Back to this outblock. Wow, she sure was getting a workout today with all this scurrying around. Which was good, because in her preperations for the party she hadn't had time to do her usual fitness regime, and whilst walking and talking wasn't you know, particularly strenous, it was more demanding than what she had originally assumed the evening would be - sitting and dining. Aconan spared a moment to regret the loss of food, however. I mean, judging off the quality of the starters, the food would be high-quality and delicious. DELICIOUS. Her stomach grumbled slightly at the thought, and Loupsus gave small noise which Aconan suspected was a laugh. So it'd been not long since she had eaten - so what, she was a growing girl! She had muscles to obtain, you know?
Muscles for handling weapons. One day! This line of thought led Aconan to check the armory first. Success, she crowed internally. Her target troll was here! Unable to contain herself, Aconan beamed as she approached, only for that expression to fade into wary concern as she realised Awassi wasn't....well, they weren't the shining paragon of togetherness they were earlier this evening. Aconan dithered for a second about asking before deciding to go for it.
"Are you okay, Madam?"
After recieving the (hopefully positive) answer, Aconan asked the question she had come here to ask.
"...Do you know anything about Gerard?"

Ҕᾁʐɱᾁʂ Ҏӫςɧῒɱ xxxxEast Outgrowth || Armory After untangling himself from the uncomfortable conversation between himself, Kursha and the blue-blood - Azrael, Hazmas and his lusus made their way to the only outgrowth he hadn't visited - the east one. To him, it looked like the perfect hangout for the western-theme green blooded teenager he still didn't quite trust. Then again, it looked like a pretty fun place to the youngster as well. All the weapons to examine, parts to displace and rebuild, all the ideas that swirled around his head, not to mention the training block where new fighting techniques could be tested.
The whole place had Hazmas abuzz with excitement, and then he saw her - their greendblooded host, Awassi. The sight of her made him pause. She hadn't been seen since Epratt's death, and from her appearance, he'd say she was taking the entire turn of events pretty hard, as would probably be expected of anyone in her position. He frowned and was about to approach the green blooded adult he spotted another kid talking with her. It seemed she was a greenblood too.
'A regular green blood pow-wow,' the youngster thought and approached slowly, just catching what the younger greenblood had to say.
"Yeah," he said, building on her question, "is everything alright?"
He listened and waited politely while she answered the others question while another prodded his own. He didn't know she had ties to Comedi. Perhaps the juggalo had ties to this murder too? It would definitely fit into his earlier theory.
'Better get some more info before I decide on anything solid,' he thought and looked up at Erilyn. Assassin? Was she talking about Epratt's murder or... the possibility of an attempt on her too?
'Farther down the bounce-beast hole we go,' he mused and voiced his question.
"You mentioned Comedi just now," the youngster remarked, putting a thoughtful finger to his mask. "What do you know about him? I haven't met him yet, so I was just curious."

Almost on cue, the lights flick off all over the hive. A few seconds pass, and as you start to feel uncomfortable, they flick on again. Confused, you make your way to the central hivestem, however no new dramatic occurrence seems to have happened. In fact, Gerard Rutven's petulant wail is suspiciously silent all over the hive.
All trolls have gathered in the central hivestem. The fourth hour of the party has begun. Your first move out of the central hivestem this hour does not loose you an investigation.
It is (also) a new ooc day! All investigations have been reset to 3. Clues posted in the central hivestem will be pmed out shortly.
Some noted reminders: Please remember that you lose an investigation if you switch Outgrowths during a party hour! Please also remember that 100 words are required for EACH investigation that you do. Finally, please be aware of the players and NPCs when entering a room and be mindful of their presence when you RP! Not only is it good etiquette, there are certain mechanics that rely on being mindful of character interactions.

The east outgrowth has been updated for the fouth party hour. It seems that some things in the various areas around the outgrowth have changed, and some locations have been disturbed. Perhaps they merit a new inspection.

Clues from Hour 3
Kimbley Kitty
You get closer to the display case and take in its contents - a military troll uniform. [!]
As much as your sense of hygiene tells you not to, you rifle through the bin. [!]
The medicine chest has been unlocked. You open the lid and reach inside.[!]

Chiara Moteku xxxxxResponding Chiara fallowed her new friend as he went to the Eastern Outgrowth. When he started talking to the military adult, Chiara made a grimace. Her experience with adults in the military so far had been purely negative. They were either grumpy from having their spaceship crashed, upset about some sort of miss communication, or in general looking down on children as if they were not real troll. She crossed her arms as she watched Hazmas question the adult. Even listening to the responses sent her eyes rolling up at the ceiling. She wanted nothing to do with this full-of-herself military troll.
"Hey, Hazmas." Chiara said to the greenblood child. "Looks like you have this covered pretty well, im going to go ask the clown a few questions. He is just in the next room over. Meet up in a few minutes to exchange info?" She grinned at him, moving to the next room where the giant juggalo sat. Chiara sauntered up to him in her pretty black and blue ruffled dress, trying not to look too much like the child she was. "So..." The child started, pondering which questions to ask. "Seen anything... funny around?" She tipped back and forth on her the balls of her heels. This guy better get her something important.

Ҕᾁʐɱᾁʂ Ҏӫςɧῒɱ xxxxEast Outgrowth || Armory After a quick stop at the hivestem to right down what Erilyn had told him, Hazmas had made his way back to question her more, only to find that she'd moved on leaving a tense looking Schrad and Comedi in her place. He frowned and looked at his new companion.
"Well, looks like Erilyn didn't waste any time, did she?" he thought aloud, and paused, stroking his chin thoughtfully as he listened to Chiara. It seemed pretty odd that Comedi would be there right after Erilyn left. Was she avoiding him or perhaps he was looking for her and just missing her? Either way, it seemed a pretty unusual way to treat one's moiral.
"Hmmm. Probably a good idea," the greenblood agreed, "I'll see what else I can find out from Schrad."
He grinned back and waved slightly as she left into the next room. The youngster's smile broadened when he turned and began to examine the room around him. It was kind of funny how excited he felt being in the armory- like being a squeak-beast in a room full of the finest nesting materials imaginable! But as enthusiastic as he was, the youngster knew to bridle his passions before approaching another troll. After all, it had been the unbridling of his opinion that had landed him in hot water in the first place.
Allowing his smile to fade into a serious if not deadpan expression, Hazmas approached the redblood, pausing to examine a nearby gun case before addressing Schrad.
"Are you arming yourself, Sir?" he asked in a low tone, listening carefully to the military troll's response. He frowned and stared at the cases pensively. "Hmm. I suppose not. I guess that's just another reason to never go anywhere without a weapon - even the Queen's gala."
The youngster paused, carefully considering his next question. Erilyn had mentioned being Comedi's moiral. Perhaps Sir had a bit more information on that?
"Sir, I heard that Erilyn was Comedi's Moiral. What do you know about him?" He almost stared in surprise at her as she responded. Something about Comedi definitely struck a chord, and obviously not a good one. The fear in her response only strengthened his suspicion and concern regarding the Juggalo . Chiara was in there talking with him. Would she end up being party to whatever terrifying feat Comedi had performed that had made Schrad so briefly off-balanced?
"Mm. Thanks for your time Sir," the youngster said as she finished, and strode cautiously into the next room to see if Chiara had found out anything new with Comedi.

The lights flickered before Leeroi's eyes and he stopped short. He was starting to have a hard time believing that this place just had really faulty wiring. No, everything felt timed, calculated. This had to be the workings of the murderer, he was certain of it. Why else would anyone be playing with the lights? There were serious matters at hand, and if someone was playing a prank, they were probably scaring a lot of the snotty wrigglers here tonight. It was cowardly, regardless.
When the lights came back on, Leeroi had to take a moment to calm down before carrying on with his investigation. Someone was playing him for a fool, and he wasn't having any of it. He had to remind himself that the flickering lights were probably a distraction of their own, and that he needn't be preoccupied by them. That would be playing into the murderer's hand. Leeroi was too smart for that. He wasn't.
He made his way past Schrad, moving into the training block to continue his investigations there. To his surprise (and chagrin), he found Comedi atop the very object he was planning to investigate. Sparing the formalities, he approached the clown, tapping his pen on his notebook in agitation. At least he had finally tracked down the purpleblood, he thought. He had a number of questions to verify with him. "Deburu Comedi," Leeroi said, barely peeling his eyes from his notes. "What do you know about Schrad?" He asked, curious about the nature of their relationship. Schrad seemed to be tense discussing him, before.
"Do you know anything about Epratt, perhaps? Why someone would have killed him?" He phrased the question dryly. He didn't particularly care about the murderer's motive at all. A culling was a culling. He clicked his pen, writing down bits and pieces of the clown's knowledge. "And lastly, have you seen anyone acting strange?" Leeroi quickly glanced away, nearly laughing at the hilarity of the situation. Asking a clown if they had seen anything strange, what a joke.

Erilyn wasn't in the armory anymore! Why had everyone moved? At least this room didn't look like it had been all knocked over like the trophy block had been. Lorata poked her head back out of the room and scurried over to the door across the hall. Surely they were still in the same outgrowth, at least? But no, Erilyn wasn't in the training block either. She started to head back to try somewhere else, but at the last moment she realized there was someone she was looking for here!
"Ah, Mr. Comedi!" She hurried over towards the medical chest, making a bit of a face as she realized she wasn't the only one that had approached him. She'd left the only blueblood she liked in this place in the other outgrowth, so of course she'd run into the ones she didn't. Stepping neatly around Chiara and resolving to ignore her as much as possible, she glanced over the adult. Well, he hadn't been murdered, that was for sure.
"Are you alright? The trophy block was all..." She waved a hand, figuring he must have known something about the state it was in already since he'd been there last. He didn't look terribly well, despite his claims otherwise, and she wondered if that was more proof that he'd been involved in whatever had happened?

Questioned Comedi: How are you doing?

There was only one place Alifax hadn't visited, and while he knew there was an armory in here, he didn't know much else about the place. Maybe Kursha only used his eyes to aim, or something. Or maybe, more reasonably, he hadn't brought a notebook.
Well, whatever. He spent some time quickly scanning the armory. What was interesting here? A flickering light...some weapons. No bolas, at least visibly. That was interesting. He pulled himself closer to the light - did it just need to be changed? Had someone been interacting with it? He wasn't really sure what was going on, but someone had to be doing something strange. He wasn't really sure why Marian's supposed suspects were permitted to wander freely through the hive. Perhaps it wouldn't be a fair investigation if they weren't allowed to intercede in their own favor, Alifax thought. Or perhaps his first instinct was correct in the first place. Wait...there was a chest, over there. Alifax traveled over to examine its contents, if that might even be possible. That might be where the bolas were, right? Honestly it was strange to him that a weapon was present on Awassi's crest and yet completely missing in this room. It seemed to focus generally on blades and guns - a little more Kursha's or Epratt's style than anything else, yeah?
Maybe it had something to do with Comedi. But it was strange: the presence of all these weapons implied that Awassi was at least proficient in most of their uses, right? Alifax shook his head. You could never really tell, sometimes. He nodded a greeting at Schrad and tried to figure out where to head next, other than back to the central hivestem to report his layout-related findings.
Well, okay. That was probably enough of interest here. The Pechim greenblood and that - aggressive blueblood were hanging around, and Alifax winced as they headed into a separate room. It'd probably be a good idea to see that they didn't do anything suspicious, although...
Actually, he had no idea that the next room would be empty. It ended up not being - was that Comedi? He'd certainly had to travel a while to get here. Lorata was questioning him, along with the other two wigglers. He watched for a moment, before beginning a brisk walk around the perimeter of the room. What looked disturbed? There was a lidless bin of sparring gear there, and Alifax stepped over quickly to see what was going on. The lid had clearly been knocked off carelessly - surely there'd be something of interest to see here? He rifled through the gear as quietly as he could manage. When he was done he looked up at Lorata. Maybe they could exchange information here.
Well. Preferably away from the other children.

You take a look at the gun rack. All seems fine for a moment, but you notice something odd. [!]
thyPOPE
You inspect the chest. The lock appears to be askew! You take a look inside. [!]
You hop up on the balls of your feet to fix the lightbulb, and spot something down below. [!]
There are a great deal of practice weapons in here including light staves, practice swords and even non-lethal ranged weaponry for target practice. The bin looks to have been moved around - you take a closer look.[!]
After some moving and thinking about, evading anything small, white, and determined (whether it was her lusus or not) Psykgi found her way into the East outgrowth of the hive, a part of the hive that she admittedly didn't care much about. She wasn't much of a battle-and-armory troll, to be honest. She left that to other trolls...
Still, though, she lingered by the axes in the display case for a moment – they, at least, she could appreciate. It was, after all, her weapon of choice, though she rarely ever used it, and it was just the basic training weapon at this point...
Still... There was something nice about axes, something pleasant about the way her weapon settled in her hand, something reassuring about the weight of the blade at the end...
Speaking of blades, there was a certain very cool redblood. Now, if Shishi Schrad wasn't an example of what a troll, even a lowblood, could do when they were forged into the best they could be, then Psykgi didn't know who was! The party was nearing its end, she could tell and, if she survived it (which was never a certainty but that made it fun, after all) she would regret not at least saying 'hello' to such an illustrious and badass figure!
And Psykgi was never one for regrets.
She joined Shishi at the weapons displays, nodding appreciatively at the weapons, though they were not axes, and made a few comments about them, but found herself distinctly at a loss for anything to say – distinctly and uncharacteristically. What could she say to someone so wholly different from her, and so clearly determined not to chat too much? How could she keep the conversation going?
”So, Gerard...” she managed, it was awkward, especially for Psykgi, but she had always been one to just plug right through such things. ”I heard there was an interesting event before... something involving feelings and shouting. I was a little indisposed, and I wish I hadn't missed it, but if someone could fill me in...” she trailed off. This was going nowhere. ”Is this a recent thing for him? I'm curious, you know, because he seems... generally... flamboyant.”
Eventually, though, that conversation was clearly going nowhere and even Psykgi knew when she wasn't wanted... and even Psykgi could take a hint. So, she did.
Oh!
There was...
That was Leeroi!
”Lee!” she called out to him, ”Lee, I'm over here!” she went over to him, ”I'm so glad I found you! I admit, it was so dizzying in the crowd! Sorry I left you alone for so long!” she reached for him, ”Gosh, though, isn't this fun?” she said cheerily, only then noticing the purpleblood.
She frowned briefly. ”Oh gosh, are you all right?” she asked him, moving to get a better look at the very imposing, very powerful purpleblood. He was sitting on the medical chest, which was not the best place for someone who needed medical attention. It would, she felt, be a good idea to get into that medical chest, just in case things really did get bloody and terrible. ”I could take a look, you know. I'm a very good medic – just ask Lee!” she said, not believing his response. He was very definitely not all right, and as long as he wasn't, he wasn't going to give her access to the supplies... fortunately, she had her medkit somewhere on her person – It was just good policy to bring it around. But more supplies...
Well, maybe he didn't want that kind of help... ah well. ”Or not” she said, smiling. But she could, at least, distract him with a question. ”Could you tell me a little about Tigwyn? He's wearing such an interesting suit!” she said, standing by Leeroi... oh! He brought a notebook! How smart of him – she wished she'd brought one. But ah well, such was life!

The thing was - the training block was really in quite a state of disarray. Alifax wandered it with some dismay. The revealed tiled floor was of obvious interest but he wasn't sure that he'd gain much from observing it other than...well.
He brushed a hand lightly over it anyway, a slight frown on his face. "Are any of you aware of the identities of anyone previously in this room?" he asked. Someone had come through and seriously messed with...well, with everything, by the look of it. He'd have to check with Kursha or that blueblood to be completely sure, but he didn't think it'd started the evening in this state, or someone would've mentioned that it looked seriously mussed.
He moved over to the athletic mats that'd obviously been moved out of place by whoever'd decided they needed to have a fight or go searching in here. They also looked like they were in disarray, and he was careful to check underneath them as well. Just because it looked like there'd been a hasty exit...well, all he was saying was that someone might've thought to make it look that way to conceal something small. There was nothing that he could see.
A pair of children were chirping eagerly at Comedi, so Alifax made sure to avoid the area, for now. Well, he might wait here and see if he was willing to share any of his hard-won information with them. Though the blueblooded one looked familiar, and not in a good way. What was it about redbloods and bluebloods working in pairs at this event? There was him and Sarcel (if you counted their ablution block encounter as working in tandem), these two, and the group that'd been putting unattributed gossip on the wall.
He moved on to the other obvious source of debris. He gave the training dummies a quick patdown and then headed to figure out what'd happened in the area they'd been knocked from. This was interesting, at least...had there been a struggle? Or was someone trying to accrue practice? It might be a good idea to take one of those light staves from the sparring storage - at least he'd be armed, and he could work with those even if they weren't nearly as nice as something with a rope or a chain.

Chiara Moteku xxxxxResponding Chiara turned as she saw Hazmas enter the room. "Thank glob you got here. This guy is killing me. Do juggalos ever take anything seriously?" She complained quietly to him. Chiara was getting a little antsy, time was a finite resource. There was only so much of it left and then it was gone. She leaned in close to her greanblooded partner. "I think he knows something, at least i think he has seen some suspicious people about. I also asked him about Gerard." Then Chiara noticed Lorata walk in the door and talk to the guy she had just been talking to do. "Watch out for the fish!" Chiara called to the large juggalo adult. "Shes a slimy eel. Make sure you still have all your belongings when she walks away." Chiara turned to Hazmas. "I need to get out of here, it suddenly smells disgusting. What is that? Rotten fish?" Chiara looked a little sad for a second, then grinned at her new friend. She reached up and papped his cute little nose. While he was momentarily shocked she moved real close to him and slipped her hand into his pocket and pulled out the pill. "Meet me in the central place thing. Ive got some clues to give you too." Chiara hesitated a second and hugged her stunned friend before moving out of the room, back to the central hive-stem.
