“Mmm, maybe not a partnership so much as a… friendly competition,” Amaya amended, grinning a bit. “You got me… now it’s my turn to try to get you.”
“Get me?” he repeated, chuckling again. He moved to another location before he continued, “As in you want a turn to prank me? Are we going to be keeping score, then, Amaya?” The idea actually did have some potential. Having to be on alert for a potential trap would keep him on edge, sharpen his instincts. And she didn’t seem to be particularly malicious, which meant it would all be in good fun. He loved good fun. He even enjoyed bad fun. Of course, that would be much easier if she knew who he was or, at the very least, what he looked like. He debated that for a moment. Reveal himself and enter into a potentially friendly rivalry, or keep himself hidden for the fun of it? Choices… choices…

“Oooh, that sounds like fun,” Amaya agreed. “Score keeping, that is. Much better than taking turns. Of course, in order to do that, I would have to know who you are. Like a name… that would help, don’t ya think?”
Of course it would, he thought with an amused roll of his eyes. But he still hadn’t decided on if he was going to participate at all. He worked his way around so that he was standing directly behind her while he considered his options. Finally, with a grin, he kicked an acorn so that it bounced off her ankle lightly. When she turned to face him, he gave a jaunty little bow. “Juan Ita, at your service.”

Amaya spun to face him and blinked, startled. Then she returned his grin with one of her own. It hadn’t occurred to her that it would be a mini that had trapped her. This opened up possibilities and challenges. “Nice to meet you, Juan... I believe that the score will be one to zip so far… yes?”
“Seems that way,” Juan chuckled. “And, of course… you have to catch me to get a point of your own.” With that, he dove into the bushes and made a point of shaking branches and breaking twigs as he darted away. This was bound to be a fun game.
