 Lunaria wagged her tail as she heard he wasn't mad. She came up to him and nudged his hand onto her head sitting down in front of him. She was allowed on the furniture but it was only if she was invited. She then laid her head in Micheal's lap with a wagging tail, being sweet to try and get him happy. Despite her large size, she was like a puppy all the time and was very patient when it came to other dogs. She mostly played with large dogs and she even had a best friend, who was a German Shepherd/Husky mix, named King. Lunaria was able to have puppies but King was fixed so she couldn't very well have puppies with him, despite him being a very handsome dog with a beautiful coat.

  Michael chuckled a bit seeing Lunaria's mood lighten up. He started to pet her head as she nudged his hand. He patted the area beside him on the couch telling her it was ok to climb on to. He continued petting her for a few minutes before Anna ran down the stairs and into the living room. "I'm finished" She said as she showed her finished homework to Michael who nodded. "Alright you two can go play now" He told the two to which Anna smiled and looked over at Lunaria. "Do you wanna go see King today Lunaria?"

Lunaria heard King's name as she laid on the couch and let out a bark as she loved playing with her best friend. She then got off of the couch and ran to the door wanting to play with Anna and King together. She started whimpering and pacing as she knew King was outside right now.

Anna smiled at Lunaria wanting to go play now. "Ok lets go play with King" She told Lunaria as she opened the door to leave knowing that she wouldn't need to put Lunaria's leash on since they just needed to go right down the street. As she got outside she waited for Lunaria to follow behind then started towards King's house.

Lunaria walked next to Anna to make sure she wasn't in any danger. Once they made it to King's house, she barked to get King's attention. King perked his ears before running over to them. Lunaria met him up with him half way before King tackled her and they both started playing with each other and Anna.

Anna smiled seeing Lunaria having fun already. She then ran over to the two and tried to play with them. It was a bit hard with her being so little and without a toy tot to play with them with however.

Both dogs mainly ran around with Anna for a while before Lunaria and King started panting heavily. Soon it was almost time for dinner and Lunaria had to take Anna home. King had to go inside as well so he could eat too. Lunaria then went over to Anna and nudged her towards their home happily. THough on the way home, gunshots could be heard from the car that was circling their neighborhood for his next target. Lunaria started barking seeing that a man was running out of the house without anything but a broken arm. SHe ran after the man barking. But then, as Micheal was about to get shot at, the man aimed his gun at Lunaria, who was shot in the side and let out a yelp as she fell to the ground whimpering as siren's started wailing in the air.

Anna was panting hard by the time Lunaria nudged her along back towards home. When she heard the gunshot she looked in the direction it came from questioningly. "What was that?" She asked herself before seeing the man with a broken arm and Lunaria running towards him. She then gasped and ran over to Lunaria as she was shot. "Lunaria!" He yelled as she got close to her and knelt down next to her. Michael also ran over to her hoping to keep the robber from shooting either of them again. He had already called the cops though so he was sure they were gonna be running away.

Lunaria whimpered as the pain shot from her side. Poor thing was protecting Anna. Luckily the cops got on the scene and one helped to rush Lunaria to the vet while the others caught the robber. Meanwhile at the vet, Lunaria was in the back. Luckily the bullet just grazed her and didn't hurt any vital organs or arteries. When Lunaria was all patched up, the vet came out, and got Micheal and Anna saying "She'll be fine. Luckily the bullet just grazed her. She will need to take it easy for a few days though." Then he brought Micheal and Anna back to see their companion. Lunaria was resting comfortably on a blanket, still a bit groggy from the anesthesia for the x-rays. The area around her wound was shaved to prevent any hair from getting into it and she had a couple stitches where it was as well as a wrap around her sides to prevent infection.

Anna was crying the entire way to the vet and even a little while they were waiting for the vet to tell them about Lunaria. But when she heard that she would be fine she stopped and smiled a little. "Oh think goodness" She said as she hugged her head lightly. Michael smiled seeing that the Lunaria was ok and that Anna was finally able to stop crying.

Lunaria, even though she was groggy, licked Anna's cheek lightly before her tail started wagging. She was a fighter that was for sure. There was a newspaper reporter waiting for them in the waiting room waiting to see if he could put their heroic dog in the paper. Lunaria was happy that she was able to stay with her family. She then snuggled up to Anna as she would be able to go home today, but wouldn't be able to run until the wound was healed.

Anna giggled as Lunaria licked her cheek. Michael petted her head lightly before looking at the vet. "So when can we take her back home?" He asked curiously.

"We're just waiting for the Anesthesia to stop working then she's able to go home. It shouldn't be too much longer, but you're welcome to stay with her." He said with a smile before petting the wolf hybrid. Then a nurse came in and said "There's a reporter here. He says he wants to do a story on Lunaria and her family about what happened." Then the reporter came into the room behind the nurse with his hat off hoping to get a story.

Michael sighed a little hearing that they would have to wait a bit longer and that there was a reporter. "Alright" He said then looked at the reporter as he came into the room. He smiled lightly. "Alright so what do you want to know?"

"Well I'd like to know in as much detail as possible, what you think about the robber was scouting your particular house. From what I gathered at the police station, the man who tried to rob you had been looking into your house for weeks. The man said it was because his stash of about $100,000,00 was there under the floorboards of your very house. When he saw your dog however, he knew he had to wait until the dog was either away or chained up to get it back. What are your thoughts on this?"
