'Great, more budgets.' Ares thought to himself, chewing aimlessly on the eraser of his pencil. 'These shouldn't be too hard though.' So with that thought the imp took the worksheet and looked it over. No, nothing too bad indeed. It didn't take him more than a few minutes to go through the math, double checking to make sure he had the right answers. After that he scrawled out the answers to the questions. There, done and done. Sliding out of his seat he gathered his bag and went to turn in the worksheet. That was one less thing for him to finish tonight. It wouldn't be long before he'd finished all his classes and could get out of here.

Cooking was not really something Eidil did much, but she didn't dare comment on that to her parents. They would insist, in response, that she make dinner for them over the weekend--use those brand new skills of hers from this oh-so-important class. Well, they were going to insist on that anyway. She might as well learn, besides--maybe she could make candy? Like peanut brittle or brownies or humbugs or, okay, now she was drooling. She shook her head and took notes, giggling uproariously as the teacher's tail betrayed him. Well! She didn't want to make mistakes, no indeed! She flashed a grin to her friends and knuckled down to take some serious notes.

Cooking was a daily part of Callessa's life. Her mother was often busy in the evening, leaving Cal to cook for all three of them. It was sort of a soothing task, especially when she got to use homegrown ingredients. Those were the best times. She'd actually taken to starting to teach her little brother to cook. Mom was a little worried about that, but the little trooper was showing a great aptitude for leveling off the sugar and the flour. She didn't expect Teo to become some sort of great chef someday, but he'd at least be able to make a plate of cookies someday.
Cal shook her head at the tail joke. She didn't get it, but Eidil seemed to think it was hilarious. Maybe it was a tail-haver thing. She'd ask later--after she'd taken some notes.

While cooking wasn't something Shannon did on a regular basis, she did use to help her Mom out more when she was little. Granted it was more along the direction of baking that she got to lick the spoons at the end but still, she had some experience and it helped out a bit from time to time in the class. Even so, she knew she had a lot to learn and while the class couldn't teach her everything, it would teach her a lot so long as she paid attention and take good notes. Maybe she would surprise her family and cook dinner one night in celebration if she passed the class.

Mytrax was tense and nervous and more than a little embarrassed by this assignment. Bad enough that she had to do this on her own but there were other Nightmares around. What if they saw her underthings? In her nervousness and intention to expose her clothing to the possibility of them being seen as short as possible, she hurriedly threw everything in. She doled out the measurements well enough, and she paid extra attention to when it would be done, but alas while the laundry was done, it wasn't done very well. The chimera's cheeks were a brilliant scarlet from embarrassment as she sorted through clothes that used to have been white or red that were now pink. And there were fabrics that were worn thin because they should have been hand-washed rather than machine-washed. The worst had to be the shrunken blouse. She said nothing, however, this was her own fault and she would own up to it. Looks like she was going to have to go shopping for new clothes. At least her black underwear came out unscathed.

Laundry was something that Aten could do fairly well. it was largely the folding that he loathed. He could send things through the wash, and through the dryer without things shrinking or becoming pink because of some stray red sock (thank goodness he didn't wear red), but the folding ... ! Aten stared at the table of clothes, heaped together in a pile and gave a soft sigh. He'd rather just toss them in a basket and leave them there, but he knew it was better for his space if he actually folded them and put them away neatly. Begrudgingly, Aten picked up a shirt and folded it in an uneven lump. He continued on this way for some time until the entire pile of clothes were sorted ... into other various messy heaps of clothes!? Sigh.Looks like he was gonna have to fold all over again.

Because Core classes are staff only, we are ending this class early. Thank you for participating!
In the future, if for any reason the person in charge of a class cannot complete it, we will have someone else step in to grade the class for them.
Congratulations, you've all passed!
