Yeah. He was tired of how everything just kept inflating in price and how money-centric Gaia became. It stopped being fun for him when a lot of his friends left for that same reason.

The inflation is one of the things that makes it hard one me, too, sometimes. Coz I can't afford to actually buy Gaia Cash to get items to sell off for gold, or pick up some of the things I really wanna get. At the same time, it's probably a pretty lucky break I can't afford it... Or I'd probably have a problem. I've got another friend on here who spends something like 180 bucks a week -- You multiply that out 4 times and that's pretty much a month's rent where I live. lol That's also just a touch less than I make in a month... Plus I got the whole utilities thing to worry about. So it's not so much in the budget for me.
I had tried to at least cut back on the amount of time I'm here, coz I'm typically here a lot. I just... Don't post so much anymore, but like my friend Danny, a lot of my old friends have left too. It's not hard for me to make new friends or anything, I'm just super awkward and I'm really bashful when it comes to making new ones? I dunno. I guess in theory, I'm here until a.) this place shuts down or b.) I finally get up the nerve to quit.

yeah, it's the same for me except I don't plan on getting a job for maybe 2-4 years, so I'm basically living off my parents, who would never spend their money on a website like this. I tried making it from the exchange but it's definitely not easy. Even though it's hard to make friends here, it's probably one of the easiest ways to get gold/items.
