The shriek was a bit of a surprise, and Rhys had to whallop some guy who tried to take advantage of a surprised Jason.

Good to know they were all managing alright. He stayed at Jason's back and tried to make sure to keep the guy covered. So far so good...sort of.

Rhys stuck to defending Jason as he whacked more people down.
He was hoping the crowd was thinning out now, otherwise it was very possible that they were screwed.

He wasn't overly optimistic, but the numbers were going down. A quick glance around really made it look like a madman had just gone through here with a machete, but hey...
Whatever worked.
He kept working the defense, a bit of hope renewed.

Rhys was chanting in his head too, certain obscenities at the various bodies that were all trying to kill them.
"Go, Jason, go!" might have been mixed in there every so often, though.

They seemed to be stuck at a slow crawl and Scout decided to take a chance. She'd had her sights focus on a small radius around Jason, but slowly switched over to some of the zombies closer to her. Maybe if she took them out before they got to him Jason would have an easier time?

A few of them rushed Jason at once, pushing him back with both knives and daggers, leaving his coat in tatters and his FEAR shield in pieces. Grimacing, the moon used the charge Zanth had build up to repair some of the damage to his shield. HP: 9 + 16 = 25 Healing Jason for 16 Attack: The Chill Boss HP: 21
