Caius nodded. "It would not do to invite others and not at least meet them." The Desert god had sensed the arrival of the other gods just as Aida mentioned it, and glanced at the reflection and nodded. "I recognize one, the man is the God of darkness I told you about a while back. I do not know the woman, however." Still, she was right, and perhaps those Cursed present would rethink their decision to be here as well with more gods present.

Taki gave Roman a look and while she hoped no one was looking she leaned over and tugged his tail, then turned away and pretended she hadn't done anything. She did her best to look serious like she couldn't possibly have decided to do something so silly. She shrugged and then said "What raw fish would you recommend then, mr know it all." She teased, with a smile

Aida's lips touched into a scowl for a moment before she gently nudged against Caius side as a silent acknowledgement that she was finished with her pretend window gazeing. "I agree with your sentiment my Lord. When it comes to matters of the palace and even of your domain, I feel more prepared and knowledgeable. There is very little information in the way of rumors and gossip concerning the outerlands." Aida paused then added with a lighter tone. "in fact I dare say your more prepared for this then I am, and I'm the one that favored this appearance. I feel a bit foolish."




With a startled yip Roman jumped in the air. When he came down he spun about in a quick circle as a automatic response to the tail tugging. It was only as he caught himself to spin about a second time that he realized what had happened. Roman flicked his head upwards in a pretend toss of indignation, then gave Taki a wide toothy grin. "Why. The wiggling kind of course. Just pulled from a stream all wet and flopping about. Thats the best kind of raw fish!"

Caius nodded. "I must make sure such a person is up to the task. It would also help if they are as loyal and trustworthy as you are," he says with a small smile as they continue walking. "And do not worry yourself, Aida, you are not a fool and neither of us are more prepared than the other."

Taki laughed and said "I will not kiss you, while making such a face"

Taki raised her eyebrow at Roman, "Do I need to get you a mirror to show you how silly that face looks??" Then when he moved closer to her, she blushed at his closeness. Then when he pulled back and crossed his arms, she rolled her eyes and said "Why am I a flirt for refusing a silly kiss, if you do not mean it, don't do it." Then she moved away to a shop to look at the food, leaving Roman in her dust to think over what she had said. If he wanted her or not, she was not one for games.

Roman was having fun. He was letting his guard down and allowing a bit of silliness to play out. Like a puppy frolicking about. He honestly thought Taki was in turn playing back, until she turned her heel on him and strode off. Roman blinked and flicked his left ear as puzzlement fell over him. It took the wolf a moment to realize that Taki was not being as playful as he, and a somberness fell over him. Roman dug his fingers into his pants pockets and stalked after Taki, his ears partly back as he settled into simply following her in silence.



Aida felt a little smugness at Caius assurances. It was small comments like those that fed her pride and her confidence in her position. Both as a harem wife and in overseeing the palace matters. "Very well then. i shall not pester you over the process of hiring your new advisor. I suppose you know best what you are looking for after all." She lightly added before giving a single small chuckle. Aida let her eyes turn to the street itself, and added after a moment. "The setting here is calm. For a Goddess of space I suppose this makes sense. The falling of night is when things turn quiet most often."
