Mr Julius Griffiths

*A loud firm authoritative and very British voice sounded loud and clear over her communicator* "MISTRESS TANIYAH!! Are you out playing superhero again and disobeying your Father and Your Brother?! You were told to stay put and stay unseen. Your exploits in the area are well known now. You have been spotted many times assisting the locals. However brave you may be you are very impetuous and headstrong. You know that now is not the time for any member of this family to be seen. Tis a very dangerous time for us now. We must use great caution. What you Brother is trying to protect can not fall into the wrong hands, and our enemies will try to use us against him. I have kept the newspapers and reports away from your parents eyes, and if your Brother finds out about your recent actions. he may take back that ring he gave you. I suggest you return back here, or I shall contact him and inform him of what you plan to do. I also heard the danger facing us all but you are not experienced in these matters. let the Justice League handle this. As they always do when situations like this arise!" *He then waited for a response from her, he did not want to contact her brother but he would if she continued to disobey him*

Taniyah lets out an exceptionally long scoff as she hears the all too familiar voice of her loyal butler. She pauses for a moment before replying to his message. With a huge eye roll she says, "Ugh...Jules!! my man......look, I know you like to be ...all careful and stuff...buuuut me personally, I'm so tired of waiting around while people are suffering. I'm not the lil' girl you use to know man...and I cant just sit here while the world is in danger! I think I'd rather die trying than live a life of this seclusion and little purpose!... It isn't who I am. That isnt what I....or my family, was put into this world for, and you and they know it very well. My father, my brother they are just scared is all...they take things too seriously, man, But me? I ain't fazed at all and I can't hide in the shadows any longer!" Taniyah sighs into the speaker,"...look, you know me probably better than anyone , Julius, and you know ive always done my own thing. But this is different...I know im ready, I wouldn't say so if I felt otherwise. So please, just believe me when I say I got this...I'm a lot stronger than what you've known. Julius, please trust me.", Communication cuts off to static.

The Emerald Arrow

“What took you so long?” Not to be considered a personal remark, it was only seconds after he asked him to open it. The two stepped through, the first thing he would do is examine the area. He had never seen the old “Arrowcave”, although clearly this was most likely a step up. RIght under a loft, maybe an apartment complex. Everything seemed to shine bright, reflecting in a sleek fashion over the plating on the inside. It was a comfortable setup, compared to what the Batcave is.

“You’ve stepped away from the team scene when everyone was asked to stay on with the government. Everyone else seemed surprised but it was obvious. Getting back to your roots probably did you good.” His head would crane up, referring to the Arrowcave.

“Most of the heavy hitters in the Justice League aren’t around to help us with this,” He gripped a small part of his gauntlet, pulling it out revealing a USB like cord. Connecting it with a monitor on one of the tables, League information pulled up showing exactly what Batman was looking at on his way here. As the last time, ex and current League members were displayed on the screen in front of them. Batman’s index finger glided alongside the pictures and names.

“Many people left the roster, I didn’t expect anyone to agree with what would happen to the Justice League. I came here for you and Atom, and one if not both of the Canaries. Metropolis has Steel and Lex Luthor as far as I know at the moment. Most likely they’ll be keeping the peace. Though I’d like to avoid Luthor for as long as possible, I know we’ll see him then. No word from Barry, I haven’t heard anything in months about speedster activity in Central City.”

He paused, letting Oliver take in what he had to say, to catch up and regroup to the point of the topic. “I’m formulating a plan, but Mongul’s attack strategy is still unknown to us. With the confirmed numbers I’ll have something to set in stone. An undisclosed Justice League headquarters still contains active Javelins and supplies, only issue is that the only way in is through Boom Tubes and those have been shut down until further notice. I need Ray to do the repairs on one here in Star City.” The list scrolled down to Furious, Superman, and Wonder Woman. He doubted that they would attain reinforcement from either of three, thus opting them out of a final plan. “Make the call to your allies, that is if you’re in for this.”

'May you live in interesting times' An old Chinese curse to some. A blessing to others. In this day and age everyone lived in interesting times. Little known to most people that most recently, a temporal incursion occurred, bringing in an organization from a parallel universe. A parallel Earth. An invasion. An invasion lead by individuals with special abilities that rivaled the Justice League of this Earth.hey were simply known as the Crime Syndicate. A perverse, corrupt, and every since of the way evil Justice League. Everything that the League stood for, the Crime Syndicate stood for the opposite. At this time few know the how, or the why the Syndicate invaded Earth. That information was only available to individuals in certain select circles in the now how.

Their first, was the Justice League themselves. Earth's first, last, and best defense. They were infiltrated from the inside out. They were also the first to fall to the Crime Syndicate. The remaining members that survived the initial invasion by the Syndicate went into hiding. The Syndicate also attempted to recruit those who were labeled unsavory, or did wrong in the eyes of the government, the law, or the Justice League themselves. They were given an ultimatum...you were either with them, or against them. Many flocked to the ranks to the Crime Syndicate attempting to form their own Secret Society out of the lot of them.

What the Crime Syndicate didn't expect, was resistance. Not from the Justice League, but those who they thought would share their views, and this Earth. They didn't expect opposition. And it came from the most notorious individuals from all around, a rag tag group that consisted of the likes of Black Adam of Kahndaq former champion of Shazam, the infamous mercenary for hire Deathstroke the Terminator, the Scourge of the Seven Seas Black Manta, and lead by one of the most influential men in the world today Lex Luthor.

Luthor with aid from his team and others was able to defeat the Crime Syndicate, save the members of the Justice League, and save the Earth itself. Luthor's team by now had gone their separate ways. Luthor advocated for pardons by the United States Government for some of the crimes his team members committed prior to the invasion of Earth. Which was granted though his connections inside the government, and Amanda Waller herself. Luthor's popularity right now in the public eye was at an all time high. The press and the public revered him greatly on the same level as Superman, or Batman.

In Metropolis there was celebrations in the streets particularly outside of LexCorp Tower. Which leads us to presently....

The crowds outside of LexCorp Tower grew in the thousands. Due to fans of Lex Luthor's actions, and the press that had gathered outside the tower itself. Luthor had been busy dealing with the clean up due to the temporal invasion by the Crime Syndicate himself, and handling the legal actions of his teammates that assisted him. Today, instead of flying in an expensive LexCorp private jet or helicopter, or even a nice car, Luthor walked the streets and was hosting a press conference outside the steps of LexCorp Tower. He had very little time to speak with them so far since the invasion or incursion.

You could see the dust, the nicks, the marks, the scrapes, on Luthor's armor as he made his way up the steps, as people mobbed him. There was minimal security around Luthor himself. No podium or stage at LexCorp. No pomp and circumstance done on Luthor's behalf. All of this was done by the people. Luthor could her the intangible voices calling out from him from the crown as he reached the last steps of LexCorp Tower. "Mr. Luthor!?" "Mr. Luthor!?" "Mr. Luthor!?" "Mr. Luthor!?" "Mr. Luthor, where has the Justice League gone?" "Mr. Luthor what are you intentions towards the Justice League?" "Mr. Luthor, what has happened to Superman? Batman? Wonder Woman." Then Luthor cried out to the crowd "Please please, ladies and gentlemen. I'd like to answer all your questions but in an orderly fashion."

Then the lights and the TV cameras from the press became affixed on him. Then the questions came:

While answering questions from the press, a electronic voice chimed out to him "Incoming transmission..." Suddenly he stopped and the crowd began to be become confused at his abruptness. He shouted out loud to the crowd and the press "Pardon me ladies and gentlemen, but I have pressing matters at hand! Believe me I would love to stay and answer your questions. Another time perhaps?" Then you could still hear the insistent questions of "Mr. Luthor?!" from the crowd as Luthor himself made his way into LexCorp Tower. "Welcome Mr. Luthor!" as one of the LexCorp receptionists greeted him with a smile as he walked near by the main desk in the lobby of LexCorp Tower. Before taking the elevator to his private lab. His eyes turned towards the TV screens in the lobby that were broadcasting news reports around the world from all the major news outlets. Then suddenly they all came to a stop and were interrupted by a strange and alien individual Luthor was unfamiliar with, and was broadcasted on all the major news channels.

Across the length and width of the planet Earth, orbiting satellites were hijacked by an unknown frequency. This frequency sent a broadcast to televisions and computers all through out the globe. And then he appeared. A giant of a man, obviously alien of some kind as by his hard yellow skin. He sat upon a silver throne, arms resting over his laps. He had a brutal yet regal majesty to him.He was silent for but a moment, his eyes fierce, as though he was glarimg at all of those watching the screens. And then he spoke.“People of Earth. I am Mongul, Tyrant of Debstam, Lord Commander of the Imperium Infinite, Master of Warworld. Many have been the planets to fall before me. Millions are the lives I have taken. Know that your world is next. You have only your so called 'saviors' to thank for what it is to come. Their continues insults towards myself and my authority are what has led to your coming fate. But they are no longer there to protect you. Superman and his league have abandoned all of you. Your Justice League is no more. And now, your world will pay for their mistakes. Know that this is not an invasion. What is coming is your absolute destruction. With that, all of the televisions returned to their original broadcast, leaving all of the people of Earth to wonder at what was going to happen. Who Mongul was. And what hell was coming their way.

"Oh good this again. Like we didn't go through something like this already weeks ago" He stated as he watched the television screens. The LexCorp employees had the look of shock and disbelief on their faces due to sudden appearance of this alien menace. A security guard walked up and approached Luthor and asked him "Mr. Luthor sir...what do we do now?" Luthor then turned to him and said in a stern manner,"Lockdown the building. No one gets in, or out. Calmly get the employees to the safe shelters. Have around the clock security patrols, level 5, maximum security at all times. I'm going to deal with our little alien problem." He said walking away from the security guard to a nearby elevator that was reserved for Luthor himself. He briskly walked inside the elevator car, and pressed one of the buttons that would take him down into his private labs. Then the electronic voice from his armor rang out again "Incoming transmission!" "From who?" he replied back "Amanda Waller" "Patch me through to Waller immediately. Luthor to Waller. I need a sitrep on this...what was his name...this Mongul. Got anything on him? Because I've never heard of him until a few minutes ago." he stated while the elevator was descending down.

Always as cool as a cucumber, Amanda Waller started speaking in a calm but very stern voice just to let Lex Luthor know that she was always in control
"Yes Mr. Luthor, his name is Mongol. The Justice League has dealt with him before. He is a Alien despot of unimaginable power..supposedly on the level of Superman..but We aren't truly sure. Very little is known about him, but from reports of past League missions. he may be in control of a vast alien armada. Right now my only concern is preventing him from reaching Earth orbit. I am awaiting word from The Martian as we speak. We need to formulate a plan to deal with this., I want whatever people you can gather and use your resources to stop Mongul before he gets here. The populace is already panicking. I am in contact with other world governments at the moment.. As for The United States of America. We do have military on standby and the National Guard to quell any riots or looting in the streets if it comes to that. I am prepared to follow the orders decreed by The President as he will put the nation under Martial Law if needed to protect the populace from themselves. This may be an extinction level event. Our long range scanners have sent back photos of what appears to be the size of a small moon and it appears to be moving at a very fast speed through the outer reaches of space. Mr. Luthor, We need to stop it before it reaches Our Planet!" .
She then took a deep breath and let it out slowly
"Mr. Luthor, I need you to rally your forces and help lead the Justice League. With public support in your favor, this could be good for the country. We need an inspirational figure now..and Lex Luthor is the one person who popularity is at an all time high! No one knows the location of most of the leading members of the Justice League..with you out front, perhaps it will make some of them return. Those egos of theirs will refuse to let Lex Luthor steal their thunder. I am also very sure, we can reply this invasion with your help. Are you prepared to save this world once again Mr. Luthor?"

How long had it been since she was seen? How long has it been since she was there? Amazing how time flies when one stops just long enough to witness it. Having killed the engine as she coasted her motorcycle down into a sloped entry way nearby. The surroundings seemed too still as she cocked her head up, allowing her senses to adjust. She couldn't help but notice an outline of something hovering in the air, briefly. The low lying clouds, hung in the air with the humidity. So for whatever was hovering in the air, had a blanket of fog to protect its whereabouts.

Pushing up and off of her motorcycle that was parked. She made her way towards a telephone pole, that had a posted sign on it. That stated in big bold letters, NO TRESPASSING. Staring at the sign, she reached forward with her gloved index finger. Swiping along the raised metallic surface, which activated a computerized eye scan. Green illuminated light sprung out and away from the metal sign. As the female vigilante's eyes were scanned. The light blinked twice, before dissipating. Looking off past the sign she saw the same light, blink twice. Moving past the sign, towards the light. She watched as the interior chain, along a chain link fence vanish as if it were an illusion. Stepping through the opening, the doorway closed shut once she made entry. The illusion of the chain link fence returned, making it appear solid once more.

As she stood inside the darkened entry point, lights suddenly lit along where the floor met the walls. Small led lights illuminated the hallway, leading her towards to meeting room. Every step she took forwards, the led lights behind her would turn off. As she advanced down the hall, she thought she could hear two voices conversing with one another. One voice sounded slightly annoyed while the other was holding the floor. “Make the call to your allies, that is if you’re in for this.” As she came into the clearing, she made contact with Oliver. The tall man in black, had his back to her. She knew eventually the tall drink of water would turn around to see who was there.

"Some of us don't need to be called, when it comes to situations such as this." The Canary said as she made her presence known. Standing within an arms length reach of the duo. Keeping her eyes settled on Oliver, while she awaited for the man in black to turn around.

"What took you so long?"

The ego on this guy. That was something he forgot about too. Though, Oliver ignored that statement by not acknowledging it. Actually his old self would of taken all of this a little too to heart. But he was still in a happy place. After everything it was good to be just happy.

However when Batman asked about his allies Oliver shook his head no immediately. He didn't want them to be apart of this, at least not now anyhow. Besides they had never faced anyone such as Mongul before. He was a creature hell bent on destroying anything in his path. He wouldn't allow his team to be put in that predicament.

Just as he was beginning to make his response known Sara had walked in. "Excuse me?" Oliver asked almost abruptly. "Sara, can I have a moment with you?" Ollie asked proceeding to move past Batman and toward her. "Why are you here?"

He had dropped out of sight when the meta-human act had passed. For the first time, He was able to pass as human and he could leave the life of being a part of the Justice League behind. He decide to leave it all behind, his friends and comrades he had grown to love and respect. He refused to be controlled by anyone. He knew that feeling before when he was first created. he swore that would never happen again. So he was resigned to this new life. Where no one would bother him, he was free to live out his life, as long as that may be

His immediate answer surprised him although the look on his face didn't show it. Head tilting slightly to the right, he didn't anticipate Oliver's answer to be so sudden, expecting hesitation. When the entire world is being threatened by an alien world-conqueror, most who can have the ability to do so would save earth. He forgot who he was talking to. His eyes closed behind the thick dark black, a brief shake of his head, not enough to warrant any other meaning than being disappointed with the answer.

Gripping the black cord, he released it from the monitor; the Justice League list disappearing from the screen ultimately rendering it black. The cord zipped back into his gauntlet where the casing shut completely. He'd do a run check, making sure nothing was corrupted, he could never be too sure. "I respect your choice. Think about this, I'd do just about anything to keep Gotham from being decimated, that includes this planet. I'd hope you do the same for Star City, your home."

"Some of us don't need to be called, when it comes to situations such as this."

Batman's intention was to turn and leave, in front of him stood exactly what he came for in the first place. Giving no remark, he simply left it with a nod. Shrouded behind the light cape, his eyes followed Oliver all the way until he met with Sara. Whatever her intentions were, coming with or not, he had hoped he could at least count for the Atom, wherever he may be. His gaze turned into a slight frown, the cowling moving with his expression. He stopped to listen, listen and wait.

Just as he was beginning to make his response known Sara had walked in. "Excuse me?" Oliver asked almost abruptly. "Sara, can I have a moment with you?" Ollie asked proceeding to move past Batman and toward her. "Why are you here?"

When Oliver moved to where she stood, asking a couple of questions. Simple shrug of her shoulders, which normally would imply, I dunno. "Why am I here?" Her eyebrows rose slightly as she moved to place her hands along her hips. "Well lets see... where shall I start? Oh yes, there's a big yellow pimple of a guy making an announcement that he's coming here to make all of us pay for something the Justice League did. Or did not do. Which has infuriated him, so he intends on destroying everything."

"That's why I am here." Sara was pissed, not at Oliver, at the situation. "I will not sit idly by and remain a ghost. This thing? Person? Monster? Obviously someone we have not faced before? Am I scared? Damn straight! I would be a fool not to admit otherwise. I am not going to sit this out on the bench and act as if everything is going to be okay." Shaking her head to the sides, "I want to help. I want to do whatever I can to stop this monster from destroying what we all care for, Oliver." Since they were on a first name basis, that Oliver started.

Stirring slightly in sleep, Ana's eyelids slowly peeled open looking about the room. Seeing Gabriel was still asleep, she sat up yawning. Reaching up with both hands to wipe away the sleep from her eyes. The sound of waves rolling in could be heard from where she slept. Placing her feet down along the cool tiled flooring, she made her way towards the open doorway leading outside of their room. Once she made it past the see through drapery floating endlessly in the air, she found her feet sinking in along the warm, sand. Trekking slowly over to where Furious was sitting, she could tell he had been there for a while. "Something on your mind?" Ana said breaking the quiet air floating about him.

At first he would've argued back but he knew that would be a waste of breath and their time. As referenced big ugly was almost here and they still needed a solid plan.

Oliver sighed, knowing Sara had made up her mind. "You're right. Besides we might need all the numbers we can get. We were discussing plans for this situation. You care to fill her in?" Ollie gestured towards Batman then.

"What about the others? Or is this your first stop?"

Furious turned his head towards the side glancing towards the love of his life and smiled with a uncertain look on his face. he knew she could see right through him..So instead of telling her something to reassure her. He instead just spoke truthfully to her.."Ever since we came here with the blessing of My Gods, We have been safe from harm and it's given me time to meditate and get myself healed and my strength renewed. All I ever wanted to do was to keep My family safe. My Parents refused to come with us Mr. Julius stayed with them out of duty to My Parents and to keep an eye on Taniyah as I had asked him to. She bears a huge responsibility ever since I created her power ring and gave it to her. I just pray she is doing the right thing in regards to it and protecting our parents. However, I feel that something is not right back home. I have a very bad feeling that something is not right. I sense our friends may need our help. I want to return to the mortal world Ana..but once we step back across that boundary, then He will be able to sense I have returned. We barely beat him the last time and with out the help of My Grandfather and Shazam and his family of comrades. We could not have won. With my Grandfather's passing, the mantle of Hougan Asogwe Supreme is now mine. It's a great responsibility i carry now. As well as keeping hold of the Necronomicon. I can't keep this book forever. For fear it will taint me with its continued possession. I must give to to someone else to bear the responsibility. Someone who has dealt with it's evil magics before. I know only one person who I am sure can keep the book hidden as well as not fall prey to it...That man is John Constantine! Only problem is, I have No idea where He is at back home. I last heard He was involved with the House Of Mystery, and even that place is hard to locate as who ever is in possession can make it appear anywhere they so choose.Still, regardless of the fact that I need to get rid of this grimoire..I still feel as if something isn't right back home.

Clickety-clack, clickety-clack, clickety-clack, was the sound of a subway train making its way down a long tunnel underground. The sound of the wheels rotating and grinding against the metal rails was almost hypnotic, allowing its riders to focus on the sound as the steel beast made its way from one point to another. Inside one of the six cars traveling at seventy miles per hour, was filled with about twenty patrons. Some were standing, holding onto straps from the ceiling or leaning against the poles that held up benches lining the walls of the car. The subtle rocking of the car's weight making that clickety-clack sound was muffled by the interior of the cars. The only sounds that could be heard, were patrons conversing with one another, or listening to their iPods with music rocking away from ears.

It was just another day in the city to the majority that rode the subway to work and then home. Advertisement could occasionally be heard on the car's radio speaker located above the patron's heads. As well as shown on small screens that flashed the next destination along with times being flashed. Today was a different story, while everyone on board was in their own world dealing with minor trifles, an interruption abruptly made its presence known both on the speakers within each car, as well as on the screens that had once broadcasted their next destination and time.

“People of Earth.

Everyone in the car froze, as eyes tuned in towards the screens, ear plugs from music pulled. As all everyone could do was stare in confusion. When the message ceased, everyone returned to whatever had captured their attention. Some actually responded to the message with foul explicit language, while others rolled their eyes. There was someone always out there wanting their 30 seconds of fame. There was however, an individual on the train, that began to wonder if this message sent was legit or a hoax. Like everyone, people needed proof. Leaning against one of the poles closest to the doors, Julian was doing his best to not appear phased by such nonsense. The nagging voice in the back of his head, spelled out trouble. What could he do? He was practically a new kid on the block. Being transferred from one school to another. Acting like any college kid that could easily blend in with a crowd of people, being unnoticed and forgotten. A loud ping could be heard over the speakers along with the announcement of which station the train was coming to a stop at, "Metropolis Grand Station."

Here was his stop. He could walk to the new community college from where the grand station was, or he could ride the city bus or taxi. Walking was the best decision for now. Stepping off as the doors slid open, the crowd of people exiting as well as entering seemed normal. Reaching into his pocket he removed his shades as he ascended a flight of stairs leading to the street level. That's where the attitude from underground and being on top changed. Julian felt as though he was stuck in a crowd of bees. The buzzing from conversation and panic was too loud, to where he found himself placing back his music ear buds while working his way out past a large crowd of people whom started to take on the attitude of a mob. Great! First day here and people want to fight? Not exactly my cup of tea! Doing his best to appear anonymous he made his way through the crowd and onto the other side of the street. As he crossed the street something shiny from the air caught his attention. Once he was on the sidewalk, he stared up at the known iconic Daily Planet globe. Taking a second glance upwards, he thought he saw someone flying beside the globe. Impossible! No.. it is possible. Wait a minute, that person doesn't exactly look like Superman. Maybe that advertisement broadcast on the train was legit? s**t..of all the times. Keeping his thoughts to himself, he found he was not the only one looking up towards the globe as people standing around had out their cell phones and cameras taking pictures of the over sized silver bullet hovering in the air. Tugging on his hoodie, he pulled his gaze away from the flying high man towards his next destination. Talk about a great way to start the weekend off.

Mongul had come to learn that despite the myriad numbers of species across the length and width of the universe; Their cultures, their appearances, beliefs or technologies, they all had something in common. And that was the over riding belief that each and every single one of their worlds and societies were important and integral to the universe as a whole. That one species and one alone could believe itself to matter more than anything else in the universe was vanity, plain, pure, and simple. And he of course loved proving them wrong every single time. That was why he took so much pleasure in pitying the survivors of the worlds that he had conquered or in most cases destroyed, against one another.

As they killed one another to ensure their own continued existence, and that of their brothers and sisters, the idea that they had any significance in anything other than the entertainment of the crowd was more evident than anything else. With a gesture of his hand, he had caused the demise of several dozen interstellar races. In a way he was acting as the hand of fate itself, a bold and arrogant claim surely, but one so aptly gained and proven time and time again. One he would prove again, as the time for another game had come. One that would keep him and the denizens of warworld entertained until their arrival to Earth, something that was now only nine hours away. He had spent enough time preparing himself for the battle to come. Now was the time to put himself at ease. He stood away from his mobile dais. A hover platform that could disconnect from his viewing center and made it all the easier to catch the attention of the crowd and the combatants below.

“Citizens of War World.” He finally spoke, his deep voice carried throughout the arena, capturing the attention of thousands of spectators. “The hour of battle will soon be upon us. Even now the warriors of War World arm themselves, preparing for the fight and glory that is soon to come.” His hand slid over several keys along the dais rails. From several projectors spread throughout the arena, beams of light intersected, their rays shattering and reforming into the holographic image of a great blue orb, encompassed with several land masses.

He raised his hand, gesturing towards the image. “Behold the planet Earth. A meagre world of dirt and water. Yet it is the only world to ever defy me and manage to evade my wrath. A mistakethat shall not be made again.” His hand clenched into a fist, the hologram shattering once more, only to coalesce into an image of an all too familiar foe clad in brilliant blue and flowing red, accompanied several other equally colored and strangely dressed assortment of individuals. “Their greatest champion, Superman! And his cohorts known only as the Justice League.” The crowd started to shout and boo at the sight before them. Only quieting down when Mongul motioned for them to calm with another gesture of his hand.” In the past, these individuals dared to stand before me, to humiliate me, to insult with the very idea that they have bested me. An act that shall be punished with slavery and death!” He declared with a vicious roar, that caused the crowd to cheer and cry out for his name. His eyes closed in bliss, as he bathed in their adulation, their fear and devotion filling his ears as though they were music.

“They will pay for their transgressions with blood, for now feast, drink and enjoy the entertainment to come!” He raised both hands, letting them cheer once more before the dais flew back towards the viewing bay, the doors to both sides of the arena opening, signaling the start of the next games to follow. The blood shed in this arena, would be but a precursor for what was to come.

Ana took a seat beside her husband, listening to everything he had to say. His expression alone told her something was wrong. When he mentioned the 'book' she lowered her head slightly to the side before her eyes drifted off towards the crashing waves. "I knew that one day we would have to return. I did not know as to when, but I knew someday we would have to go." Thinking of their family she turned to face him, "I know that there's a heavy burden when it comes to handling the Necronomicon." She agreed, "It's time to pass that responsibility onto someone else. I am aware of the dangers if that does not happen. You and I will do what we can to protect our loved ones." Ana knew that if the book was not given to someone else, someone would have to pay a hefty price. A price not everyone is willing to do. Her thoughts lingered to Gabriel, their son, whom was still resting. Lowering her eyes momentarily before lifting her eyes back up to meet with Furious's eyes. "When do we leave?" Furious no doubt could hear the warrior spirit from within Ana as she asked when they were to depart this haven they had been at for sometime. She wasn't rushing, but she knew the longer they waited the more difficult it would be to depart.

The Emerald Arrow

He thought highly of their decision to join on. It would be an even smaller resistance force without their help. A skilled martial arts and the best archer he knows. Batman stepped forward, joining them in their conversation. "The basic run-down. Most of the Justice League is currently discharged or signed on with the government. Lex will most likely be leading whatever that team is and with their kind of funding, they'll have plenty of resources at their disposal. I want nothing to do with them but in the end, when Mongul arrives, we're fighting on the same side." The metallic gauntlet moved around some, opening keys and revealing a touch pad. A small holographic mini-map showed in front of the three. "This is what we have. Only Superman, Wonder Woman, Furious, and I know about this location. In dire times, now you do. It's unknown to most, I was able to delete any record of it when I left. It contains several working Javelins, supplies and so forth. As I mentioned, the issue with this is that it needs a Boom Tube to be reached; another reason why I came." The hologram disappeared before them, Batman putting his arms down to his side. "I need Ray Palmer to make repairs on the Tube here in Star City."
