"No I- Hey! You alright?" The coughing startled the man and a hand went out to Nellie's shoulder. A genuine concern twisting tanned features as fingers curled around slender shoulder. They needed to get back no more time for breaks, "if so lets keep moving." His tone was a touch less harsh than normal but for a reason he wouldn't know why, mostly considering he had noticed he was using it...

"Y-Yeah..."

Nellie nodded a few times, taking a deep breath and slowly exhaling as she turned to look at Cain with a smile to try to reassure him that all was well with her.

"Just a little... thirsty. But it can wait till Nellie and Cain get back to Deus."

It obviously wasn't safe here and they really shouldn't linger any longer than necessary now that they had gotten what they came for. Once they were back on the island, they could take their time to figure out the mirror shard proper.

Cain nodded then moved through the portal with Nellie. Back over to the side of Cain would make a point of taking Nellie to the infirmary just in case. Telling himself it was just to inspect the shard she had managed to snag.
