Amari's stare had definitely not put his nerves at ease. Math was one of his worst subjects, so he was already nervous before he even stepped into the classroom. Even the fact that they were part grimm didn't settle him. When they announced what the activity would be, he sort of wished he could just disappear. Logic problem...? He'd always been told he wasn't particularly smart, surely he'd fail this class...
He stared at the sheet with an overwhelming sense of dismay, but dutifully filled it out to the best of his ability... He was the last kid to turn it in, he'd almost run out of time. He quickly put the paper on Amari's desk, then shuffled out of the room before they could say anything to him.

Ooo! A coloring sheet! Leilah had been quite happy to receive it that day in class. When she finally had time to sit down and color it that evening she picked out her two favorite colors and went to work. She was a little annoyed when she went out of the lines once or twice, but she didn't brag that she was a beautiful colorist! She preferred reading, reading was fun! Still, coloring was also fun in it's own way.
She happily skipped into class the next morning to turn in her assignment.

 Math might not be Enoukn's favorite subject but he wasn't terrible at it. After all, one needed to know how to add and subtract and count in order to identify and care for plants after all! The plants on the coloring sheet were cute enough as it was, that Enoukn spent more time trying to get the right color orange than he did actually counting properly on the assignment but still! So he hadn't stayed ENTIRELY in the lines - so what? Scribbling his name at the top he was more than happy with his final product, and happily turned it in when it was due.

Ugh. Classes were terribly dreadful, all of them except for his music and acting classes. He hated more practical studies, especially Math. He knew the principles behind multiplication, but goodness it was so boring. Of course, he wouldn't say that outloud. But he did roll his eyes when he was handed their quiz for the day. She squinted his eyes down at the paper. Oh how he wishes he could be playing some music right now instead...
But he had promised Cherish he would graduate! So, he took this as an opportunity to do better than Cammy at least! He glanced over at his sister, the one he often competed with and shot her a bit of a smirk. Then he set to work, at times he had to add the number in his head, but all in all it wasn't all that bad.
He was able to turn it in before time was up at least! His tail wagged happily as he made his way back to his seat.

Unlike Conan, Cherish appreciated math. Math was just as important to music as it was to everything else. It also didn't hurt that she had a brain for numbers! But music was really just applied math if you sat and thought about it hard enough. It was all counting and timing and a complex equation of numbers converted to sound. But, if her siblings thought that they were going to slide by on good looks and musical talent alone they had another thing coming. Cherish would - and had in the past - drug her siblings to class by their ears. Kicking and screaming. As long as they sat, listened and did their work, there would be peace in the triplet's dorm that night. She was somewhat annoyed that Conan was again turning this into a competition with Cammy... But if it got things done then so be it. She focused on the quiz, her pen moving quickly across the page as she did the multiples in her head. She made a mental note to see if she could find a good accounting class when they got to college... She'd need to be able to balance their checkbooks. Still, once she was done, she put her name on her paper and turned it into Professor Amari. She hoped that they wouldn't grade too harshly. For her sibling's sake.

Andromeda was not really sure they liked numbers very much so far... They tried very hard to remember which order they went in, and how to draw them, but ended up messing up a couple of times on their sheet. It didn't help that the crayon they used had covered up the clues!! Hopefully Mx.Amari would not mind... They nervously slid the paper up onto Amari's desk.. something about her made them a little scared.

 Math class, this should be easy of Yihad right? It would just be a bunch of numbers, trying to find the volume of a pyramid, and-... say what? A logic puzzle? Well, that one shocked Yihad, but no problem! Hu didn't have to work with anyone this time so it was much easier for hum than in hus other classes. Not only that, but hu would take it home and work on it.
It didn't take long for the litch to figure out the puzzle, putting it nicely in hus backpack for turning it in the next day. When it came time to turn in hus assignment, Yihad decided to come in early and turn it in. Hu knew hu didn't want to be in the mess of things when everyone turned their assignments in.

 Smiling as she accepted the sheet, Ashlynn was actually rather pleased to see what it was she was supposed to do. Coloring was soothing and if it got her to do math along the way, who was she to complain.
Bending over her paper, she colored in mittens and fought off the urge to hum to herself. Once she was done, she got up and walked the paper over to the desk. Easy peasy.

 This was it? This was the math assignment? Well, Madla wasn't about to look a gift horse in the mouth. The geist set to coloring away, quickly running through the math questions. When she was done, she headed up to the front and turned the paper in, heading off to her next class.

 Sascha eyed Amari nervously as they handed him his sheet and quickly sat up straight. This teacher seemed a little on the stern side, didn't they? He'd better keep quiet and just get to work. The coloring sheet was, of course, as simple as simple could be, and he quickly found himself inching his way up to Amari's desk to hand it in. "H-here you go! It should be correct." He stuttered, his shoulders arching.

More coloring! Foras was always excited when teachers used coloring and drawing in their assignments, it made him all the more eager to learn whatever it was they were actually teaching. Of course, he didn't particularly like math. However, the problems were easy enough to figure out. Before long he had colored in all of the sections of the caterpillar properly and was handing in his assignment to the teacher with a shy little grin.

 Koharu grinned as she looked at her assignment proudly, all colored and correct! She hoped. Okay so her assignment looked a bit sloppy, she wasn't... very good at coloring things. Fine Arts wasn't her forte, she was a performer! Ikki was the artistic nerdling. She shook her head and wandered up to the teacher's desk, handing in her assignment. --------------------------------------------  Ikki sighed to himself as he watched Koharu hop up to turn in her paper. He waited until his hybrid friend had sat back down and he stood, looking over his neatly colored assignment. It was relaxing to color like this. He gave Koharu a nod and walked past her to turn in his paper.

 Cyota didn't like this assignment too much. But it was done quick enough and it seemed that, compared to their letter sheets, this one turned out good. Proudly, they presented the sheet to their teacher, Amari. "Teacher! I did it just like you said. Thank you teacher." Smiling, they waved and went to ponder if such an oddly colored creature could be real.
