ＡＰＰＥＡＲＡＮＣＥNyx is a small Kirin with dark blue hair and pale blue skin. He looks as if the night sky was poured into a Kirin mold, his fur and ears littered with small white freckles like stars. His dark midnight-blue hair fades to a softer, lighter shade at the ends, styled in a short razored cut with two long pieces and thick bangs that graze his bright violet eyes. His horn and hair are the same dark midnight blue as his hair and the horn spirals delicately from his forehead. What is perhaps most striking, however, are the dark markings littering his skin. They match those of his siblings, delicate spots and triangles and stripes beneath his eyes and around his neck. Any other markings have yet to be seen, as he likes to remain mostly covered up.
ＰＥＲＳＯＮＡＬＩＴＹIf you are looking for a talkative, bubbly friend, it may be best to look elsewhere. Nyx is the very definition of an introvert: quiet, reserved, and often preferring to spend his free time alone or only with his siblings. Nyx talks very little but sees virtually everything, using his silence to blend in and observe. He is fascinated by the different races and the variations in their mannerisms, and prefers to watch rather than engage in conversation. A creative bookworm, Nyx can often be found reading or drawing and his favorite subject is the night sky and all of its inhabitants. His minders frequently have to convince him to go to bed on time.
When he does open up, even his "openness" is much more subtle than the average Kirin's. The biggest difference can be seen in his expressions and body language. Around his siblings Vega and Lyra, Nyx could even be called cuddly. He quite likes physical contact, but only the kind that he initiates. If he is touched without permission or warning, Nyx will recoil and possibly even retreat. One should be gentle and cautious at all times with this little Kirin.
Likes: The night sky, darkness, quiet, soft blankets, beautiful clothes and jewelry, and being with his siblings.
Dislikes: Bright sunlight, excessive heat, loud noises or people, sudden and unwanted touches, space and attention hogs, and crowds.

Upon entering the room, Nyx's love of the night sky becomes abundantly clear. Countless strings of glowing blue-white lights are hung throughout the room, particularly concentrated on the gauzy canopy above his bed. The room is painted in dark and cool colors, the and there is even a mural on one wall that he had a caretaker help him with, a beautiful rendering of the night sky and the moon taken from a book. His bed is soft and piled high with comfy pillows of all shapes and sizes, but save for his desk and wardrobe there is little else in the room. He has started a small collection of pictures on the wall above his desk, but has only a few so far.
ＥＬＤＲＩＴＣＨNyx is very fond of his house, even if Vega and Lyra are not in the same one. He likes the stance that Eldritch takes on all subjects, bringing in history and life to everything -- even math! The stereotypes of Eldritch as being a bit too caught in the past are annoying, but he doesn't see the house that way. In order to improve the future we must learn from the past, after all. And if we do not consider ourselves in everything, we will be left behind.
