Elsewhere on the island, Evan squinted in confusion at the bizarre text message Stormy had just sent him. After wasting a moment trying and failing to decipher it, he gave up and sent a reply.

Candace made a slight face at the mention of an elusive division assistant. She huffed, keeping quiet by shoving her cookie whole in her mouth and taking her time chewing it. She watched Lance, completely...just..amazed to see him standing and walking all on his own. When mention of fancy coats came up she leaned back against Dakota and fidgeted quietly with the ruffled edge of her sleeve. She looked up again when he spoke to the hunters, giving a little smile. Well, yeah, that was her job. Luckily there were only a few faces she even knew right now. Made it a lot easier. She had a lot of work to do. Maybe she'd stick around for awhile. Dakota handed her his cookie. A mistake. The cookie was also eaten while he was off introducing himself. She smiled proudly at Stormy, her sweet little thing. But when Dakota returned to her she grinned. "I ate it. Sorry." Not sorry. She'd let someone new introduce themselves next. Pyxie Nyxie RAN OUT OF TIME ON MY POST WHEEEEEEEEEEEE HAHA 8D;;;

Arorangi was thrilled to be able to learn about everyone in Mist Division, most notably his leader. He watched with eager anticipation as everyone began to introduce themselves - Stormy's weapon in particular made his eyes widen, mouth open slightly at the sheer size and power for such a small girl.
He stood up after the one called Dakota, who was equally as impressive as Stormy, Arorangi's smile bright.
"I'm Arorangi Te Ariki," he said cheerfully. Broad-shoulder, muscular, tattooed, and with dreadlocks that trailed halfway down his back, his lighthearted expression seemed almost at odds with his otherwise intense physical appearance. This, coupled with the thick Maori accent that rolled out of him, made him appear sort of like a giant teddy bear.
"I am currently only a Trainee," Arorangi continued, sweeping a few stray dreadlocks off of one shoulder. "but I have been in preparations for my promotion. My weapon is called a kitsune, which I have been told is a type of fox spirit! He is named Ori, and he is a spear!"
He summoned the weapon, Ori chittering excitedly in his head, and Arorangi smiled again, giving a slight bow.
"Thank you! I look forward to working with you all!" he said, eyes twinkling merrily, and he sat back down, the spear dissipating into a faint orange blue glow and reappearing a second later as his totem; a paua shell necklace around his throat and resting on his chest.

Seeing Radley like this somehow reminded Nellie of herself. Which was probably what made her decide to reach out to her so that she wouldn't have to be and remain alone. Transferring herself to the chair that was next to the other huntress, Nellie smiled. "Radley's welcome. Nellie is... Nellie." She tried to shrug that off as if she was entirely comfortable with her unusual mode of speech, hoping that she wouldn't mind it too much. "Is Radley new here?"
She fell silent when Lance started to address all of them, her attention focused entirely on the division lead and then the other hunters in the room who were taking turns at standing up to introduce themselves and their weapons. When it came to her turn, she stood up, her gaze sweeping across the entire room without focusing on anyone in particular as she introduced herself with a clipped and stiff tone.
"Nellie. Been a Trainee for close to a year now. No specialisation yet."
She paused to summon her weapon, a pair of crimson gauntlets. "This is Nif... Niflheim." That was close. She had almost referred to her partner with the nickname she had given him out of habit. Relaxing, she went on. "Niffy is a fire warg." Oops. Somewhere at the back of her head, she heard Niflheim sigh. She quickly sat down, looking at Radley to see if she was going to go next as she murmured an apology to the fire warg.
< Sorry Niffy... >
Kanthulhu Aww thank you for your kind words! <3

"Uh, no." An irritated voice rang out in response to Stormy's question. The clicking of keys stilled as the assistant stood up from where they were sitting hidden behind a chair. "The name's Bree. I recognize some of you, others not so much." The hunter shrugged, flipping a coil of dreadlocks back over her shoulder. "Anyway. I'm usually a techie but someone decided to send the actual assistant off to go play elf or whatever archers do which left me stuck with this position. Please go bother someone else, unless you've got an artifact or anything tech related. Then gimmie." The hunter grinned, giving a cheesy thumb's up. "Anyway if you've lost your phone, go call it. 's what I do whenever I misplaced mine, unless you're one of those chumps that keep them on silent. Chump." Lance coughed, interrupting Bree. "Anyway," he loudly interjected, "This just leaves..." "You," "You," "You," "You," "You," "And you," "- left to introduce yourselves." The OOC Going to give another 24 hrs for you guys to intro yo'selves before moving on~

Scout did slightly perk up when Bree mentioned tech. Tech like ... Machinery? Mechanics were always a good way to get Scout to talk.
She gulped when Lance called her out, but just looked around the room nervously. Someone else surely wanted to go ahead of her...........

She looked around, squinting at the room. Who ... what?

Roland shifted from somewhere in the back, "And me," he added onto Lance's list moving to stand in the open. He paused waving to Candace, Dakota, and Stormy, three of the mist hunters he knew better.
"I'm Roland Taft, intermediate, I don't have any specialty yet since I'm still working towards full hunters." He held his hand out summoning his twisted scythe, "Sylvia here, is a great scythe, she's pretty well balanced having both protective and offensive traits. She's also a banshee."
With that done he moved off to the side his scythe vanishing, replaced by a small dangling ear ring in his left ear that mimicked the weapons shape.
"Candace did you eat all the cookies?"Pyxie Nyxie Because Dakota is near by and awesome and I miss your face dork Eight Because 7 8 9 and Candace the cookies

Dakota was so sad not to see his cookie. He gave Candace the most frumpiest of faces. Added to that, he was looking over the tech person with interest.
The last meeting's assistant was...Sandy? He wondered where that little spitfire went.
----
Noemi hands wrung together nervously as she was pointed out among the few who hadn't introduced herself. Like Scout, she shrunk in her sit.
But because Scout lost a shoe, Noemi as quickly as she could spouted her name and weapon.
"Noemi, Intermediate Mist, I'm a nurse in the infirmary or training to be one. My trident is a mermaid and we like to heal and that's all." She nodded her head furiously and then hid it in her hands.
THANK GOD SHE MADE IT THROUGH THAT.

Candace gave Arorangi and Nellie curious looks, committing them to memory. Those gauntlets were interesting, she'd love to see them in action. But finally their division assistant came out of hiding, and she wasn't even happy with the position. She pouted, leaning against Dakota and putting her head on his shoulder. She glanced at her husband, and that pout became a big grin when she caught the unhappy look he was giving her. "Just go get another one, geeze~." But then Roland accused her of eating all the cookies. Her grin fell as she pouted at him now. "What. No. I only ate two. Mine and Dakota's." Rude. She turned to Dakota, still pouting, and nudged him with a quiet little whine. "He was mean to me." Do something. How terrible. Rescue your damsel in distress, Dakota. She's so hurt. Her attention was taken from her husband by an adorable little lady introducing herself as a nurse. That trident was pretty cool, though. Candace eyed her, her head tilting as she got a good look at her face. She looked familiar but..Candace was pretty sure she'd never actually seen her before. Whyyyyy? Finally she stood, hands on her hips and a smile on her face. Lance hadn't called on her but she still hadn't introduced herself. "Candace Rainstar, full hunter. I actually specialize in training, but I've been called away for awhile. Hopefully I can get right back into that," she looked Lance's way as she said this. Pretty please~. "And stick around for awhile and get to know all of you, and also to bug the hell out of some people." This time she looked at Stormy. Warn Gale I'm coming it's his only chance at freedom. She smiled again. "And this is my partner." The two identical rings she wore on both hands vanished, reappearing as the bladed leg armor of her dearest partner. "Her name is Atropos, formerly a Catoblepas." She reverted back to her totem after a few moments. "I could go on for hours about her, so I'll refrain from doing that this time." With that done she sat back down on her husband's lap, draping an arm across his shoulders and reaching for his hand with her free one to idly play with his wedding band. It wasn't Nellie's intention to eavesdrop on the contents of the conversations that were going on around her but she couldn't help perking up a little when she overheard some hunters talking about cookies. Something about someone eating up all the cookies and leaving none for the others. Well that wouldn't do at all. She should probably pass the bag that she brought with her to the division meeting around so that the other hunters could have one at least.
Gingerly removing two cookies from the bag that were meant to be shared between Radley and herself, she turned to smile sheepishly at the little group and held out the bag in offering. "If Dakota, Roland and Candace don't mind, Nellie still has some cookies here to go around." The best kind of joy in this world was one that was shared with everyone after all.

There was no reluctance as Ezekiel rose to his feet, but nor was there any enthusiasm either. He'd been listening quietly to the others as they'd taken their turns in introducing themselves, filing away names, skill sets, anything else he found of interest or value. All with a critical eye. Now it was his turn. "Ezekiel Young, Intermediate. I've been working in the infirmary for the most part, though recent circumstances have kept me away from it." Recent circumstances having been his mission in the Sahara, the two month coma/quarantine, the broken weapon, and then his most recent stay in the infirmary for the awful burns he'd obtained during the most recent emergency. "I suspect, now that I'm able again, they'll be calling me back." There was a pause, where upon he considered what to say next. "Aside from infirmary work, I would like to start working with the research side of the Life division, focusing on aquatic titans and the other Fear based marine life that surround the island." This was directed mostly at Lance, rather than the room at large. A subtle reach for approval, perhaps. "My weapon is Lagertha, she's formally a valkyrie, formally twin axes before one of the blades was broken in the Sahara." He had not summoned her since then, mostly because she had only within the last week or so been able to speak with him again, and he had only just recently left the infirmary. There hadn't been need for it, and she did not sound like her usual boisterous self just yet. Even now, he could feel her like a pleased weight in his mind, but she should have been loud, demanding to be seen, bragging and overbearing.
