Jerami was unable to help but to give a little laugh as Arron described their adventure as being 'a good days work', something that was funny to him since the 'good days work' had consisted of them searching for frogs, finding and wrestling a nondwa, and getting coated in moth dust. Not a bad day, but definitely an interesting one in Jerami's mind. Here was to hoping that they got to go on more adventures in the future. If they were lucky the adventures would be ones that didn't leave them dirty or dusty... but then again that might not be seen as a 'real' adventure, huh?
As Arron declared that he was going home before people started looking for him Jerami said, "It was nice to meet you, Arron." A hug for each of the other three boys later and Arrron was hurrying for home. Jerami watched him go, giving him a little wave, before turning to the others, "Huh? Oh, not too much. The nondwa isn't as scary as some things." Definitely not as scary as the maglardilla that he'd been chased by before in the past and leagues away from being as scary as a wild radaku would be.
Staying next to the other boys Jerami meant to accompany them to the village and he'd see about splitting up from them and heading home. As Arron suggested it would be best to get home before his mothers came looking for him. He didn't want to worry anyone after all.*****
Lixes watched Arron head out, giving him a wave before calling out, "Let's go adventuring again soon, Arron! It was fun!" He was all for more adventures and exploring, though just not today. One life or death situation per day was his quota. Here was to hoping that his parents didn't find out what had happened or they were sure to have his hide for what he'd done. Turning to his brother he said, "No telling our dads about me nearly getting carried off by the nondwa, alright? We won't be able to adventure again if they find out."
With that he turned to look at the nondwa, helping to pick it up, before he said, "Alright Drexl, Jerami, let's get back before anyone notices that we wandered off as far as we did." Once they got home and saw to it that the nondwa was settled in he would start planning their next adventure.
