Chandra suppose he took Awen presence for granted, he wasn't ever alone since she was around so he couldn't really make fun of her for something like that. Plus with his twin Aysun it wasn't like he was given much opportunity to really be alone. Except when he really pushed for it. The kifna back home that belonged to Aysun was varying yellows...so it wasn't like he could offer to get her one. A shame really. "Well..I suppose I understand wanting a friend. Don't you have siblings? Other friends though?" He inquired wondering if perhaps this shy girl was by herself a lot. When the question was turned to him about his sprite he gave a bit of a guilty look. Yes he had been upset about his sprite getting hurt, but that had been awhile ago...the reason he was upset today..well that was a touch more personal. "Her injuries were beyond my level of skill, my uncle has it under control.." He explained to the latter part of her question first. "But she sustained them awhile ago...so...that isn't exactly the reason why I..was rather upset earlier." Chandra managed to say a bit of pink now coloring his pale skin.

"I... I do." What she was admitting to was left vague. Thankful to have the conversation back on him she nodded slightly. If his pet's injuries were beyond what he could heal then it would make sense that he left her home. "Well at least you have someone that can help her." She'd smile at him again. It took her a moment to realize she still had her hand on his arm and when he explained that the reason he was upset was unrelated she blushed once more and removed her hand from him. "Sorry, I guess I have no intuition to speak of." Giving a small awkward chuckle, Sy pushed her hair behind her ear again. "I'd love to meet Awen when she's healed, if that is alright." ((Eeep! Her twin is left for someone else to play so gender and name unknown atm. >

Chandra had to try and hide a smirk, although Sy would like to meet Awen, he wasn't so sure the feeling would be mutual. The little sprite was insanely jealous when it came to any female 'friends' Chandra had managed to talk to. So he wasn't going to say no, but perhaps warn her.. "Awen gets a bit jealous..so as long as you don't mind that I don't mind bringing her around next time." Chandra suggested, making it sound almost as if he was inviting there to be a next time. He wouldn't of minded of course, the girl was shy and completely different from Eira but he still couldn't stop himself from wincing inwardly as he recalled the dancer. "Its alright, its not exactly like i've devulged a lot of information to you. Let's just leave it at...unrequited feelings." Chandra managed with a nod of his head again, noting how her hand left his arm he wondered she thought of him. "I live closer to Jahaur, not sure if you've ever been in those forest's but it can be very pretty if you want me to show you around some time." (no worries Heras lol gaia is being dumb today)

His sprite got..? Syqvara broke out into a small fit of giggles. "I'll remember that and be sure to ask her permission before I talk to you again." It sounded adorable. She couldn't help but wonder just how the little thing acted now. Did she pull hair or sabotage things? When he finally seemed to divulge a bit about why he had been upset, Sy pressed her lips tightly together. "Sorry to hear that. Any girl would be lucky to have you, I'm sure she just needs time." It was all she could offer. Without knowing everything and it wasn't something she wanted to get in the middle of. "I've... I've never been too far from home, actually." Notably she cast a glance around at where they were now. "I think this is the farthest I've ever been." Turning her head toward the far distance that led away from her home she stared for a moment. Sy wanted to venture out but something always stopped her. It made her nervous. Leaving was a big step and somehow she wasn't sure she was strong enough to.

Chandra couldn't help but smile in return, he wasn't sure if asking Awen's permission would help though one would never knew until they tried. Still as nice as it sounded to give his crush more time he wasn't entirely sure his feelings would be returned. She was older and just saw him as a kid after all, even after he went through all that effort to grow a beard. "I promise I'll bring Awen next time." Chandra stated with another nod of his head, he wondered if she choose that particular style of hair cut to hide behind the heavy bangs, her outfit looked warm for this climate but ...he wore a cloak so he couldn't really say much about it. "Oh? Nervous about the big world?" Came his next question a bit teasingly though light hearted at the same time. He didn't want to annoy her again.

Sy beamed. Meeting Awen would be nice. Even if the little sprite was jealous. When he teased her she pretended to glare at him. A hand went to her hip with mock attitude and she gently kicked some sand at his legs. "So what if I am?" Her tone was playful, as his was, but she also was curious. Would it make her a coward to admit she had some fears about the world?

Delighted to see that she wasn't about to back down at his teasing Chandra gave a slight smirk. Being perhaps a bit too bold he moved closer to her and leaned in so that he was inches away from her face. "Well I think I can help you with that. If you are willing to accept me as your guide to the world." He flirted as he then leaned back giving a slight cough again. He was feeling a bit like he was betraying Eira, but how could he betray someone who didn't share his feelings? Well perhaps..it was more he felt like he was betraying the words he had said to her, that he would always like her. And well..he would. But it was nice to speak with a girl who didn't reject him right away. "Baby steps, I promise. I could have you met my mother if you want. Or my uncle I keep telling you about."

He got in close, almost too close. Sy could feel her heart racing as her face once more went from the steady pink blush to the harsh red. Turning her head so that she could look away from him she took a deep breath. There was some trouble in figuring out her blush was from her anxiety of people or if it was specifically because of Chandra. It was not her time to cough to cover her embarrassment. When he mentioned meeting his uncle she peeked at him, gauging whether or not she could speak without that stutter. "I'd like t-to meet your uncle. I-if you don't mind." Nope, it was back. Going back to hugging the book to her chest Syqvara would again chew on her bottom lip due to nerves.

Chandra was pleased with her reaction, perhaps he was just getting even for how she made him blush but seeing how many shades deeper of red she was able to put out was quite something. "No..I don't mind, and I can have you meet Awen at the same time." Chandra mentioned with another curt nod of his head, like this was the best plan ever. "If you tell me where you live I can come get you and escort you to my place," The young man stated though he was wondering if this was...a good idea. After all it meant his brother might be there...and his mother...and he didn't want to overwhelm the girl either. "Or if it is better for you I can bring them to you."

Where she lived? If at all possible the red grew even brighter and she shook her head. "N-no. Uhm.. I-I can meet y-you here." Having him go to her house would just be asking for her family to be curious. Since she was normally shy having a guy show up would likely be suspicious and then twenty-one questions would ensue. Now looking fully nervous she'd shift her feet n the sand as she had once before. "I-it's just that, you're a g-guy and.. well my m-mom will ask questions." She could only imagine the questions she'd get asked if it was known she was willing to go with Chandra to meet his uncle. That thought alone kept the blush on her cheeks.

heras box Sorry work ate me XD Been really tired and out of it this week ^^; Chandra was trying to very hard not to laugh, after all he had been the one embarrassed only moments ago. Though it was also understandable that she didn't want to get the third degree from her family showing up with a older man. He was sure his own family would do the same if he brought a girl home. "Alright, we can meet here. How many days time would be best for you?" Chandra inquired after all she was the one who looked like she would need to build up her courage to meet with him a second time as well his uncle.

She saw him trying not to laugh at her and she reached out to gently swat at his arm. Sy shook her head at the fact that he seemed to enjoy her flustered state. "It's you w-who will be traveling, s-so when are you up for it?" And it was true. Syqvara lived close by. Chandra was the one that would be walking the most. That and.. "I c-can be here any day." Likely she would be here every day, but she didn't want to admit to that. Little by little she would move farther and farther away from her home so that she could get used to the idea of travel. "Maybe four days? W-would that give you time to rest?" There was concern on her face. She didn't want him to get exhausted.

Happy to see that she wasn't entirely upset with his teasing he couldn't help but grin. Still he couldn't help but chuckle anyway. Though she was offering him time to rest it was really Awen who would need it...and boy were things going to be interesting when they met. "Four days is good. Perhaps though it would be a good idea if we parted ways. Its getting late and I should go check in on my sprite." The hybrid mentioned with another nod of his head. "Make sure your not late...else I will have to lecture you. Take good care of the book." Chandra stated offhandedly before he began to turn to leave. (probably a good place to end this one ^^ want to start another? With Takoda and Chandra?)

His mention of how late it was made her look up at the sky and blink. Why hadn't she noticed that? Syqvara turned another shade of pink as she looked back at Chandra. Giving him a nod she'd do her best to appear calm. "Alright, give Awen my best." She would be on time, she hoped. When he started to walk away she watched for a small time then turned to head home, book in hand. Sy would read it once she was in her room. (( Sounds good. ))
