Ah! A new target appears! Cesc and Shep will have to wait their turn to be hit by a snowball, as poor Ronan was the next to be hit. Not a good hit, as it burst apart into powdery snow as it his his leg, but hey, it was something.

(( OOC: As a note, Gabe did not voluntarily sign up -- Ethiriel signed him up without his knowledge. This makes him both a player and a bystander, apologies as he will probably not stick around through the duration of the game LMAO ))
When Gabe parked, there hadn't seemed to be a lot of people in the cabin -- at least from a glance. There were some but not one in particular he had to find, a certain silvery frei. With his hands tucked into a dull navy jacket sporting a grey fur-lined collar, he stepped carefully through the snow around the building to see if Ethiriel was among the bouts of laughter outside. He stepped out from around the corner, expecting maybe a large bonfire or something else equally showy as the rest of this gathering was.
Instead, Gabe found himself a sitting duck -- unprepared and undefended.

Ethiriel hadn't yet seen that Gabe had turned the corner, originally her attention on Lazarus as she tossed her last snowball. However, as she turned to make another, she glanced up to see the younger of the Knight brothers turning the corner.
A mischievous smile grew on her face and before she could get a word out, she tossed a snowball right at Gabe. It was harder than she intended, and she honestly thought she wouldn't at all, but it hit him right square in the chest. "Gabe, you're here!" she cheered, giving a wave. Rather than drifting her attention, it remained on the Knight brother.

He certainly hadn't been expecting that. It wasn't thrown hard enough to hurt at all but the contact was solid and Gabe recoiled some, taking one arm out at his side to keep himself steady on the uneven snow. He looked down at some of the snow still clinging to his chest, then up at Ethiriel while wiping some off his shirt.
"I'm here," he repeated with no amount of fanfare; a stark contrast to Ethiriel's cheering. "Nice 'hello', by the way."

Ethiriel's smile turned sympathetic at Gabe's chiding remark, but it remained all the same. "You're on the other team! Hello, by the way!"
As she turned with another wad of snow in hand, the silver Frei aimed for Amity, who she had not met yet, and instead hit Mordekai in the back. With a laugh, Ethiriel gave an apology.

His brows knit at Ethiriel's announcement of his team placement, a team and event he hadn't been even the slightest bit aware of or asked about before hand. Gabe watched her throw some friendly fire before shaking his head.
"I'm not here to play. I'm here to drive." After a few seconds more of surveying the area and everyone else pelting each other with snowballs the realization dawned that this wasn't a free for all, it was literally an organized snowball fight. "Did you volunteer me?"

Mordekai laughed and staggered clumsily forward while getting hit by more snowballs, and he bent forward to pick up more snow - "Little snow never hurt anyone, right, Eth?" With that, he looked around for someone who'd been getting a little less attention - but ended up hitting Eth instead.
"Ah s**t-- sorry!" he burst into another peal of laughter.

He took another stab at throwing a snowball at Ian - but second time was not the charm, and the snowball landed on one Gabe instead.

And, of course, another to Nell, because what was a snowball fight if not giving strangers a hard time? When the snowball hit her, he cupped his hands to shout toward her - "Sorry, not sorry!"

The smile on Ethiriel's face faltered, staring at Gabe pleadingly. "I-I thought it'd be fun--"
Before she could finish, Mordekai accidentally returned fire and hit her instead of his intended target. Immediately she let out another laugh and turned back to the playing field -- if Gabe was really mad, they would talk about it later once they had the chance, surely.
This time, Ethiriel followed Mordekai's lead and just barely hit Ian.

"Of course it's fun!" yelled Shep in agreement with Eth, but his footing slipped as he went forward to hurl a snowball and the throw went wildly out of control, careening off the general area of play and managing to smack poor Dr. Kyou instead.
"OH s**t," Shepard managed with a laugh. "Mate, I'm sorry!"

"What was that?!" laughed Cesc, bending and collecting some snow, in his haste to toss them, not bothering to really pack the snow well. "Don't worry, Eth's guy, Dr. Kyou--I'll get some vengeance for you!"
He heaved the collection of snow in Eth's and Shep's, basically raining the snow upon them.

With the sudden commotion, Ethiriel hadn't noticed Cesc's gathering of snow before it hit herself and Shep in a flurry. She let out a high pitched laugh, covering her head as it lightly pummeled the two of them. "Rhede!" she laughed, reaching down and picking up a ball of slush. Throwing it straight at his chest, it burst into a pitiful display of snowy chunks.
