She'd not taken more than a handful of shaky steps before two people, dressed in casino garb, came up to her. She heard them mumbling and she felt them poking and prodding at her. She wanted to scream as they messed with her, but found she simply couldn't.
This was all a bad dream. It was wrong. It couldn't' be real.
They left the collar on her, and Autumn.. Autumn didn't know what to do.

Kammy looked on in horror as two assistants went around placing collars on people, people she knew, before closing in on her. Soon she had a shiny collar of her own, one with a pretty high number.
Well, at the very least, she could say she was worth it.

Aaran could hardly believe so many people were hear, being tied up and assessed like they were just cattle. It was not a happy feeling, the events of the small room still playing on his mind. As he looked around he could recognize others, and that just made everything feel worse. Getting himself out of was one thing, but getting others out?
Soon the attendants came over to him, and after some arguing, clasped a collar around his neck.
He wasn't worth much, which although should have made him feel better actually kind of made him feel like s**t. Why wasn't he worth more? Sure it was easier this way, but he felt hurt. With a sigh he went to go start playing games. He needed to make enough to buy his life, and then be able to help Bing if the older man needed it.

Two attendants set on him like hungry hounds on a meal. They poked him, prodded him, even recognized who he was. How was this all even possible? How did they not know what this place was and to avoid it?
Then they started to mutter and look down at a sheet of paper, talking about worth and such. Grumbling to himself, he decided it was best not to gripe. They probably would have just raised his worth anyways.

Hitsu froze like a frightened animal when the two attendants loomed around her and made records of her apparent appraisal. At least she wasn't worthless, she supposed?
She was extremely uncomfortable in so much as wondering what the collar's purpose was, aside from just displaying their coin values.

The attendants ignored him, though they had clearly heard his complaint because they pinched and poked a little more than he deemed necessary before their own string of commentary began.

Max didn't know if the number he was given was bad or good. All he could do was shrug as he stepped back out onto the casino floor, looking for familiar faces to share in his determined confusion.

Emmanuel found himself being dragged around again, pulled in front of two people who were assessing him much like cattle going to a slaughterhouse.
"He looks fairly in tact. Limbs are there, eyes are there, better than some we get."
"Bony though. Does he eat enough?"
Their laughter drew another growl.
"Feisty, this one is! He should fetch a decent price."
Before long, he found a collar clasped around his neck with a number that made him pale. Lovely. How was he supposed to nearly double his money?

They were asking invasive questions about her birthday and her weight (the nerve), but it was when they started prodding around and under her limbs that Adelaide tried to force them back.

Austin was cheerful, pleased, practically whistling as he emerged with his new collar on -- eyes narrowed to a squint to take in the crowd around him. Angry, afraid, shaky or uncomfortable, most of them didn't look excited for this game, but he was -- and all the moreso to see his comparatively high value.
He grinned, waved to a familiar face, and slid away to find a game he could play.
