Macaroon
Another silent egg. Hm...Jovakor moved on without hesitating this time. He really didn't want to disturb the little dragons if they were sleeping or just didn't want anything to do with him. He approached the next egg in the bunch, a striking green one with a slightly zig-zaggy stripe across it.
"You certainly stand out," he said, pressing his hand against the lower swell of the egg.

Mooncake
Aw how cute! This egg was shy. She murmured some encouragement and tried to soothe the dragonet inside. At the egg's suggestion, she grinned. "Did you read my mind?" she asked. She had indeed been intending to move to the brown swirled egg next. Smoothing her fingers over the swirls, she smiled, her heart racing. "Hello," she murmured, wondering what kind of dragon lay inside.

Dark Chocolate Truffle
"I would love to play with you!" he assured the egg. He wasn't sure how often he'd be at this Weyr, but it wasn't a lie. He'd love to play with this exuberant dragon. He couldn't wait to see what these eggs looked like inside.
He reached for the egg next to it, a dark shelled thing with a white stripe going around it. "You're a pretty one, aren't you?"

If the hatchling inside the egg would have been out and hatched, it would have nodded at Kaleir. Sometimes, its siblings could be cryptic, but they meant well. Banana Split knew that much. Meekly, the hatchling inside gave the girl a gentle nudge. You have already found yours. Just finding again -- that's the hard part.Craaaaash!!
The sensation of something running by quick almost bowled over the candidate. Steady dragon? Hah! Turkish wasn't steady; Turkish was quick. It liked to dash from one place to the next. There was lots to see and do, and it was going to experience it all.Macaroon did stand out in terms of its shell. It was pretty, wasn't it?
It didn't show out, however, in its attitude. It said nothing to Jovakor, just as the others had, but don't be discouraged. There were others who were way more talkative.Mooncake quirked a mental brow at Asheryn. After giving the girl a look over in her mind and her heart, the feeling of something curling around at her feet could be felt by the candidate. Yes. Yes, you would do. The others were alright, but you. The hatchling inside seemed quite content now.Truffle was pretty, yes, and it knew it.
The hatchling would have preened if it could, but alas, it was still in its shell. Instead, he gave the image of a little hatchling preening; it would have to do, wouldn't it?
The dragon inside studied the candidate, but then turned away abruptly.
Nope.
Not interesting enough.
On your way, child. Move along.

Flan
Ah, another silent egg. The quiet ones seemed to be in this trio of eggs, so Jovakor glanced at the next one warily. It was large and golden in color, and he shook his head slightly before approaching it. You couldn't judge a dragon based on the color of its shell, after all.
He approached the large egg and rested a hand on the very top of it. "Anyone home?" he asked softly. With the three eggs to the left not responding perhaps this one wouldn't as well, but hey. He was going to go methodically through the eggs now until he had touched them all.

Dulche de Leche
"I certainly hope you do see it all." Devlin told the excited dragon, after regaining his mental balance from its crazy rush. Patting the egg in farewell he moved on to another egg in the cluster an earthy toned egg with bright orange streaks that really stood out. Reaching forward he put his hand on the warm shell.
"Good afternoon." He told the dragon within in a warm tone. "your excitable sibling over there is going to be a handful I think."

Creme Brulee
Kaleir considered the sweet little dragons impressions. When she had been told to go back it seemed like they had really meant..go back. "Thank you." She told the hatchling before removing her hand and reconsidering all of the eggs she had touched so far.
In the end she settled for going back to the egg that was closest to her and really that made as much sense as anything right? Moving towards the spotted egg she laid her hands on its shell once more.

Asheryn tilted her head to one side as she felt the dragonet inside look her over. The feeling projected by the egg startled her, and she had to look down at her feet to see if there really was something curled there. Her eyes slid back to the egg and widened a little when she was told she would do. Was this one hers? Would the little dragonet inside be the one she would be closest to for the rest of their lives? Her heart fluttered in her chest as she smiled wide. She continued to stroke the egg and wondered if she had to touch other eggs. She didn't really want to move...

Chocolate Fudge
Jarah snorted softly and chuckled at the confidence of the Truffle egg and the image it projected to him. And then it was gone. Well. Okay then. With a shrug, he moved to the egg behind the brown and white one he'd touched earlier. It was a lovely creamy color, tipped with a peachy color and brown. "Hello, pretty, how are you?" he asked with a smile.

Oh -- yes!
Flan was home!
The hatchling inside answered with what would have been a trill of greeting. Not many had touched it yet, so it was glad to talk. Sometimes, it was difficult to tell which eggs were talkative, and which ones weren't.
Flan thinks Jovakor's best bet is to stay away from anything chocolate related. There are other, more unique siblings. Like Flan! Or Jello.
To get this point across, the hatchling inside Flan jiggled.
Things that jiggled were clearly superior.Dulce de Leche agreed with Devlin.
It probably was going to be a handful. But not Dulce!
Dulce was relaxed and go with the flow. It took everything in stride, and especially all these hands pressing up against its shell.
Getting all excited was just tiring, and that was the last thing it wanted.Ohhhh -- you came back! Oh good!
Good, good, good!
Creme Brulee was happy to see Kaleir again! It missed her.
A mental nuzzle was what followed next, followed by a kiss on the cheek.
This was the life.Mooncake wanted Asheryn to stay -- it really did.
But, it was probably best if she kept going.
It was the most reasonable thing to do, after all; that way no hatchling's feelings were hurt.Chocolate Fudge was a pretty thing to look at, but not a pretty thing to talk to.
Jarah's question was met with no reply of its own.
Perhaps it was best to continue onward?

Raspberry Colache
"Makes sense." Devlin agreed with the hatchling within, giving it a final pat of agreement before considering the other eggs in the vicinity. There were quite a few all clustered together in this section of the sands. In the end he decided to reach for one in the middle. The colors on its egg were fairly similar to one of the other eggs he had seen on the sands.
"Hello in there!" He greet the egg cheerfully.

Kaleir was quite happy by the little eggs pleased response to her return. "Don't worry you'll hatch soon and be able to visit with whomever you like." She assured the little hatchling, stroking its shell softly, briefly she wondered if she would get fussed at for lingering overly long in one spot, perhaps she ought to go and visit some of the other eggs as well..but it was hard to leave this cheerful one.

Jello
The response from the large egg made Jovakor laugh softly, and he quickly covered his mouth with the hand that wasn't on the egg. Oh dear...he looked over slowly to the large mother dragon, but she didn't seem to notice or care that he had been laughing. He hadn't been too loud...hopefully no one else had noticed, too.
Looking across the way at the blue egg, Jov decided to take Flan's advice. He gave the egg a little pat of thanks before moving over to the blindingly blue egg. He reached out to rest a hand on it, a little smile on his face still from its sibling's antics.
"Hello...I was told to come visit you by your brother. Or sister," he amended.

Asheryn flushed and smiled. "Of course! How considerate of you," she said and gave the egg one last stroke. She'd be proud to be bonded to this dragon, if indeed she was the lucky one to Impress it. "I'll see you on Hatching Day," she murmured before moving away.
Though not too far. She slid her fingertips over the egg beside Mooncake, a wine color with spots. "Hello, pretty," she said with a soft smile.

Baklava
The silence coming from the egg was somewhat unsettling, but Jarah just moved away from the group he'd been sticking to, all the way around the sands until he got to a gently swirled egg in creamy colors. "Aren't you a pretty one?" he murmured to it as he stroked the shell.
