It had been a routine patrol with Caledonite. Galaxite liked quiet, routine patrols with Caledonite. Mostly because he liked being around Caledonite and much preferred it to not be interrupted.

But the communicator call got his attention, and Galaxite tugged gently at Caledonite's vest. "We should go," he said, and he was already starting off in the direction of the tea shop, "Laurelite is calling and we can't disappoint her, that would be terrible." Clearly. He wanted so badly to prove he was good enough - ready enough to be a good soldier, even if he had fallen into it by whole and complete accident.

"And I don't want to go alone."

[Mistress Morbid]

--------------------------------------------------------------------

Houshi liked that her learning curve, so far, came with someone to teach her. Time and energy for patrols were sometimes hard to come by, but she did so like making time for Metis, and for learning about this strange new world she had been dumped into.

She twirled her little ame-ame bozu around her finger, when they stopped, but she could...well, there was no not feeling what Metis was describing.

"Stay away from the big aura - got it," she said, because she had no desire to wade into a fight she couldn't win. A small swallow, a nod.

"I'm not going anywhere." She needed to be with Metis, to stick by her side, because getting separated sounded like the single worst idea possible.

Aokigahara had not intended to stop for tea on his patrol, though he sometimes seriously considered it. It seemed like an ideal way to calm his nerves.

What he felt when he approached the East India Tea House was not, in any sense of the word, calming. There was already a massive chaotic mess of auras, but two - two stood out. One chokingly dark, suffocating everything around it; the other a bright spark of light. A senshi and -- sometihng Negaverse, but so much more powerful than he could even have imagined.

"What," he murmured under his breath, and he found himself moving, inexorably, closer, gripping his lantern strings tighter.

He slipped in, heart already racing but face carefully schooled, unable to pick uot any single aura in the mess of them but able to see plenty of people. And there was one person he knew, hugging the edges of the beginning fight, and he took a few steps over to Scholomance.

"Do you have any idea what is happening, here?" He asked, but he was unwrapping his lantern strings from around his hand, because if he had to, he would use it as a ligature. He didn't want to, but in a mess like this, better to be prepared.

"Ahh, well you've been announced. Do see yourself out." His tone was mocking as he made a shooing motion with one hand in an almost bored fashion. The other hand still gripped the weapon at his side tightly. It was with a slow deliberate ease that he brought his weapon up and into his other hand as well, so that two gloved hands held the long spear.

"A pretender of a knight? I'm afraid you are mistaken. I don't pretend to be anything. I am what I am - a General of the Negaverse. An officer of chaos." Though chaos wasn't truly chaos, not as it should be. It should be black and white, good and bad, pure and evil. It was just one thing and he knew it. It was wrong and he knew it was wrong, it wasn't as it should be. Not by definition at least. "But to answer your question - no. I know my history lesson well and while you see it as you do, from the place of someone who thinks themselves above others, I see it differently. The facts remain the same but the view...well not so much." He said with a shrugging of his shoulders. Tilting his head a bit he let his lips curl into something of a smile, something lacking in joy or other positive emotions. "But enough of the chit chat, I doubt you're here for such." Gesturing around them, ignoring the others next sentence- how utterly pompous this one...how cute.

On his knees? This one really did have an ego! Oh, how he wanted to comment but instead what bubbled forth was laughter. Laughter that was cut short thanks to the others use of magic. Cursing he ducked, as if it would help any. Narrowing his eyes as he glared at the royal he straightened himself, he would not show a sign of weakness, he would stand straight and tall. Teleporting from his spot to behind the royal he brought his own weapon into play. Taking a swing at those ridiculous wings. "Time to deal with these things. So unnecessary." Tsking at the end of his sentence his blade already slicing through the air by the time the words began to pass his lips.

Even as he attacked the hail pelted him, striking him and likely condemning him to bruises after this battle ended. He knew he was out classed, the others signature surpassing his own, but he would not permit the royal from becoming an opponent to another, someone lower in rank, he would keep the royals attention. Let the General Queen do her thing and the others fight around them. Let the shop catch fire and burn for all he cared right now, he would keep his focus here, though he really didn't want the shop to have any lasting damage happen to it...he didn't think the General Queen would like it as the funds to purchase the place had been from the Negaverse's coffers.

Delphi had been out on a patrol, nothing she planned on doing late tonight, it was Christmas eve and she had to go to her parents home early tomorrow. So she had been planning on going to the tea shop once she powered down in order to get something hot to drink on her walk home, they had some really good tea. The ability to custom blend your own tea was also very nice, appreciated by her, as she enjoyed making her own blend of tea.

Deciding to call an end to her night she headed that way, still powered up, when she felt it and it brought her to a stop. At first it was just chaos auras and than there was a call - an emergency call. Than a massive chaos aura followed by an equally large order aura soon after and than more order. What the hell was going on?!

Stomping a heel on the roof top she headed toward the energy signals she felt. heels hitting the ground as she brought herself closer to the signatures and the tea shop. The message was ignored as it didn't matter where she was needed - the auras would lead her to the location.

When she landed on the ground two shops away she made her way toward the tea shop and sighed, lovely. The place was nice and now it would be out of business - perfect.

Staring at what was going on, at the utter chaos, she held onto her scepter and wondered what to even do. it was just a mess of people both order and chaos and what was she to do? She wanted direction here - order.

[SENSHI - Methone - Eternal of Aurora Borealis]

Methone was accustomed to the feelings of royals. After witnessing Laurels corruption of Plou, and seeing Castor in his prince form, she had witnessed and dealt with the deep sinking feelings of Chaos...and the bright light of the royal aura. Her attention diverted from her path around the city, drawing her into a massive battle with senshi and negaverse.

Tug a war, it looked like. Between a senshi and Laurels. Her attention drew away from the girl, to the royal with his wings spread and his hands out. She darted across buildings until she was next to the royal prince and looking over with a whistle.

"I didn't realize that hail was so bad a**." She joked with him. "Plan?"

[Guardian - Lace - Corrupt Cat]

Lace had been darting through the battlefield, drawn by the sense of a senshi, one that was calling to her but trying so hard to avoid attacks and feet and-

"Seraphanite!" The small kitten skittered over the the negaverse lieutenant and crawled up his leg, quickly working her way into his jacket to keep herself safe. "The senshi! I need to get to them!"

[Nega] Lt. Seraphinite // Approaching via the front

The tiny dart of black moving across the pavement to him almost went unnoticed, if it wasn't for the equally tiny voice and puffy white around Lace's neck. The lieutenant paused, bending down a little to help the kitten in her climbing quest, and snorting a bit as he worked a few buttons free on his jacket so she could hide.

To be fair. He never considered himself much of a cat person. Yet there he was, keeping an arm under where her body was against his torso, buttoning up the jacket a little to make sure the guardian stayed in place while he moved. Just not enough to keep her from jumping out if she wanted.

"There's a hell of a lot of senshi here, Lace," he huffed, scowling a bit as he looked around the growing number of Order and Chaos senshi alike. "Got one in particular you want? Or a direction?" If she really had to get into that mess... fine, he'd do what he could to make sure the tiny guardian at least got through safe (-ish... hey he'd do his best). But when some of the senshi were on par with the General Queen and Generals uh...

She had to be a tad more specific with her goals.

[S. Senshi] Sailor Metis // Rooftop beside the Tea House's

She guessed, in a way, this was a sort of... crash course? Ok, she winced just thinking about that. But those were becoming more common, she suspected, for the newer and newer... recruits into this war. Crash courses, fight or flight situations.

Someone had sent a message for help though. Metis couldn't just... ignore that. Though she couldn't exactly tell where the distress signal had come from. "Someone down there called for help. Tell me if you see something that might lead us to them... I'm not sure if someone in this mess needs to be guided out."

Taking a small breath to steady herself, she moved along the rooftops, trying to get a peek over the edge to see if she could identify solo silhouettes. Perhaps see if she could... recognize any? Long shot, but worth a try she figured.

Copper auras bounced every which way. On one hand, that made her vision incredibly detailed when it came to the inanimate objects. Not so much the silhouettes as they overlapped, moved around each other... depth perception was sort of a b***h in this vision if she wasn't really giving herself time to figure out what was what.

But...

The waves outlined the inanimate weapon of one General (Labyrinthine). Her skin prickled, her eyes went wide as recognition settled into place. Recognition from... dreams. From descriptions given to her by Iris and *********. And... those dreams. Visions of a future she never hoped to have.

Reaching out for Hoshi's hand, she tried to lead the Page out of the General's path. "Come on, this way..."

Prince Castor (Royal Form)- Alley/Backdoor- Rooftop of opposing Building

Wounds burned like fire, yet after you'd been cut enough times, bled enough times, broken enough bones, felt flesh ripped from you, the burning stopped. The fire stopped. All that remained was a dull ache of knowing that you had a wound. That the cold feeling of wetness was blood chilling on your skin, and that eventually, the pain would come in a crashing wave that would sicken you, and leave you wanting to wretch.

The ripple that spoke of teleportation was the exact reason Castor had been talking. Stalling for time, as the biggest advantage the negaverse had would be in their ability to vanish without a moment's notice. They, the senshi, would only have a sliver of an opportunity to attack the ever evasive General king or queen that was inside for they'd retreat, and luring them back out would be nigh impossible.

Still, he felt the blade catch part of a wing; blood- hot and angry red- flashing out of the corner of his vision before he knew just to the extent of the damage. Still, he let the facade carry on, let his pain lace the venom of his words as he pushed back with the injured limb, knowing that he'd have to shift down than back up to force it to right itself.
"You should not talk to your betters. The only one who may talk for your order-" He ducked downward kick low to the ground, wings sweeping out and casting a halo of blood around him.
"Is Metalia." His mind flicked to one other who'd he talk to. "Or her puppet, the lovely Alkaid."

With the arrival of more senshi, and ones he knew, he could feel their chances of any success growing. It would just be a minor one if anything.
"The game is cat and mouse Methone." He said, keeping his focus on the one who seemed to be 'in change' under the general king or queen.
"Sadly, we're the mice. Just keep the cats occupied for now."

The hail continued and there were tears and scratches along his uniform and skin but his cloak had taken the brunt of it all and Labyrinthite was left unscathed, for the most part. He had done his visual sweep, deliberation locking him into place for only so long before he'd come to a decision.

Castor would be his target, Scholomance could wait. The royal needed to be dealt with first, he was the true threat.

But when he turned, to exit again he caught glimpse of a familiar fuku and a different kind of anger flared through him.

Metis.

He remembered her from the future that may not come to pass, she was one of Iris's.

Asteroid, he thought bitterly, jaw clenching when he decided to change his direction again. Iris had been avoiding him, again, and with everything he had to deal with in the last month-- well, he had misdirected rage to deal with and it appeared that Metis would be the recipient of it all.

He concentrated on the space he'd seen her, mental image of the teahouse coming to mind when he inhaled sharply and teleported, eager to miss the rest of the storm Castor had cast. When he appeared before the senshi and her page a sinster grin was spread across his face. "My, my Metis. It's been some time hasn't it?" He cooed, focusing on her even as his ears strained to hear what Castor was saying.

Or her puppet, the lovely Alkaid.

The mention of the ascendent-general made him turn his head sharply, fingers flexing around his weapon as he struggled to refrain himself. His control over himself had been slipping slowly, as he dealt with confusion and conflict that warred within him. He exhaled slowly, Castor could wait. He wanted to deal with Metis.

"Tell me, have you seen Iris lately? Has she warned you against me?" He cocked his head, gripping his scythe tightly as he pulled it off the ground. "Do you fear death Metis, does your friend?" His eyes flicked over to the page.

The blood, knowing he'd managed to hit the other, brought a thrill to the blond. He liked a good fight, had for some time now, and while his opinions were vastly different than they once had been this senshi...this one deserved whatever the General could bring down upon him. This one was not kind like Polaris was. This one wasn't as easy to talk to as Valhalla or the former General Wolframite. This wasn't even Ganymede who disliked him, but wasn't so arrogant or hostile. No, this senshi was arrogant and he wanted to take him down a peg if at all possible.

"My betters? How amusing to hear you speak of who is better than me - one you don't know." The words were passing his lips even as the other was speaking, as the other was ducking downward and kicking low, at him. When he wound up on the ground the General still had his weapon in hand and thus swung it from his place on the ground before rolling backward and up onto his feet again with the weapons blade pointed in the direction of the royal.

At least he had Metalia correct and while he knew the name Alkaid he had never met her. Why was she able to speak whilst he was not? At least according to this winged senshi? never mind that, it didn't matter really. The other was obviously trying to get a rise out of him, and his words to the other were just proof of this fact. Though if the royal could play at that game...he could take a shot at it also, it wasn't a hard game to play after all.

"And who might speak for your order? Your order, comprised of a bunch of bickering children with magic. You have no leaders and so you fail - time and again. And speaking of children...." He said trialing off, letting his words hang in the cold night air.

Kent wasn't even supposed to be in Destiny City on Christmas Eve. He was supposed to have left the previous afternoon, off to visit his parents for the holidays. And he would have, if he hadn't gotten an urgent- desperate, really- call from the office, about a virus that had gotten into the server. Everything was down, and if he didn't get there to fix things, lots of people wouldn't have a Christmas.

That was probably overstating the case, Kent knew, but he could tell it was important. That, and the fact that they were offering him overtime pay, meant he couldn't really say no. He called his parents and told them he'd drive up as soon as he finished taking care of things, and got to work, spending almost two full days straightening out the problem.

"Charon's Canoodle," he muttered to himself, driving home on what he hoped would be a relatively quiet route. He needed quiet, after the past couple of days. "Hackers sure have some crazy sense of humor. Where do they come up with this stuff?"

He slowed down as he passed by a tea shop, eyeing the people who were starting to gather there. People in crazy costumes. Something weird was going on. "So what else is new?" he asked himself, driving past the scene and looking for a place to park.

Even before he got out of the car, he found he was Nazca, book in hand. He had no idea what he was expecting to do, charging into an unknown situation that was quite possibly dangerous, but he knew he couldn't leave it alone. He'd ignored instructions for too long now. If there was even the slightest chance that he could be of help to anyone there, he had to take it.

[Nazca's heading to the front of the shop, looking rather clueless. Please quote me if you engage him!]

Aaru Page of Saturn // Entering alleyway

He was quite proud of himself really becuase not only did he manage to answer to a call that was apparently at some tea shop that the negaverse was doing something shady in [when where they NOT doing something shady?], so he could do battle for once, BUT he wasnt smoking a cigarette! That had to be some sort of progress rightttt? Well even if it wasnt, he was still going to count it as a victory. Aaru jumped from roof top to roof top till he spotted the teahouse that was comming up quickly in the distance. A familiar power signature hit him and he grinned, leaping up as high as he could from the last roof top, summoning his skull candle just as he landed riiiiight beside Erebus in the alley he was currently in.

and <********> If it wasn't cold...

Who the hell did they have to thank for causing hail? Aaru took in the various power signatures around him, noting a lot that he didnt reconize, but really feeling the power signature of the royal senshi and the general.

Well...

Oh...Another Saturn knight besides Erebus? Intresting...

------------------------------------------------

Mu Arae Senshi of Brutality // Entering via Rooftop

Mu Aare was in the middle of apartment searching when she got the call.

"What?...."

Looks like apartment hunting would have to wait a bit.

Throwing her phone back into her purse, she quickly fond an alley where she could henshin up and head out towards the right tea house since there are a small handful in the city. "Way to not be so specific...." She growled, hopping from roof top to roof top towards the power signatures she was starting to feel. She took note of the many people already starting to gather and choose to land on the roof of a building right beside the teahouse, finding it quite hard to miss the maleviolent figure infront of a senshi that was leading a page away.

Well, she was here to help, and clearly that figure was a general...

Mu Arae was already backing up with the other two, keeping her mouth shut to avoid provoking or starting any beef [not that there was a way you couldnt start beef with a nega], sending what she could only hope was a reassuring look towards the others. She was here to help and she would try her best.

[Nega] Lt. Prehnite

Prehnite hissed as the hail seemed to begin dying down. He could already feel the bruises forming, still, he figured he'd fared a bit better than the dumpster he'd tried hiding behind, that hail was nasty stuff, cold and nasty..Just like the arrogant little prince of a senshi that had cast it.

Prehnite didn't dare intervene, not even to speak, but he did watch. It was awe inspiring, seeing two great powers clash like titans. Prehnite could only wonder; if the General Queen was here..Then what she doing, what was best for her agents to do in this moment? Prehnite hadn't really been privy to the inner workings of the Tea Shop scheme prior to returning to the city

He supposed they'd just have to keep the agents of order at bay until she was finished. Prehnite wished for a moment to be a fly on the wall inside the tea shop. Seeing the unseen unfold.

He felt his place was better outside however, especially with the growing number of Senshi and Knights approaching. They had to use their numbers while they could. Quickly. His gaze fixed on figures entering the alleyway. A pair of Saturn Knights. Truly only one Knight and a Page. Prehnite continued to feel outclassed in this night before Christmas skirmish. He knew he would be better suited to take on the skull candle holding page alone; than the oar wielding knight any day. That he was insane to consider challenging the pair of them.

"I think I'm seeing double, two Saturn's? One is more than enough. Which means..the other needs to go. It'd be my pleasure to assist you in leaving." Prehnite smirked as he approached the pair, leveling his trowel at the page as he spoke. He had the feeling he'd be calling for backup very soon. Shouting to the rooftops even. Still, if his goal was to only keep them busy long enough, that the General Queen could finish what she was doing and go..The goal of being distracting didn't necessarily lead to him ending up in the hospital at the end of all this.

Page Erebus of Saturn

Erebus was just getting his baring from his jump down into the alleyway and getting used to the hail falling down when he was joined by Aaru. He nodded in short greeting to the other Saturn Knight then turn his attention back to the chaos around them. It seemed like there was quite a bit of talking and posturing so far with little actual attacking beyond who ever had caused the hail. How ever it also looked like that was going to be quickly changing very soon.

He gripped his oar tighter as the Negaverse with a trowel was headed straight for them. He shifted so he was in a better position to defend, his oar now held more in front of himself. "I think you will find that rather hard to do and instead we will be the ones assisting your leaving seeing how you are outnumbered here." He said back, not particularly the best at banter but not willing stay silent.

How come no one else seemed to mind being pelted with hail? Makemake could feel tears welling in the corner of her eyes from the sting the now receding hail had left in it's wake. An angry pout formed on her lips and the verge of a tantrum brewing with each person that arrived and didn't take pitty on the 'poor little girl' like they did when... When she was a Chibi Senshi. Was this what growing up was like? Fading in to the anonymity of maturity...

Unfortunately, Makemake was far from mature - more little girl still than a lady - and she didn't have the clarity or maturity of thought to understand that she was the hero, and there was no one who was going to come to her rescue. She was starting to see, however, that to be a part of order was to stand alone. She caught the end of Benitoite's words to the winged royal. Was....was he talking about her?

Makemake, still holding her bruised forearm straightened up, eyes widening a bit as he attention was caught. Someone finally noticed her! Chaos..chaos had noticed her.

Useless patrols, or maybe more like an excuse to use the slight boost in Senshi speed, had really been the only thing Melody had managed lately. Anything beyond that related to Senshi business was years behind her. So when her phone went off in a most horrendously surprising noise as she sat on her bed toweling out her long hair, the blonde nearly fell from her bed.

It was almost like when her friend's phone would sometimes go off for amber alerts!

Immediately her hands moved to fumble for the phone and find out why it made the noise it did. For an instant her heart stopped at the message sent out and suddenly she was back in the park where the aliens were massacred while she was helpless to watch.

Before she knew what she was doing, Melody grabbed her pen and was moving for her balcony. Who cared if she'd just returned and showered from a patrol, this was devastatingly important. Jumping from the balcony she transformed mid-jump and when pink flats hit the grass she moved at a dead run.

Of course, having not been to this particular tea shop before, it took her some time to find it. Or at least lock on to the auras emanating from the correct area. The stronger of the powers were frightening and she had to fight the urge to turn back. She couldn't risk another blood bath and she definitely wouldn't let herself sit back and allow it to happen.

There were quite the number of senshi gathered when she skid into the alleyway, brown eyes glancing around to take note of all who were there. Not many that she really knew? The very powerful senshi signature belonged to someone she thought she recognized, but it was hard to tell because of several years of absence.

Whatever was going down wasn't good and she hesitated on where exactly to put herself.

[nega] Lt. Empressite

Perhaps being anonymous was a fairly good thing. Blue grey eyes scanned the, for lack of a better word, chaos, surrounding her. Knights and senshi who seemed to have some sort of connection, good or bad targeting each other, leaving her to stand on the sidelines, which was perfectly fine with her, at least in her own mind. She wasn't about to mindlessly throw herself into the fray – not again – by tackling opponents who were so much stronger than she herself. So she was taking her time, looking around and gathering what intel she could. But she did want to do something.

She noticed the young looking senshi who seemed nearly as lost as she herself was feeling. Perhaps she might take pity on the poor dear, and try to get her out of the worst of the fray. At least it would get her, and the young one out of the worst of the hail...

Gritting her teeth, Empressite forced herself to ignore the pellets raining down around her, opening small wounds wherever they hit, and moved into to the fracas. She wasn't going to engage, unless someone targeted her first. She had found a goal, self-imposed, but still a goal, and she would do whatever it took to accomplish said goal. Luckily, everyone seemed so focused on what they were doing and who they were fighting, so she could remain unnoticed.

She made it relatively unscathed to an area near the young senshi. 'You look a little bit lost. How about we get out of this terrible weather, hmm?'
