Sugar refrained from audibly gasping at the curse. Instead, nibbling on more food before pushing it away with finality. Alright. Time to conquer the roller coaster and cool off.
"Yeah!" She chirped, finally showing some enthusiasm as she rushed ahead. Might as well and go have fun before her dad chastised her. Or worse, her mom.

Yeah! This was the kid she wanted to see, with some enthusiasm for LIFE in her. Shrill X grinned and trotted after Sugar Petal. A minute later found them both strapped into their roller coaster seats, with a front row view of what was to come. Shrill X had half expected the filly to chicken out at the last second but the ride was starting, slowly moving along the tracks and there was no escape. Up, up, up, up; slowly inching to the top of the first rise. It was kind of relaxing, if you didn’t know what to expect. "Hooold on," Shrill warned cheerfully and as they reached the top and started to tip downwards.

Ah, yes, this was relaxing. During the time there were busy being strapped in Sugar watched as a child around her age began to whimper, and an adult nervously fixed their hair. Oh, sillies! What was there to be nervous over? Water getting your mane wet? Finally, they began to move and Sugar settled, closing her eyes in relaxation as they ascended to the top. Now this was her kind of ride!
And then Shrill warned her.
Her eyes snapped open in confusion, mouth opening to question Shrill X before, suddenly, she was interrupted. They plummeted. She felt like any second she'd rip from the seat and fly into the sky, never to be seen again.
"AAAAAAAAAHEEEEEEE." Was the sound she made the entire time. And then water was thrown into her face!
By the time the ride was done Sugar had almost fainted, trembling when they let them out. It took a good five minutes for her to understand what exactly just happened to her, and then, suddenly, it clicked.
That was fun. She had flown. Or, as close as she'd ever get to it, probably. Suddenly, she whipped around, looked Shrill dead in the eye, and tugged on her hoof.
"Again."

“YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!” Shrill X was used to the thrill and rollercoasters didn’t really do it for her anymore but they were still fun and there was nothing like a good shriek all the way to the bottom. She almost had to carry the trembling filly off the coaster, manhandling her away from the crowd and then standing back to wait for any tears or tantrums. “Cool, eh?” She prompted and was answered unexpectedly. “Eh?” She questioned, eyebrows shooting up. Had she heard right? Then a huge grin split her face. Finally! The kid wasn’t beyond saving! “Whoop! Let’s go!” Then before Sugar could possibly change her mind, they were strapped in again (definitely having cut brazenly) into the line and going up.

And again they went. And again. And.... again. Sugar Petal lost count as her throat grew sore and body accustomed to the adrenaline. Now this was fun. It was drastically different then anything else she did, but she found herself addicted to the experience. Finally, after what seemed like forever, the filly seemed tuckered out, mouth stuck in a smile as she laughed with a soft sigh.
"That - phew - was fun." She admitted, mentally writing down the location of the place in the back of her head. Maybe she'd offer to bring Lavender here? Or her siblings? She couldn't be the only one who needed a break from the usual life!

There was a moment, Shrill X thought it was the fifth ride that did it, that she decided that this wasn’t fun anymore. All the food she’d shovelled down was suddenly very interested in returning to the outside world from the wrong end and her head was swimming from the constant up and down, round and round, up and down. But she wouldn’t call stop, oh no, she had a reputation to uphold and Shrill X doggedly continued to ride that damned rollercoaster until Sugar Petal finally decided to call it a day. “Yup,” she said, gulping to keep down the insistent hotdog, “fun. But uh, I’ve got adult things to do today, ya know, big girl stuff. So time to go home.” She was proud of young Sugar Petal and how she’d discovered her adrenaline junkie side but Shrill X was ready to call it a day. Yushika I reackon we can clsoe this one off with a last post from you? c:

Sugar Petal had almost forgotten herself, but eventually the voice of Shrill X knocked her back to her senses. Oh. Oh. She had acted inappropriately, hollering and squealing at the top of her lungs. She was sure her father would have been horrified! She swallowed back the need to apologize, giving a hasty nod.
"Oh, yeah." Adult things. Right. For a second she wondered what Shrill X even did (other then kidnap foals to an amusement park). What did someone like her do for a living? Something exciting, probably. Something loud. Maybe she'd ask her dad later, if she could manage to stop him from prattling on in his usual fashion whenever Shrill X was mentioned.
"Thank you for taking me here." She had finally remembered her manners. Reaching up, she flattened her hair a bit before awkwardly nodding. "Um, goodbye." And there it was, her normal awkward self. Nodding curtly, she waddled off towards where she assumed home was. She had lots to tell Lav now!
Ruriska I agree! Thank you for the RP <333 I loved it.
