The Storm's featured twisted into a scowl as King swiftly retreated in typical King-family style. The fans were hissing and jeering, clearly not a fan of King's tactics.
King wanted to take it out of the ring? The King would get his wish.
After King slid out, Matt stomped over to the ropes and slid out behind him, just as the man was getting close to the steel steps. Hoping King would keep his back to the ring and not notice The Storm's sudden disappearance, Matt would charge and attempt to bring his boot colliding with the back of 2.0's head!

King was kicked in the back of the head, ironically not the first of his family to suffer such an injury that night, as he fell forward and into the steel steps, loudly displacing them from the corner.

Matt stepped by King after delivering the Big Boot, his momentum being a tad hard to stop in the pouring rain. The fans nearby were roaring for him, attempting to reach out and pat the returning BBW founder; but he showed them no recognition, not now. He had to keep King down and out.
While King was practically laying on the steel steps, Matt stepped up onto what he could and placed his boot on the back of 2.0's head, attempting to follow it up with a hard stomp, aiming to crush his rival's head against the unforgiving steel!

King's ears rang loudly as he was stomped on, causing him to slide slowly off of the steel steps, catching his fall with his hands before rolling onto his back, seeing several stars in the sky, even though it was overcast with rain falling on him.
Come to think of it, those might not literally be stars...

After King fell off the steel steps, The Storm stepped up to the final step, thus giving him a good height above the fallen One True King.
He stared down at his rival, prone and seemingly thoroughly dazed. Looking to take advantage, Matt jumped off of the steps, aiming to bring both of his feet slamming down onto Kelly's ribs!

The fans were surprised by this move, but not as surprised as King, who hunched over onto his side, both arms crossing over his abdomen as he wailed out in pain from the massive weight of Matt Shanahan coming down across his perfect abs.

Matt's footing on King's flabby abs was nonexistent, as he swiftly fell to the side after landing the double-stomp. He landed against the soaked mats, causing an audible slap to echo through the park.
He sat up after smacking against the mats, his eyes immediately going to King. With a huff of frustration, he began to stand, grabbing King by his messy mop of hair and attempting to pull him up as well in the process! If he managed to, he'd attempt to bash King's head against the apron, with the goal of keeping the man stunned and avoiding a comeback.

King's head reflected off the apron of the ring, grunting and spitting out a bit of the rain water as he tried to grab the bottom rope to keep himself from falling down again, instead catching himself on the apron, still dazed.

Matt kept a firm hand on King's ratty hair, not about to let the destroyer of his home and life get away. His eyes shifted to lock onto the barricade; now there was an idea.
The Storm grabbed King's tights by the waist and started running, aiming to drag the man along by his tights and hair. Should their momentum hold true, Matt would aim to send King running right into the steel-barred barricade fence!

King was driven back hard into the barricade, pushing it back from the weight of Matt and Kelly both being driven into it. Fans yelled in their ears, hyped that the action had been brought to the front row, as fans that King didn't even want or need slapped him on the shoulder and told him he was doing a good job.

Both men went through the barricade, sending the two of them into the sea of fans. Pain racked Shanahan after landing against the steel and into the muddy grass, but Matt wouldn't let it stop him. He pushed himself up again after a moment of rest, and tried to drag King back up with him. His goal was to drag King through the fans and head towards the backstage trailers!

King was pulled over barricade on his back, and Matt dragged him along for a while before wrestling 2.0 to his feet. As Shanahan tried to take him towards the back, King suddenly grabbed a bag of popcorn from a fan, and grabbed Shanahan by the shoulder, throwing the food into the former GM's face.
This was, however, a distraction, so that King could instead use a much more effective attack; dropping to a knee and lifting an arm between Matt's legs.

The popcorn proved effective, causing Matt to recoil and bat the buttery snack food away from his face. A grave mistake, on his part.
He gasped and wheezed as King's arm smashed into his groin area. Pain coursed through his entire torso before he fell onto the muddy ground, his hands immediately clutching his damaged goods.

As Matt fell to the ground, King made sure to pie-face him so that he fell back into the mud, while King staggered up to his feet and fled backstage, trying to evade Matt now that he had lost the advantage. King was worried at this point... what if he couldn't beat the Storm?

Matt laid in the mud for quite some time, simply holding his groin and groaning quietly. The fans tried to urge him to stand, but security was quick to push them away. After all, they wanted no interference in this match.
By the time Shanahan began to stand, King was long gone into the sea of trailers. With a muttering of a curse, The Storm pushed off of the mud and began to storm towards the back, temporarily limping as he was still recovering from the low blow. He had to find King, if he wanted any chance of getting his company back.
