Half the reason I was going to that map, was because those and the Phantom Sycas were helping slowly move my quest forward. Now that they're dropping the same stuff as Stage 4s (and it seems like Sycas in general aren't showing up much anymore)... Kindred doesn't feel like it's worth it to me. Are there any plans to kick some new life into this game to make it fun again? They were not nerfed. No drops have been changed. I addressed this in a forum on LK. excitable sloth Touhru Adachi Lake Kindred / Items So, insofar as evolving Kin go, I find that I heavily prefer some of the earlier stages to the later stages aesthetically ... but unfortunately, not evolving my Kin leaves me at a HUGE power disadvantage. Which, frankly, I find to be incredibly lame, and I think this should be remedied -- With power equalizers. For maybe 25 GC apiece, we can boost one stat of our first or second stage Kin to match that of its third stage counterpart. Example: Say we have a level 50 Shi Hou. We love Shi Hou more than we love Houwang or Wukong. But it's far inferior in power to a level 50 Wukong. Booo!! So, we buy a power equalizer, and feed it to Shi Hou, and viola! Suddenly, Shi Hou's hard work to get to level 50 without evolving pays off -- it now has the stats of a level 50 Wukong whilst still being a tiny little fuzzy monkey! Using them after this will not increase their stats further than their unlocked, fully evolved level 50 potential. It just, as the name implies, equalizes how much damage they can do, can take, etc. This is actually something we've considered and may implement in the future! excitable sloth kokubourou Games: Lake Kindredare kin encounter rates determined by kin/level? or do you have an equal chance of encountering all kins in an area? like, do certain kins have higher encounter rates than others? i know we had an issue with a user abusing the rng a while ago, but i assume that was dealt with sorry if this has been answered previously, i don't usually check ATS ;-; Kin encounter rates vary. But rather... a Brilliant Tanuki. Like seriously? This is rather very unfair. Hard enough to even get it or the Sakura Fluffs to drop an egg. If we are gonna keep getting Tanuki and Kitsuni Kins from this game, they should really be confined to being dropped from them only and not from other Kin. Are there any plans to shake up the level rewards from kin you raise? I find it very
off-putting to be getting singe, refresh and magic restore potions every other level
when I get them by the bucket load just from beating weaker kin in battle. Especially
when it's a cash shop kin. It stops me from levelling them up past ten unless they are
an evolving kin.
A shake up to the battle rewards in earlier areas would be nice too. Seeing more
Death Dealer Potions and ally [kin] potions dropping would be nice. I can't even
remember when I last got a DDP as a drop. It is possible in the future, but at the moment it is not. :C excitable sloth Arowan Games -- Lake Kindred Since this buff of older kins is apparently happening soon... when it does happen, can we get some hard numbers on the changed stats of the kin when it does? How about making a potion (or something) that rejuvenates the Kin back to Level 1? That way the new owner could get copies of whatever rewards it offers. I've had some people PM me about this (PMs will be replied to once we get through the initial round of disables), but if you send us a PM with the level of the Kin, we'll credit you some ally 100% potions to compensate for the loss. I'm not too interested in raising 12 more Sakuras back to level 50 Send the person who sends you a PM about your trades being enabled a PM with the level of the Kins you had, they'll credit you Ally 100% Potions to compensate. Please keep in mind that while they may read your PM, it may take a bit to credit the Potions as we're working on restoring trades to users first. Does this mean that the staff is relying on honest user reports and granting free, extra, level rewards (including, but not limited to, the kin equippables)? We'll be doing some level of verification, but ultimately it's not the fault of the users who were affected by this and they shouldn't be punished by having their Kin reverted to level 1 (as we cannot grant a Kin at a certain level). excitable sloth Xashowd Games/Lake KindredSo a while back we heard there is an actual Accuracy Stats for Kins, just that it's behind the scenes. October 4th, 2016: Zero Omega Princess Kunzite Features?So how bad was this recent bout with the LK scammer in comparison to the issues back in May or June, when it last happened? I had my trading pass suspended last week on Thursday because of the issue, but I know that staff seemed to have been more on point with trying to stop the scammer with banning her accounts as quickly as possible. Should be expect our passes to be restored a lot quicker than last time, or are we going to be stuck waiting nearly a month like last time? We don't suspect the trouble is as bad as last time, so we're currently not estimating it will be a long wait.
