Yaholo nodded. Aisha's lotuses came in many colors, but only if they held a new life inside of them. Otherwise, they were a normal shade of pink and held nectar for Alkidike warriors to drink. He'd never been able to drink the nectar, though, since he'd chosen the hammer as his weapon of choice and never needed the extra magic boost from Aisha. Tahigwa had told him once or twice that it was sweet, which was logical of course, most nectar was sweet. He wasn't missing out on very much.
"Well, the lotuses with different colors are holding babies." He explained, chuckling. "If they're not, the lotus is typically a normal shade of pink. It's Aisha's way of letting us know who's who from all the lotuses she has."
He let his body relax against Rilind and smiled.
"Of course, the color doesn't matter in the realm of health. A sickly Sister can be born from any color lotus, the same with a healthy one, too." He said, nodding. "Also, multiple babies can come from the same lotus. My mother and her twin sister came from the same blossom."

Rilind leaned against Yaholo, listening closely to what he was saying about the lotuses, about how those with little ones in them were a different color. It was something that had him looking up toward Aisha in a curious manner, wondering if he looked hard enough that he might spot one of those special ones. He couldn't help but to be curious as to what sort of color a lotus they might be granted might be. He seemed to think on it a moment before reminded himself that there was no guarantee that they would one so he couldn't let his mind wander to a hypothetical lotus... though surely he could still be curious?
He looked up at him a moment, then toward Aisha, "I see, then I will hope for the best if we are lucky enough to be blessed with a lotus of our own." He murmured, then went a bit wide eyed when Yaholo said that more then one baby could come from a single lotus, "Oh... wow, really? I didn't know that could happen." He mused to himself, wondering if that might happen to them? Maybe? No, surely not... but it was possible? Yet another thing for him to think about when it came to lotuses, "It sounds as though lotuses are quite complicated, huh? I suppose it makes sense though, what with them being the way your people are born."
The Earthling women were capable of similar things after all, able to have more then one child though it wasn't something that happened a lot. It was one of those surprises that came along with such a thing he guessed. He looked up at Aisha a moment then to Yaholo and said, "I am alright with whatever decision Aisha makes." If she felt they were ready, if she wanted to grant them a lotus, or if she decided against it. The whole thing was up to her and he felt she would make the right decision.

Yaholo simmered into the bliss of the moment. Here he was, leaning against his lover, underneath the boughs of his Great Mother. Could this day get any better? The thought of a set or so of lotuses blossoming just for them came to mind but was quickly chased away, not wanting to distract himself from the true meaning of this visit. ... But was this really the true meaning of the visit? Perhaps Aisha had something in store for them, they would never really know for sure.
"Yes, Aisha, we're leaving this in your hands." He said, nodding. "If you choose to bless us with a child, we'll love and nurture them just like any of your children before us. They'll be safe and secure and have everything that life can offer them..." He nuzzled Rilind and turned his head to kiss him on the forehead. "And we'll be the best parents we can be, together. No matter what comes our way."
