"It's no trouble at all." He replied with a warm smile. "I'm just happy I could be of assistance." Plus he knew how overwhelming everything could be when you just started out, and how amazing it could be to have someone explain things to you. "Well...most of the time we don't...b-but sometimes we do. Stuff like Christmas celebrations, or perhaps some sort of scheme cooked up by the higher ups. Half the time you have no idea whats going on, so it's best to just roll with it. And when it comes to food, just make sure you know who prepared it." To save ones self from a trip to the infirmary with a stomach ache. Though he wondered if it was possible to get a few days off due to that...he'd have to find out later. When asked about his hair, the moon hunter just stared at first. He didn't know anything about hair fashion, considering all he did was tie his back. "Ummm...Depends if you like it or not?"

It seemed that something Jason said had tickled Ace, the tall trainee laughed, "I don't wanna be a frequent guest for the infirmary, though the nurses and doctors are hot there. But I don't like needles. Hmm Christmas, I don't have much emotions to it. It's about presents, Santa, glittering tree and decoration and the snow right?" He looked like he had some difficulties to understand the essence of the festival. "I do like my bangs, just sometimes they become a problem." He paused, turning to look at Jason. Ace leaned forward to lock the hunter between his arms and wall, with a serious gaze that looked into Jason's eyes. "Your bang looks a bit long as well, Jason." He brushed the man's hair backward naturally. "Won't it blocking your view?"

Jason hadn't realized that this guy had never celebrated christmas before, and he had to stop himself from running off to go buy him something. It was the middle of the year after all. "A-ack, I'm sorry!" He rushed to say. "I didn't know you h-haven't celebrated Christmas and-" His stammering apology was cut off as Ace leaned forwards, and now he found himself pinned between the wall and the other man, with his hair being played with. How did this just happen - they were just talking about hair! 'ZANTHVOS STALP YOU SQUEEING FOR CRYING OUT LOUD'
"U-uh...Maybe? Sometimes? I don't know?" He leaned into the wall wondering just what was going on.

In the orphanage, they did celebrate Christmas, it was also the reason why he could list out those things. Yet, he didn't quite understand the joy and happiness in doing it. Ace's eyes stared at the hair in his hand, feeling how soft it was and the lovely color of it, then when Jason talked, his eyes shifted to look at him. Rubbing it a few times, he finally let it go and leaned back to his seat. Frankly speaking, he didn't realize how awkward their poses were and continued with the conversation. "You've a girlfriend right? She didn't say anything about your hair?" A sudden whim, he recalled one of the girls clipped some colorful pins on his bangs, saying it was too long to look at his face clearly.

There was a long awkward pause as Jason let him play with his hair, which became more awkward when Ace looked him straight in the eye. Then he was released, and he relaxed against the wall, a groan of disappointment sounding in his head as Zanth lamented on a wasted opportunity. "Y-yeah. I used to have it shorter, but I think she likes it this way." Actually he wasn't fully sure, but it wasn't like he could get to a barber on a regular basis. Plus he didn't mind the style himself.

Jason suddenly stuttered, so Ace took a glance at him. "...I was thinking if I can borrow a few clips from you, maybe I should ask a girl instead." He pulled his own bang and said, finally noticed another hunter's sitting pose was a bit weird. "Did I scare you?" He asked, thinking how other kids in the orphanage stared at him like they were facing a wild beast. "Do you like clips will be too girly?" He asked another question in case Jason didn't know how to answer the first one.

"O-oh...Uhh, I...don't really have clips sorry" Jason replied. "I just have elastic hair bands" To tie his hair back. He then shook his head quickly. "N-no, of course not. That didn't s-scare me at all, really." It made him feel uncomfortable, but he was sure Ace hadn't meant any harm. As for if it would be too girly, he shook his head. "I don't think so. You can always get a plain hair clip to blend in with your hair. That way people wont notice it. Unless you want them to notice it." He mused out loud. "D-doesn't really matter if others think it's girly or not. I-it should be what makes you happy."

"Jason, oh man, why are you so adorable." Ace chuckled, he of course won't expect a man having hair clips, but the expression of another hunter was mildly amusing. Giving him a bright grin, he reached out to gently rub Jason's head. "You should keep that positive thinking. Yup, who cares about others' opinion, as long as I feel good, right?" He grinned again. "Anyway, that's a nice idea." He then showed him his nails and brushed his hair up to reveal the make-up on his face. "If I worry about how others feel so much, I won't paint my nails or get any make-up. Yet, I love doing them, thus you see I don't really care much. You can say I'm quite a self-centered person." He would be upset all the time when people call him a freak or weirdo and doubt himself, he would wonder why his parents dumped him when he was in the orphanage, he would call it bad luck when he saw the shadows. However, Ace was Ace. He never get affected by those events. poke mattix *hugs him tighter* Let's have a spar later biggrin

"A-adorable?" Well, that was a interesting way to describe him. He hadn't heard that one before. "Yes, that is how it should be" He confirmed. Even if he didn't take his own advice half the time it was still valid, right? "I don't see how it makes you self centered to wear make up or do your nails..." Sure it wasn't something every guy did, and it was a little weird, but it wasn't a bad thing as far as he was concerned. He tipped his head back and finished off his coke. "You seem quite nice to me."

"Men can be adorable too, yes." For Ace, it was a word to describe a cute action, a cute face/ expression, a lovely person or animal, it was a versatile word. "When you know me better -" he trailed off, took a sip from his bottle. "I really do whatever I want to do." He squinted his neon colored eyes, smiling in a mischievous way. He laughed happily, "Thank you, I'll take that until you take your words back later." He finished his bottle as well and suggested a mini game. "Let's see which of us can throw ours into the bin over there?" poke mattix YAY~! Jason with a big sword is gonna be the cutest! Roll 1d6: odd -> fail, even -> success

Well, that was true, men could be cute. He just hadn't thought of himself as such.
"I doubt that will happen" Jason chuckled, then looked towards the bin. "That sounds fun." He held up his arm, aimed, and threw his can.
It bounced off the side and cluttered to the ground.
Sighing, he stood up and placed it in the bin the old fashioned way.

"You just knew me for -" he checked the clock, "a few hours, Jason." Ace replied, turning the plastic cap back to the bottle, secured it when the other hunter went to toss his can into the bin after the shoot failed. "My turn." He first felt the weight of the bottle and estimated the distance between where he was standing and the bin. It surely weighed heavier than a can, the tall guy enjoyed the height advantage raised his long arm and shot like a basketball player. SLUMP!It went into the bin smoothly. "I win." He grinned like a smug kid, waiting for Jason to return. "You said you are a full hunter, so do you live on the upper floor?"

"Nice shot" He complimented, taking mental notes so he knew what to do next time he was gonna throw his bottles into bins. He then stared at Ace once asked if he lived on the upper floor, before looking the other way with a slight tinge to his cheeks. "Uhh..I s-still live on the bottom floor." Truth be told, he completely forgotten about how you could move into the upper rooms once promoted. He would have to change this, very shortly.

"Thanks." Ace didn't understand why Jason turned away from his side but he waited. "Basement then. Actually you're quite lucky, the virus event destroyed the upper floors impressively." He patted on the hunter's shoulder. "Any plan to move up later?" It was a privilege given to higher rank, bigger room and better lighting. "You deserve a better room, man. Don't you think the basement room is a bit small? The dim lights in the corridor looks like a scene that seen in horror movies." Taking shower was a problem, but he didn't mind going upstairs naked - alright, bottom wrapped with towel but his poor ability to find direction was worsened by the insufficient lights. Even the bed was too small for his height that he seldom sleep well.

"B-basement?" There was a basement level? Jason had just been staying in the original trainee room he was given. He didn't spend much time in his room, choosing instead to be in the library or kitchens when he wasn't on infirmary duty. Unless he was hiding under his bed covers from something scary. It was a small room, but he hadn't had any problems with it so far. He smiled when his shoulder was patted, glad that in the latest chaos his dorm room had someone remained unscathed. "Y-yeah, I defiantly plan to move into a bigger room." He scratched the back of his head. "My room is p-pretty small, but still comfy enough." Although he could really use a private bathroom...
