turn so they wouldn't hit the rink wall. "Many different kinds of games. Adventure, instructive, action, romance, it doesn't matter to me honestly so long as the story is good behind it."

"Yes, Japanese was easy." He was fairly certain he could teach either language as well, they weren't too hard in his opinion. English was not easy at all, he envied those who learned it especially those who picked up on it quickly. He was doing better than he had in September though, so he could see the progress and it helped lighten his mood about the topic.

"Thank you, it makes me happy to know." To have someone backing him up and supporting what he wanted to do. He knew his sister and cousin did but both were younger than himself. He had his parents...expectations to live up to and that was hard, he'd made the university they'd wanted.

"You like it all...well rounded." He said nodding his head as the other guided him across the ice and into the turn. "No favorite? Do you play games also?" His own country was big on it, to the point of making laws about gaming and such...not to mention people making a career out of playing games.

"Feel free to ask if you need help when I'm on hand." Terry offered up. He wouldn't mind answering any questions Seung might have if he was confused on something.

He gave him another half smile and a nod. "You're welcome. If you do end up chasing your dream then maybe one day I'll be able to read something of yours." That idea was something he would be happy to do if given the chance.

"Yes, I like to think there is no bad genre, not when it comes to programming." He said with a chuckle. Sure some would be more detailed or complicated then others, but each type of game would still boil down to the same start in programming. He then gave a hum in confirmation as his next question. "Yes I play them. My favorite to play are rpg games to be honest. Do you play?"

"I can teach you...if you want as well." In return for any help the other might render him, or if the other simply wanted to learn. He would, even if the other never asked to learn what he could teach, he would keep in mind the others offer and go to him if he needed it. All the help was welcome and accepted by him, had been since he came here.

"Free first copy for you." As he wasn't going to let the friendship go now that he was considering the other as such. They were also allies at this point and he didn't get the impression this war would end any time soon. So if he ever got to writing it would be while also fighting this war - lovely. Maybe he'd include, and bend, certain experiences in order to fit them into a story or two? It could work; it really could. Even if he didn't go to university for literature he could still write and be published, it did happen, so no matter what he went for he'd still chase the dream, something he hadn't considered really before hand. It had been one or the other for him till now really, with the only exception being the book he was working on in memory of his friend.

"No...never. Never had time - school all day and night." And then homework and self studying, which he'd had to do a lot. He didn't go to a hagwon so he'd had to self study even harder just to keep up. It had landed him with iv drips during exam times especially the final exams to graduate. But it had paid off and he could set his own limits and determine when he'd done enough, so he could go out and rest his eyes and his mind. But with laws on gaming, due the problem it was, he hadn't ever played and he'd always been so busy. The free time he had here was new to him and the idea of having a job while still being in school - all new to him.

"Sure. Who knows, it might be helpful to us both if we teach each other. Might pick up the languages better." It would be nice to learn another language, not to mention possibly helpful at some point in life.

"I look forward to it then." Terry said with a smile and lead them in another turn in the rink. He wasn't used to people wiggling their way into his life this easily but then again he had given the other practically a free pass when they first met. Either way, he planned on keeping Seung as a friend for a long time as well.

"Ouch. Well maybe you should come to my house some time and I can show you some then." To him, it sounded like the other Knight needed some down time after what was most likely years of hard work and study.

Sleet Tempest Snape

"Which would you want to learn?" Since he did speak two fluently, one being the language he was born into and the other one he'd learned growing up. He could teach either one, he was sure of it, and was more than willing to. Some people, of course, would have a preference to which they'd want to learn. Either due to personal likes in the sound of it, use, and their thoughts on the language or the culture.

As they came into another turn and the other made the offer of games he nodded. "I would like that, sometime soon then? Friday and Saturday nights are off for me." No work and no school the next day. He would study, or do other things, but he could change that up if he wanted to. He studied, a lot, but no where near other people like his younger cousin. She'd gone to a hagwon and still would go if she could, they had one in Korea town actually, but she had yet to really ask his parents about it and not because they were expensive. He wondered if she just wasn't ready to face one again, they were intense, or if it was because she had been swept up in having a social life as well; he knew she had friends in school she liked to spend time with.

On the other hand his sister was asking to go next year, in September, so she could get ahead in things especially her English and other skills. She wanted to get ahead of those who would be in high school with her as class mates, his sister wanted to get competitive it seemed. His parents seemed to be considering it, and he would support it, he'd have to give her some downtime by dragging her out of the house when she was too stressed and he was ok with that.

Which one was a good question. Both Korean and Japanese would be fun to learn so it was really a toss up on which one. He gave a thoughtful hum then gave a shrug. "I think Korean, since it's your first language."

"Sounds good to me, I don't have classes to worry about on those days either." Terry said with a smile. "How about you come over next Friday and we can spend the day trying out different games?" He offered up. If the other did come over on Friday then he could always stay the night if they ended up playing games late into the night which could easily happen.
